The canonical characters from the "Harry Potter" books and movies belong to Joanne K. Rowling, as does the Wizarding World and all associated concepts. Ms. Rowling is utterly unaware that I or my stories exist, and is probably happier for it. This story is written to serve as nothing more than an outlet for one of my hobbies. I'm doing it because I felt like it and am not planning to realize any sort of monetary award for it.

The plot for "Harry Potter & The Search For Peace" is mine.

Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger left the Headmaster's office and walked towards the Gryffindor Common Room. The war was over. Lord Voldemort had been defeated. They had won. But the price of that victory was too high. Cedric Sirius Dumbledore Dobby Fred Remus Tonks Colin Harry repeated these names in his head. How will they ever be able to move on? Why hadn't the world ended? Why could he hear celebrations when people should be mourning?

Harry could no longer walk. He sat down on the floor, tears finally flowing freely. He cried for his parents whom he could barely remember. He cried for his godfather who had broken out of Azkaban, lived on rats, just so he could be near Harry. He cried for Remus Lupin, who in a world without Voldemort might have been his favourite uncle. He cried for Fred Weasley who was no less than a brother. He cried for Albus Dumbledore who planned his own death to defeat Voldemort. He cried for Nymphadora Tonks, Colin Creevey, Dobby the free elf, who were his friends.

He felt his two best friends sitting on the either side of him. He felt their hands encircling his body. He felt Hermione's head on his shoulder. He felt Ron patting his back. He knew they understood what he felt. He knew that they must be feeling the same. "I am sorry, Ron, for Fred…" he tried to apologise.

"Don't be a git, mate. It wasn't your fault," Ron slapped him on his back. The three friends sat there, holding each other as if their life depended on the other two. They had been each other's support for the past few months. There was no way they could be separated now.

Suddenly, the three friends heard footsteps. They separated and pulled their wands out, the boys slightly shielding the girl. In front of them were the remaining Weasleys. "What promise did you ask from me before my third year?" Harry asked the oldest man of the group. "Swear to me you won't go looking for Black. You never actually promised although," the man smiled painfully.

The three friends lowered their wands. As soon as they had done that, Harry found himself being attacked by George Weasley. Everyone tried to stop George, everyone except Harry himself. He blamed himself for the death of George's twin, Fred and wasn't surprised that George blamed him too. But the words that came out of George's mouth surprised him.

"Why was I made to feel that I had lost not one but two brothers in a single day?" George snarled. Harry looked at him dumbfounded as everyone paused in their efforts of separating George and Harry.
"He means you, Harry," Hermione spoke softly, "You are brother to all of us, Harry, except maybe Ginny." Ginny Weasley smiled at Hermione's words while Harry was shocked that the Weasleys did not hate him. Ron separated the two of them and said in a low voice, "We will talk about it in a private place. I don't want anyone else to hear us. Don't know about you, but I am done with Dark Lords."

George let Harry go and Harry felt himself being pulled in a strong motherly hug, along with Ron and Hermione. As the hug broke, Molly Weasley's eyes scanned the three of them. Their clothes were torn, covered in dirt and blood. They had grown too thin. Their body was covered with injuries.

"You three need to see Madam Pomfrey," Ginny spoke quietly. Everyone agreed and the three were taken to the Hogwarts nurse.

"I was wondering when I would see you, Mr Potter," Madam Pomfrey exclaimed. Ron and Hermione pushed Harry towards the screens Madam Pomfrey had already pulled up. Harry shook his head, "Hermione should go first."
"Harry, which is the worst Unforgivable Curse?" Hermione asked.
Harry pursed his lips and followed the nurse behind the screens.

"Do you mean that Harry was hit by the Killing Curse again?" Ginny asked, her eyes wide with shock. Ron and Hermione smiled softly.
