Rated with M.… George Lukas didn't give us enough of it ;-)

I see you don't want the story in German language. Too pity, but OK. , we start it again...in English

Don't do it , Chapter 1
The story begins in 2010, but here the backround as first
Padmé Amidala Naberrie was born on June 9th, 1981 in Boston, Massachusetts. She was the younger daughter of two lawyers, both Harvard graduates. Her father, Ruwee Naberrie, ran a well-known law firm, already in the third generation. Logically, Padmé was expected to continue the tradition and she had the intention, yes she had ... but firstly, everything turns out differently and secondly, than you think. That's the saying. Maybe she always wanted to break out of these constraints, but just couldn't find the courage. She has always let herself be influenced by her father, or better said, let herself be ordered around, just so as not to disappoint him. She was his little girl.
Her sister Sola was different. She always did what she wanted. She did the least that was expected of her, so that the parents do not need to be ashamed on her. She did her bachelor's degree in economics and management at Boston University, handed her diploma and mortarboard to her father and said: * so, and now let me live *, took the hand of her great love Darred and flew to Las Vegas to marry ... with exclusion of public and family. Padmé couldn't have done that. She obviously wasn't as strong-willed as her sister. She was determined and learned, exercised with determination, always did what she was told and made sure to be the best at everything she did. So the will was there, it just had to be discovered ... by herself.
She was at Milton Academy through eighth grade and then moved to high school, Commonwealth School. She graduated from Harvard University with a Juris Doctorate and passed the bar . She was hardworking and always finished as best of the year. It wasn't as if she was just studying, she also went out with her friends Sabé and Dormé. She knew all small restaurants, cafes, bistros and bars in Down Town Boston, where she regularly met with fellow students. She avoided her fellow students and other young men who were intrusively interested in her. No, she wasn't a lesbian, she just didn't feel like sleeping around, or Mr. Right wasn't on the horizon yet. And no, she wasn't a virgin either. There was a Palo and a Rush Clovis, after those two she felt dirty, but it happened. She swore to herself that she would be more picky next time.
When she finished her studies, there was a big celebration at home, the parents were endles proud of her. She got some nice things from the family, like diamond stud earrings from her grandmother and an impressive gold bracelet from her parents. Her sister Sola gave her a gold chain with an angel pendant with the remark that she is a father's angel and she, Sola is a devil. She took that not as an insult, she got on well with her sister.
Then she started to work in her father's law firm, of course. She would lead the firm later, as the fourth generation of Naberries. It all started well and went on for a long time until she decided to visit her ex-fellow student Sabé in Washington.
That was in the summer of 2007. She never took long vacation trips or breaks, so she decided to fly to Washington DC for a whole week to see her friend again after two long years.
She was impatiently awaited by Sabé at Dulles International. Sabé had already planned everything, everything they should do, where to go, what they have to see, Sabé finally needed a break too. The decisive factor for Padmé's life was visiting the Congress where her friend Sabé worked. She was unexpectedly introduced to Senator John Kerry. They had a nice conversation, the Senator was impressed by the young, quick-witted lawyer. Sabé's entire vacation program went according to plan, and Padmé said she could imagine living in Washington, even though she considered Boston the most beautiful city in the world, not that she had seen all cities.
When she got home, she started brooding. Washington offered so many opportunities, for her as a lawyer, even as a politician. After two weeks, Sabé called and told her that Senator Kerry was looking for an assistant to support his work as Chairman of Senate Committee of Foreign Relations. Padme had no experience in foreign policy, but she was always able to assist and learn. She didn't think twice, flew to Washington and signed the contract. Back home, she gathered the family together and shared her decision with them. For the first time in her life she did what she thought was right and she swore, that's how it should go from now on.
The father was naturally beside himself. He couldn't understand how she could make such an important decision on her own.
"You mean I'm only twenty-six and can't think rationally yet, to be able to decide what's best for me."
"You cannot make such decisions alone, it affects the whole law firm."
"You will find a junior partner. Promising lawyers will tear themselves away. Father, I've made my decision. I'll stick with it. "
Nobody could sleep that night, but it passed and the next and the next after. The situation calmed down. Padme could breathe a sigh of relief and was glad that she didn't part with her father in a fight.
The move wasn't that complicated, she didn't have much, actually just personal things. She thought she would have to buy some furniture for rented apartment, she cannot take anything. It was just furniture from her nursery anyway.
The rented apartment was not far from the Capitol, was not large, only a larger bedroom with bathroom, large living area with kitchen and a guest toilet. It was enough for her.
She arrived in Washington DC with her few belongings a few days before starting work. Before she could move into an apartment, she stayed with Sabé. It was good for both of them to be together again, felt like good old student days.
Sabé was able to give her a lot of good advices, she had already worked in the kitchen of political force for two years. Padmé was glad to have someone like her, someone you could trust.
The first few days took some getting used to, Padmé felt somehow unimportant and small with so many known people around her, people that a normal mortal could only see on TV. When the first excitement had subsided, she saw that she wasn't that bad at what she was doing and the Senator was very pleased. This gave her a good feeling and was an incentive for further commitment. She worked from morning to night, sometimes even on Saturdays.
After two months her small apartment was furnished, very stylish, she hadn't saved. After all, she should have it good, the job was well paid and she was so used to being at home. She bought two Chesterfield 3-seaters and a chair, a glass and brass coffee table and a Persian rug. Brass floor lamp and lots of potted plants, including lots of orchids. There are no paintings on the walls yet, she wanted to buy something valuable later, not just anything. For now, she had only one painting by a Boston artist who wasn't well known and affordable, but she thought he had what it takes to be famous. Since her bedroom was large, she bought a king-size bed with two bedside tables, a Regency bureau in yew and a Captains Swivel Chair. Yes, that's how she imagined her apartment. So life could go on. The only thing missing was ... someone, and she will meet him at some point.
…
…
Anakin Alden Skywalker was born on April 19th, 1981 in London, Great Britain. His mother, Shmi, was at New Scotland Yard, allegedly managing the country's criminal database. What she was really doing knew only she and her boss ... ..but if you know a little bit about the structures of New Scotland Yard, huh ….. country's criminal database ….. The Security Service ….. MI5 (Military Intelligence, Section 5) ….. it must have been something like that. In 1980 she married Lord Alden Arthur Skywalker, an officer, captain, of the Royal Navy who died 1982 during Falklands War. Anakin was just one year old. There was a good statutory orphan's pension for him, but it was not easy as a single mother to raise the boy, except for the financial side. When Anakin was five, his mother married Cliegg Lars. Cliegg was not rich but very wealthy, which was the same thing. He owned a lot of lands in Kent, so Anakin's Mitter didn't actually have to work, but New Scotland Yard wouldn't let her go…. probably because she was a person of confidential informations, or maybe something else. She got involved with and negotiated an extensive scholarship for the first-class education of her son ... and maybe a little bit more. She did not want to ask her late husband's family for financial help, it was not offered. The only thing she claimed for her son was his title. The British aristocracy still have their titles but little money. It must have been like that.
Anakin's first year of education was at Connaught House School, a private primary school. After that, his mother released him with a aching heart and sent him to Cambridge to boarding school, The Leys School. He was excellently prepared for the A-Level degree and since Anakin was an exceptional student, the grade was of course A. Anakin was very intelligent but he didn't just rely on his intellect, he studied hard and did sports. Rowing was his favorite, although he still enjoyed playing ice hockey. In addition, he did a lot for his body, which he was proud of, spending a lot of time in the gym.
He looked good, actually devilishly good, and he was fully aware of that. It really can't be said the average Englishmen are good looking, but Anakin was a prime example of manhood and what a man should look like, he was a reborn Adonis. He was besieged by girls. His mother warned him to be careful and he followed her words. He was cautious, very much in fact ... and so there were rumors that he was gay. Such a handsome man can only be gay. Anakin didn't care about it, he looked for acquaintances outside of school, sometimes also older women with experience, he was eager to learn ... ... in the truest sense of the word.
His mother hoped he would continue his studies in the direction for which Cambridge University is world famous, humanities sience. But no, Anakin wanted to study medicine. Yes, you can also study medicine in Cambridge, but Anakin wanted to go to Heidelberg, to the Ruprecht-Karls-University. Many foreign languages were offered at The Leys School, Anakin chose German, even then he knew what and where he wanted to study. At the end his mother thought it is better that way.
He came to Heidelberg to Ruprecht-Karls-Universität in August 1999. His studies lasted six years, with a state examination and license to practice medicine, three months longer. When he finished he was twenty-four.
His student days were nice, Anakin fondly remembered that. He lived in the old downtown, Marstallstrasse, in a one-room apartment, all these years. The lessors were older people who, after a few years, considered him like their son. He loved the forays through the old downtown with his fellow students, late hours in the Seppl tavern. Seppl wasn't just an tavern where you could eat and drink something, it was an institution. Whoever wasn't in Seppl, wasn't in Heidelberg. The Seppl House has been there since 1703 and has been a tavern ever since. The walls are paneled with wood, in the front part there are pictures and photos from the old days. Every millimeter of the visible wood on the walls and the ceiling, tables and chairs too, have been scrawled; everyone who was there left at least their initials. Anakin did the same, scratched Anakin Skywalker in 2003, somewhere on a door frame. He loved the Main Street the most. So many lovely old houses and shops. Every time he went to the garage where he parked his Golf, he passed a shop on the corner of Hauptstrasse and Grabengasse, Käthe Wohlfahrt. The store sold Christmas decorations and supplies year-round. Whenever he flew home at Christmas, he went to Käthe Wohlfahrt and bought something for his mother. He loved the squeaky parquet floor where there was no carpeting. It reminded him of home, of England, of tradition and the preservation of old values. But he also liked something new. The SAP Arena in Mannheim opened its doors in autumn 2005. Home of the Adler Mannheim ice hockey team. Anakin often attended the team's home games, he played ice hockey himself for a while. Mannheim wasn't that popular, yes it was a city, but didn't have that flair like Heidelberg and yet the Anakin didn't stop going to Mannheim often. Clubs, concerts in the Rose Garden, the Mannheim National Theater were his stations during his specialist education. Sometimes, when the cultural offerings weren't enough, he even went to Frankfurt ... ... alone.
As always, Anakin was in great demand as a man, but a little more subtle, the fellow students and later colleagues weren't so pushy here. Still, Anakin had many acquaintances, but he never had time for a girlfriend, a steadfast relationship. He preferred casual acquaintances and one-night stands, didn't want to commit himself, he didn't want to stay in Germany. Having a relationship would mean just that. He wanted to finish his studies as quickly as possible and emigrate to America. He always took part in the green card lottery. Before he wins, he thought, he still has to make his doctoral thesis and finish his specialist education, and that would take the next five years.
This five year period also passed and Anakin was still lucky to get the green card. He packed his things, tearfully said goodbye to his lessorfamily and flew to London.
His school friend from The Leys School, who was studying in Cambridge, worked at John Hopkins Hospital and wrote him that a gynecologist was wanted there, for a permanent contract. Anakin immediately sent his application with all the documents and was asked to come for an interview. OK. to fly to Baltimore just for an interview? Well, he wanted to go to the USA, he also had a green card and to work in one of the best clinics in USA, he couldn't miss that.
The mother knew that it would come one day, but America was even further away than Germany, but she had known her son's wish to emigrate there for a long time.
In mid-July 2010, Anakin flew to Baltimore. The interview was very promising and Anakin had high hopes, and rightly so. He was the most outstanding candidate. After only two weeks he was informed that his employment relationship would start on September 1st, 2010. He flew to Baltimore again to sign the contract and look for an apartment.
After signing the contract, he began to look intensively for a place to stay. A cousin of his stepbrother Owen helped him with this. His name was Ben Kenobi and was a native Scot. Anakin didn't know him very well from before, they met only a few times when they were younger. Ben was five years older than Anakin. He went to Yale on a scholarship to study the law sience. As a student he married a fellow student who died five years ago. Alone and independent again, he was the perfect company for Anakin. Now Anakin found that he would get along very well with Ben and for the help in the beginning, Ben was priceless. All administrative procedures and looking for the apartment and furniture and, and ... .. Anakin was more than happy to have him around.
Since they saw each other often and went out on weekends, Anakin decided to find an apartment somewhere between Washington DC and Baltimore. He found something in a small town, it wasn't an apartment, but a house in Laurel. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, large living area with kitchen, double garage. Much more than he needed, actually, but it wasn't that expensive. He earned well and could afford it. He only bought furniture for the living area and master bedroom, everything modern and of very good quality.
He was a little over twenty miles to work, that wasn't a problem. He knew that in America you had to be willing to drive long distances to work, so twenty miles wasn't that much. It was just as much up to Washington DC.
The work was also interesting, he had to go through several stations, but that was not unknown to him. First he was in the maternity station, then the classic gynecological station, but also an ambulance ward where abortions were performed. He liked maternity station most of all, yes, greet a new life.
He made some acquaintances among colleagues who might have promised friendships, but the constant was Ben Kenobi. Anakin was twenty-nine, life could begin now, he was going out with colleagues or Ben. Maybe the luck makes a wink to him and he meets someone ... someone he would like to grow old with.
