Attack on Titan
Attack on Titan: Yin and Yang
A/N: Influenced by Jackie Chan Adventures and Marvel's Cloak and Dagger, we will see where the power of the Titans take us when unanticipated factors come into play.
After Grisha Yeager had injected his young son with the Titan Serum, his transformation into a mindless Titan was instantaneous. He was about three-four meters in height, with his head disproportionately larger than the rest of his body.
"Rrraurgh!" Eren roared, no longer in control of himself, only sensing the power of the Titans within his reach. "Rraaaaurgh!"
He reached out with his arms and grabbed his father, putting him in his mouth, and Grisha felt the end upon himself. Or so he thought. Even as he could feel and see his own bones being broken by his son's Titan teeth, his perception no longer obeying what he understood as natural law, he saw the two Titans that he had given to Eren, in their previous incarnations before he received them: The Attack Titan when Eren Kruger possessed it…and the Founding Titan held by Frieda Reiss before he murdered her.
You did what needed to be done, he thought he heard the voice of Eren from the future he would never see say to him. Now, the hatred will cease.
He's wrong, the voice of Frieda Reiss uttered. You are both of you wrong. The Founder will never be used by the likes of you to tarnish the people of the world! You don't have royal blood in you, making any and all attempts to harness the Founder's power futile! You murdered my family for a power you will never be able to possess! You will never control the people you claim to want to protect! You…will…fail!
Split! Grisha saw Eren, before he was turned into a Titan, sliced in half, right down the center, his left side glowing white while his right side turning black.
Gasp! Eren came to, surrounded by smoke and heat, feeling disoriented and confused; his memory was blank and he didn't remember what happened.
What…what happened? He wondered, and passed out.
If he had managed to stay awake for just one more minute, he would have seen the most impossible phenomenon to have happened to him in his life. Even more so than that of the Colossal and Armored Titans attacking Shiganshina District and his mother being murdered by a Titan with a smile. Laying just four feet from where he lay, another young boy that looked just like him awoke from his slumber and looked at him.
"What… Who… Free…freedom," he uttered, getting to his feet and walked away.
Fifteen minutes later, Keith Shadis came looking for Grisha and Eren, only to find the boy unconscious on the ground, his father nowhere to be seen.
Grisha…what did you do? He wondered, picking Eren up and returning him back to the shelter where the other refugees from Shiganshina were.
Unbeknownst to Keith, an apparition of Frieda Reiss watched from the shadows as he took Eren away. She watched with eyes full of hope that he would be safe. That the very power he possessed would be kept safe.
Protect what can be protected, she uttered as she vanished from the wood, and forget about what will not be possible.

He ran. He ran for a long time, never stopping. Not until he reached his destination, which was Shiganshina District.
I got no strings to hold me down, he thought of an old song, to make me fret, or make me frown. I had strings, but now I'm free. There are no strings on me.
Just several feet away where he stopped, just outside of the inner gate to his former home, he saw four Titans, probably left behind from the horde that attacked earlier in the beginning, and he smiled a cold smile.
"I had strings," he expresses, raising his wrist to his mouth, "but now I'm free."
BOOM! A burst of fire appeared where the boy once stood…and in his place was a fifteen-meter Titan with glowing, green eyes, pointed ears and an irregular jawline.
"Rrrrraaurgh!" The Titan roared at the four Titans away from it, getting their attention.

Eren tossed and turned in his sleep, feeling like he was trying to get away from something or someone.
"I…am…free…" He muttered in his slumber in the shelter.
To be continued…
A/N: Here's the first chapter of a new story that I hope will impress some of you out there. It's from the previous poll that I have yet to take down. Something has happened, and it changes everything that was intended to happen, but now will happen in a different way. One with power and morale, another with rage and defiance, but only one will have any sort of future. But which one will it be…or rather, who will it not be?
