In a failed attempt to avoid a black hole, the Doctor, Amy, Rory, and Captain Jack (who had stowed away on the TARDIS somehow), are sucked into an alternate universe Earth and into a small desert community. Naturally, Cecil reports on them and Carlos becomes very important as the Doctor tries to figure out how to get them all back to their universe.

Cecil narrates a day with a new visitor to Nightvale; The doctor finds a town that surprises him far more than he surprises the inhabitants, a bit of a new experience. Just imagine Cecil's voice reading it over the air.
