"On Loan"
This is the first project my husband is helping me work on, and is arguably the side project I am most excited about.
Harry Potter is a series that helped me stay grounded during a rough childhood. Say what you want of the author, but the fact that this series has been one of the two keys to my survival and thus retains a special spot in my heart.
As I grew older, and met my now husband, we both fell in love with a different Harry: Harry Dresden.
Recently an idea and common topic came between us, "What if Harry Dresden was sent to teach at Hogwarts?" and the idea has taken off.
"On Loan" takes place between Turncoat and Changes in the Dresdenverse, and after the main HP series. You'll see some characters you'll recognize from each universe, of course, else it wouldn't really be a good crossover. We did our research to try to get the story set right in both timelines, though with the specificity of the HP universe with the intense vaguities of the Dresdenverse, the proper timeframe was hard to nail down.
We believe that we have managed to get the timing right, and the storyline set. All that's left is to write it all up!
Chapters will be posted every Friday as we're able. Please note that summers are often very busy for us, so there may occasionally be missing postings, or more than one. However, we will try our hardest to keep to a specific schedule.
