Hey Guys! Crescent Rider here, and I welcome you all to my first ever Fate Stay Night/Overlord Story. For those who have read the details from 'The Day She Became The Malevolent Demon Lord'. Then I won't explain anything.

But for those who are new here, Here's what you need to know.

There is a certain poll I made in my profile, and the one with the most votes will become my next story after I've finished writing 'The Day She Became The Malevolent Demon Lord' story. One of those choices is the Overlord Franchise.

To those who might ask why it's there despite the fact that I'm already making one. Here's a short answer, If that choice got the most votes then I'll continue this story to Season 2 since I'll only be focusing on Season 1 for this story.

Great Tomb of Nazarick...

After the announcement of Yggdrasil's Impending Termination. Momonga, Guild Leader of Ainz Ooal Gown, was seen alone after a member, Herohero, had disconnected as he tended with his occupation.

Momonga remained alone for a brief moment, but he soon received a notification from his inbox.

[Notice: Hope has joined...]

Momonga was surprised by this player who joined in-game. This player may not be an official member of Ainz Ooal Gown, but he knows this person as the child of two Ainz Ooal Gown members.

After a brief moment, Momonga soon noticed someone arriving via teleportation, and the Overlord stood up from his chair.

The Player, Hope, soon appeared before him. As for her appearance, She's about 4 feet tall, has short albino hair, emerald eyes, a short stature, and her clothes consist of the following. A tube-top, and hot pants outfit, adorned with straps around her waist and legs, and four long spider legs on her back and folded like wings.

"Hello, Momonga-san. It's been a while, hasn't it?" Hope greeted,

"It is indeed, Hope-san..." Momonga greeted back, "How are your parents doing?"

"They're doing relatively fine despite their work overloading on them," Hope answered, "But as of late, They have become too busy that they told me to send their regards to you,"

"I see..." Momonga said, "But why are you here?"

Hope soon made a look of uncertainty and turns her head away at him for a brief moment. After a while, she sighs and turns back to him, "When I heard the announcement that Yggdrasil was shutting down soon, I was distraught to see it all go. So I've decided to come here and hope that I could spend the last remaining moments with anyone in my parents' guild,"

Then her avatar pops up a closed eye emoticon smiled to him, "Even if it's just you, Then that is enough for me,"

Momonga knew this emoticon anywhere, It was a pained smile suggesting that something has gone wrong in real life. Normally, he would question her. But he didn't as he didn't want to sour the mood around her.

"Very well, Shall we go to the Throne Room?" Momonga inquired,

"Umu~ I'll follow your lead," Hope responded,

Momonga then went to grab the Guild Weapon, The Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown, and escorted Hope out of the Round Table Room.

Just outside the doors were Sebas and the Pleiades standing idly. Each one of them was created separate members of Ainz Ooal Gown, and their sworn duty was to protect the floor before the Throne Room.

But with Yggdrasil's final moments, Momonga decided to give one last command for nostalgia purposes.

"Follow," Momonga commanded, and the NPC heed to his command,

The group marched across the hallway to the Throne Room, and Hope walked right beside him. But in a brief moment, Hope suddenly felt dizzy in-game and her body wobbled a bit as he pressed her hand onto her forehead.

"Are you okay?" Momonga questioned as soon as he noticed,

"Y-Yeah, I'm okay it's just..." Hope trails off as she waits for her mind to clear, then continued once she managed to do so, "I've been getting more and more tired in each passing day. It seems that my body has been taking its toll more frequently than normal,"

"Then would you like me to carry you?" Momonga asked,

"Are you sure? Even if the game is shutting down, its rules are still in effect," Hope said,

"I am well aware of it, but regardless of the rules. I wish to help you no matter what, It's what your parents wanted me to do, remember?" Momonga reminded,

Hope simply scoffed at that, and shrugged her shoulders as she recalled her parents' request to Momonga. Without another word spoken, Momonga lifted Hope off her feet with his free arm and continued their way to the Throne Room.

Upon arrival, Momonga stood in front of two large doors and automatically opens for him. In front of them were a great hall with large chandeliers on the ceiling, banners representing the insignia of every member of Ainz Ooal Gown, and a large throne at the very end of the hall.

Momonga then walked his way towards the throne while Hope took a moment to briefly glance at her parents' banner.

As he approached the throne, the two soon encounter the Overseer of the Floor Guardians, Albedo, standing nearby the throne.

Momonga then glanced at Sebas and the Pleiades as he tried to remember the commands of the game, "I think the command was 'Stand by', Right?"

Sebas and the Pleiades bowed, then took a few steps to the sides.

Momonga then sat down on the throne, then turns to Albedo. He soon wondered about her settings again and decided to do some inspecting regarding Albedo's setting.

Upon opening the window, Momonga skimmed through the settings due to her creator, Tabula Smaragdina, being a setting maniac. Hope could only giggle as she skimmed through the long list with no problem since she was a major bookworm IRL.

But as the settings reached the end, the two saw two sentences. The first was 'On the Outside, she is a perfect beauty,' and the second was 'By the way, on the inside, she's a bitch'.

Just by Momonga's movement, Hope could tell he sighing at Tabula's terrible setting. Thus, Momonga decided to change it by using the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown and set himself as the administrator.

As he thought about what to overwrite in the settings after removing the second sentence, Hope had already thought of one and tapped onto Momonga.

"What is it?" Momonga asked, and Hope displayed a message containing a possible change to Albedo's settings.

Momonga decided to go with it since it wouldn't matter and started typing it down Hope's suggestion. Afterward, Momonga closes the window and turns to the banners of each respective member of Ainz Ooal Gown.

One by one Momonga recited every member according to the order of banners while Hope simply listened to him. After he had finished, Hope soon spoke to him, "You miss them, don't you?"

Momonga stayed silent for a brief moment but soon responded to her question, "I do... But it couldn't be helped since they chose the real world over the virtual one,"

"Indeed, Even my father told me himself that he and my mom couldn't play with me anymore now that they had more important work to do," Hope stated,

"Which reminds me, How did you enter Nazarick so easily?" Momonga questioned, and Hope simply raised her hand and showed that she wore a ringer with the Ainz Ooal Gown emblem on it, "On second thought, I shouldn't have asked you,"

Despite Hope not being an official member of Ainz Ooal Gown, She was treated in a special way to all members of the guild. For her parents assisted with the creation of Nazarick's NPCs and Defenses far greater than any member of Ainz Ooal Gown.

All in return is that they welcome their daughter to Nazarick as equals despite her lacking one of the three criteria required to officially become a member.

Momonga then waited for the clock to reach midnight and planned to wake up absurdly early for work while Hope remained on his lap as the clock slowly reached 24-hour mark.

But as it draws near, Hope asked one last question in mind, "Hey, Momonga..."

"What is it?" Momonga asked,

"What is fun when it lasted?" Hope questioned,

Momonga went silent for a brief moment before giving his answer to her, "Yes... It was fun when it lasted,"

Hope smiled at that and waited for Yggdrasil to come to its end...

Without warning, Hope had suddenly gone still, her eyes shot wide open, then loses consciousness as she falls off of Momonga's lap to her left and creates a loud thud upon impact...

That marks the first chapter of a new Story, Everyone! If any of you have questions, let me know in the review section and I will respond in the next chapter.

Secondly, there will be a few changes in the Canon with my Character in all of this. That part's obvious but I won't tell you what it will be. Cause that's just spoiling the fun.
