Chapter 1: Awakening

Harry had a pretty terrible year it started off with being entered into the tri-wizard tournament and then his best friend Ron not believing him that he had entered his name into the cup even though they made up it still had been a tough time without Ron. Then he had saw the return of the dark Lord Voldemort it was by far the worst year he had as even though he had bad years at Hogwarts it always ended with a good ending to the year but, this year he didn't see any benefit to the end of the year. Instead of something good happening Cedric was dead, and Voldemort had returned and very few people had believed him. In his first three years they ended with something better happening like in his first year he had stopped Voldemort's return. In his second year he closed the Chamber of Secrets and saved Ginny, and last year he met his godfather. All Harry could wish for is that something would happen to make his summer better.

A man awoke in a dark house that looked like it had been blown up he had a hazy memory of Lord Voldemort coming to his house and the front door being open and then a big green light. Then he remembered it all he told Lily to take Harry and run James quickly ran to Harry's room to see it half blown up and a figure with red hair in front of the crib but no sign of Harry.

"Lily." James screamed as he saw her on the floor. He went to the floor and kneeled next to Lily hoping to find a pulse when Lily started to stir.

"James! I thought that you had died I saw Voldemort kill you." Lily said.

"It's alright Lils I'm ok." James responded.

"Seeing Voldemort try to kill you was the worst thing that happened in my life." Lily told him.

"It's ok we're together now and I am never letting you out of my sight again." James said as he hugged Lily.

"I thought that I would never see you again and I would have to raise Harry alone." Lily said as she sobbed into James' shoulder.

"Lily where's Harry?" James asked.

"Harry." Lily screamed.

"What happened Lily?" James asked.

"I remember you telling me to take Harry and run but, Voldemort came and told me to step aside but I didn't and that's all I can remember." Lily said with tears in her eyes feeling like she had failed Harry.

"It's ok Lily maybe Harry is safe with Sirius, and he left with Harry in case more death eaters came here." James tried to reason with Lily. "We should contact Sirius and go to Potter Manor to wait for him."

"But how do we know that Harry isn't gone?" Lily asked James.

"There's no body in the crib so that means Harry isn't gone." James reassured her.

"You're right Sirius probably has Harry right now and is taking good care of him. We should go to Potter Manor and go wait for Sirius there. Lily said more reassuring herself more than anything.

James and Lily picked up their wands and apparated from Godric's Hallow and to Potter Manor. They would've contacted Sirius immediately but, they felt it wasn't safe to stay in Godric's Hallow much longer as more death eaters would come or even worse Lord Voldemort could come back.

James and Lily arrived at Potter Manor, it had been shut down since James and Lily went into hiding so then no one would be able to tell where they had been, and the house elves had been put into sleep. The priority for James and Lily was to contact Sirius before getting the Manor back in order and clean.

"Sirius do you have Harry? If you do, can you bring him to Potter Manor, we thought that it would be too dangerous to stay at Godric's Hallow with it being half blown up." James said to his Patronus as he sent it to Sirius.

Next James and Lily went to wake up the house elves. James had two house elves Percy, and Daphne.

"Mister James, Mistress Lily you have finally returned we have waited so long for the mister and misses to return." Percy said.

"We've missed you too." Lily said as the house elves started to weep.

"The misses is too nice to us." Daphne said.

"Can you guys get the Manor back in order?" James asked.

"Of course, Master James." Percy said as they disapperated and started to clean up the manor.

"Now we just have to wait for Sirius to bring Harry to us." James said to Lily.

"Hopefully, it is Sirius who has Harry." Lily responded.

Sirius had just gotten back from Hogwarts from visiting Harry after the third task even though he didn't want to leave Harry as it was going to be hard for Harry as he had witnessed the return of Lord Voldemort. It was dangerous for him to stay at Hogwarts however because of all the ministry officials being there and him still being a wanted man it was far too dangerous of him being caught and thrown back into Azkaban. Sirius was about to go to bed but before he fell asleep, he received a Patronus from a stag and he couldn't believe who it was from.

Sirius was stunned at the Patronus that he received he couldn't wrap his head around it he felt like he shouldn't and should ignore it but, he held a little hope that it was true. Sirius was absolutely stumped at what he should do he could go by himself but, if it were death eaters he would be captured and, they would hold a huge bargaining chip as he knew Harry would do something stupid to get him. Sirius couldn't pass up this chance even if it was a trap but, he couldn't go alone. His first instinct was to go to Dumbledore, but he would take the way too logical approach and not let Sirius go. So, instead Sirius contacted Remus to go with him.

Remus received Sirius's message and immediately apparated to Sirius to find out what problem Sirius had.

"Sirius what's wrong?" Remus asked.

"I got a weird message today and I need to go meet someone but, I need backup just in case it's a trap can I trust you to be my backup?" Sirius responded.

"Sure, Sirius I'll be you're backup." Remus responded.

"Ok hold on." Sirius said as he apparated to Potter Manor.

"Sirius what are we doing at Potter Manor it's been in shut down since James and Lily went into hiding almost fifteen years ago." Remus asked Sirius

"The message I got was a Patronus stag we don't know anyone besides James and Harry has a stag Patronus I had to check." Sirius reasoned with Remus

"Sirius you saw their dead bodies there's no way they could be alive." Remus told Sirius.

"Remus, we have to check please." Sirius begged.

"Sirius, I saw them get buried their bodies are six feet underground I saw it myself." Remus said trying to talk some sense into Sirius.

"Please Remus." Was all that Sirius responded with.

"Fine." Remus said as they knocked on the door.

The door opened and they were shocked at what they saw.

"Percy?" Remus and Sirius asked.

"Master Sirius, Master Remus it is so good to see you." Percy said.

"How are you awake I thought James and Lily put you to sleep before they went into hiding?" Remus asked.

"Master James and Mistress Lily came and woke us up." Percy said.

"Can you take us to them?" Sirius asked.

"Of Course, Master Sirius." Percy said and bowed and led them to the sitting room.

Remus and Sirius couldn't believe what they saw in the sitting room waiting for them. They thought their eyes were playing tricks on them as they saw James and Lily sitting in the room alive and well drinking tea and had tea out for Sirius and Remus.
