Chapter 1
Popped into my head after reading The Magician by Tale Master Redux. What the author said was right. Taking Issei down the route of a Magician or a Magus is rare in the world of DxD. So of course I will be adding my own little spin on it. Issei will have servants to aid him and also be given a few gifts by a certain Troll who wants to see what this version of Issei will do in his world.
Kuoh Town.
Issei Hyoudou: Age 10.
Issei Hyoudou. A brown haired child was currently playing by himself in a park a day after his friend Rin had moved away to England. Issei gave out a sad sigh as he swung by himself on the bench. He looked at the other kids playing in the park and could see that they didn't even see him as if he didn't exist. Issei wasn't antisocial but the other kids never even bothered to come near him to even talk to him. Only Rin was the only one to see Issei and actually speak to him which made Issei so glad that for the first time a person actually saw Issei and wanted to get to know him however, now that his only real friend was gone he was back to being alone. Again.
To top it all off, his favorite show was ending their final season today so that didn't help matters either. Although he still had glitters in his eyes seeing his favorite character Gildarts reunite with his daughter Cana and fight alongside Fairy Tail. He looked so cool in his eyes because of Gildarts personality, his kindness, and yet still had so much power and strength behind him to defend others like a real hero.
After the monologuing in his head, he heard a commotion to the left and looked over to see an older man in robes hiding his features setting a puppet show up. Issei was confused by this due to the fact that he was the only kid at the park at the moment. As curiosity took over concern, Issei went over to the chair the man had set up in front of his mini stage, right before said man disappeared behind the curtain. Issei sat down on the chair and looked at the stage, curious about what the puppet show was.
It was quiet for a few seconds before all of a sudden a puppet appeared clothed in a butler uniform and looked to be held up by blue strings that seemed to wisp every now and then. Issei didn't know it now but he had just been exposed to the supernatural world. Any other would have seen the puppet moving by its own lonesome, but it was only Issei who was able to see the blue threads of prana controlling it.
"Ladies and Gentlemen!" Spoke the puppet in such a way Issei swore he believed it was the puppet speaking instead of the puppeteer. "Today I shall tell you of the most glorious thing upon this earth! Oppai!"
The Puppet declared as it made a grabbing motion with its hands. Then a female puppet walked onto the stage with a big pair of fake boobs and made a show of flaunting them. Issei had sparkles in his eyes as he witnessed this as he felt himself connected to this to his very soul.
"Sadly very few in our world worship these godly appendages. So I ask you!" The puppet said, pointing to Issei as the female puppet weeped. "To join me in the worship of boobs! Will you fall into the pit of depravity along with me?"
"Yes I will!" Issei shouted not understanding what boobs completely were but was following along with the excitement.
"Thank you my wonderful audience; this puppet is proud to have added another to our ranks." The puppet said bowing before it walked off the stage hand in hand with the happy female puppet.
Once it was over the old man walked out of the setup and quickly dismantled it. However before he could walk away an excited Issei approached him.
"Mister, that was so cool what you did with the puppets!" Issei said excitedly as the old man turned to face the ten year old Issei.
"Hmm?" Said the man, but underneath the hood was a knowing smile. "You are interested in the fine art of puppetry are you?"
"No, I mean those cool blue lines that were making them move!" Issei said with sparkles in his eyes, ignoring the surprised expression from the man.
"You could see the lines of prana?" He asked surprised.
To him, it should be impossible for any of the ordinary to see the magic he was wielding, at least in this world. He then narrowed his eyes on the kid before he smiled. What an interesting variable he has found. Those same eyes gave a strange glint, giving the man a perspective no normal being had as he stared at the child. His findings awarded him something quite special, almost making him let out a chuckle.
"Ah, I see while it may be as small as a rice grain, it's still there." The man answered. "You, my little friend, have the skills of a Mage."
Issei tilted his head to the side confused by the title and asked. "Mage? What's that?"
"It means you can use magic. Tell you what kid since I am getting old and I can feel it's almost my time to leave this world. I want to give you two parting gifts that will make you one of the most famous and possibly powerful people in the supernatural world later on in your life." The man said as he bent down to Issei's eye level allowing him to see his crimson red eyes that glowed.
"What is it? Is it these boobs you speak of?" Issei asked in confusion, causing the man to laugh wildly before he shook his head and patted Issei's head. (Don't use "before" twice)
"Heaven's no child." The man said with a perverted grin. "Boobs are for girls and you are to pursue girls so you may worship them for the rest of your life if you are to receive my gifts."
"Sure no problem!" Issei said with a thumbs up, excited about these gifts that the old man will pass down to him.
"Good but promise me that if you find any special girls in your life that you treat them right and never treat them wrongly." The man said sternly, causing Issei to give a serious nod that only a ten year old could give.
For a small moment, Issei saw the truth of the man hidden in the cloak. Red eyes leered down at him, making Issei feel so impossibly small. It was then he knew that was face-to-face with someone completely beyond him.
"Good." The man exclaimed jovially. "But first a test you must pass so you may start your journey in earning your own strength."
The man said as he reached into his robe and pulled out a glowing jeweled sword before slashing the air with it. A tear in reality occurred before it opened to reveal a pitch black expanse.
Something deep within Issei resonated at the sight of the void. Issei's eyes all of a sudden dulled and he walked forward towards the tear and placed his hand in it. Golden lines of energ erupted and forcefully entered Issei's body. Yet the boy felt no pain, even as this golden energy twisted and changed what was underneath his skin. For a moment, glowing lines of bluish-green lit up across his body in a circuit-like pattern before disappearing. It's final designs had put elaborate seals on Issei's back, ranging from a phoenix's wings to a dragon's scales to depictions of the elements themselves. Issei was going to continue walking forward until the man grabbed his shoulder and pulled him back from it. His sudden escape from the anomaly caused the tear to shut, as if nothing had ever happened.
"Many magus have forever gone missing from just touching that place." The man said to Issei whose eyes were undulled and he fell over unconscious. "You're lucky I was here to pull you back boy."
The man quickly checked his pulse and found it still beating normally. He then checked his body and found that the mana had completely bound itself to him and was spreading throughout his entire body without any issue. It seemed his newly enhanced circuits were going well with Issei's body.
"Amazing!" The man breathed out. "The master crests seem to be in sync with the boy. For a moment, I thought he might burn himself inside out."
He then stood up and reached into his robe and pulled out a black book that had blue magic circles on it's cover spreading throughout it evenly that slowly started to shine red when it fed on Issei's magic. He placed it on Issei's chest and watched as a chain extended from the base of the spine and attached itself around Issei's wrist showing it accepted him. A pause in thought, and the man pulled out a second item which looked to be a simple deck of cards.
"Founding of Magi Lineages by Solomon." The man commented, tossing the deck of cards on Issei. "Lead an interesting life Issei Hyoudou for I will be watching." The man walked the other way where a multicolored void appeared before him, complete with a grin on his face. His hood fell to reveal silver hair and a gray beard and ruby red eyes. He took one last look at Issei before breaking into a smile that showed sharp teeth.
"I wonder just how different you will be from the other versions of yourself." Spoke Zeltretch, master of the Kaleidoscope. "Seriously, this kid's a riot and a half. Almost as entertaining as Emiya. Maybe I'll get that dragon to watch too. Share some popcorn maybe. Either way, I expect many things from you and perhaps more."
When Issei woke up, he noticed two things: He was back inside of his room, and it was nighttime outside. Though when he began to move Issei also noticed that his whole body felt fundamentally different. Amazing even! His whole body was flooded with this flowing adrenaline.
When he sat up he could see that his eyesight had vastly improved and his body felt stronger than before. A shift in weight on his lap grabbed his attention to find a strange black book that was glowing a deep crimson. From the spine emerged a gold chain that snaked up to a band attached to his wrist. The thought of someone finding out about the book he had gave him an alarm of panic until with that same thought the chain disappeared. Feeling something in his pocket, Issei dug out what seemed to be a deck of eight cards with different images.
A part of Issei's mind was cautious in looking into this book. Curiosity took over the boy as Issei opened the book. Once his eyes took in the first lines was the moment his life changed forever. Whether it was for better or worse, only time could really tell.
'Greetings to whoever was fortunate enough to find this grimoire and was able to open it without dying. My name is King Solomon and I am the greatest magician to have ever lived.'
Those were the first lines Isse read in the book and his eyes continued to widen as he read more of the book. Issei's path in life had radically changed from the original timeline to that of not only a powerful Magus but also a Harem King.
As he studied the book, he never did notice the cards he had were glowing as if they were reacting to him. Especially the Archer card since a certain Guardian observed the boy and was both interested and annoyed since he knew that troll was responsible for the boys interests in women's chests.
5 Years Later.
Issei Hyoudou. Age 15.
Issei did not know when he became so engrossed in the book, and at some moments he lost track of time. Between his training and learning more about the arcane arts and the supernatural world, Issei hasn't exactly spoken to many people besides his parents. He's still a great guy but as he delved into the supernatural world more and more, his lust and gluttony for knowledge and his dream to become a reality had grown to where he was called the Antisocial Pervert. He was very interested in women folk and had two friends that he made in middle school, Matsuda and Motohama. The three of them had gotten into many scuffles but Issei still enjoyed having the two of them as friends. Yet no one can deny not even himself that he was quite alone.
But back to his reading, Issei was not that compelling to thoroughly study the grimoire and often became boring at some parts, like explanation on some spells. What engrossed him was the comments made by Solomon on the various magical practices. They were even admonishments from the Magic King how some magi were foolish to not see the styles of other magics could benefit their own. Those very same magic would instead belittle practices not of their own, essentially limiting themselves because of pride in their own arts.
Solomon would thus often mock and praise various magicians at the same time and give his own analysis and thoughts on their various magical practices.
Yet that was not what caught Issei's interest the most. Solomon for all intents and purposes was a massive pervert, possibly the greatest. With the king having a Harem of 300 wives with more than 700 consorts, that was enough for Issei to idolize the man not only as the King of Magic but also for becoming a literal Harem King. The latter being Issei's dream to succeed.
Issei was now quite proud of himself for reading the book thoroughly the first time when he was young. If he did then he would've missed out on the greatness that was Solomon.
'Solomon really had a huge Harem.' Issei thought as he continued to read his book. 'But I don't think I could ever reach that number. I don't want to collect them like trophies. I made a vow to treat them right.'
That had been one vow that Issei took seriously, one he even swore to the old man that gave him this gift. To never treat the members of his Harem like trophies to be paraded. Any and all women Issei was going to have in his life were going to love him with consent and thus he was going to make sure that they were as happy as possible with him.
Turning his thoughts away from his dreams to the book, Issei wondered. 'Would these methods even work? They seem quite legit enough.'
'I guess there is no harm in trying them out, it's not like they are going to work in the first place.' Thought Issei, mulling over the methods and the theories for good measure.
"First I need to access my Prana. I can feel it in me just waiting for me to release it but I don't know how to even bring out my magic." Issei read the first instruction. "The easiest and safest way to access my Prana is to draw the ritual circle and then meditate in the middle so I focus on finding a trigger that would help me access my aria."
Issei continued to read the next lines of the instructions before he looked at Origin Magic. Now that got his attention as he was most excited to find out what his Origin was. After all, it would dictate how he can use his magecraft.
"Origin is the starting point that defines one's existence and directs one's actions throughout life. It is the driving force that comes from within the Root that has managed to stream out of the Source and take on material form. The form it can take on at times is that of a human being, and all humans match their actions to be in harmony with the driving force that originated them from the moment they enter into the world. These actions are more along the lines of an inherent compulsion that could be called a person's instinct rather than a conscious decision. If a person becomes awakened to their Origin, it becomes nearly impossible to stray from their Origin if it's even possible in the first place. It becomes an impulsive behavior one would follow as though it were an absolute order. Under the system of Magecraft, Origins are used to describe precise details about a magus, while Elemental Affinity indicates one's general alignment. Magi with an Origin that is strongly expressed outwardly are sometimes removed from the normal alignments and there are times that the origin itself becomes the alignment. Most of those magi exhibit their talents as extreme specialists, allowing them to potentially reach higher grounds than normal magi. Even those without an Elemental Affinity are sometimes still capable of casting spells simply by following their Origin. It's possible for them to overcome great obstacles such as a lack of Circuits or a lack of talent for Magecraft altogether."
Issei looked at the circle on the same page and saw it was not that complicated to draw. It was not too large in size too, which meant that he could simply draw one in his room and erase it later. What got him thinking was the trigger.
He continued to read as he thought of the trigger. "Please note that the trigger should be something that the user is intimately familiar with and draws upon his greatest feelings and desires, yet requires intense concentration, base desires like lust make for poor triggers often leading to the magician using their magic at inappropriate times and causing undue damage."
"Well there goes my idea of using breasts as a trigger." Issei sighed at the loss of his most obvious choice. "Still there must be others I can use."
Issei gathered the needed components in drawing the circle in his room. While he did the necessary preparations, his mind focused on figuring out a trigger.
'The most obvious choice is 'Light Them Up' but it just doesn't give me much of a feeling and frankly it does not even make me think too deeply too.' Issei thought and discarding that phrase as his trigger.
(Issei Hyoudou will not know about Emiya or anything of Fate as a show franchise. So I put something in from Genshin as an example. Like if Issei was trying to come up, 'I will have Order' from Zhongli.)
Unfortunately, even after an hour had passed when he had finished the circle, Issei had still not been able to find a decent phrase for him to use as his trigger. Phrases like 'Henshin', 'Go Team Laggan', 'Bankai', etc. had not helped him even a bit. Hell he even went with 'Raising Heart, Set Up' which, while getting some reaction from the circle, still failed to make any decent progress.
Issei was really surprised at the fact that the circle was genuine and the surreal revelation of magic being real. He tried to dismiss it as a trick of the light and his mind, yet the circle had glowed for a good 10-14 seconds that proved that magic was real. Thus with a burning determination Issei sought to pour his all into unlocking his Prana.
'Still, who knew a magical girl's transformation phrase would help a boy like me.' Issei chuckled at the strange yet interesting avenue of thought.
While Issei had failed to use that phrase as a trigger, a thing that both disappointed and relieved him. (Cause what kind of man would use a magical girl's transformation phrase.) It showed Issei how to really go about choosing his trigger.
"I have to really think and pour all my emotions, not just my lust but also my curiosity, joy, awe and even fear and hate into the trigger." Issei recited, the mental image of Nanoha saying her phrase both made him jump with joy and yet brought a bit of fear of her using those giant death beams of death. "Man this is going to be hard."
And it was true, for a normal boy like Issei who had not experienced many things, had only encountered one life changing incident. The one with the perverted old man. It was hard to visualise something which he could pour all his heart in.
Sure he could still use breasts as his trigger but he just could not pour his hate and fear into them as well. It was almost unthinkable for him to regard breasts as something monstrous and he was not that deep into the internet community to see some of the more debased forms for him to truly make it as a trigger.
Sighing, Issei almost gave up on thinking of a trigger, but then something caught his sight: the poster of Zhongli from Genshin Impact.
It was a poster that he had bought when Mihoyo released official wall posters of their popular gacha game.
He liked the game and loved the characters. The personalities he saw really grabbed him. There was Keqing, the princess of Liyue who upheld her ideals of a world free of the gods' control. Then there was Ayaka, a clan heiress from Inazuma that shouldered such responsibility for the good of her people, yet desired friendship that Aether gave her. And of course there was Diluc, a fire-wielding badass that took it upon himself to uphold justice.
But the one who grabbed all of his attention was Zhongli, the Geo Archon of Order. He was the god of Liyue, and who endured thousands of years of tormenting memories to protect Liyue. Issei felt sad for him when he learned how he lost Guizhong, but also felt so proud how he was willing to give up his godhood for the sake of his people.
His strength also amazed Issei. How a man could manipulate the earth as if it were his own to summon mountain-sized spears. Yet for all that power, he was still humble to not enforce his rule as a god. Issei could remember the words Zhongli spoke that he kept close to heart.
'I have no desire for dominion, but I cannot let the common folk suffer.'
A smile stretched Issei's face when he remembered Zhongli's phrase when he brought down the meteor.
'I will have order!' Issei thought, and how cool it sounded if it left his own lips.
Issei then turned to the poster of Yasutora Sado and Gildarts from both Bleach and Fairy Tail. Issei had a deep respect for those two warriors since they had a deep past that made them into the people they were today. From Bleach, Yasutora Sado was a giant who seemed tough and dangerous but he was actually a kind person who only wanted to fight alongside his friends and help them with his fists. It was a shame that the show never gave Chad much power or screen time since the only times he was actually shown as a character was at the beginning of the show and the Arrancar Arc when he unlocked his true Origin and Powers.
'That was so cool when he used the Right Arm of the Giant and the Left Arm of the Demon to battle the Privaron Espada. He looked so badass in that scene which made me wonder. What if I could use those kinds of moves too? That would be so cool using those moves to finish my opponents. Especially La Muerte.'
The circle glowed even more as it was feeding on his interest in the abilities and the characters of the Gentle Giant of Bleach. Issei then looked at Gildarts, The Ace of Fairy Tail, as he stood tall and proud as he defeated Bluenote Stinger. Issei could still remember his two favorite quotes from the Crush Magician as he spoke to both Natsu and Bluenote.
"Fear is not 'Evil'. It is good to know your own weakness. If you know your weakness, you can become stronger and also kinder. That's what is necessary to becoming an S-class."
"It was an important test... It meant more to these kids than any adult could ever imagine. This test represented their determination towards their futures... and you've stepped all over it."
The circle shined even brighter as the image appeared in his mind.
A bone was being cracked from an unknown impact.
As the image played in his mind, Issei said the words that unlocked his dormant power like a dam bursting forth and filling every inch of his body, pushing the 15 year old boy into the life of a Magician.
"Break." And with that darkness claimed him.
Issei woke up after some time, it seems that after he had unlock his 'Prana', he had passed out for some time, thankfully not too long and had woken up just in time for dinner and then proceeded to erase the ritual circle.
Mentally using his newfound trigger he summoned his Prana.
It first came to him like a slow trickle, then with some more tries it slowly began to feel like a stream of water with his will guiding where he wanted it to go.
Pushing it into his hands, Issei was even able to create small blue like marks along his arms which were faint, almost translucent in appearance.
"It works…it really works. Hahahaha" Issei laughed, his eyes beginning to moist with joy. "This is it! The start to my path of being a Magus."
He stood up and threw a left hook which sent a powerful blast of wind into the wall which left a fist sized hole in the wall. That shocked Issei as he looked at his fists.
"No way. This is my Origin Magic?" Issei muttered.
Issei clenched his fists and looked at his feet before sending the magic to his feet. He saw his feet glow as he sent a forward kick to the wall that left a hole but also destroyed his shoe.
"Okay that was awesome but I could use some training. This is cool but I don't want to hurt my parents." Issei said.
He then began thinking of ways he could defend his family until he looked at a spell on the back of the book. Gehen is a spell that allows the user to analyze the structure of a material which then allows them to change it in a way which can be easily destroyed. Issei found this to be very useful, especially seeing how his Origin was expressing itself. He looked at the other spells and saw one labeled as 'Scan'. Like its name suggests it is a spell that allows the user to gain information on the targeted object. What Issei gleaned from this was that the spell was a total cheat.
So after going through the basic concepts of the spell, Issei prepared himself to use it.
"Now what should I use it upon?" Issei wondered as he looked around for a target.
His eyes landed on his school books, which gave him an idea. It was a wicked idea, but one that had potential consequences. But as the first rule of a magus goes: to be a magus is to walk with death.
"If it works and does what I think it would do, then school would be a breeze here on out." Issei said to himself.
Putting his hand on top of the Science textbook, Issei drew upon his prana and slowly directed it upon the book and initiated Scan.
Issei felt his prana surge forth following his command and intent, as it began to cover the book in a bluish glow as the spell took effect. Issei knew he was using more prana than necessary as even though the spell was supposed to provide info, it also required a bit of calculations and input about the object too to further cut the prana cost.
Even though it was a cheap spell, Issei himself was just starting out thus he did not have much control over his prana.
Issei saw and felt the spell taking effect and he started to smile.
Issei felt information about the book bombarding his mind through the spell, first, the dimensions of the book, then the number of pages, the stains on the cover, the wrinkles on the pages and then every word, every figure, picture, facts and theories inside the book.
The information came at such a fast rate that Issei's brain could not process them all at once; giving Issei a headache and making him end the spell prematurely.
"That…that was painful." Issei groaned, clutching his throbbing head.
The headache while not that painful was unexpected and the sudden influx of info had given him a bit of vertigo.
Still, when Issei reviewed what he had managed to glean from the spell, he was surprised when he had managed to remember almost a quarter of the text. The info was a bit disjointed, with full of holes as he could not remember all but Issei was surprised at how much he had managed to retain and remember with almost a picture perfect clarity.
Though, it was not like Issei had fully understood what the words fully meant, which still meant that Issei had to study and listen in the class to get by.
"Though even this much means that I don't have to worry about failing ever again." Issei observed "Solomon was right when he said 'To be a Magician is to be a Cheating Cheater.'"
Issei grinned as he remembered what Solomon had written in the book. "And I am now one of those Cheating Cheaters."
Issei tried out some few other spells like scrying, conjuring and a few enhancement spells.
He found scrying to be what he expected, but the image it produced was quite blurry and only worked at a short distance. For Issei it was fine as it meant that he would have to practice quite a lot, which he was eager to do.
Conjuring was what it was named to a tee, it conjured various objects and Issei was able to banish them at will too. Living objects were of course out of the spells reach but anything else was fair game.
Issei thought that it was quite an unfair spell with how cheap it was in prana and how easy it was to conjure an object. Sure the more complicated the object, the more prana it cost and along with various other factors the prana cost went up but the book said that it would never fail to produce an object as long as one had enough prana, except for gold obviously and that the object was almost permanent unless it was destroyed or banished by the conjurer.
What was more absurd was that if the person knew the object too well, the prana cost of conjuring it would be so less it might as well be non-existent.
Normally this fact would not be game breaking at all as the conjured items were very fragile though they were able to tank multiple hits they were not as durable as the original item. Combine those factors with how complicated even a mundane item could be, the cost of conjuring them more often than not was not worth it in the long run.
Thus it was treated as a basic spell to conjure simple items in times of emergency. He knew perfectly well how something as this basic spell can be game-breaking. Even Solomon acknowledged that the most basic spells can prove to be the greatest in the end.
The enhancement spells were also pure gold for Issei. There was one for enhancing strength, one for speed and agility, endurance, defence etc. they were even item enhancement spells which increased sharpness, durability, mass etc. Since his magic relied on fighting close range then the enchantment spells would be excellent for his fighting style and physical strength.
Also like all spells, the more Issei knew about the object the better he could enhance it with the spells for a low cost.
He was seeing a pattern here with all the spells. All of them required him to be extremely knowledgeable to cut their usage cost and boost their overall performance too.
'No wonder the Magicians are depicted as wise scholarly men. They had to be in order to be great magicians.' Issei thought, as he reviewed what he had learnt.
While this revelation meant that Issei had to study extremely hard in order to be even an average magician, he was not daunted by his increased workload as he could use scans to really cut down his study time. It was pure cheating, a massive insult to all hard-working students and yet it was so like a magician after all
'A magician is a Cheating Cheater.'
Still, Issei knew that simply using Scan would not make him a good magician, he would still have to give in more individual effort and work hard to keep advancing, after which he might someday complete his goals too.
He also felt like he was missing something still, though he had no idea what he was missing.
'The path of a Harem King is going to be long and filled with obstacles.'
It was a thought which made him let loose a laugh but one that he was now determined to work hard for.
'I don't know what the supernatural world holds but with magic I do have some protection against it.' Issei grimly thought, he was happy and elated to learn about magic and that it was real.
It had also proven that the world was not what it seemed and that the supernatural still existed and was real as anything on earth. The monsters that kill for entertainment, the devils that sought to corrupt the pure and damn them for eternity, the vampires that wooed their prey with their supernatural charms and fed on their life blood, them and so many more, the world seemed to become a more dangerous place.
'Damn you and your Moonlit World.' Issei thought all joy was now gone, filled with dread and fear, as he remembered the monsters of the moonlight world. He knew that they were fictional and thus he had no reason to fear.
But with the existence of magic, he was feeling unsure of whether the depictions were true or the reality was even worse than that. He dare not think too optimistically about the supernatural as even in folklore they wore masks upon masks of lies and deceit.
He was a bit scared, he would admit but now he had a minor protection against them in the form of magic and he knew that to protect himself better, he would work his ass off, because he refuse to let the supernatural stand in his way of his goals.
'I vowed to become a harem king and to become the greatest Magus. I promised the old man that I would become the strongest Magician and I will not let him down. Especially after the gifts he gave to me before he left.' Issei thought, his face full of determination. 'I refuse to let the supernatural get the better of me, until I become a harem king and fondle the perfect pair of breasts.'
While his thoughts were not what you would say normal, they did strengthen his will and fuel his desire to become a strong magician. Issei in that moment looked outside of his window and gazed upon the full moon, shining in the clear night sky and made his solemn vow.
"I vow upon the moon itself and stake my pride and goal of becoming the Harem King to become the greatest magician the world has ever seen." Issei proclaimed, staking his dreams which he regarded to be more precious than his life. "I will surpass the threats that the moonlit world will throw at me. I will from now on prepare myself to face everything the moonlight world has to offer and overcome them."
"But would the moonlight world be ready for me?" Issei said as if questioning the moon itself, asking whether it would challenge his claim.
As if in response to his words…his challenge…the moon shines brighter as it seems to accept his vow.
'Ready or not, Moonlight world, here comes the future Harem King.' Issei thought, gazing at the blue moon in the night sky before he turned the pages to see a page that he knew would be helpful to his dream.
Summoning Servants
Two Weeks Later.
Issei was currently dressed in a black hoodie and a pair of jeans while he was standing in his room with a backpack on his back as he smiled at his preparations for the ritual he was about to perform tonight.
Summer break had started just last week and for Issei it was an ideal time to perform the rituals and sort everything out. In fact he had even found a good isolated place, an abandoned warehouse that he found near the harbors, where he could do the summoning and maybe even set up a temporary workshop too.
"Man, never thought I'd be using those kinds of words." Issei mumbled as he went over his thoughts again.
While he was a mage in the traditional sense. Issei liked to think of himself as a magus and try to follow the codes and conducts of Magi though he was never going to take it as far as the aforementioned experiments. Looking at the clock, Issei got dressed and packed all his equipment and the materials required for the rituals.
"Better head out and perform the ritual before it gets dark. No night summoning for me."
Issei wanted to perform his summoning during daytime as it gave him ample amount of time to tackle all the kinks in the ritual. The fact that the book had also warned him that night time summoning tended to summon some nocturnal and dark creature also prompted him to go this route.
"I'm heading out mom." Issei informed his mother.
"Come back before dinner Issei." His mother called out from the kitchen. "And don't hit on any girls on the way." His mother added, making Issei stumble at the door.
"Have some faith in your son, Mother!" Issei shouted mortified that his mother thought of him like that.
His mother giggled at her son's reaction as she replied. "You're my son but you are also your father's son which is why I am warning you. Take care and enjoy your day Issei."
"One day I am going to ask my old man just what he did back in his youth." Issei grumbled
His parents never seemed to complain about his behaviour and in fact took it in stride like they were expecting it. While Issei was happy his parents supported him and did give him advice from time to time since he knew that their behaviour was far from normal. Whenever he asked they would just say that they had seen something like this in their youth, though they never did seem to share the details with him. Ever.
Grumbling about his parents, Issei made his way to the abandoned warehouse. When he got there he began to unpack his items before he began to install the finishing touches for the rituals.
"Let's get started shall we." Issei said under his breath.
After three hours of preparing, Issei was finally ready to begin his summoning ritual.
The Moonlit world truly amazed and terrified him at the same time as he learned of all the things that were included in this world. He took it upon himself to become as strong as possible to avoid death or harm should he ever meet any hostile supernatural.
His appearance started changing the moment he started using that magic he had unlocked and used the energy that flowed throughout his whole body. His brown hair was dyed black, his brown eyes now glowed red whenever he was using his magic, and his features were sharper now.
He had crafted a magic circle made of silver, which glowed in a crimson light due to his magic taking on that color. He had also gotten a catalyst because he wanted to summon someone specific. Issei wanted to go for the Golem Ritual but decided to use the traditional summoning circle that he found in the back of the grimoire. He knew that even though he had a book to help him with his magic, he still needed a teacher to help him and while he wanted to do Tamamo No Mae, her magic wouldn't be the best so he decided to go with a True Magic user.
Medea. The Magus from the Age of the Gods. The Witch of Colchis. And the Witch of Betrayal.
He knew that it was a risk summoning her but he knew that Medea was weak to hand to hand combat which would work in his favor if she resisted.
He took a dagger that he found in the trash and pricked his finger. He let a single drop of blood hit the circle causing it to shine even brighter. He then raised his hands above the circle and began his chant.
"Let silver and steel be the essence. Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation. Let red be the color I pay tribute to. Let rise a wall against the wind that shall fall. Let the four cardinal gates close. Let the three-forked road from the crown reaching unto the Kingdom rotate."
The wind began to pick up as the circle began to glow brighter which temporarily blinded him but he still continued the chant.
"Let it be filled. Again. Again. Again. Again. Let it be filled fivefold for every turn, simply breaking asunder with every filling."
Issei chanted and as he spoke he poured more and more of his magic into the circle. There was a reason for this. Even if it was his first Servant, he was going big in summoning the highest of the servant types and he wanted to make sure she was at full power.
Finally the circle flashed one last time before his eyes were blinded by a crimson light. While Issei was rubbing his eyes he heard the words he had been wanting to hear this whole time.
"My. My. To think a simple child such as you could summon me." Spoke a sultry voice.
Issei looked past the smoke to see a woman standing in the middle of the circle before she flew towards him and leaned down to look at his face. She cupped his cheeks and smiled.
"Oh my. You are rather cute, my Master." The Servant cooed playfully.
She smiled with her purple lipstick before she helped Issei up to his feet and brushed his shoulders of the dust. He saw that she was wearing a hooded bluish-purple robe that seemed to hide away all of her figure.
Issei then decided to introduce himself. "Hello. My name is Issei Hyoudou and yes. I am your master and the one who summoned you. Please tell me your real name. There's no need to tell me your class since there is no Holy Grail War."
The Servant was shocked at this revelation and looked around her to see that the earth was different with her thoughts as following. 'So the Age of the Gods never left this world and Gaia's presence is completely absent. There are also many races inhabiting this world and Heroic spirits are not the top of the food chain. Interesting. This boy may be the most interesting master I've had.'
The Servant reached a hand up and pulled back her hood, revealing a face of elf-like beauty complete with pointy ears.
"My name is Medea of Colchis." The revealed Medea, one of the greatest mages in mythology introduced. "That is who I am. It's a pleasure to meet you, my Master."
Issei smiled in reply as he nodded. "I'm happy to have you as my master but please don't call me Master in public. People will get the wrong idea."
Medea giggled at his response and nodded. "Understandable. Now I do believe we should summon a...friend of mine so we can have some protection."
Issei rose a brow and asked. "Another Servant? Wouldn't they be too weak since you are a Servant yourself?"
Medea shook her head as she used her own version of a summoning circle. "No. Not like that. I know of a Servant who is an acquaintance of mine and can be of assistance to us. Her Noble Phantasm will offer us protection, a fortress to defend and fight against enemies, as well as a workshop to craft items for you to use in battle."
She smiled as the circle began to shine brightly until a figure appeared.
"Servant, Assassin-class. My name is Semiramis. Now then...first, you must prepare a throne for me."
Issei looked at the Dark but Wise Queen of Assyria. She wore her dark attire that made her look terrifying but beautiful which complimented her ears and amber eyes that amazed him to no end. Where Medea was more fair like a maiden, Semiramis held a noble beauty that was as sharp as a knife.
"Semiramis. Her Noble Phantasm is a literal fortress." Medea said as the Assassin looked at the witch.
"I must say, I am surprised to see you are the one who summoned me." Semiramis spoke to Medea. "I'm assuming that the boy behind you is the one who summoned you Witch?"
Medea nodded as she gestured towards Issei. "Yes. He is the one who summoned me. I believed that with your Noble Phantasm and our skills we could assist our Master in this new world. Plus he has potential to become an incredibly powerful Magus. So will you help me?"
Semiramis looked at the boy and sensed the magic in him before she smiled happily. "Very well but he shall be my Master. Not you."
Medea agreed as she pulled out Rule Breaker and looked at Issei. "Shall we Master?"
Issei nodded as Medea gave him complete control of Semiramis's Command Seals.
Issei looked at the two and nodded. "If we are going to use Semiramis's Noble Phantasm then we will need to find an area where we can allow the Noble Phantasm to be created. From what I recall in the grimoire it takes three days for the Noble Phantasm to be completed. I may have an idea in mind but since we're in Japan it might take some time."
Semiramis looked at Issei and then patted his head. "We can deal with that later, but for now I do believe it's best we leave this place and make sure no one is around to see what has occurred here."
Issei nodded as Medea's cloak opened up and consumed the three of them and just like that the two women and the boy disappeared leaving an empty warehouse behind them. The ritual circle dispersed in blue molten lights and left behind no trace of it, as the familiars and master left for home.
For the supernatural world, the ritual did not go unnoticed but it was soon forgotten as it seemed to have no impact on their current life and duties. For those that did try to find and investigate the ritual they were met with dead ends as master and familiar were long gone leaving behind an empty warehouse.
Truly Fate had played its part now all that was left was for the boy to follow the set path.
"I must say that this issue will truly be an interesting one. Heheheh."
The Next Day
Semiramis and Medea had used Hypnosis magic on Issei's parents so that they wouldn't be alarmed at the two older women inside of their son's room. Issei was surprised by how calm his parents were about the other two women in the Hyoudou home but it was okay with Issei since he wanted to learn how to better use his magic and how powerful his servants are since magic is in the air and all around them.
After breakfast, Issei and his servants went to the Kuoh Forest where he was sure Semiramis could start creating her Noble Phantasm since it required the earth to create and build her Noble Phantasm. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon: Aerial Garden of Vanity is the garden of Semiramis and her strongest and largest-scaled Noble Phantasm that she proudly owned. It was a giant floating fortress capable of housing thousands of soldiers, assembled with systematically ordered floating masses, covered in floors of marble, stone balconies, many pillars, and every kind of plant life entangled and intertwined. It also contained a throne room used as its main means of control, which allowed Semiramis to cause it to activate by touching a large jewel on her throne's armrest.
When Issei asked how they could hide such a monstrosity, Medea cryptically answered Bounded Fields. Mainly her Bounded Fields made by her hands, which were works of art themselves to hide away the massive fortress.
Semiramis sat on a large stone that was smooth and comfortable for her liking while Medea floated in the air as she spoke to her master. "Master. From what you have explained to me about your magic, I believe it's appropriate name should be Impact since your Origin seems to rely on your body. After seeing your magic, I've concluded that it all comes down to what is the concept of "Impact". It's not as simple as a fist hitting a wall. An impact is anything that makes contact with a "meaningful" force behind it. It can be similar to a bump on the shoulder, a touch on a wall, a knock on a door, or even the fist punching as it is "impacting" the air. With this Disassemble Element you have within you, you can break down any defense which potentially makes any defense-type magic useless against you. It's interesting how your being possesses some similarities to my own Rule Breaker."
Issei was absorbing all of the information Medea spoke to him as he nodded and wrote it on a notepad he brought with him just in case he had to forgotten something important. Medea smiled at her master's interest in his magic and remembered his dream which made the witch laugh internally at the pervert's dream. The same was said for Semiramis, who to this day chuckled heartily when in the mood for some amusement for herself. Both of them knew their master was going to lead an interesting life unlike any other magus with such a bizarre dream.
Most of them desired money, power, fame, and a fancy title but this boy only wished to become stronger to take on any threat the supernatural throws at him, protect his loved ones, and gain a harem of women to love and cherish.
"You truly are a strange boy, Master." Semiramis mused, entertained by Medea messing with Issei a bit as she smiled at them both. "Perhaps this boy will be an interesting master to stay with."
She then walked to the two and joined in their fun. None of the three didn't know what would become of their future. One thing they knew was that they wouldn't hesitate to help each other.
Two Weeks Later.
"Must we really go through with this Master? Medea and I are more than enough to defend the Hanging Gardens. And thanks to your Sacred Gear, the Dragon Tooth Soldiers are much stronger now." Semiramis asked
She and Medea were helping Issei prepare the ritual for a massive summon since he needed some extra help in using his magic as well as summoning more servants to assist them in defending the Garden that served both as their Magus Workshop and their fortress.
"Semi-Chan. It's not like I doubt both of your skills. All I'm saying is that we'll need more allies to help us defend our base, workshop, and teammates to help me in case I'm in trouble. I know that Night Reflection is a powerful Sacred Gear and works well with my Impact Magic but I'm going to need more help in the long run." Issei explained as Semiramis understood his reasons for doing this but that didn't mean she had to like the idea of having more servants take her masters time away from her. She in fact enjoyed speaking to the young Magus in training and helped him with either his spells he tried to master or his Sacred Gear Training that was frustrating since he could only control the shadows around him.
Night Reflection does have an interesting ability to absorb attacks by using the shadows and redirecting them in whichever direction the wielder wishes from any shadow within the Sacred Gear's area of influence. It can also change the form of the user's shadow to create weapons for attacking enemies, forming a shadow barrier to shield around the user and others, the user can also submerge themselves within the shadows and reappear out of others. One of the most promising abilities is that it can entangle the user's enemies by binding their movement with their own shadow or other shadows around them.
The Balance Breaker was also an interesting power that the Night Reflection has since it creates a black shadow armor that covers the user's body. The Balance Breaker allows them to become one with the shadow, thus gaining its intangible properties: allowing physical attacks pass right through him, although the wielder is susceptible to most forms of energy (such as heat and cold). The user can also shape parts of their shadow body into a blade and tentacles that can bind his opponents. In addition, the user still retains the ability to manipulate shadows as it absorbs attacks using shadows and redirects the attack at enemies.
Semiramis and Medea were amazed by the Sacred Gear but were annoyed that the Balance Breaker drains the user of more stamina. That led to Medea hatching an idea of how she could possibly use her Noble Phantasm to remove the Sacred Gear and modify it so that Issei can use its abilities to the fullest. It was lucky Issei summoned her as his Sacred Gear was tied to his soul. Any method other than Rule Breaker would have resulted in Issei's death by extraction of the Sacred Gear.
Eventually, the trio was able to make sure that the summoning circle was ready for the summoning of the others to assist them.
Issei was about to begin the ritual until Medea came to his side. "Master. Before you begin I wanted to tell you that I took the liberty of modifying your Sacred Gear to give you an edge in our future battles. Also that little side project you asked me about? I was able to complete it. Care to try them on?" She said as she made a large present appear before Issei.
Issei looked at Semiramis and Medea before unwrapping the present and looked to see that there were a couple of things inside of it.
The first was a dark cloak that Issei put over his body which made his entire being coated in the shadows. The cloak itself was similar to Medea's Cloak but instead of the purple color it was black as the night. Issei could feel the shadows cover his face and his entire body as he looked at a full body mirror to see that the cloak made his entire body intangible like a shadow.
Issei was amazed by the cloak's abilities until he looked at the next gift. It was a dagger of larger than average size with the blade portion being as long as his forearm, and looked to be made of black iron with some etching of silver along the blade and some decorating the handle like a coiling snake.. There was no guard between the blade and the hilt, which was large enough to be held in one hand easily. The blade itself was curved, taking the image of a fang.
Issei held it in his hands tightly, feeling a deep connection between himself and the dagger. A pulse of his prana was sent to the weapon, and Issei smiled how the dagger readily accepted his magic. He then swung it towards the wall with the dagger infused with his Crash Magic, sending out a wave of shadows that destroyed the wall. Medea with a flick of her hand easily repaired the damage.
"This cloak is Iraoi no Hoyo: Embrace of Shade." Medea explained her newest creations. "That is the name of this cloak since it has the ability to also 'Disassemble' light in order to allow your identity to be hidden. As for your Night Reflection, you can now use its full abilities without using your Balance Breaker. I call it a Sacred Phantasm or Ikihagane which allows you to use your Crash Magic with the shadows. Think of the shadows as extensions of yourself instead of always relying on your fists. You can use the shadows to extend the reach and impact of your Crash Magic."
Issei smiled in awe at the cloak and his new Sacred Phantasm until he pulled out a box with about 30 daggers which made him smile as he looked at them.
"The Origin Daggers. They can still use my magic?" Issei asked.
Medea nodded as she summoned a Dragon Tooth Soldier as a target for him. Issei readied one of his daggers and threw it at the skeleton. As the knife made impact with the soldier it was blown apart as the dagger touched its chest. The remains of the skeleton and the dagger fell to the ground which Issei picked it up and looked it over to find no damage to it.
"Impressive. Thank you Medea." Issei praised.
Medea smiled in joy at her master's praise for her skills until she pointed to the box.
"Those armored arms you showed me in that anime of yours, Bleach, with that man named Chad used are almost completed." Medea informed. "I was able to understand the functions of both of the arms. The Right Arm of the Giant relies on absorbing power and then releasing it in a powerful punch. Similar to the shield and spear concept, while the Left Arm of the Demon relies solely on offense. I am still trying to figure out how to properly create them so they can have the same abilities and can aid you in battle. For now, their in the testing phase so for now it's best you train in using your Sacred Phantasm and fighting with your daggers along with Iraoi no Hoyo."
Issei nodded in thanks to both Medea and Semiramis as Issei began the chant. The five summoning circles began to glow red until they were enveloped in shadows as Issei poured more magic into them to make sure the servants summoned were at full power.
Let silver and steel be the essence.
Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation.
Let Red be the color I pay tribute to.
The circles began to shine bright red as the shadows covered the figures that's slowly rose from the circles.
Let rise a wall against the wind that shall fall.
Let the four cardinal gates close.
Let the three-forked road from the crown reaching unto the Kingdom rotate.
The figures began to rise even higher as the shadows covered them.
Let it be declared now; your flesh shall serve under me, and my fate shall be with your sword.
Submit to the beckoning of the Holy Grail.
Answer, if you would submit to this will and this truth.
An oath shall be sworn here.
I shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven;
I shall have dominion over all evils of all of Hell.
The wind began to pick up as the circles began to glow even brighter which temporarily blinded Issei for a moment but he still continued the chant. Medea and Semiramis kept an eye on the circles as the servants were almost here.
Yet you shall serve with your eyes clouded by chaos.
For you would be one caged in madness.
I shall wield your chains.
From the Seventh Heaven, attended to by three great words of power.
Come forth from the ring of restraint, protector of the holy balance!
Finally the circles flashed one last time before his eyes were blinded by a bright crimson light. As the light dimmed down, Issei was rubbing his eyes and blinked a few times to make sure he could still see until he heard the words he was happy to hear from the circles.
"Are you my Master?"
The Path of a Magus is filled with hardships. Issei knew that but with his servants and magic, he knew that we would be ready.
End.
I know this was long but I got some help from the author D'nnome when it came to making Issei's magic. The Impact Origin is due to Issei being a Brawler and the Disassemble Element is due to his Dress Break. Combine both and you have a version of Gildarts Crash Magic. I also gave Issei the Night Reflection so he could have some reach besides his fists and since he has the Origin Daggers and cloak it makes him more of an Assassin.
Issei's Main class will be a Caster and his Sub Classes will be an Assassin and Saber later on as he trains with his new skills and abilities.
Skill (Caster Exclusive if Issei was summoned as Caster):
-Grimoire of Magic (Solomon) - Rank A - A guiding tome of knowledge written by the King of Magic, Solomon. It is filled with such extensive knowledge with the purpose of allowing an upcoming magus to become the founder of his own magi lineage. Issei can use this tome in order to review spell control and creation. (In-game, would increase his arts and NP meter gain.) In the back are the instructions added by a user of the Second Magic to summon Servants. However, in a Holy Grail War Issei can only summon one Spirit in the case not all of the classes have been summoned much like a certain other Caster. In the Grand Order, this has no function.
Also as for Issei's servants here they are.
Lancer: Cu Chulainn or Diarmuid.
Archer: Atalanta or Arjuna.
Saber: Altera or Faerie Knight Gawain.
Caster: Medea.
Rider: Medusa or Habetrot.
Assassin: Semiramis.
Berserker: Kiyohime
Who do you think should be his Servants. I'll still include Sasaki Kojiro and another Assassin as Issei's personal guards but these are his main servants. Vote and let me know if it should live or not.
As for the Class Cards my partner and I already have a few suggestions and slowly end surely we'll reveal the class cards but I wanted Issei to find others who will join him. Now one of them has already found a host thanks to the Troll but Issei will need to find the others to join his faction. The Heroic Spirits Faction.
Here's a little sneak peek at one of the other Class Card users. For you see Issei doesn't have one Class Card. He doesn't have the Assassin because a certain troll gave another person the Assassin Card.
Kuoh Town.
Unknown Neighborhood.
Our resident Magus had an admirer who was well aware of the supernatural and her lovers interest in the supernatural along with magic. She had been cautious in watching her boyfriend from afar when they weren't together and kept a close eye on any disgusting females who dared try to lay a finger on her boyfriend.
The girl in question was staring at the many, many, many pictures of her boyfriend on the ceiling and hugged a pillow that had her lovers picture on it. She breathed deeply into the pillow as she sighed happily at the scent of her lover entering her nostrils. Now a normal person would call this stalking but this girl took it to a whole new level.
She looked at her phone and saw the text she received from her lover. Her dark purple hair was sprawled all over her pillow as she then looked at the card in her hand that she received in a letter a few years ago. It was addressed to her and it surprised her to find out that the envelope had a small letter and the card of the Assassin.
At first she was suspicious about the card but after the card had accepted her, the Assassin card had been a blessing for her ever since she learned of her soulmates activities outside of school. She closed her eyes and went to sleep as she dreamt of the day that the two met and how she fell in love with the Antisocial Pervert.
Flashback
Yachiru was behind her middle school and shoved against the wall as the girls that picked on her came up to her with a dark look on their faces. Yachiru was scared since she wasn't a very violent person and didn't want to fight but there was nothing she could do against the bullies since was much weaker than them. She may be from a family of magicians but she had no magical powers to help her. All she had to help her was her beautiful body. Her skin was pale like snow, her long hair that went below her shoulders and eyes were both a dark shade of purple, her assets were on par with another purple haired girl she's seen at a shrine in Kuoh Town.
She was raised by her family to be a good girl and yet even with her mannerisms she was still bullied by others ever since day one. Many guys tried to flirt with her but she turned each of them down since she could see it in their eyes. The ill intentions that they had in mind and what they would do to her should she even be alone with them.
The girls in her school were no better since they bullied her by calling her names, writing on her desk crude words, ruining her clothes with dirt, trash, or water, but today. Today they really mean business.
The leader was another girl who was part of the group that hated her due to her looks and made sure she was miserable. She came up to Yachiru and pulled out some scissors and smiled. "Hey don't worry. I'm just trimming that long hair of yours. Short hair is better anyways." Yachiru didn't even put up a struggle as she let them do whatever they wanted to do to her. The leader cut her hair and gave her a shoddy job of a haircut as if she intentionally did that.
The leader smiled at her personal plaything before she looked at her comrades and nodded. "Now do it." The others nodded as they pushed her to the ground and began to kick her relentlessly. Yachiru covered her head to avoid getting hurt even more but it didn't matter since they stopped after a short time and brought out different soda cans of different flavors.
Yachiru just kept her eyes closed and waited for the soda, until they began to dump the soda on the poor girls head. The soda stained both her school uniform and her hair which made her clench her fists. 'Why? Just why do I deserve this? What did I do in a past life to deserve this? Am I just supposed to be a victim for the rest of my life? No one even looks at me due to my weaknesses. I have no magic. No strength. No friends. Heck even my own family pushes me away since I'm the Black Sheep of the family.'
She closed her eyes tighter as she remembered allI of the abuse, the beatings, the insults, everything. It just made her...
'I just...I just want to die. Maybe in my next life I'll actually have a family and friends.'
Yachiru just waited for them to finish their daily beating until a yell stopped them.
"Hey you leave her alone!"
The girls and Yachiru looked to see a black haired boy with his arms crossed on his chest and brown eyes stare at them all before he took a recorder and hit the play button on it.
Yachiru and the girls were shocked to hear what was on the recorder.
'That girl will never have any friends. She's just a introverted weirdo.'
'I heard her own family just rejects her. So much for little miss perfect.'
'That purple haired freak show of a girl will never actually have any friends or even a real family since it would just be better if she took a swan dive off the roof and died.'
The boy hit the pause button as he looked at them all with a stoic face before he spoke in a deep and mature voice. "I thought, that the least I could do was to gather the evidence so I could make my case before the principal and the teachers."
The leader was shocked as she stuttered. "What? You? How?"
"What? You? How? Sorry I don't know that language? Can you speak in one of the seven languages I do know?" Issei said mockingly as he looked at the leader with narrowed eyes before he went to Yachiru and pushed the other girls away as he helped her up and took her to where he was standing before looking at the leader of the group.
"Before you throw a little hissy fit, know that I'm not hesitating to show the evidence to the entire student body and the student council. Not only did you abuse their authority to gather personal information on Yachiru but you also abused her both physically, emotionally, as well as mentally. Oh and before you try to say anything know that if this isn't enough proof, I have Matsuda and Motohama with even more incriminating evidence that not only shows your abuse of the Student Councils resources but also that you would've allowed a group of boys to bang gang this poor girl and scarred her for life."
Issei glared at the leader as her posse went backwards until Matsuda and Motohama came out of the other side of the school building and revealed a camera in their hands along with a dog that was growling at them daring them to try and run away. Issei saw their fear and replied. "You see Matsuda's father is a Boxing coach and a police officer. As for Motohama, his father and mother are wizards in the tech world since they work for a company that specializes with improving and creating new gadgets. My family may seem boring, unlike you and the others here at our school but the Perverted Trio's families actually get along rather well due to our fathers and mothers being old classmates up until college."
The leader looked at Issei with hatred and laughed at him. "Oh please. Do you actually expect the teachers and the principal to listen to you? That old fart of a principal doesn't give a shit about protecting the students. In fact, my father allowed my friends and I to bring Justice to that girl just for her very existence. I mean look at her. Can you really call her human?" Yachiru was scared as she looked down at the ground until a comforting arm was wrapped around her shoulders as Issei looked at the leader with hatred as his eyes turned red.
"Being envious of her appearance is no reason to brutally bully a girl who's only trying to make some friends and find some form of happiness. So I'm going to make a little deal with you girls. Leave Yachiru alone and call off your dogs from the school and your little posse, or else we'll broadcast the video and the whole recording of what you and the others said to or about Yachiru. Oh. And before you try to threaten us with your father know that he's already being fired as we speak. An anonymous claim went to the school board of directors and claimed that the principal allows bullying and berating on just a single student which led to an investigation. They gathered enough evidence and thanks to the President of the Student Council and Motohama, we were able to gather even more information that some of the teachers downright ignored her cry for help."
The leader of the girls was gritting her teeth as she glared at Issei, who was strangely calm and passive as he looked at the leader. "So what'll it be? Either swallow your Pride and meet my demands or will we have to do this the hard way? Choose wisely." Issei said as he looked at the girls before the leader clenched her fists and yelled as she looked at him with pure hatred.
"DAMN YOU!"
She ran towards Issei with a right hook and punched his face. The girls, Matsuda, Motohama, and Yachiru were in shock as Issei just stood there and took that punch to the face which didn't even make his head turn. The leader was in shock as Issei raised his left hand and flicked her forehead with so much force it made her fly back a few feet and made her stumble on the ground.
Issei came up to her which made the girls worry that Issei would do something to her as the leader covered her head and closed her eyes in fear of what the Antisocial Pervert would do to her.
Until...
"Get up. Quit your crying. You brought this on yourself."
The leader looked in shock as Issei just stood there above her until he reached out a hand towards her and nodded. "Take my hand and accept my terms. Do so and I'll make sure you don't get expelled. You and the others will probably just be suspended." The leader looked at the hand and looked down before she asked the man in front of her.
"Why? Why are you trying to help me? I'm the bully here and she's the victim. Yet your trying to help me too. Why?" She looked at him with tears coming down her face until Issei helped her up and wiped her tears. "Because I can see you have the chance to change and become better than who you are. Also, I know that you may have bullied her but you prevented any of the guys trying to force her into a date. That shows you do have kindness in you. Which means you have a chance to become someone who protects and helps others rather than harm them. Now go. You and your posse should head home. Know you will be punished and I'll be keeping an eye on you all. Understood?"
The leader nodded as she and her group left the back of the school until Issei went to Matsuda and Motohama before he gave them the recorder. "Take this and make sure the School Board of Directors gets it. Thanks again you guys. I couldn't have pulled this off without you."
Matsuda and Motohama shrugged their shoulders before Motohama explained. "What are friends for? Best you go check on Yachiru. She looks like she needs you more than ever."
Issei looked at Yachiru and nodded as he walked towards her and took a towel out of his bag. "Come on. Let's get you cleaned up. Is that okay with you Yachiru?" Yachiru nodded as she simply followed Issei to the schools showers in the gym while Issei waited for her outside. Yachiru cleaned herself off and was surprised by the efforts that Issei had made to save her from the bullying but also to stop the bully himself. It reminded her of a Hero she saw in an anime of how he not only protected the innocent people but also tried to help the villains see the error of their ways.
Yachiru looked at the clean school uniform that Issei gave to her so she could change out of her old and dirty school uniform. "Excuse me but Hyoudou-Senpai. Can I ask you a question?" She called out to him, hoping he was still there and was relieved to hear the reply from him.
"Of course. I'm still here. Don't worry, I'm not going to peek at you. You've been through enough for one day." Issei replied to her which made her sigh in relief until Yachiru breathed deeply and asked.
"Why did you save me? Were you hoping to impress someone?"
She closed her eyes and waited for his reply which didn't come in an instant until she heard a laugh from the outside of the showers which made her look to see Issei laugh at the question he was asked which made Yachiru's face red until she yelled back. "Are you making fun of me? It's not funny." She pouted angry at Issei until he stopped with tears in his eyes.
"Okay. Okay. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It's just your question took me by surprise." Issei calmed his breathing as he looked at the door and smiled. "Well if you must know, it's because I wanted to stop the bullying. You see I had my fair share of bullies as well. When I was little around 10 years old, my old childhood friend moved away from Kuoh Town which left me depressed and alone for awhile since he was the only friend I had. Heck he was my best friend, who had an odd quirk since he always went to the girls bathroom which surprisingly the other girls didn't mind. Anyway, I met an odd but interesting man who put on quite a show of a puppet show and I was so invested into the story that I even went with it. Over the next five years, I wanted to become a Hero that protected the little guys but not with brute force. I wanted to be able to pacify the situation before it exploded into something even worse than the after effects. I could tell you've been through a lot back home and your life which drove you to suicide. Am I wrong?"
Yachiru came out of the showers in her new clothes while drying her head off until she just nodded at Issei before Issei sighed and asked. "Would you mind coming with me to my home tonight? You look like you've hardly even eaten much less slept on a real bed." Yachiru looked up and tried to deny the offer until Issei used the towel on her head and dried it even more before he looked at her purple eyes. "Hmm...those eyes of yours are quite beautiful. They remind me of gems but even brighter."
Yachiru looked down and shook her head. "Please stop. Stop trying to make me feel better. I know that most guys want me for my body. Even you would want me for my body. I know of your reputation." Issei sighed as he nodded with a smile.
"True. I am a pervert but then again all boys my age are perverts, however I made a vow to myself. To always treat women fairly. I can ogle them, maybe perve on them, but I shall never violate them. But to belittle them? To demean them for stuff you think they can't do? If a person were to pull shit like that in front of me and all they'll do is make me even more pissed off." Issei explained as Yachiru listened intently to his words. She could see that while Issei is a pervert he sets standard for himself. Issei then led Yachiru out of the school and asked her. "The offer still stands. You can come to my home and get some warm food, and a warm bed or you can walk alone at night and possibly be attacked by another student which I'm sure you don't want to happen to you, correct?"
Yachiru nodded in agreement with Issei as she replied. "Alright. I'll accept your terms." Issei smiled at her warmly and patted her head. "It's no trouble at all my little Lily-Chan."
Yachiru was surprised at the nickname and asked. "What was that? Where did Lily Chan come from?"
Issei rose a brow and explained. "The Purple Perennial Japanese Lily. I thought it suited your hair and eyes since they have the same purple shade of the flowers plus I see you as a flower. A beautiful flower that hasn't fully bloomed yet. I think that with a little confidence along with some tender love and care, your sure to bloom into a beautiful flower."
Yachiru was surprised at his explanation and couldn't help but blush at his words and explanation before she grabbed his left hand and asked. "C-Can I please hold your hand? I...I feel safer this way." Issei smiled warmly at her and nodded.
"Yachiru. You can hold my hand as long as you prefer. If you need a reason to live then I'll be that reason." Issei stood in front of Yachiru and hugged her before he whispered in her ears. "I'll become your hero and protect you. No matter what. I'll become your friend."
Yachiru couldn't help but cry tears of joy as she just released it all. All of her frustrations. All of her sadness. All of her hatred. She let go of it all as she cried into his arms hugged him tightly as if she was afraid he would disappear if she let him go. Issei didn't say anything as he hugged Yachiru and softly rubbed circles on her back.
'I'll never let this girl suffer again. I will protect her and make sure she's happy. She was so beautiful and happy when she smiled which is why I promise. Yachiru. I will make sure your happy and that you will never get bullied or that you never hurt yourself. I won't let this girl end up dead. I already lost one best friend. I'm not going to let this girl cry because of me.'
Thus began the night that the Lily was saved by the rain. The rain that came in the form of Issei Hyoudou. Her Hero.
Ever since that day, Yachiru spent more time with Issei and his family. She did talk to Issei's friends but she preferred to spend more time with Issei rather than the other two. The other two were friends but she enjoyed being closer to Issei than anyone else. Yachiru enjoyed being around the Hyoudou Family and felt the warmth of a mother and father that she hasn't felt in a long, long time.
The day she accidentally called Mrs. Hyoudou mom was the happiest day of the Hyoudou households life since she saw Yachiru as her own daughter. Issei's mother wanted to adopt the girl but Yachiru shook her head since she wanted to enjoy the mornings of walking to the household and greeting them like she always did.
The Hyoudou family didn't mind and respected her wishes which led to Yachiru learning how to cook and help out around the house while she helped Issei with his schoolwork. Yachiru giggled at Issei's failed attempts to study but was amazed at his interest in the supernatural world. Issei was shocked to hear that Yachiru was from a magician family until she sadly admitted that she didn't have any magic due to being a black sheep in her family.
Issei didn't mind that and told her that it made her unique. Yachiru was amazed at Issei's interest in the supernatural and helped however she could, until the day those two women came into Issei's life.
She was still in awe at Medea and Semiramis who were servants of Issei's which made her feel inadequate since she believed that Issei would no longer want her around until Issei gave her a head butt and called her an idiot for thinking of something like that.
Yachiru was in awe as Issei still wanted her to spend time with him and his family. Medea smiled as she looked at the girl and nodded that she didn't mind Yachiru along with Semiramis. Yachiru was surprised by their acceptance of her very existence until Medea pulled her aside and explained that she understood what Yachiru went through. Semiramis saw that the girl was infatuated with her master but didn't mind since she was very interested in the girl since she had a strange magic in her that felt like a Heroic Spirts was inside of her.
Yachiru smiled at the idea of being with Issei more and more as she looked at the pictures of Issei in her cellphone. She looked at her home and smiled happily as a strange aura enveloped her which made her smile turn sinister but happy at the same time.
She entered her home and as she looked at her parents and siblings who tossed her aside were sleeping in the living room, her body began to change as she became more muscular and thin, her hair became longer that it reached to her rear, her eyes were a darker shade of purple as her shadow grew as others came out of the shadow before a dagger appeared in her hands. Yachiru smiled at her reflection before walking to her family.
"Issei-kun and I will need a place to stay once we are married."
She went behind her mothers body and covered her mouth as her mother looked at her in shock until Yachiru closed her eyes and smiled innocently.
"Sorry Mother but can you please die for me?"
The next day it was reported that Yachiru was the heiress of her family's fortune and home as stated in the will. At the funeral, Issei was there at her side until they departed the service. Yachiru smiled as she hugged Issei's arm which made her feel warm and happy.
'The only reason I wanted them gone was because they wouldn't accept Issei. So I had to dispose of them.'
While they were walking away, no one noticed the smile and the light in her eyes as she flipped her family as they were being buried.
'Bye. Bye. My old family.'
Yachiru: the Yandere. Assassin Class. Has awakened.
End Flashback.
The card went into her body and as it did, her skin became dark grey, muscular, and her clothes changed to a strange style of clothing that made her giggle as her short purple hair grew longer. The girls eyes opened as the girl yawned and stood up from her bed before stretching her whole body.
"Ah!~ That's better." She looked at the moon and smiled at the night sky before she opened her window and felt the wind blow her hair as the moonlight made her even more beautiful. "Issei Hyoudou. I will ensure you are safe from those who dare try to harm you."
She then looked at a picture of another girl in her hand. The girl was a brown haired girl with twin tails and brown eyes before taking out a knife and stabbing it multiple times before she glared at the girl in the photo.
"Murayama. I'll make sure you don't taint my husband with your disgusting Devil stench. Because if any of those devils even think of touching him with their filthy hands." She grinned happily as her eyes glowed sinisterly as she finished her sentence. "I'll kill them all."
The one who has the Assassin card is Yachiru, the Yandere. She was a powerless magician who was in a family that consisted of magicians that were well skilled but instead of inheriting her family's magic, she inherited her mother's beauty which made other women and girls envy the young girl since they couldn't believe a child had such a ravenous beauty. As for her appearance, primarily Sakura Matou and the Asako-persona of the Hundred Faces when she goes out at night, but during moments of sadness it's the Child Assassin-persona instead of the Asako-persona.

Next new story: The Kama of Kaguya, the Gods Crimson Champion, and the Dragon Maid Kobayashi DXD.
Oh and for this story I plan on using the Apocrypha 1st OP song for some fun especially when I use this in the Isseiverse story.
The Kama of Kaguya: Kaguya made a last ditch effort to ensure her survival by using the list Kama technique to send her soul and powers to another in a new dimension where she won't have her sons or ninjas to worry about. Now Issei Hyoudou, Age 10 is now the Kama of the Rabbit Goddess. How will he deal with a large woman with Snow White hair and three eyes, a Fox princess who wants Issei to join her faction, and a few Shinto Gods who are interested in the boys powers.
The Gods Crimson Champion.
A Konosuba DXD story. Issei Hyoduou will be receiving different training that takes on the form of Eris and Aqua enlisting Issei to reestablish the God Alliance to defeat the Konosuba God of Death and Underworld: Baphomet and his Generals. Issei Hyoudou, the Dragon Knight and his comrades, YunYun the shy Mage who wants friends, Wiz the Lich who's trying to protect humans from the Demon Army, Darkness a masochistic Crusader who wants to defend people and fulfill her desires.
Issei Hyoudou's Dragon Maid
Issei was enjoying a normal life in his high school life but now a girl appears at his door saying she's eternally in his gratitude and wishes to become his maid of the house. Issei Hyoudou's normal boring life is suddenly crazy since he has Tohru, Kanna, and Ilulu living with him as well as dealing with Fallen, Angels, and a crimson devil who will not leave him alone. Issei will be his canon self but will be accepting of the Dragons since his Sacred Gear is a Longinus but it's not the Boosted Gear, the Divine Dividing, or the Vritra Sacred Gear.
Until next time. Bye!
