With Roman
Roman managed to get far away from Team RWBY and catched up with Eggman.
"Hey Eggy. Mind explaining me what's with the Capsule and why there's small animals in there?"
"This right here Roman is the fuel for the Eggman Empire! This capsule can turn these small little animals into batteries for my Army! Rabbits. Squirrels. I could go on and with these Dust capsules you gave me. This can turn the tides in our favor!" Dr. Eggman said as he added the small dust capsule into the machine that was connected to the capsule to give the potential Badniks an Extra kick.
"Okay. So I've heard an explosion the moment I got here. Is there a way to, I don't know. Distract them from getting to us?" Roman said as Eggman saw the Explosion far behind him. "Hmm. Luckily. I got one of the few remaining Phantom Ruby shards to plunge Green Hill into complete chaos! Let's how they'll like it." Dr. Eggman menacingly said as he raised the Phantom Ruby shard in the air. Causing Green Hill Zone to change. The grass turned Rose red. The Flowers it's known for turned twisted. Roses started growing with the thorns looking disgustingly painful. Badniks were not only doubled in quantities but they were now menacing. New enemies have also appeared, thanks to the Phantom Ruby. One was had took more into demon-like appearance and had a Japanese look to them while the other had a more militaristic steampunk look to them. The water went from clear blue to now purple. The sky went to sunset and the structure for Green Hill is more abstract and some of it's dangerous obstacles were increased by more
"Emerald be damned. Can you tell me What's going on?!" Roman asked Eggman at what he just witnessed.
"Something to keep those brats busy while we continue with our plan." Eggman said as they hopped on to the Egg Mobile. Taking the captured animals with them.
Meanwhile with Team RWBY..."What in the? What just happened?" Yang said as everything around them had changed with the 4 girls still processing the change that went through.
"No idea but most importantly. Where did Roman and that Doctor went" Blake asked.
"Maybe those big floating Rings can lead us!" Ruby pointed out to the group as there are, indeed, big floating rings.
"HOW!?" Weiss yelled as she is thinking about why Rings float or why they're big.
"I'm starting to question the logics of this Island. Whatever. Ozpin sent us to save South Island. Not complain about the logic to it"
Weiss said as Ruby grabbed one. Only for it to vanish with the Rings splitting into four paths not to far from each other. "I feel some kind of energy inside of me." Ruby said she turned around to her friends. "You guys ready?" She said as her friends and sister as they ran split to collect the trail of rings that would lead them to Roman and Eggman.
Soundtrack Play: Sonic Advance 3 - Sunset Hill Zone
Ruby would take the top path where she quickly sliced through Several buffed up Motobugs and even riding one before jumping off to make it crash at Crabmeat. Weiss took the path of the bridge where 4 Choppers had destroyed the Bridge. She summoned a Glyph to jump off from as she homing attacked the Choppers with Myrtenaster with a single Stinger move while grabbing the Rings.
"(Ruby was right. This energy. Is this the power of the Rings?)" Weiss thought as she ran fast enough to enter into a Boost State where she ran down a hill and into a Loop-de-Loop. "(Too Fast! Too Fast!)" Weiss said as she had stabbed her sword in order to slow down. "Phew. That was close. I went too fast." Weiss said as she ran at a modest speed.
Blake wall run through a Waterfall and would then leap off to the platform.
"NO!" A Distorted voice was heard as the Platform started shift itself. "(Crap!)" Blake thought as she grappled a nearby Buzz Bomber who was buffed, thanks to the effects of the Phantom Ruby itself. "That was close." Blake said as she let go of the robot and jumped onto the platform that shifted. Blake ran as she saw a spring in front of her as she bounced on it. Sending her up into the air and used Gambol shroud to swing from area to area. While swinging. She witnessed two demons about to kill 3 small animals. She quickly went down to save them. The demons turned around to only to be sliced and disappear. The animals closed their eyes, expecting the worst until nothing happened as they opened their eyes. Seeing Blake running to the Corkscrew loop. She turned her head around. Smiling at them as the Animals waved at them as thanks for saving their lives.
Yang took the lower path where it was filled with Crabmeats, a Caterkiller and Steampunk Robots. Thanks to the rings she collected. She grabbed the head of the Caterkiller with ease and used it as a bowling ball to destroy the enemies. Yang propelled her as she punched a breakable wall where she got curled into ball and started rolling through a tunnel where got she would be launched into the air. She landed on the stem of the rose. Grinding where the trail led to her. Swapping rails as fast as she can to avoid the thorns and the stems that cut off that would lead to her potential end. Stems grew in a spiral. Yang yelled in excitement as they were growing.
"FALL!" The distorted voice was heard once again as the Stem stopped growing.
"Oh no." Yang said as she about to fall before a creature went inside of her.
"LASER!" A much more clearer voice was heard as Yang was launched. Ricocheting off the walls. Destroying the Egg Gunners in the process who were waiting to shoot Yang on sight.
"The Heck was that?!" Yang had came out of the Laser form and questioned what happened. Regardless. She was thankful that she's still alive.
Yang noticed on the top path that her friends were just reunited. She ran to the Spring where she bounced off of it and now is with her team. Team RWBY ran up a Loop-de-loop where a massive Snake had popped out from the Ground. Roaring at Team RWBY as they split and ran at the Snake's body in a attempt to avoid being eaten. The Snake knew about this and had snapped it's body hard enough to send Team RWBY up in the air and ate them.
Soundtrack Abruptly ended
Just as Hope seemed lost.
"DRILL!" The Clear voice was heard again as Team RWBY Bursted out of the Snake as the creature screamed and disappeared in cubes.

"YEAH!" Ruby yelled as the Team got out. Going through giant Dash Rings where they were sent flying and landed on the Stems that Yang grinded on. Like Yang previously did before. They switched onto rails as fast as they can.
"BLOCK!" The distorted voice was heard as the Stems grew to make a wall made of Roses and Thorns to stop them from reaching the crooked gentlemen and doctor.
"SPIKE!"
"BURST"
The clear voice yelled as Blake and Ruby turned into a spiked ball and a ball of fire respectively. Cutting and burning the wall to clear the way for Weiss and Yang until the grinded once again
"There they are!" Weiss exclaimed as they saw Roman and Dr. Eggman. Eggman drove the Egg Mobile carrying the capsule while Roman was just chilling. They catched up with them, thanks to the rings they've collected and a boost panel for good measure.
"Oh hey girls! How's it been?" Roman yelled as Dr. Eggman turned around being surprised.
"How did you-?! Fine! If this zone won't be the end of you?l! I will!" The Doctor exclaimed as he dropped the capsule.
"DOCTOR WHAT ARE DOING?!" Roman yelled at Eggman.
"Just watch." Eggman said as he pressed a button as the wrecking ball unload itself and he smashed the stems with it.
Soundtrack Ended
Team RWBY yelled as fell down to land on the red grass.
"My name is Dr. Ivo Robotnik but you can call me Dr. Eggman and-" Eggman said as he heard laughter from the girls.
"Wha?! What are you laughing at?!"
"It's Yo-u-u-You're name! Pfft-" Ruby threw an absolute fit of laughter.
"Y-y-yeah! What are you gonna do? "Crack" us to death?!" As Yang said the pun. The team stopped laughing as they gave off a deadass stare at Yang for the pun she made. Eggman, obviously, infuriated with the pun she made, slammed her with the wrecking ball. Knocking her into a wall.
"YANG/SIS!" Ruby, Weiss and Blake yelled, quickly changing their expression from disappointment to worried for her then turned around to see Eggman and Roman smiling menacingly.
"Oh my god. Finally Someone shut her up."
"Of course." Eggman said as he pressed the button once again where the wrecking ball now had blades surrounding it.
"Now. Time to meet your Doom." Eggman said as he slammed down the ball into the ground with Roman using his weapon, Melodic Cudgel, to help him out.

Ruby, Weiss and Blake split to give the villains a tough time focusing on one another. Ruby switched to Rifle mode where she shot the vehicle 5 times. Eggman attempts to saw off and crush Blake but Everytime he does it, he crushes the her clones.
"Stay still, you little- GAH!" Eggman Exclaimed as Weiss summoned ice shards to freeze the blades on the wrecking ball. Roman shot the froze blades then tried to shoot Weiss. Weiss attacked the Egg Mobile as Blake and Ruby joined her as well. Roman took this as the opportunity to bash them in the head and he did.
"UGH!" RWB exclaimed as they were knocked out out from attacking the vehicle.
"That'll put them down and- Why do I sense the feeling of Sibling protection about to beat my-OOOH" Eggman said while Roman held for dear life as Yang came back and anger than ever with her eyes now turning red. Punching the Vehicle as furiously harder than the last punch.
"DON'T YOU DARE ATTACK MY FRIENDS AND ESPECIALLY MY SISTER YOU EGGSHAPED- GAH!" Yang fell as she got back up.
"COME DOWN AND FIGHT ME YOU SMARTASS!" Yang boomed as Eggman, scared for his life, swung the ball where Yang was at. Yang swiftly dodged the ball but noticed a tiny strand of her hair fell into the red grass.
"Run." Roman said with fear in his voice.
"What?" Eggman said as he saw Yang grab the chains of the wrecking ball and instantly broke it. Dr. Eggman and Roman, now terrified, fly away before Yang threw the ball at the Egg Mobile. Critically damaging it as she was gonna land the final blow to it before stopping as a giant warp ring appeared.
"What?" Yang said as she stopped and RWB got up to see the giant ring appear out of nowhere where a Blue streak had struck it down. Sending Eggman and Roman into the next zone. Once that happened. Green Hill Zone had returned to it's normal, less dangerous, self with the Demon and Steampunk robots disappearing as well.
Soundtrack Ended
"Man. The Egghead doesn't learn anything?" The Blue streak revealed himself to be Sonic The Hedgehog. Sonic had activated as Transmitter to talk to Tails. "Hey Tails. I'm back."
"Hey Sonic! By any chance you found Akechi there?"
"No sadly."
Tails sighed "Where could he be though?"
"I'm not sure but I did get a Chaos Emerald in the process."
"Oh Nice!"
"And I managed to defeat Eggman while I'm at it. Although his vehicle appeared to be weak and briefly saw this guy wearing a bowler hat and some snazzy suit along with him. They're gone for now. You should've seen their faces. They were terrified." Sonic chuckled "Don't know why. Maybe they expecting it?"
"Sonic! Look! A Capsule!" Tails pointed out as Sonic turned around to see the Capsule.
"Oh. Thanks Tails! I tell ya. The Doctor is such a pain. I admire his motivation to keep up but still." Sonic jumped into the capsule. Freeing the Animals that were gonna become Robots. "Why can't he just? Y'know. Become good? What I kill to be in Alternate timeline. Well. Minus me having a British accent, being a complete jerk to you and turning evil by using the 7 Chaos Emeralds in the process but that isn't the point." Tails then saw team RWBY behind him.
"Uh. Sonic?" Tails said as Sonic turned around to see Team RWBY. Being surprised and speechless at what they're seeing. Not saying single word
"Ooooh." Sonic said as what he saw the team. "I'll talk to you later Tails. Sonic out." Sonic finish his transmission with Tails.
"Hello there? Do you need help with anything?" Sonic said as they were still silent.
"Um? Meow?"
Team RWBY has passed Green Hill Zone Act 2! Now it seems that Sonic will be joining on the this adventure! Now onto Bridge Zone!
So here's a Fun fact. Before Writing this. Me and my mutuals had been talking about how the story will go out. Originally. I wasn't sure whether or not I should keep the zones as faithful to the original or give my own spin on these zones. A mutual of mine suggested I should make a combination of the two. I then got the idea to make the Zones be similar to how they worked in Mania. Act 1 is familiar but Act 2 is different. And then both Forces and the Devil May Cry Reboot had came along to help me even further flesh out these zones more. So, Thanks Yoshi for the suggestion! As for the enemies. I asked my mutual's feedback on this since I want to homage SEGA's other popular series, Sakura Wars. They told me. "Yeah. Go ahead. It's your story after all." Not sure if it's overkill or not but I like Sakura Wars and I want to homage SEGA's other IPs like how my mutual does with Nintendo. So yeah. Those were some interesting facts about this story and this chapter specifically.
