Well my name is Jophiel, I am here at Hogwarts because my betrothed Draco Malfoy goes to school here. I and my friends all attend Salem Elite regularly. It is the most prestigious and expensive of all the wizarding schools. You must be the best of the best to get an invite to this school. Everyone who attends gets a nice long education where we get to master in different areas so it is easier and less schooling later on to get into our dream jobs.
Draco did get accepted to go here, but his parents said it would be better if he attending a school closer to home that way the summers he can work for his father. That's right most pureblood boys work with or for their parents to make money. Not that they get to spend it on themselves. No it goes to provide for their betrothed. They have to prove that they have the work ethique and the means to provide for their future brides lifestyle. I like to think I'm not to hard to provide for, but my school would put me over the edge of being a little more expensive.
You start at Salem at the age of 5 years old. And go till you are 17 or 18 depending on your birthday. In the first few years you are mastering the basics by the time you are 12 you can do everything someone from Hogwarts can do. Then comes the hard part for the next 3 years you are mastering wandless and wordless magic. And providing the elements. You can go back to the very first wizards and witches and create wind, fire, water and move the earth like they could. You of course have on that comes more naturally to you and that is the one you will work on mastering. Not saying you can't do all of them, but you can do one the best and easiest. During the last year doing that you will pick a career you want to go into like healing, or potion making or Hit wizard. There are so many options during the last two years you focus on mastering those.
We are spending our last year at Hogwarts to help them gain a reputation for housing the Elite of society. I will miss the manor that Salem is in. it is warm and filled with magic. We are walking though the platform. I see Draco and his parents and run over.
"Hello, Cissa" I say while curtseying.
"Hello, Josie. How are you today?" She askes smiling at me. Knowing we have to keep up appearances to be proper.
"I am well and how are you?" I reply back properly
"I am well" She replies.
I turn to Draco he bows taking my hand in his and kissing the top.
"Always a pleasure to be in your presence Jophiel." Draco sweet talks
"Thank you, Draco. You as well" I reply while blushing. Cissa is giggling behind her hand.
"You two better get on and find yourselves and friend a compartment before they all fil up." Narcissa says ushering us onto the train.
I look at her worried "Is not enough spaces common?" I ask
"No Josie, but first come get a compartment for just their friends. Others will have to share." Draco explains.
We both step on and look for an empty compartment near the end of the train. Draco says it will lead to others not bothering us as often. I sit down on one side of the compartment; Draco sits down beside me putting his arm behind my head. I look out the window and see my reflection. I am fit and curvy, with Wavy dirty blond hair. My best friend and I go on runs to keep fit. She is a chaser for the Salem Slytherin team. I just go to cheer her on and help her. She is Draco's best friend Blaize's betrothed.
I'm happy that this year I'm with Draco. Pervious years we would just send owls and talk on our mirror's. We bother we gifted from my mom and dad a pair of connected mirrors that allow us to talk to each other when we would like. We also have a pair of Journals that allow us to write to each other and it appears in the paired journal, his parents gifted that to us. We still like to send owls back and forth as well.
I see my best friends Lilly and Abbie walk into the compartment with Blaize and Theo trailing behind.
"Sorry, it took a while to find this loser" Lilly says pointing to Theo.
Theo gasps "Excuse you" he says with fake outrage as they take their seats.
"You're excused" Abbie says leaning into his side.
Her being his betrothed means we all hung out together a lot after we turned six. Abbie is a half blood. Because of that Abbie and I hung out a lot when we were younger. Lilly is a new blood as we call them. At Hogwarts they call them muggleborn's. I don't like the term. Lilly immediately hit it off with Abbie and I. Lilly's parents wanted her to fit in so they asked Abbie's and my parent's what they can do to help her fit in. my parents helped kick of the betrothal process for her and well here we are, thick as ever.
"What classes are you all taking this year?" Draco asks leaning back taking me to lean into his side like the other two couples.
"Well, I'm taking my last year to become a healer" Lilly says excitedly. I know she has been looking forward to this since she was ten years old.
"I'm doing my second year as a potion mistress. I should be able to finish in a year. Especially under your god father, Drake" I say looking up at him. He lightly kisses me on the lips.
"Abbie?" He asks.
"I'm still going for my curse breaking. I'm hoping I can go work in Egypt this time next year." She says
"I'm hoping I can be right along side her in a couple of years. I so wish I went to Salem Elite. That way I would be able to be done with schooling once I graduated." Theo whined
"Why didn't you go to Salem Theo? I know you got an invite" Draco asked
"Because after my mom died my dad wanted to keep me close to home." Theo explained.
We all chatted and read our textbooks for the rest of the journey to Hogwarts.
