Commander Room
isn't weird how in stories a nearly pitched black room represents a enemy or an ally that meets you within the time frame from a worst moment or best moment depends of how the story goes, well this is kust or a room near water... wonder how long till i die from drowsiness and finally sleep under water.
such thought is questionable as i vaguely remember other deaths of what? 10th? or 12th? alwell it does matter since I'm certain those memories should not be present at all. kinda awkward getting stared at from two pairs of calculative eyes burned to me yet i feel their waiting for me? probably not... no they are.
"Fathe- Commander"
rei felt the commander's eyes squinted as like glaring into her as she was going say father before correcting herself instantly.
"First child I'm sure you made that mistake accidentally but call me father since I'm sure you understand that the last three cycles were unintended thing made for the rebirth."
rei was shocked at how the comma - father is strangely more relaxed around here than before. now the question is why or maybe had to do with that red hair girl watching us... mostly me really.
"father.. father.. father... sorry I'm getting use to calling you that willfully but may i ask sir why? or matter of why let me call you father if I'm what of a clone."
rei blankly tilt her head to the side as she drifted to the familiar red head female that she can't remember the name of just watching.
"I'm sure this is out of regular since then but within each cycle all i try connecting to Yui end up back firing on me within reason of the third child mental state of betrayal, attacked, desperation, separation, and you helped him time after time cause of my treatment to both of you. don't go hoping of a 180% personality trait since that's not really possible."
rei's father gendo eyes soften abit but it's still cold.
'well at least I'm not the only one who apparently changed within the resets, still cold eyes yet not as cold before.'
"I understand father..."
rei felt the entrance door open behind and glance back then to her again as if the silent message was enough to tell what to do. of course she followed the command with one last look to the other female follow her out the door.
Rei apartment complex
The home you always thought would look marvelous for a pilot of an evangelion with good life of money and all that shitty fancy items you love to get but sadly in some way rei barely mind being the one of few residents of their complex even if concrete is quite cold during the winter.
rei pad through the open hallway passing by faded doors to reach hers as she ignore the overflowing mail slot to push the door wide open and pace to her bathroom ignoring the red girl when passed through.
the girl momently gaze rei to the other room as she heard water flow and drift her focus the sorrounding area of ajared dresser of same style clothes of school wear and undergarments. the dust collect on top while the trash bin filled with crap though there's glasses that the commander wear with one lens missing not broken,confusing part for her was the lack of bottles of prescribed pills with two only laying sideways.
walking to a nearby broken mirror the girl see her reflecting off of and seen the long red hair flowing down to her mid-section all scruffy as a worn cat eared that looks it seen better days resting inside the hood.
She adjusts the coal eye patch a bit in her right eye while a blue eye eyed two lined scar on her top left ear. a green long baggy sweater rest over her body with the imprinting of S0-2 over her left breast and the initial of Asuka-L.S lay inside top right zipper.
Water. The flow of water slowly fade to a stop as wet feet paddered into the room to show a naked rei and a towel covering only her breasts tad bit with everything else in the open. Asuka cheeks flared pink a little as she watch rei travel to her bed to be amazed of a white shirt and blue shorts appear in rei's hands, asuka eyed things randomly waiting till rei is finish in few minutes.
Rei pulled her head out of the shirt as she see the the red head toy with a spear necklace around the neck though it look familiar she can't put her finger on it, the pillow isn't as bad as most expect when she slowly fall asleep as she gaze to the girl sitting against the wall staring at her barefeet and close her eyes as the last thing she heard one last thing before darkness take over.
"Asuka... it's me wonder girl, dummkopf.
