Welcome to the new story!
For those not aware of the poll I did or happen to come across this story without any prior knowledge, this is a story of my Oc gaining One For All, essentially a Izuku replacement, and nothing against Izuku, it's just for this kind of story it wouldn't make sense for him to be around, so without anything else to say, lets begin the chapter!
Prologue!
"...T-Tenko..."
A young boys voice called out. Having fully raven black hair besides one little strand of blue that split down the middle of said hair, the young boy looked only around four years old. With a childlike appearance, he looked towards an older boy.
Looking rather similar, except the boy he faced was a little older than he was, and looked to have been crying.
"Tenko...did Daddy yell again…?"
"Y-Yeah..."
The young boy named Tenko let out a little cry, as the younger continued moving closer.
"D-Daddy did to me too..."
When the young boy got towards the one named Tenko, he bent down so they were eye level.
The older of the two, Tenko, peered at the younger boy, who had something in his hands.
It was a drawing.
A very simplistic one, since he was such a young child.
But it showed himself, and Tenko wearing Hero like costumes.
"T-Tenko, I made this, for, for you...to make you...smile...I like...when you, you smile..."
His speech was broken up due to him trying to keep quiet.
Tenko looked at the picture, before taking it with a pinch of his fingers, holding it close to his chest.
"Thank you...I love it..."
The younger of the two looked around Tenko's eyes, seeing his skin had dry patches.
"Do they...h-hurt?"
Tenko shook his head.
"They itch."
The young boy raised his hand and brushed Tenko's skin near his eyes with childlike curiosity, and as he did, Tenko's itch seemed to begin disappearing.
"Sore...big brother..." The younger looked at the image of the two that he drew, and then pointed to himself and Tenko. "...even tho, though Daddy doesn't want it...lets become...He, Hero's too..."
Tenko gave his little brother a soft smile, and took his hand.
"Yes...lets become the best Hero's, together." Tenko said, as he brought out what looked like a small plush toy of All Might. "Here...have this."
"W-Where did you get that? ...D-Daddy wouldn't l-let us have that..."
"I know you love Hero's...I found it, thrown out in the neighbor's trash, so I took it for you, and cleaned it...but hide it from Dad...okay?"
"Yes...thank you Tenko..."
The boys smiled at one another in a childlike manner as they embraced once another...
"Ugh...morning..."
A young teenager between the age of 13-14 years old pulled himself up off of the bed that looked like it had seen better days.
Having a slim frame with some muscle, soft yet manly facial features befitting that of a young teenager. Having ocean blue eyes, and predominately messy light sky blue hair with strands of black running through the two bangs that were chin length. From behind, his hair ran down to the base of his neck, looking windswept almost. With fair skin with a few scratch marks across his face, and one cut on his bottom lip, along with a few other marks on his skin.
Around his neck was a oddly shaped chain that looked to be like snowflakes, and at the end held two letters K and Y linked together. Beside the bed, was a bag that went around his body that held a small All Might plush within, though it looked a little beaten up.
The young man's name is currently Yuki.
Yuki woke up to a small room, with a door to the right hand side, which was the exit, and one before him to the bathroom, a window on the left hand side, that had a small kitchen, the bed took most of the room up, though Yuki didn't mind as it was rather cheap.
Recalling the dream he just had, the young boy smiled and thought "Tenko..." before he saw blue covering his eyes.
He went to move, when he felt a sharp pain down his side, he glanced to see bruises across his rib area.
"Not fully healed yet..." His eyes went towards a small mirror on the side of the table, looking straight at his hair. "Damn it, not again...I just dyed it yesterday..." Yuki ran his fingers through his blue locks, and sighed. "Why does it keep doing that? I follow the instructions, yet it seems to always go back to blue whenever I go to sleep, I'll have to dye it again..."
Yawning, Yuki went towards his bag, and rummaged through it.
Seeing no food, he sighed, and pulled out the money that he had, splitting it up into different piles.
"Travel money seems good...money for this room should last a few more days...got little for food though...gotta bargain hunt...I should be getting paid soon, I'll need to also find some other work, I'll have to leave here soon to throw that bastard off the trail...can't stay in one place too long..."
Yuki felt his stomach groaning as he stretched his arms above his head, preparing himself for the day.
"...Should I go towards U.A? I do need to find a successor, maybe Nezu's right..."
Thinking about it, a man breathed out, not looking particularly sure as he shopped within a local small store.
An older male, with an appearance of sunken blue eyes, a very thin frame with little muscle, his face noticeably looking pale and having blonde hair that seemingly flopped down his face, was in a local shop. Not a big supermarket, but had essentials that were needed.
This man, was the one, and only All Might.
However, he wasn't in his powered up form right now, so no one recognized him.
Going about his little shopping trip, he heard humming.
Glancing around, he saw a young boy.
It was Yuki.
However, something had changed in his appearance.
His hair was now a soft grey colour, and his blue eyes were now red thanks to the contacts he wore.
He was wearing what looked like an oversized hoodie that had pictures of some Hero's on, one being All Might himself, something the Hero definitely took note of, along with some jeans that had a few rips in them, a bag that went over his shoulder with his possessions inside, including that of an All Might plush.
"Hmm, so two for the price of one...bargain."
He watched as Yuki took two chocolate bars, and he did notice the boys eyes, looked rather bright at seeing a bargain like that. To All Might, it didn't seem like a big deal, but to someone like Yuki, it did.
As he glanced at the boy who was smiling...
He paused for a moment.
The way he looked, it felt very familiar.
But he couldn't place it.
"That smile..."
He looked like a normal kid out in a shop, so All Might didn't pay him any mind.
Getting back to his own little shopping trip, he gathered a few things.
But when he reached out for some instant ramen, he saw another hand doing the same thing.
He looked, to see that Yuki was the one reaching out for it as well.
"Aah..."
"Ooh, sorry. I didn't see you, did you want it?"
Yuki asked kindly, All Might looked to see there was only one left.
"Oh, not at all! You can have it!"
"Are you sure? There's only one."
"Of course, you can have that. I'll get something else."
Yuki thankfully bowed his head.
"That's so kind of you, thank you~"
All Might lightly smiled, and looked at the boys hoodie.
"So, you like Hero's huh?"
Yuki smiled, and nodded.
"I do yes, what about you sir?"
"Yeah, I think they're really great. So, who's your favourite young man?"
Yuki pursed his lips.
"Erm, tough one...I like Mirko-san, she's really cool, and she's like super strong with her legs, I knew a girl quite like her~"
All Might chuckled lightly.
"I see, Mirko huh. Yeah, she's a good Hero! Anyone else?"
"Hmmmm, I also like Hawks, he's cool. Like, being so young and already in the top ten, how freaking cool is that? I'd love to do that, open my own agency at such a young age, plus the wings, aah they look really cool with the red colour. Though it does make me wonder, does he like chicken? Because his wings look like them, I was always curious."
All Might liked Yuki's sense of humour, and began chuckling to himself.
"I have to admit that it is pretty cool for someone so young to have his own agency. And, I see you have All Might on your hoodie, do you like him?"
As he asked, Yuki could see that All Might (even if he wasn't aware he was All Might) had some All Might stuff on his clothes. So Yuki just presumed he was a fan of his, so he decided to have a little fun with him.
"Eh...he's alright. Could take him or leave him to be honest."
All Might's face dropped.
He certainly hadn't expected that.
"O-Oh..."
Yuki lightly smiled, and hopped in place a single time.
"Kidding, he's like one of my favourite's!" All Might smiled as Yuki continued. "Though, probably not for the same reasons most probably like him for. Then again, I can't speak for everyone, but just generally what I hear when people say they like All Might seem different to my reasons."
All Might blinked.
He had to admit that he was a little intrigued now.
"Really? How come?"
"Well, most would say because he's so strong and cool looking. While that is pretty important, I think I like him quite a lot is because he's always smiling."
"Smiling huh?"
All Might mused as Yuki nods and explains.
"Yeah, the smiles he gives, inspires others, and helps calm them down when they're frightened. I think as a Hero, it's the job of them to make sure those around are safe above all else."
"Yes, that's quite right. A Hero's duty is to ensure the lives of those around are safe, and make sure they feel safe as well."
"Yeah...I think the main reason I like All Might so much is because he always tries his hardest, and how he smiles, even when sometimes he probably finds it difficult to smile, all so those around can feel safe, have someone to look to for assurance. I can respect that. Someone that wishes to protect innocent people and stop those that wish to hurt innocents, that's the kind of Hero I really do like. Though it must be so hard...being the number one, he still is human after all."
All Might was surprised by what the young man said.
It wasn't a typical answer he'd ever hear, so it did get him intrigued.
Before he could comment on it, Yuki waved.
"Thanks sir, I had fun chatting to you. Oh, and thanks for the ramen too~"
"Y-Yeah, you too."
All Might waved him off, as Yuki walked around the corner.
His conversation with Yuki, did surprise him.
He didn't think he'd hear such words coming from a teenager.
All Might hummed to himself, before shrugging and going about his day.
Arriving at his work, Yuki was currently doing something that he didn't particularly like to do, but for his work, he'd do it to the best of his ability.
"Damn it, wont stay up..."
Usually, he wore his bangs down his face.
But not today.
He had to wear them up like All Might, but it was proving to be difficult.
"Damn you, having such weird hair like this..."
The young man was wearing a...rather peculiar outfit, one that All Might wore in his Silver Age.
"Haha, the hair not staying up huh Yu-kun?"
A young man with glasses commented, as he walked on by.
Yuki called himself Yu, as only one person ever called him Yuki, but he decided to shorten it just in case.
"Nope, I don't understand how All Might does this. I mean, does he use lots of cement or something?"
"Most likely."
The young boy laughed at the young man with glasses as he disappeared from the room.
Shaking his head, he did his best to place his hair in a similar fashion to All Might.
He hoped that it would look decent.
But when he looked into the mirror, he chuckled awkwardly.
"Great, I look like a bad cosplayer...the things I do for money..." Yuki shook his head and then stood tall. "Right, time to earn money."
Exhaling, the young man left the room he was in and went into the wide open yet small cafe that he worked in.
It was a Hero cafe, were the waiters and waitresses, basically all of the staff, dressed up as popular heroes. They ranged from Best Jeanist, Mirko, Hawks, Endeavour, and All Might among others, even up and coming heroes, it seemed to change day by day Yuki observed, even he didn't know who he'd be cosplaying as the day after the next one, he did what he needed to do, even if he did feel a bit silly being dressed as All Might.
"Yu-kun!" A young woman who cosplayed as Midnight called from the counter towards Yuki. "I need you to cover, I've got some customers that need my...heroic introductions and services."
"Right, coming."
Yuki traded places with the young woman, and stood at the counter, waiting to take peoples orders.
While standing at the counter, he caught the sight of a young girl coming in.
Wearing a sailor fuku, the young girl had permanent blush marks on her cheeks, brown hair of varying length, and cheerful looking eyes.
The girls name was Ochaco Uraraka.
She held before her some coins, and she looked to be counting them.
"Hmmm, I should have enough for some milk and a doughnut..."
The girl mused, before she walked to the counter.
Upon seeing her, Yuki thrusted his fist out, and did a pose that looked quite similar to one All Might would make when he achieved victory, with his fist high into the air.
"Welcome citizen! I, All Might, shall be your waiter this fine morning! Now lets Detroit Smash that menu together!"
A silence erupted between them.
Yuki felt awkward.
The girl stared at him blankly.
He did the same thing.
It felt like an awkward silence, with Yuki thinking "Ooh God, this is so embarrassing..." as the girl simply stared at him, her face unreadable to his eyes.
Yuki then rubbed the back of his head.
"I don't make up what we have to say-"
Before he could finish, the girl cupped her hands together, and let out a squealing sound.
"So cuuuuute~"
Yuki blinked, as the girl moved closer.
"Eh..."
Wearing a blank look on his face, the young man saw the girl beginning to bounce in place.
"You're like Mini Might~"
"M-Mini Might?"
He spluttered, the girl nodded with the same enthusiasm.
"Your hair and your outfit, you look quite like him! And also, don't you think All Might sometimes pulls the most adorable expressions?"
Yuki slowly nods, unsure of what to say.
"Yeah...sure."
"Hehe, you know, this is my first time being in here. I was always wondering how it was, and felt a little nervous coming in, seems silly now thinking about it. But it's such a positive place, don't you think?"
Yuki nodded with a smile.
"Yeah, it's really nice, atmospheres great, though when we have to sing, I do feel genuinely embarrassed."
"S-Singing? You even sing?"
"Please don't make me sing." As he said it, the right hand side of his hair flopped down and hit his face, the girl placing a hand over her mouth to control a small squeal. "Damn hair, All Might uses cement, he has too."
"I know, I've always wondered how he keeps his hair looking like that, especially when he's like zipping around the area, and going super fast~ How does he keep it like so fluffy looking and cool at the same time?"
"I've often wondered the same thing." He lightly smiled out, as he leaned on the counter. "So, what can I get for you?"
"Ooh erm...yeah, okay. Can I have a cup of milk and a doughnut to go please?"
"Sure, what flavour doughnut?"
"Oh...right...erm, okay, how about a chocolate one?"
"Sure~" He quickly did what she wanted, and then presented it to her. She gave him the money. "Thank you very much! Please come again! And as we Heroes say, go Plus Ultra!"
"Yes! Plus Ultra!"
The girl mimicked, Yuki found it to be quite cute.
She then walked off, with a kind smile and left the shop.
Yuki smiled and continued going about his day at work.
The next day, All Might had indeed gone to U.A to speak with the Principal Nezu who was a small animal that had a Quirk that raised his intelligence to see about potential candidates for his Quirk.
However, while he listened, All Might kept zoning out, and thinking about Yuki, and he wasn't sure why that was.
He was a random kid he met.
But something about the look in his eyes, and the way he spoke about Hero's...
Even more than that, something about him felt familiar, and he couldn't work out what it was.
"...There's also young Mirio Togata, I believe Togata-san would be a good candidate for your Quirk..." As he spoke, Nezu noticed All Might seemed distracted. "Is something troubling you?"
All Might snapped back to reality, facing Nezu with his signature smile.
"What? No, not at all!"
Nezu furrowed his brows.
"I know that you want to keep going, but eventually a successor will need to be found."
All Might nodded again and again.
"Yeah, I know. But..."
"But...?"
"It's nothing much...but, I met this kid yesterday, and...I don't know, something about him seemed familiar..."
"Familiar? How?"
Nezu wondered, All Might couldn't even fathom how, so he didn't know how to explain it.
"Maybe I'm just imagining it, but when he smiled, it felt like I had seen that smile before. I know it sounds strange, but it stirred familiar and nostalgic feelings up within me that I can't understand. Also, he spoke about Hero's differently than I've seen most do before at his age, he seemed rather passionate and was quite funny actually."
"I see, so what was this boys name? Does he go to U.A?"
"He looked a bit young to be enrolled in U.A...and I didn't get his name."
Nezu tilted his head.
"Maybe you should go and meet him again."
"Hmmm...maybe..."
"Well, regardless, are you still going to become a teacher here?"
All Might nods.
"I can't put it off forever, I know a successor will have to be found for this power."
"Yes, that's right. For now, look over some suggestions and see if any sticks out."
All Might nodded with a strong smile.
But his mind drew back to Yuki and his smile...
A few days later, while on a break at his work, the young Yuki was flipping through the papers to see if he could find any other kind of part time work. Thinking on the finance that he currently has, he didn't think he'd be able to keep saving up if he didn't find more ways to make some money for himself, and to support himself.
While looking, he came across a strange looking ad.
"Seeking assistant to help test..." As he spoke, Ochaco happened to walk in. "...my adorable babies..."
As he said it, Ochaco paused.
Her eyes went towards the dressed like All Might Yuki, and tilted her head.
"Eh…what?"
Yuki paused when he heard a noise.
He looked up from the paper, and saw Ochaco staring at him.
She even had a slightly more red cheeks than she usually had.
"Hello young citizen, I'll be right with you!"
"Thanks. But, erm...maybe I misheard, what was that about an adorable baby?"
Yuki blinked with perplexity.
He could see that the girl was blushing even more to his curiosity.
But then his eyes widened.
"Haha, I was just reading this ad! See?" He held up the ad for Ochaco to look at. "I just find it mildly curious and a little odd. But it seems to give some good money."
"Ooh wow, what's that about~?"
"No idea, I'm very curious though~"
Yuki waved his hand as he placed the paper down, and went towards the counter.
Ochaco followed, and stood there, looking over the different types of food on the menu above Yuki's head.
"So, young citizen! What can I get for you?"
Ochaco always found it fun when she heard the waiters say that.
"Well, I don't really have much money, so erm...hmmm, well...Endeavour flaming hot burger? What's in that?"
"It's basically just a burger with extra spices and chili sauce. Flaming Hero, flaming burger you know?"
"Ooh, then I might not have that...hmmm, can I just have a milkshake please? A chocolate one."
"Of course."
As he began getting it, Ochaco furrowed her brows.
"Say erm..." Yuki looked back, as she looked at his name tag. "...Yu-san, do you go to school around here? I haven't seen you before."
"Aah, no. Recently moved here."
"Ooh, I see! So you're new here huh? Have you managed to find your way around?"
Yuki thought that was really sweet of her to ask that.
"I have yeah, for the most part. Though I tend to only go to a few places around here anyway."
"I see~ So, how come you ended up working here?"
"It's a nice job, I thought it would be fun to do. I do feel a bit silly cosplaying as Hero's, but it's all in good fun~ Plus, I get to speak to interesting people, as long as they don't make me sing~"
Ochaco giggled, placing her hands on her chest.
"Well, I think you do a good All Might~"
"That's really nice, but I always think it's kinda weird whenever I do it. He really pulls off these silly lines, with his charisma and charm, I feel like I make it sound odd."
Ochaco waved her hand.
"No, no. Not at all~ I like it anyway." Ochaco smiled out as he gave her the milkshake. "Ooh, right the money." Ochaco looked down at the coins she had, and saw that it didn't look like it would be enough. "Ooh, I must've dropped some...ooh I'm sorry for wasting your time, I can't afford it...really sorry...I feel embarrassed now..."
Ochaco looked dejected as she placed it back onto the counter.
Yuki looked into her eyes, seeing the downtrodden expression on her face, so he pushed it back towards her.
"Don't forget your drink."
Ochaco looked confused.
"Eh? But I can't..."
Yuki looked at the money she had, and placed his hand out, which she then placed said coins within his hand.
"It's alright, this is nearly enough. I trust you to pay it off at a later date."
He knew he couldn't let it go for free, his bosses wouldn't like that. But Ochaco seemed like an honest girl, and he couldn't see her trying to get things for free either. So he thought that this would be a good way, and it wasn't even that much difference anyway.
Plus...he knew the embarrassment of not being able to afford things, as even now, he still had times like that.
Being embarrassed about having to put things back once realizing you didn't have enough.
And because she seemed so nice, he thought it wouldn't be a big deal anyway.
Ochaco was surprised by this.
But she felt a smile slowly work its way onto her face.
"That's really nice...I promise I'll pay the difference tomorrow. Thank you Yu-san!"
"Not a problem, have a nice day."
"You too Mini Might!"
Yuki sweat dropped.
"Mini Might..."
"Yup, Mini Might! Anyway, I've got to go or I'll be late for school, thanks again!"
Ochaco smiled and bowed her head, before walking out.
As she did, she turned her head back to Yuki who was getting on with cleaning the counters, a soft smile workings its way onto her face, and she thought "Wow, he really is quite nice." before she walked out of the cafe all together.
When the day ended for his work, the young man answered an ad he found in the papers. Though as he moved towards the small house that was out in the middle of nowhere, he could hear what sounded like mini explosions going off.
He cringed and thought "Ooh God, is this really the place?" as he quietly approached.
Getting to the door, he went to knock when he heard an eerie "Come to the garage please." coming from above.
He looked up to see a camera there, so Yuki cringed, and did just that, going around to the garage.
He knocked on it, and after a few seconds, it opened up.
As it did, an eerie fog came out of it, and a shadow could be seen from deep within.
He gulped, as he heard "Please come inside." and while going inside, he looked around to see that several mechanical items were either attached onto the walls, onto shelves, and even on the floor as well.
Looking further in, Yuki could see that there was a young girl sat down on a chair. She has pink hair, and eyes that looked like they were sniper like scopes in design which Yuki thought was kind of cool.
She had steampunk like goggles around her neck, and she was wearing an outfit similar to someone that would work in a workshop. She even wore what looked like a long scientist lab coat.
When she didn't look in his direction, Yuki spoke up.
"Excuse me, is this where I can find Mei Hatsume-san?"
"Yes, one moment please."
Yuki waited for a few moments, before she finally came out of what looked like a rockets body and turned her head towards him.
As she did, her eyes inspected him.
"Am I expecting a guest?"
"Eeh, I called this morning, about a part time job offer."
Mei clapped her hands.
"Ooh, right! Of course, forgot about that haha! So you came to fulfil the position?"
"Yes...but, I was a bit confused by the ad. It said something about testing out your..." He looked at the ad he found in the papers. "...adorable babies, and I wasn't sure what that meant. I presume it isn't babysitting, but I am intrigued what they are..."
Mei clicked her fingers then she pointed at him.
"My adorable babies, they're my creations of course!" Mei flung her arms out, and pointed at different gadgets and gizmos. "You see, I'm an inventor, and as an inventor, I need someone to help me, an assistant if you will, so I put out an ad."
Yuki smiled, while Mei pulled off of her chair, and moved closer.
She began circulating the young man, taking in every inch of his being with her eyes.
She then placed her hands on his chest from behind, he stiffened as she casually ran her fingers across his upper body. She then moved her hands from his front, towards his back, and gently allowed her hands to slide across his back.
"W-What are you doing?!"
He gasped at her, but she didn't pay any mind, as she continued feeling his upper body.
"My, a slender form, you do have a nice physique. Perfect for helping me out."
"T-Thank you...but erm..."
Mei looked on curiously, as she pulled back.
Tilting her head, she saw he had redness on his cheeks.
"Hmmm? Something wrong? I had to make sure that you had the right type of body after all."
"R-Right..."
Yuki felt nervous now.
He didn't know what she was going to ask of him.
"Say, got any combat experience? I felt some muscle under your shirt~"
He recalled seeing that on the ad, though he wasn't sure why he'd need it if he was going to help her, be an assistant to her.
"Aha, well it isn't officially trained or anything, but I know some hand to hand combat..."
"Good, good. Next, are you allergic to anything?"
"Not that I know of...why?"
He was definitely nervous now.
Why would she need to know if he was allergic to anything?
"Just checking." Mei waved him off, as she jumped back. "Well, I can see that I wont have any problems in the physical sense. And it seems that because you answered my ad, you possess a curiosity that nearly rivals my own, that's great. So, how about we do a trial run and then go from there?"
Yuki shrugged.
"Sure, okay."
"Great, wait here."
Mei hopped into the back, and went towards what looked like a robot.
Mei activated it, and then came walking back out.
"You see, U.A has these robots, that they use as trials to enter into the Hero Course. One day, I'd also like to go to U.A for a certain course that they do in helping me develop even more for the future, so I've been studying hard. And these robots always fascinated me, so I managed to get my hands on one to see how it ticks, and see if I can add anything to it."
"I see...and you want me too..."
He trailed off, wondering what it actually was that he was needed for.
"Test out its combat abilities. Don't worry, you're not in danger. I have a switch that can..." As she said it, Mei heard a crashing sound. She looked to see the switch she spoke up, had been broken by the robot swinging its arm out. "Ooh…well, that's odd."
"Eh…?"
Yuki looked on as the hands of the robot opened up, to show gun like heads there.
Widening his eyes, he rushed to Mei, and grabbed her body, and began running out as the robot opened fire.
"If this is to test school kids, why do they have guns?!"
"I added the guns!"
Yuki's tired eyes turned to Mei who was on his shoulder, being carried by the boy, and she looked rather proud of herself, so he couldn't hold his voice back.
"Why did you feel the need to add guns?!"
"They aren't real bullets that are being fired, more like rubber balls. So they couldn't like kill you."
Yuki's eyebrows twitched.
"That would still hurt people though!"
Mei laughed awkwardly as the robot came shooting out of the garage, and turned its guns onto the pair. Yuki placed Mei down, and touched the ground, causing a shield to appear from the earth, as the robot opened fire.
The earth shield held up, as Mei looked on with keen interest.
"Earth Quirk huh, that could come in handy~"
"Eh...so, you want me to destroy your Terminator buddy there?"
"It seems to have gone rogue, I haven't given it any orders yet either, seems like its old programming is still there, thought I got rid of it all. That's what I get from getting mine in a scrap heap huh."
As she laughed it off, Yuki gave her a deadpan look.
"You don't say."
Mei shrugged her shoulders.
"Beggars can't be choosers in this world...eeh..."
She tried to recall his name while Yuki felt his sweat dropping from his forehead.
"Yu."
"Yu-kun, right, right. So, if you'd be kind, could you take down the robot for me? There is a button on the back, an automatic shut down, so if you press that, it wont keep going crazy like this."
Yuki sighed, and nodded.
Hearing the bullets hitting the wall, he murmured "Wait here." as he rushed out from the left.
The robot turned its hands towards him, but before it could do anything, Yuki slammed his hand down and caused a small section of the earth to uproot into a thin pillar, which came shooting out from the ground.
Mei looked out from her hiding place and murmured "Ooh, cool." as she watched the earth pillar hit the robot head on, the metal hit the strong earth enough to force it backwards.
Yuki then ran forward, as it was distracted.
Getting in close, he went to press the button when its back end opened up, and shot a net for him.
Yuki pulled back, avoiding the net, before touching the ground and caused it to uproot below him, allowing him to have a bit of height in his jump.
He then got in close, and pressed the button, de-powering the robot fully.
Mei released a breath, as she came out of hiding.
"Well done, seems like it went well. You know, besides the whole it trying to kill us part, that always happens in experiments though."
"W-What? It does?"
Yuki didn't quite believe it, that something like that happened on a regular basis.
"Yup, that's how it is after all. You never can tell what science is going to do with your life, you know?"
"Science does things with your life?"
"Hahaha! As you work with me, you'll see what it means~ So, how do your evenings look? Still want the job? I've decided that you've got what I am looking for in an assistant."
"But we've only interacted a little bit."
"I saw how you quickly came into save me, and defended me, that kind of mentality is something that I can use in my research and development. So, what do you say huh? Wanna become the assistant to the next inventor of U.A?"
Yuki gave the girl unsure eyes.
It seemed that it would be rather dangerous being this girls assistant.
However, he then thought "I might have to accept so she doesn't get herself killed." so he bowed his neck.
"Yes, I accept."
Mei clapped her hands a single time.
"Wonderful! Now, lets sort out the finer details about payment and such, and go over more of your role, okay?"
"Right, Hatsume-san."
"Just Mei's fine, no need for formalities now."
"Of course Mei-san."
Mei showed her index finger.
"You know, you're the first person to respond to my ad. I've had it out for like five months now, and no response. Weird or what? I thought they'd want to assist in science and the advancement of Hero's with their support items! Well, I guess that it is their loss on that and your gain haha~"
Yuki smiled.
But deep inside he knew exactly why no one had answered it.
Because the ad seemed so random and it didn't make sense to probably most who read it.
"Now eeh...Yu-kun! We'll be developing precious babies together!"
Yuki's cheeks turned red at how she said it.
"D-Developing babies..."
"Yup! Together, we'll develop the ultimate baby! Ooh, your Quirk as well, I wonder if I could do anything with that…?" Yuki watched as Mei turned towards him, and had a gleam in her eyes. "Say, wanna fill me in on what you can do and I can make you some items?!"
Yuki chuckled awkwardly...
He truly didn't know what he had gotten himself into.
The next day, All Might was back in his smaller form. Going through the same shop that he was in just the other day, part of him couldn't get the boys smile and what he said out of his mind.
He couldn't understand why it was, but it seemed so familiar to him, yet he was having much trouble placing it.
He was hoping to see if he would come across that boy again, mostly out of curiosity about why he felt the way that he did.
As he was picking up something's, he happened to come across Yuki once more, carrying some items within a bag along with packing away a few chocolate bars.
He was looking a little different again, and this time, he was cosplaying as All Might.
Remembering what the young man said the other day, All Might moved closer.
Before he could say anything, Yuki looked towards him, and smiled.
"Hey there sir. Thanks for the ramen the other day~"
"Hello again young man. Not a problem. Your outfit, an All Might cosplay?"
Yuki smiled, as he looked around.
"Well, it's something that I do for my job." Yuki replied with a smile as he leaned forward. "Say sir, may I ask you something?"
"Of course! What is it?"
"Well, when you talked about Hero's the last time we met, I was just curious, who's your favourite Hero? I presume that it is All Might, yes?"
It did feel a bit odd to say All Might himself was his own favourite Hero.
But he couldn't reveal anything, so he nodded.
"Eeh...yeah, that's right~ So, young man, do you have aspirations on becoming a Hero?"
All Might wondered.
Yuki's face dropped a little bit.
When it did, All Might noticed a shift in his demeanour.
"A Hero...to be honest, I probably wouldn't be able to."
"Oh? Because of your Quirk? It isn't suited to fighting?"
"Eeh...it's just something I probably wouldn't be able to do, that's all."
"But you'd like too?"
"If I could...definitely. I've always wanted to help people out. But there are others things that I wanna do so I haven't made up my mind yet."
As he spoke, a rough looking pink man barged past Yuki, almost knocking him down, pushing him into the counter rather roughly, and caused a few chocolate bars within his bag to land on the floor.
All Might also noticed as the man barged past him, Yuki held onto his side, something that perplexed him, it seemed Yuki was in a bit of pain.
All Might scowled when he saw that.
"Hey, you didn't need to barge past this kid. You could have hurt him. Please apologize."
The pink looking large human turned his eyes towards All Might, showing a menacing look.
"Tch, don't strain yourself old man! I'll do what I want!"
All Might tightened his hand, seeing the clear disrespectful nature of the man before him.
"You cannot treat children like that."
The fiery nature of wishing to protect came over All Might.
Even in his current form, he felt the duty of a Hero, and he wished to convey it to this man.
"Heh? I can't huh? Why not?"
Yuki looked between them.
He knew he couldn't draw attention to himself, so he got between them.
"It's alright sir, I'm fine. No need to worry about me."
"See old dude? The kids got more smarts than you, next time don't try and pick fights with your betters."
Yuki rolled his eyes and thought "Asshole." while All Might watched the man continue to laugh and walk off.
Shaking his head, Yuki looked towards All Might.
"Thanks for sticking up for me, sometimes you come across people like that huh."
"Yeah, it shouldn't be like that, but it is. Are you alright? You held your side, did he do anything to you?"
Yuki couldn't remember the last time someone had asked him that.
It did cause him to stop for a few moments.
The kind...the care All Might had in his voice, Yuki hadn't become accustomed to that in a good while.
"Ah, yeah. I'm alright. It wasn't anything major, this is just an old injury that's still healing, that's all…" As he spoke, he saw the time on the clock. "Ooh damn, my breaks almost up! Sorry sir, I'm gonna have to go. Thanks again!"
Yuki bowed, and began running off.
As he did, All Might saw some chocolate bars on the floor, and remembered seeing them in Yuki's bag, so he picked it up.
"Hey kid, you dropped these!"
Though he called, Yuki didn't hear him, so All Might chased after him.
While doing so, the pink humanoid looked on, before showing a smirk, and walked out after them.
All Might got out of the shop, and saw Yuki running down the street.
Inhaling, he began running after him.
It would be easier in his larger form, but he didn't mind doing this in his smaller weaker form.
As he followed, he ran by a man that had tentacles for arms.
Glancing at him for a few moments, the man and he locked eyes, before All Might continued on.
As All Might did run by, the pink humanoid came out of the shop, and walked towards the man with tentacles for arms.
"Alright, I can't see any active Hero's here. So, lets capture some of these pathetic peons, and then we'll gain fame through killing the Hero's as they wont be able to do anything other than watch unless they want the idiot civilians to be killed as a result. Hero's are so predictable, after all."
"Right Habit Headgear-sama."
"Haha, now we'll be able to get even more famous than any Villain group! People will follow us as they see us destroying Hero's."
The pair laughed together, and began setting up their plan.
All Might on the other hand managed to see where Yuki went into.
It was a cafe.
It now made sense why he was cosplaying as him.
Curiosity came over him as he entered the building.
When he did, while not knowing her, he saw Ochaco stood at the counter with Yuki stood behind it.
"Here, as I promised."
Ochaco produced some money and gave it to Yuki.
"Thank you."
Ochaco showed a cute smile.
"Then if it's okay, can I have a chocolate milkshake? I promise I have the money this time~"
"Ahah, right. One milkshake coming up."
All Might looked on and saw the interactions between them.
As Yuki gave the milkshake to the girl, Ochaco showed a kind smile.
"Then, I guess I'll see you tomorrow Yu-san~"
"Yes, see you tomorrow. Have a nice day."
"You too!"
Yuki watched as the girl walked out of the cafe, as All Might moved to the front.
When he did, Yuki looked on, and became surprised.
"Ooh, hello again. What a surprise."
"Hello, you dropped these."
Yuki saw him produce the chocolate bars, surprising the young man.
"You came...just to give me this?"
His tone was disbelieving.
He just wasn't used to people really doing anything like this for him.
Even if it was minor to most, to Yuki it really was a kind gesture.
"Of course. These are yours, aren't they?"
Yuki nodded, and took the bars of chocolate, placing it on his bag.
"They are yeah, thank you sir."
All Might waved his hand.
"Not at all."
All Might watched as Yuki thrust his hand out.
"No citizen! You went Plus Ultra for me!"
All Might blinked…
He was taken by surprise by the sudden shift in his voice.
"Nice All Might impression."
Yuki lightly laughed.
"I think it's really bad~"
"No, it's actually really good. But remember, speak with confidence when you say the words. If you don't believe in them, then how can anyone else?"
Yuki was taken aback by what he had said.
Though it definitely sounded like a good piece of advice that he received.
Just then, Yuki saw something coming for the doors and windows…
It was a car.
It looked like it had been thrown, and it headed right for All Might.
"Look out!"
All Might widened his eyes as Yuki dashed from behind the counter, and grabbed All Might as he jumped, tackling him down to the ground.
As he did, the car smashed through the windows and door.
While hitting the ground with All Might, Yuki's hand managed to graze the ground, and he activated his Quirk.
Allowing the earth to come up in a shield, it stopped the car before it could move any further, protecting those within the cafe as well.
All Might's eyes widened as he saw Yuki take his hand off of the ground, facing All Might.
"Are you alright?"
Usually, All Might didn't have that be asked of him.
He was usually the one to ask about it.
"Y...Yes, I'm fine, thank you. Did you, do that with the earth?"
Yuki didn't want to reveal much about himself, he couldn't.
But it was clearly him, so he just nodded.
"Yes, I...I did."
"That was amazing young man, you jumped head first despite the dangers. That's quite heroic."
Yuki scratched the back of his head.
Just then, they heard a cry outside.
More than one.
It sounded like a mass of screams.
All Might went to move, when he saw Yuki running outside.
"...He's moving...even though it could be dangerous..."
All Might shot out of the building after the young man, and looked around.
He couldn't see any Hero's at all.
He saw the same tentacle Villain swinging around said tentacles, and slamming them towards innocent people.
Tightened his hand, he began moving.
"Aah!"
However, before he could, he saw Ochaco having been forced to the ground with a tentacle going for her.
His eyes caught the sight of Yuki running in her direction.
Despite the dangers, he moved to save the young girl.
When they came close, Yuki managed to place his hand down and caused the earth to form a shield, blocking off the tentacle, surprising both Ochaco, and the tentacle Villain while the man known as Habit Headgear looked from around the corner, his brows narrowing as he recognized the boy from earlier.
Making it to Ochaco, he stood before her, and offered his hand.
"Can you walk?"
"Y-Yes."
"Then please come with me."
Ochaco looked at Yuki, and nodded.
Taking his hand, she got to her feet, and they began running away.
"Don't run you brats!"
The tentacle Villain swung one for the pair of them, so Yuki got before Ochaco, and used his Quirk on the ground, protecting the pair of them from the attack, but some of it broke through with the power behind the swing, and the debris came flying back towards Ochaco and Yuki.
Quickly, he moved Ochaco out of the way, as some of the earth slammed into his shoulder, all the while Yuki brushed his hand across the ground, a pillar of earth erupted and smashed into the Villains upper body, sending him flying down to the ground with a cry.
All Might who was watching on, had his eyes fixated onto Yuki. When seeing him take that piece of rubble for Ochaco, and got injured because of it, his eyes widened.
"That boy...he jumped head first into danger. There wasn't anytime to think, he simply acted...no hesitation, he defended that girl, even when rubble came, he stepped in front of her, and protected her…"
All Might's intrigue came to a pause when he saw the Villain's tentacles come out and wrap around objects nearby.
Seeing that, he quickly went around the corner, and changed from his smaller form, to his more buff form.
Shooting out back from the corner, he yelled "DO NOT WORRY, FOR I AM HERE!" and when he did, Yuki and Ochaco looked relieved as did most of the people around.
"All Might is here?! Why is he here now?!"
The tentacle Villain yelled, as All Might showed his charismatic smile.
"Villain! I wont allow you to continue on!" Dashing forward, All Might crossed the distance within seconds. "Carolina Smaaaaaaaaash!"
All Might crossed his arms, and then swung them out, smashing all of the tentacles away, along with an X shaped wave of air, which went towards the Villain, he couldn't fight against it, and the attack slammed hard into him, knocking him out cold.
As he did that, Ochaco looked towards Yuki, who adopted a small smile.
"That was...amazing. You saved me..."
Yuki rubbed the back of his head.
"Are you alright?"
The girl looked over herself, as she dusted herself off.
She then rubbed the back of her head as well.
"Yup, I'm completely fine~ It seems you're not only cosplaying as one, but you are a Hero too~"
Yuki lightly smiled.
"I'm not sure about that, I just did what I thought I could since no one else was around."
"Well, what you did helped me. Thank you...ooh, my name is Ochaco Uraraka, thank you for saving me. I should have said so before about my name, guess it slipped my mind~"
Yuki waved his hands out before him.
"No. No. It's quite alright. I'm just glad you're safe Uraraka-san. Glad to finally put a name to a face haha~"
Ochaco giggled as Yuki smiled at her.
"How's your shoulder?"
"Oh, it's fine. It doesn't hurt."
Ochaco placed a hand on her chest.
"I'm relieved, I was worried."
"Yeah, I'm completely fine. Don't worry. Thanks for the concern."
"Thanks for saving me~"
Yuki smiled as did Ochaco.
As they spoke, All Might came over with his signature wide grin on his face.
Beaming away, the elder man placed a hand on Yuki's shoulder.
"Young man! What I saw then was very heroic! Going to save this girl! And my, you look quite like me! A fan I see!"
Yuki smiled weakly.
Seeing All Might was a big deal, but it also meant something else.
"It's just my job, in that cafe there."
All Might looked to where the boy pointed.
Seeing what he was speaking about, he turned back to Yuki.
"I see! Well, you've picked a good person to cosplay!"
"Eh...yeah, I just wear what I'm told to wear, though being you is pretty fun~"
All Might chuckled.
"I'm glad you enjoy it! Anyway, would you like my autograph? And your friend too of course!"
"Really? That's great!"
Ochaco smiled out, while Yuki wanted to limit as much contact as possible, so he had to pass.
"I've got to get back to work, thanks All Might. Uraraka-san, I'm glad you're safe."
Yuki bowed and walked off.
All Might was baffled.
It seemed Yuki was quite in a hurry.
Ochaco also looked on, curious about the boy that saved her life.
Yuki looked back, and locked eyes with All Might for a few moments.
As he did, his mind raced.
He then walked back towards All Might.
"Hey erm...can I ask you something All Might? Rather, it's a request if you don't mind?"
"Of course! What is it?"
Yuki adopted a light hearted smile, and bowed his body forward ever so slightly.
"When you explain what happened to the police or whoever, could you maybe not mention I did anything? Don't wanna worry my parents, and all, plus media coverage, I'm kind of shy, you know?"
Yuki did the best he could and came up with a plausible reason why he didn't want to be known to anyone.
All Might raised an eyebrow.
But he could understand why he'd want that.
"Of course, that isn't an issue. Real Hero's are the ones that don't always get credit, but save the day!"
"Thanks, I've got to get back to work now. Have a nice day."
He waved and went to go back inside of the shop.
But he stopped, and looked back to All Might.
Locking eyes with him, Yuki adopted a soft smile.
All Might looked on curiously as Yuki smiled towards him before he disappeared inside of the shop, and thought about what he said.
"Someone that doesn't want to be in the limelight. Yet, he was willing to risk himself for someone it seems he doesn't really know. That boy...Something about him seems so familiar, his face, the way he looked at me...what is it? But what he did then, was the essence of a true Hero, saving someone, even a stranger like I was from potential dangers. This boy..."
All Might mused within his mind, as Ochaco looked towards the shop.
She couldn't get out of her head how someone managed to save her life as they did.
How he jumped in for her, and protected her, when there were no guarantees that they'd be okay.
She thought it truly was a kind thing to do.
As they thought about it, from around the corner, Habit Headgear looked on, his face turning more and more darker as time went on. His eyes dancing between All Might, Ochaco, and his mind then began thinking about Yuki, how if he didn't interfere then they could have used Ochaco as a hostage before All Might arrived and tightened his grip.
That night, Yuki returned back to his room, in a cheap motel, something that he could afford, and no questions were asked which was for the best.
Laying on the bedsheets that didn't look the most clean, Yuki's mind raced through the events of the day.
Seeing All Might, saving Ochaco...
It felt good.
Being able to use his powers for something good.
But deep inside, a voice haunted him, with words that always stayed at the forefront of his mind, which were "Even if you escape me, if anyone tries to help you, I'll kill them..." and he knew those words to be true, so he couldn't risk speaking to All Might, as powerful as he was, the man that he was trying to keep away...he had seen the power of, and didn't want anyone to become hurt, not because of him.
"All Might...I'm glad to see that you're still doing well...I wonder what Kacchan would say if she knew I spoke to All Might directly? Bet she'd be a bit jealous hehe. Kacchan...I wish I could speak to you again...but, it's too dangerous...maybe one day we can speak again..."
Yuki released a breath, before taking out the All Might plush.
His lips curled upwards as he laid flat on his back, placing the plush on his chest.
"Tenko...I hope you're still..."
Yuki paused his thoughts, and then began closing his eyes, feeling fatigue come over him.
Meanwhile, within another part of Japan, a young man with hands covering his arms, legs, and even his face, along with messy bluish hair that seemed disheveled, he scratched his neck, seeing that he didn't have anyone around, it seemed that they were busy.
As he went to go and find his Sensei, he heard voices.
"Why haven't you been able to find him?"
Tomura knew that was his Sensei's voice.
"He's smart, he lets us know his location, always away from public places, yet has escape routes planned out, so he can get away, and he's always moving around Japan unpredictably, and with limited resources, I cannot be sure where his next location is going to be."
"He is one child. Find him immediately, before he and Tomura come into contact..."
As his Sensei spoke, the blue haired man came into the room.
"Sensei...what's going on? Keeping me in the dark...who am I coming into contact with?"
Looking on, he saw an older man, wearing a doctors coat simply excuse himself, as his eyes faced his Sensei.
"It's nothing Tomura. Do not worry."
The newly named Tomura gazed through the opening of the fingers the hand on his face had, to stare at the man that had a large black mask on.
"...Honestly, you're always being secretive. You're looking for someone, right? Who is it?"
"I assure you, it's nothing to concern yourself over, just a pesky flea that will be dealt with. It's getting late, why don't you rest?"
Tomura huffed childishly and walked off.
Going back to his room, he fell face first onto the bed, as his eyes glanced towards a certain something on his table.
It looked as if had seen better days.
Some of it looked torn and damaged from years of general wear and tear.
But it was clear to see a crudely drawn image of two small children together, wearing Hero outfits.
He couldn't fully remember the circumstances of getting it, but he remembers the feelings behind it, knowing it was precious to him.
Tomura gazed at it fondly, as he felt sleep overcome him…
End chapter!
So, this is the beginning of the story of Yuki, the younger brother of Tomura. At least his name now is Yuki, we'll learn in the future his real name, his history, why he goes by Yuki now specifically and other things about him.
Anyway, as shown, it seems that All For One seems to wish Yuki would be dead, due to reasons shown here and some explained later on, to the point that he'd hurt or kill anyone trying to help him so he's keeping under the radar the best he can.
While on the run, he came across Ochaco and by the end helped her out, he also came across Mei who he works for now in her crazy experiments.
He and All Might's bond is going to be fun to write, as while Yuki does like All Might and admires him, he isn't overly obsessed with him as in the case with Izuku, but All Might seems to somewhat recognize him, so we'll be going into that pretty soon.
Yuki and Ochaco's relationship, I don't really ever do Ochaco with an Oc due to Izuku, so it is going to be fun to write about her, with Yuki. We'll see how they both have a positive influence on the other, and how they'll help each other develop into greater Hero's.
Yuki and Tomura's relationship is also going to be fun to explore, one of the main reasons I wished to write this is to explore the dynamics between Tomura and his little brother, how it contrasts how All For One and his brother were, among other things.
The same for Yuki and Katsuki's relationship, that's gonna be different to Izuku's with Katsuki as Yuki has a Quirk so it wouldn't make sense for Katsuki to try and bully him for reasons like that, but Katsuki and Yuki's gonna be going through something's, that will develop both Yuki and Katsuki.
His Quirk as well, for those that aren't aware, it's Reconfiguration, as shown when he shifted the ground around and created different structures with it. He hasn't discovered all aspects of it yet, so we'll see what this, along with One For All is going to be capable of doing, it's going to be quite the journey for him as he learns to balance the powers.
And as always, this is a harem, so if you'd like to suggest, then please do! I'll begin putting the harem list as of next chapter!
Well, until next time, thanks for reading!
