Set in the "To Arms" universe - but post story. Minako's picked up a choral part in a community theater production of the G&S Operetta Ruddigore. Almost immediately, the lead actress goes missing and Minako's suddenly got the lead role. But something dark and savage is lurking in the wings, stalking the production. Or maybe just Minako...Primarily around Minako and Seiji.

Hi guys. If you're still here reading, thank you so much. It makes me happy to know that people are reading and enjoying my stories. I really love writing them.

Recently, however, I've been struggling a lot with this. I'm not happy with the characters I've built. The worlds and the plots need work. And for a while I could ignore that and just happily bang away at things and then send out each draft pretty much sight unseen - the digital equivalent of closing my eyes and pressing the go button.

But as the stories (especially To Arms) kept winding farther and farther into directions, I came to the realization that I've let the plot dictate me, and not the other way around.

I do have another several chapters backlogged for To Arms (I tried to keep it this way so I could release at least once a week consistently), but I think I may put a halt to that and just...start tweaking earlier chapters and then maybe completely rewrite most of these stories. They need a lot of work. I thought I could be more carefree about them but uh...I guess my writer's conscience caught up with me and started kicking me around. I feel like I'm not being very authentic or true to the characters at all, and the inconsistencies and sloppiness are finally getting to me.

I know some of you are still avidly reading, and do look forward to updates. I haven't decided if I want to just drop everything, including those last chapters that are already written, or if I want to try something more fluid and maybe release a separate story with the edits and rewrites, eventually dovetailing the two versions together and having the newer version actually get to the ending. And hopefully, the ending will decide to come back from the ends of the earth and hang out at a more manageable distance for me.

Either way, I'll try not to make any moves that will prevent me from releasing SOMETHING for anyone who's looking for a story to read. I know how disappointing it is when I love a story that then is never finished. I've published an actual book before though, so it might take a while, but there's an end! I promise!

I'll also try to stockpile works again to hopefully keep things flowing when I am super busy or just...hung up on writer's block.
