It was suppose to be an easy job. Travel to the conclave, keep the peace and return home. Unfortunately for Kasaanda Adaar things don't work out in her favor. With the destruction of the conclave, she wakes up in a world that isn't her own with a mysterious mark on her hand that leaves an ominous feeling in the pit of her stomach.

Though the Orlesian invasion of Ferelden has come to an end, Thedas is no less tumultous for it. As Orlais goes to war with itself, Ferelden slowly rebuilds what the Blight tore down. Across the seas, Emperor Titus Mede the Second comes to realize that the next war is nearer by far than he'd ever suspected. Though reluctant to don the griffon, the Wardens go unsheltered from chaos.

The dragonborn just had to know, her curiosity was killing her. She had found several books with brief mentions of a land similar to tamriel. It was fascinating how it seemed to just disappear after a certain age because no book past this ancient age ever mentioned it. She had to find it, she had to find someplace new and this proved a challenge but she finally found it.

Storm clouds gather over Thedas and Tamriel both, as rivalries and the clashing of cultures and religion threaten the uneasy peace many foollishly take for granted. In Thedas, questions arise that could throw the continent into total war. Tamriel readies itself for its own conflicts, both within and without. And a mere mortal can set alight the fires that would consume the world.

The Dragonborn wakes in Thedas with no memory of how he arrived and without all his powers. In his fight against the darkspawn and the enemy within Ferelden, he must rediscover his gifts and assist if not lead those that at his side against enemies on two fronts. (Technically, this is just Dragon Age: Origins with the Dragonborn hanging around.)

Regret and guilt causes the Champion of Kirkwall to leave his office and sail to a distant land, where in tragedy and encounters his companion comes to learn of acceptance, compassion, and wide horizons.

Let me give you some advice: You have a power strong enough to defy fate and change the future, what you do with that power however will shift the balance between destruction and salvation.
