After the Hundred Years War, Tsunade had retired from being the Hokage, and handed the title over to Kakashi. A fully grown Naruto came to visit Kakashi in his office.
"Good morning, Kakashi-Sensei!" Naruto said, greeting Kakashi.
"You don't have to call me that anymore." Kakashi said. "I am the Hokage now. Sit down, I have something I want to tell you about." Naruto began to sit.
"You have been through a lot." Kakashi explained. "I understand you weren't able to pass the Chunin Exams because of the war, and because you were disqualified in the Sand Village exams for using Sage Chakra. As a reward for you saving the world from Kaguya and the Akatsuki, I am promoting you to the rank of Jonin." Kakashi handed Naruto the Jonin uniform, a dark blue shirt and pants with a green flak jacket.
"But I don't get to wear orange if I wear this!" Naruto mentioned.
"Don't worry about that!" Kakashi told Naruto. "Once you become Jonin, green will be the only color that matters to you." Naruto took the uniform and went in the bathroom to change. After he had changed, he came back to Kakashi.
"Now since you are now official, it's time you build a squad of your own." Kakashi explained.
"How am I supposed to do that?" Naruto questioned.
"There is a whole other world that our world originated from on the other side of the map." Kakashi told Naruto. "Knowledge of this world was wiped clean by Danzo and the Root Ninja right before you were born." Kakashi handed Naruto some scrolls that Minato had saved from when the knowledge was being destroyed. Naruto put them in his red messenger bag.
"I am going to go to this world and find a squad to train." Naruto said. "Bye Kakashi!"
"Good luck!" Naruto used the Thunder God Jutsu to travel to a bustling city known as Cranefish Town. In this town, Naruto fell into the middle of the road, while some ostrich horses were neighing at him to get out of the road.
"Hey Mr!" A coach driver said. "Get out of the road!" Naruto dashed off the intersection. He was doing his signature run, heading into the park. Meanwhile a bald boy with an arrow on his head was training with a short girl in a green shirt and metal armored vest.
"Hey Twinkle Toes!" The girl in the metal armored vest said. "We are going to be here all day until you can give me the biggest and baddest mudslide you can give!" The bald boy touched the grass with his two hands, and made a river of brown mud that appeared appetizing due to its resemblance to chocolate.
"That's not good enough, I want a bigger and muddier mudslide!" The metal armored girl shouted. Naruto crashed into the bald boy and he fell in the mud.
"Who is this stranger?" Katara asked. Sokka pulled out a whale bone machete.
"Whoever he is, he may be hostile." Sokka said. "He could be a Bender Supremacist like Liling."
"I just want to ask you a simple question." the bald man said. "Who are you and what do you want with us?"
"I am Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto said.
"I am Aang, I'm the Avatar." Aang said. "These are my friends, Katara, Sokka and Toph."
"Nice to meet you all." Naruto said. "I am building a three man squad, so only three of you can be members."
"Count me out." Toph added. "I am building a Metalbender Police Force with Suki, so I will be busy."
"Also, we are founding our own United Republic of Nations." Aang said. "This city is the basis for it."
"You are free to help us grow the nation." Sokka said.
"Ok, will do." Naruto agreed. "Maybe if we grow our country some Ninja Academy graduates can move to the United Republic and I can have my squad here!"
"Sounds great!" Aang said. "Let's get building!"
Meanwhile, at New Root Ninja Base, The Old Abbey
Danzo's son named Raiden, a dark skinned young man with black hair and an eyepatch, wearing a black uniform of some sort was training the Root Ninja to carry on his father's legacy.
"My own father had fought for the Fire Nation during the return of Hiruzen to the Leaf Village." Raiden explained. "After Hiruzen passed, Danzo could not assume the throne of Hokage because he was busy fighting for the Fire Nation in the war. Since the Fire Nation lost the war, it is time to take back the throne of the Firelord and reclaim the Fire Nation colonies so I can be even greater than my father." A familiar face was clapping in the distance.
"That speech was very scary and I loved it." Said a voice that belonged to none other than former Princess Azula. "Raiden, how about we make a deal?"
"What do you mean?" Raiden said.
"With my Fire Warriors and your Root Ninja we will be unstoppable!" Azula explained. "We will lay siege to the Fire Nation Palace to take it back in the name of both our fathers."
"Danzo and Firelord Ozai go way back." Raiden explained. "They were best pals when they were kids."
"Exactly." Azula said. "We will be what our fathers could not be by taking over the Fire Nation and burn this world to the ground and begin a new world in fire from the ashes."
"The beginning of the Second Fire Nation Empire is coming…." Raiden said. Raiden and Azula boarded Azula's airship with the Fire Warriors and Root Ninja as they journeyed to the Fire Nation to take back the throne.
