Something brought the Doctor and the TARDIS to an alternate Earth ravaged by nuclear war. There, he encountered a lone wanderer and together, they contended with strange creatures and powerful beings. To find the source of these troubles, they would have to work together and travel throughout the multiverse, willingly or not. All in a day's work for the Doctor.

After fleeing the Capital Wasteland to his difficult decision, Curristan travels to the Mojave Desert arriving in May 2280. His aim is a fresh start and establishing himself among the major players. However, his internal thoughts may derail his plans.

Arcadia is a Time Lady who lives in isolation, and makes a point of avoiding the affairs of others. However, on August 24th, 2077, the bomb at the center of Megaton vanished. It was an event that baffled everyone, and nobody could figure out who was responsible. Then things get weirder when the Children of Atom disappear without a trace a few days later.

Curristan is feeling the pressure of existence in the Capital Wasteland. As he deals with a perilous journey back to his base, he wrestles with questions about his role there and a very uneasy choice is made to end a war.

Arriving in the alternate universe and the Capital Wasteland, Curristan settles into his self imposed exile. He has to contend with the new life of avoiding raiders, the hostile terrain and keeping out of interfering in the events taking place. However he knows that he needs to keep busy and stay alive in this new environment.

The Doctor hates when he lands on those sort of planets- all dead and lifeless and... ugly. The TARDIS said this was an alternative version of Earth, where war had won over diplomacy. But then he meets a small, outcasted girl in an underground bunker when his TARDIS makes her own choice, and thus his life is ensnared in that of the Capitol Wasteland's famed Lone Wanderer.

Albert Cole, the Vault Dweller, meets a man claiming to be a time travelling alien and a woman claiming to be his great-granddaughter.
