Whisper to the wind
Disclaimer:l don't own NarutoAuthors
Note: This is my first Naruto story. Now personally, l feel the show would have made a great love story if sasuke was a girl. Would have made the struggle even more real. So this will be genderbent. They will be Thirteen at the start.
Chapter 1: Perspective
Money and power. These were the two things that ruled the world of shinobi. It was simple really, the rich thrived while the poor had to survive. It was a way of life most had come to accept.
Still, there would always be those who chose to revolt against the way of life. Were there was bad, good fought back. Naruto chose not to look at it that way. l'm the shinobi world there was no good or bad. Killing was killing and it was all part of the job. That didn't mean he liked it but he had come to realize that he could do nothing, not until he became Hokage.
At the moment he was bit a speck in his own village -a hated one at that- bit the gears were starting to turn. Last night had left him in shambles, finding out he was the jinchūriki of the Kyuubi but it cleared things up. It made sense.
Since he was young, he had always had sensitive ears and a high affinity for wind nature. He chalked it up to good genes even without knowing his parents. His hearing was adept and he was finally getting the hang of it. Of course the problem with this was all the things he heard. He did live in the red lights district. And he was greatful for it. It taught him the cruel aspect of life but it did little to drive him into action. As Hokage he would change that, he just wasn't sure how to do it. Problems needed answers. Answers tended to need you to think, something he often avoided. Today was simply a rare occasion before he started his shinobi career. Last night had been an eye opener for him.
He now knew why people placed their hate on him. That didn't mean he would take it. Today was the day his dreams kicked off, after all, power was one half of the world. To be Hokage, he would need to prove himself the best and he was too stubborn to give in. Being a genin generally meant that he was given a team.
He worried about this fact a bit. Naruto's personality tended to clash with most others. He was sure he could survive given time but there was that one person he wanted to avoid. Uchiha Suki.
Simply put, she irked him. Suki seemed to exude a certain aura of confidence that rubbed him the wrong. It was like the last Uchiha was made to grate on his every nerve. She was hailed as beautiful but to him it was more of a cold beauty.
Suki was much like him in the fact that she was alone. He craved affection and envied those with family. It was one thing he didn't envy about her life. Both were lonely. He still hated the girl with a passion but he would commend her skills. She definitely filled the bill for her position of clan heiress.
He figured he shouldn't think on it. Suki never brought on good thoughts for him. If anything, she reminded him of his lack of family. With a sigh he was up and ready to prepare for one last visit to the academy.
Orange was an awesome color but added a bit of black just to even it out more. He raced off ready to get things done.
