AU. Snape renounces Voldemort and his Death Eater friends and apologizes to Lily. The Marauders apologize and become his friends, including him amongst themselves and Snape sees Lily as his sister. When Voldemort hears of a certain prophecy, will Snape be able to prevent the family from being torn apart? Will Harry still be orphaned? Pairings: Jily, Snape/Marlene, Sirius/Amelia.

Dear readers. As a Harry Potter fan, I've always liked the idea of James and Lily surviving and raising Harry. I also respect Severus Snape to an extent because he protected Harry for Lily's sake and fought for the light as a double agent. But at the same time, I really resent the way he also treated Harry.

But it would have been interesting if Snape had never joined Voldemort and instead become friends with the Marauders.

To all Harry Potter fans, please read all the books before reading fanfiction stories. J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter is the original and nobody can copy it or beat it. Otherwise, no one will be able to see and/or appreciate the characters for who they are.
