Chapter 1: First is Hardest
A young child stood before a tall adult, eyes open and mouth open a gasp. His clothing coated in dry blood and soaked in sweat.
"I am sorry, Naruto." The man said as he stood before the nine-year-old boy. "But your parents are gone."
The boy shook, biting his lip as his blue eyes watered, knowing he needed to listen before he broke down.
"But your uncle will be here soon." The man said as he took the boy's hand. "I promise Naruto, you will be taken care of."
"You sure, Az?" Naruto asked, his blonde hair getting a hand in it as the Governor-General patted his head.
"I am, Naruto." Azazel replied with a kind smile.
Naruto broke and hugged the angel, his black feathered wings appearing out of his back before they wrapped around Azazel's legs.
"Naruto, it's hard to move…" Azazel said with annoyance.
Naruto let him go, wiping his eyes in a futile attempt to dry them, but the tears kept coming.
"Lord Azazel, Kokabiel is here for Naruto." A woman said as she stepped aside before Kokabiel entered.
"Uncle…" Naruto whimpered as the Kokabiel looked down at the child.
"It's nice to meet you, Naruto." Kokabiel said as he squatted down and smiled. "I… am sorry for what happened. Minato and Kushina were good people."
Naruto felt uncomfortable, gripping Azazel's pants tightly.
"Are Naruto's things packed?" Azazel asked the woman, who held her hand out and summoned Naruto's backpack, which was stuffed with several things from his house.
At least things that weren't destroyed or coated in his parent's blood.
"Here you go, Naruto." The woman said as she helped him put his back pack on. "There."
She pinched his cheeks, smiling playfully as he held a face of displeasure.
"Stop, please." Naruto stated as he pushed her hands off his face, which was red from her pinching.
The woman smiled as she released his cheeks, which were now red.
Kokabiel stood up, a magic seal appearing before his ear, which he touched.
"Yes…" He said before going silent, listening to the person on the other side. "Understood, we will be there soon." He ended the call and turned to Azazel. "Naruto and I must be going now."
He reached out for Naruto to take his hand, which Naruto just stared at like it was plagued.
Naruto slowly reached out and took it before he and Kokabiel walked out.
"You think Naruto will be okay with Kokabiel?" the woman asked in concern for the boy.
"Yes," Azazel said as he pulled out a pipe and started to smoke. "Naruto lost his parents, and Kokabiel lost his baby brother and sister-in-law, I feel they will need each other to move on."
Next Day…
Naruto winced as a strange liquid was injected into his arm.
He was wearing a hospital gown while currently being strapped to a table.
"Un-Uncle…" Naruto whimpered as his arm felt tingly before he gasped.
"Don't worry, Naruto." Kokabiel said through a speaker, due to being behind one way glass. "This is just a standard procedure."
Before Naruto could ask, magical lightning suddenly pulsed through his body.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHGHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHGHAGHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHGHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Naruto screamed as his body was amped with hundreds of volts from magic lightning.
Kokabiel watched as Naruto was electrocuted.
"The Serum is now in his veins, now all we need to do is do intense torture therapy to awaken them." The head doctor said as his associate working the control watched in horror.
"Lord Kokabiel, we need to stop…"
"That boy is of my ilk, so he can handle it." Kokabiel stated as he stared strictly at his nephew on the slab. "Keep going, and increase the voltage."
The scientist weakly nodded before he turned a nob, increasing the intensity.
Naruto's voice cracked, squealing into a high-pitched scream as his eyes dilated to the point of vanishing.
The scientist could not stomach it and hit the power cancel button, ending the shocks.
Naruto stopped screaming, hitting the slab he was cuffed to, his body sizzling with multiple lacerations on his body with blood leaking out.
"Hmph, give him an hour to heal, then we will return to our therapy." Kokabiel ordered, displeased with the scientist's cowardice.
The scientist, named Raiki Gouriki, gripped his hands in anger.
'This… I can't…' Raiki thought as he got out of his chair and walked into the room, taking the small fallen child and took him to the infirmary.
"HEY!" a female fallen child said as she appeared before Raiki, scaring him.
"MOTHER OF…. AYAME!" Raiki shouted through his teeth as he looked at the giggling child.
Ayame Kajo (Age 9) had raven colored hair with golden eyes. She was currently wearing a hospital gown like Naruto and was flying with her tiny wings.
"GOT YOU… who is this?" Ayame asked as she took notice of Naruto's charred body, and took notice of the patches of skin that were healing back to a healthy shade. "Oh, he heals fast."
"Oh, good, that means some of the experiments are working." Raiki sighed in relief. "This is Naruto…"
"OH, Lord Kakabiel's nephew…" Ayame stated, getting a laugh at Raiki's disapproving glare at her purposely misstating his name. "He is cute."
Raiki stayed silent as he placed Naruto in a bed and then hooked a breathing machine onto him, to help the young boy breathe.
Raiki left, but Ayame stayed behind, standing at the edge of the bed, on her feet staring at Naruto as his body healed up.
Jumping up, Ayame climbed into the bed and touched Naruto's face, witnessing him flinch under her fingers.
Ayame may have been young, but she knew this was not normal.
Skip, One Year…
Naruto (Age 10) collapsed, gasping for air in a tank that was eighty-five percent depraved of oxygen.
His eyes were losing vision as the veins in his body bulged under the pressure.
A loud 'tssss' sound echoed in the tank, allowing oxygen to fill the tank, which Naruto gulped down the precious gas for his dear life.
"Good work, Naruto." Kokabiel said as he smiled. "You earned the rest of the day off."
Naruto shakily got up, Raiki opening the tank and helping him out.
"T-than…" Naruto gasped out as his lungs having nearly collapsed.
"Naruto!"
Said child was tackled by Ayame, who hugged him tightly.
"I've been waiting, now let's go!" Ayame (Age 10) stated as she took his hand and pointed out of the window. "We are going exploring…"
"ugh, Ayame, Lord Kokabiel has orders that Naruto…" Raiki started to say before the two fallen children took flight… well, Ayame took flight, carrying Naruto in her arms as the boy screamed.
Ayame laughed joyfully as she flew, lowering herself to the tree level as Naruto clung to her, his face in her chest.
She had a small blush, but was able to keep her focus as they landed in the trees.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Naruto screamed as he clung to her more as she sat in the tall tree branches. "AYAME, LET US GO DOWN, I'M SCARED!"
"Oh, come on, you have wings too, right?" Ayame asked nonchalantly as she pushed him, making Naruto lose his balance and grab her wrist, pulling her down with him, her eyes widening in fear.
Naruto and Ayame fell out of the tree, both getting hurt from the tree branches cutting into them.
Naruto hit the ground first, a noticeable and loud crack being heard, Ayame landing on top of him.
"Naruto…" Ayame shouted in fear and worry as she saw blood leaking from Naruto's head.
"AYAME, NARUTO!"
"RAIKI!" Ayame screamed, getting the man's attention.
"What is… OMG NARUTO!" Raiki shouted as he saw Naruto's head had been split open.
He ran to Naruto's side and assessed the damage.
To his shock, Naruto's skull, muscle, and flesh was reconstructing itself.
'His healing factor…' Raiki thought as he watched the boy's skull heal itself. 'it's been kicked into overdrive. Does this mean the Assimilation and Chimera serum has activated?'
Ayame wailed in tears as she thought she had killed Naruto, hugging his limp body as she did.
"O-okay, let's get back to the lab." Raiki stuttered as he picked up both children, unfurling his four wings and taking off.
Ten Minutes Later…
Raiki was sitting in a chair, beaten and bloodied as Kokabiel punched him over and over again.
"What is your job?" Kokabiel asked in a cold tone.
"To… to test my Chimera serum… with the Assimilation Magic formula…" Raiki mumbled with his cheeks all puffy and swollen.
"Yes, and the test subject, what is your job with him?" Kokabiel asked as he gut punched Raiki into near unconsciousness.
"T-t-t-to keep him safe…" Raiki gasped as his organs shook from the force of the punch.
"And did you do that?"
Raiki shook his head, his nuts shrinking in fear as he felt the intense urge to pee.
Kokabiel sighed, walking to the door as he cleaned his fist of Raiki's blood.
"Make sure this doesn't happen again, or else I'll have your head, Raiki." Kokabiel warned.
Raiki nodded, his adrenaline running out as he lost consciousness to protect himself.
Kokabiel read the report Raiki gave him.
'So, the serum should be activated by now, so we need to test it.' Kokabiel thought with a dark smirk.
Meanwhile, Naruto lay in bed with Ayame snuggling into him, refusing to leave his side.
"I'm sorry…" She sniffled as she rubbed her runny nose. "I'm sorry, Naruto…"
Within Naruto's mind…
Naruto floated in darkness, neither scared or comfortable with what was going on, or the lack there of.
He felt like there was somebody watching him, so he turned around and saw no one, but could not shake this uncomfortable feeling.
A green pulse brightened the darkness behind him, making Naruto turn once more.
'W-what is that…' Naruto questioned as he saw what he could only assume was a green glowing heart.
It pulsed, like any normal heart.
But it felt… off.
Naruto neared it, reaching out.
The air around it felt alive along with the heart as it beat calmly and steadily.
His hand neared it, feeling the 'warmth' of the heart before he touched it.
An explosion of light blinded him, with sounds of jumbled words being faint before becoming louder.
"… brain activity… up… waken… soon…"
"Oh… God…"
Naruto cracked open his eyes, before closing them as the light hurt them.
"Wha…" he gargled out, reaching up to touch his pounding head, feeling heavy bandages.
"Naruto!" Ayame exclaimed happily as she wrapped him in a hug.
"Ayame…" Naruto asked at the sudden hug, wanting to hug her back but the IV in his arms preventing him from moving his arms. "What happened?"
"You took a serious blow to the head." Raiki said with a sigh of relief before glancing at Ayame.
He picked up some X-rays and turned on the light, revealing Naruto's skull.
The first one showed his skull, the back part completely shattered.
"This is what it looked like when we brought you in." Raiki explained as he put up the second one, showing his skull had fully healed. "But this is what it looks like now."
"How long?" Naruto asked as he relaxed into Ayame's embrace.
"Four days." She replied, playing with his hair.
Naruto frowned.
The door opened, pulling their attention to it, making Naruto cower behind Ayame as Kokabiel entered.
Ayame quivered in fear as Kokabiel's eyes ran over her.
'She nearly killed my masterpiece.' He thought, his face remaining neutral though his mind was angry. 'I will not do anything for now, but if it happens again, then discipline will be dealt.'
His gaze shifted to Naruto, who shook visibly.
"U-uncle." Naruto spoke, trying to hide his uneasiness as the Cardinal Fallen Angel neared his bed.
"Are you healed, Naruto?" Kokabiel asked in slight concern.
He didn't wait for a response as he took Naruto's medical clip board and went over it.
"I see, well then…" He said as he put it back before ripping the IV's out of Naruto's arms, making the boy wince. "We shall resume out sessions…"
"Lord Kokabiel, he just woke up." Raiki said as he stopped Kokabiel. "His muscles need some time to regain some strength and he needs to eat…"
Kokabiel hid his smirk as he turned to Raiki.
"Don't worry, Naruto will soon eat, and if it goes well, he won't have to go through anything strenuous."
Raiki swallowed the lump in his throat, keeping Ayame back as Kokabiel dragged the ten-year-old child away.
'May father have mercy on you, Naruto.' Raiki thought in defeat.
His self-loathing and aggression stewed as he clenched his fist.
Ayame took anxious breathes, envisioning multiple horrific things Kokabiel could put Naruto though.
"Ayame…" Raiki said as he turned to the child, her worried eyes looking at him. "Let's go to the field, I'll help you further your light tempering."
Ayame, lost for words, nodded.
While she walked out with Raiki, her mind and heart were focused on Naruto.
Lab…
Naruto sat alone.
Kokabiel had led him there, and unusually left him, stating he would be right back.
Naruto sat in the fetal position, his anxiety spiking and not calming down as he went through all the potential tortures Kokabiel would possibly do to achieve… whatever he was trying to do by torturing him.
The door opened and in stepped Kokabiel, dragging something in.
It was a kitsune female.
She had pink hair and a large light brown tail with fox ears on her head.
She was covered in dirt and bruises littered her naked body, which was malnourished and thin, before Kokabiel threw her into the room before leaving.
Naruto nervously scooted over to her, to which she cracked an eye open.
"Y-y-you okay?" Naruto stammered, worried she may attack him.
A painful soft smile appeared on her face as she nodded, either too tired or unable to speak.
"Naruto…" Kokabiel said through the speaker, due to him being behind the one-way glass. "Your next session is simple."
A cold silence entered the room.
Butterflies of fear, nerves, and anxiety stacked and multiplied hundreds, nay, thousands of times inside Naruto's body as his blood felt oily and cold in his veins.
"You are to eat that woman, flesh and bones, all of her." Kokabiel ordered.
Naruto's eyes widened.
"I… I can't do that!" Naruto stated as he stood up, looking at the one-way glass. "I can't… I can't do it…"
Kokabiel smirked evilly.
"Then you will stay in this room with her until you starve to death or eat her." Kokabiel stated cruelly before cutting off the mic.
Naruto ran to the glass, banging his tiny fist against it.
"UNCLE, UNCLE…" Naruto shouted, not noticing the camera in the room watching the two of them. "UNCLE PLEASE, ANYTHING BUT THIS…"
Naruto slid down to his knees, crying with snot in his nose.
The woman forced herself to crawl to him, turning him around, and holding him close, giving him comfort.
One week later…
Naruto sat across the room from the fox, who he found out (From her writing in her own blood on the floor) her name was Tamamo.
Tamamo, meanwhile, leaned against the wall.
Their stomachs growled in unison, causing both to think about food.
Tamamo looked up to the ceiling, eyes wide before her pupils (With her head still facing up) moved to look at Naruto.
She gripped her hands against the floor, her claws creating grooves in the tile.
Her tongue lapped at her lips as she mulled over the idea of food.
Tamamo swallowed the lump in her throat.
Her decision made.
Naruto, meanwhile, sat in the corner, his mind racing millions of thoughts a minute, not focusing on the world around him.
He felt weak, cold, and hungry.
It gnawed at the back of his mind like a parasite for the last four days.
Naruto took a heavy breath before he felt something was off.
He turned as Tamamo jumped him, wrapping her hands around his throat to choke him.
"S-sorry…" She apologized with her dry, scratchy voice as her throat had been injured weeks prior. "F-for-give…"
She bared her fangs as her drool dripped out of her mouth and onto Naruto's face as she continued to tighten her grip, not wanting Naruto to suffer.
Naruto's oxygen was gradually being cut off.
His eyes felt like they were bulging out, his head felt swollen, and his face felt warm as it turned red from the blood being stopped.
He lashed his arms out, aiming for her face, scratching her in an attempt to get her off.
Tamamo, her will steeled and resolve solid, ignored the pain to satiate her hunger.
Naruto felt death loom over the two as his vision started to fade, his throat about to collapse as his arms felt weak while his breathing became still.
Tamamo watched as his arms hit the ground.
Her ears no longer picking up any sound of breathing or his heart beating.
Tamamo released his throat, staggering back a bit as she realized what she did.
'I killed him…' She thought as her eyes swelled up. 'I don't deserve any forgiveness… but I need to eat…'
Lab observation room…
Raiki was standing up in shock.
'Naruto…' He thought with tears in his eyes.
His body felt numb as his knees buckled before hitting the chair.
Kokabiel, meanwhile, held a look of disappointment.
'I had thought my nephew could awaken the Chimera-Assimilation serum for my plans.' Kokabiel thought in disappointment, watching Tamamo prepare to eat Naruto. 'But I guess my dead half-brother Minato and that whore Kushina could not produce…'
Kokabiel's thoughts went still as his eyes caught something…
Something that made him smile wickedly as he started to laugh.
Lab…
Tamamo raised her weak hand to cut a chunk of Naruto's flesh out to eat, having said a silent mourning prayer and meal prayer.
However, she stopped when she heard Naruto's heart start to beat.
Not just beat, but fast enough to nearly deafen her from its speed.
'What…' Tamamo thought as she heard Naruto's breathing return.
Naruto opened his eyes.
They were red, with black sclera.
Without hesitation, Naruto jumped up, and with the amount of strength he had in his legs, he lunged at Tamamo, rolling across the ground.
Tamamo was barely able to struggle as Naruto pinned her arms to the sides of her head.
She relaxed… closing her eyes as tears streamed down her face with a smile on her face.
"Go…. On…" She choked out, accepting her fate.
Naruto hesitated, his eyes returning back to their normal blue state.
Tamamo waited.
But it didn't last as Naruto released her arms and caved her rib cage into pieces from smashing them, grabbing her organs before tearing them out, killing her instantly before he raised them to his mouth.
Meanwhile…
Kokabiel strolled down the hall to the lab with his heart giddy in anticipation as he neared the door with Raiki behind him.
Raiki was worried, his face and body language not showing anything but worry as they faced the door.
Kokabiel opened it.
In the center of the room was Naruto.
His legs, hands and face were smeared in blood as he gnawed on a bone before crushing it in his teeth, chomping it into a mush before swallowing it.
Beneath him were the remains of Tamamo.
Her chest cavity had been eaten completely, Naruto leaving her shoulders, neck, head, and everything from the hips down.
'Did only part of it work?' Kokabiel thought as he didn't see anything out of the ordinary of Naruto's appearance.
"Naruto…" Raiki whispered.
His heart beat so loud that it pounded in his ears.
Naruto snapped his head toward the door, jumping back into the corner.
Kokabiel's eyes widened in joy with his smile returned.
Naruto now had a single fox tail and two fox ears.
'Objective: Complete.' Kokabiel thought, his plans for Phase Two now about to start.
Chapter 1, DONE!
Well, another new idea came into my head, and Rosaurocunan16 helped me give it life.
Any fans of Ghoul of Gremory can see some resemblance between this one and Ghoul its because many attributes from that story are here in this one.
I have done many 'Naruto is a devil' stories, so hopefully, I can pull off this Fallen Angel Naruto story.
Ayame Kajo and Raiki Gouriki are from Shimoneta.
