In the suburbs of the city of São Paulo, a young boy ran up to a home in tears. The boy had brown hair and hazel eyes. He wore a blue puffy zip up jacket, a pair of blue pants, and black and white shoes.
He opened the front door and ran inside and slammed the door behind him. The boy sprints into his room and slams the door behind him. He jumped face first onto the bed and began to cry uncontrollably. A few minutes later the door opens and a woman walks in, seeing the sobbing boy.
The woman had Hazel eyes and long black hair. She wore a tan turtle collared sweater and blue jeans.
"Sweety, are you okay?" the woman asked.
"Th-the... o-ther kids at sch-ool... they stole m-my lunch... Th-ey all p-push m-me... and k-kick me. A-and c-all me a weirdo..." the boy sobbed.
The mother walked over and sat on the bed next to her young son and began stroking her son's back.
"M-mom... Why d-do the... o-other k-k-kids make f-un of m-me...?" the boy asked.
"They probably just don't understand how special you are. There are people out there like you that are always picked on and that never stopped them from doing the stuff that they want to do," the mother answered.
The boy flips over and sits up to face his mother as he stops crying. The mother grabs the boy and sets him on her lap and embraces him into a comforting hug.
"Mom, when will the other kids stop teasing me?" the boy asked.
"It may not be today. It may not be tomorrow. But one day, they will see how wrong they are and appreciate you for who you are," the mother answered.
"Do you really think so?" the son asked.
"I promise," the mother answered.
The boy hugs his mom as she kisses him on the head.
"I love you, mommy," the boy said.
The mother soothingly rubbed her son's back for a moment before speaking.
"I love you, my little Alexander Watson."

Fifteen years had passed and walking out of the same room was the boy who was now older. His undercut hair had been dyed green up top and blue on the sides. He's wearing a pair of dark blue jeans, a pair of black sneakers, a blue shirt and a brown zip-up hoodie. The boy walks into the kitchen and heads toward the refrigerator. He sees a note stuck to the refrigerator door buy a small magnet which read; 'Gone to work early. See you later tonight. -Dad.'
The boy sighed and opened the door and grabbed a milk carton. He set it on the counter and opened a cabinet above and grabbed a bowl. The boy set the bowl on the counter next to the milk carton and grabbed a cereal close by and poured it into the bowl. He then poured the milk into the bowl with the cereal and put the carton back into the refrigerator.
The boy took the bowl and set it onto the table next to a laptop. He sat down and opened his laptop and began to watch RWBY (Ruby) Volume 6 as he then began to eat his breakfast. A few minutes later, he heard a knock at the door, and then followed by a voice calling out.
"Yo, Watson! Are you in there?!"
The boy stood up from his chair and walked over to the front door. He opens the door and finds another boy around his age standing in front of him.
The second boy has long brown hair reaching down to his neck and dark green eyes. He wears a white sleeveless shirt, a pair of tan shorts, and a pair of black sneakers.
"Hey, Watson," the new boy greeted.
"Hey there, Lucas," the boy known as Watson replied to the other boy known as Lucas. "Come inside."
Lucas walks inside as Watson closes the door. He walks over to Watson's computer to see what was on.
"Watching RWBY again?" Lucas asked.
"What can I say? The show's awesome," Watson said.
"Ever since the pandemic, you've been cooped up in here this entire time. Shouldn't you get out and get some fresh air?" Lucas asked.
"I get out," Watson said.
"Yeah, at least once a month," Lucas scoffed. "I think it's high time you should get out of the house. Now come on."
Lucas grabs Watson by his arm and pulls him towards the front door.
Santa Cecilia
Several minutes have passed and Watson and Lucas were walking through the city with their facial masks on due to the COVID pandemic.
"It's nice to get out a little more right?" Lucas asked.
"Yeah," Watson sighed.
"What's the matter?" Lucas asked.
Watson sat onto a nearby bench as Lucas then sat next to him.
"Everything that had happened to me. I'm glad to be out of that hellhole people call school because everyone there beats on me and pushes me around to no end and the staff does very little to intervene all because I'm diagnosed with autism. I'm not sure what else to do at this point," Watson explained.
"Just because you're autistic, doesn't mean that your life is gonna be shit forever, Watson," Luca said. "Besides, I always show up to get you out of a jam."
"But you ended up becoming targeted just as much as me just for protecting me," Watson said.
"But you don't see me complaining about it. It was worth being your friend," Lucas said.
"But that's not all, it's been months since my mom died from COVID. and I still don't know what I'm gonna do without her. I barely see my dad a lot because he works all the time. I just wish something good would happen to me for once," Watson said.
"Look, I'm sorry your mother passed away, but you can't stay hiding in your dad's house forever. I mean, would she want you moping around like this?" Lucas said.
"No," Watson sighed.
"Exactly. So enough of hiding from the rest of the world," Lucas said.
Watson stared silently at his friend for a moment before giving out a small smile at him. They both stood up from the bench and looked across the street and noticed a girl walking down the sidewalk. She has dark green eyes, brown hair, and a light brown complexion. She wears a pink skirt, a sleeveless light blue shirt, and a pair of white boots. She also has on a pair of pearl earrings.
"Well, look who that is," Watson said.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. Yara Cardoso. The most popular girl at school. Everytime you see her, you won't stop goo-goo eyeing her. Sometimes I feel like you would even jerk off in the bathroom when you think about her sometimes," Lucas said.
Watson was silent and continued to stare at the girl known as Yara as she walked away and around the corner of a building.
"Hello? Earth to Watson? Are you there buddy?" Lucas asked, waving his hand back and forth in front of his friend's face.
Watson finally turned his head at Lucas.
"Sorry, I got a little distracted for a moment," he said.
"Dude, just talk to her," Lucas said.
"Lucas, you know I can't. Least popular kid here, remember?" Watson asked.
"Come on, stop being a negative nancy," Lucas said as he began pushing Watson toward Yara's direction.
"Okay! Fine! Fine! I'll talk to her!" Watson said.
Lucas stopped pushing his friend as Watson then began to run towards Yara. Just before he could run around the corner, a boy steps out from the corner, making Warson come to a stop. The boy has blue eyes and a violet mohawk. He wears a pair of grey shoes, a pair of dark blue jeans, and an olive green shirt.
"Well, what do we have here?" the boy asked with a smirk.
"Come on, Augusto. Give me a break," Watson said to the boy known as Augusto.
"It's been a while. Good thing you ran into me because you're behind on your bruising," Augusto said.
Two more boys walk out from the corner and quickly restrain Watson.
"And don't think I didn't see you staring at my Yara," Augusto said, then punches Watson in the stomach.
"She doesn't even like you. Everyone at school knows it," Watson groaned.
Augusto hurls a punch to Watson's face, then followed with another punch to his stomach. Before Augusto could punch Watson again, Lucas ran over and grabbed Augusto by his shoulders. He punches the bully in the face, and follows with kneeing him in the stomach as Augusto drops to his knees in pain. Lucas turns to the two boys holding Watson and pulls out a pocket knife and points it at them.
"You better let my friend go if you don't want to be in a hospital," Lucas threatened.
Without hesitation, the two boys release Watson as he drops to the ground. The two boys run away as Augusto gets up from the ground.
"The next time I see you and when Lucas isn't around, you're fucking dead!" Augusto yelled as he then ran away with his boys. Lucas puts away his pocket knife and pulls Watson up from the ground.
"You okay?" Lucas asked.
"Take me home please," Watson groaned.
"Watson-" Lucas gets cut off by his friend.
"Just take me home."
Lucas sighed and then he and Watson walked over to the nearest bus stop.
Watson Residence
Later at night, Watson laid on his bed in his dark bedroom wide awake. After a few moments he turns to his side and turns on the lamp on his night stand. next to his lamp was a picture of himself and his mother.
"I wish you're still here, mom," Watson said.
