Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto or anything else that goes with it. If I did I would have made the ending different and a little better. Or a lot better then with what we got in the original like with Kabuto, Orochimaru and Sasuke being dead for the crimes they committed. Chapter 8
Encounters and Revelations
At the gates of Konohagakure there were two guards sitting at their station bored out of their mind's as nothing was going on, wishing they were somewhere else to just sit and relax or hit on some cute girls. These two were Kotetsu Hagane and Izumo Kamizuki.
"Man this is so boring, it's times like these that I wish got a promotion so I could take an early vacation instead of just being the Hokage's errand boy or just sitting here at this stupid gate all day." Kotetsu whined as there wasn't much going on at the moment and honestly just wanted to goof off like Kakashi did at times.
Izumo frowned at his partner before speaking to him.
"You know that there is a lot going on with us dealing with the Akatsuki right now don't you? Especially after what those bastards did to Asuma."
His partner flinched when he remembered what had happen on that day as they had lost a good ally and a good friend. Many had mourned his passing, especially his nephew Konohamaru, and Kurenai Yuhi.
"Yeah I know that and there isn't a day that goes by that I wish we could go back in time to change that, especially with how Asuma's students had to deal with the loss of someone who was most likely a second father to all three of those kids."
Kotetsu's partner nodded as he remembered how Ino, Shikamaru and Choji had grieved for Asuma while trying to cope with the loss all three were going through. From what he heard Ino had cried quit a few times as she felt useless not being able to save him despite training under Tsunade but the granddaughter of Hashirama Senju had assured the young girl it wasn't her fault or her teammates for what happen.
Choji had barely eaten anything as he hadn't been around his favorite restaurant for a while but his parents managed to help him overcome his grief as both understood what it was like to lose someone close to you as Choza had told his son how he lost his own sensei and made an effort to honor his memory.
As for Shikamaru he wasn't doing much better as rumors went around saying how he and Temari had broke up though the reason for it wasn't known. Kotetsu didn't know what to do as he wasn't in a relationship with anyone but hope to get a girlfriend soon as he didn't want to die a virgin and he was sure his partner didn't either.
"Hey Kotetsu!"
Hearing his name being called he looked over to his partner who was waving his hand at him trying to get his attention.
"Sorry Izumo, I was thinking about Asuma's students and what they were going through right now. So what's up?"
"I was asking you if you knew if Shikamaru and his friends are doing okay now and if you knew the reason why he and Temari broke up?"
Izumo's long time friend shook his head no before answering him.
"Honestly I don't know anything about Shikamaru and Temari right except some rumors about those two. One of them is that Shikamaru broke up with Temari is because maybe he didn't want her to go through the same kind of grief Kurenai was going through or that it was because they lived far away from each other. It's just a bunch of dumb rumors though, nothing to take seriously."
Izumo nodded before gesturing for Kotetsu to continue, which he did.
"As for Choji and Ino, well Choji is starting to do better thanks to his parents since his old man knows what he is going through. While Ino's parents have helped her out along with Hokage-Sama giving them a hand to make sure she doesn't go off the deep end. Plus Choji is eating better again."
Izumo sighed in relief as that was good news in his honest opinion since he had seen a lot of good shinobi quit after such a traumatic experience or even ended up as revenge driving nut jobs just like Sasuke Uchiha.
Thinking about Naruto's former teammate cause the young Chunin to frown in disgust as he felt the little punk should have been put into the bingo book for turning traitor, especially when he heard about the retrieval team that Shikamaru and Naruto were apart of to get him back which ended in disaster.
"Hey Izumo you okay?"
Jolting in surprise from hearing Kotetsu he looked over and asked his friend, "Sorry were you saying something just now?"
"I was just asking what's wrong since you looked pissed about something."
Sighing Izumo decided to share his thoughts to his friend.
"I was just thinking over about Asuma's students and I'm glad they are not a bunch of revenge driving nuts like Sasuke was and honestly I don't like the little prick considering Shikamaru was a part of the retrieval team that went after him."
Kotetsu nodded since he had read the reports concerning the Uchiha and honestly felt that Naruto was going after a lost cause. Regardless of how the kid felt, Sasuke should have been marked in the bingo book as he became a traitor like his older brother.
Deciding to change the subject he decided to bring up Naruto.
"By the way Izumo have you heard about Naruto lately?"
"Well not much other then the same old same old, but from what I heard he's finally dating someone."
"Seriously, did he finally managed to get the Hokage's apprentice to say yes to him?"
Izumo shook his head before replying.
"Nope it isn't Sakura but somebody I never expected to finally get the blonde knucklehead."
Kotetsu gave a confused look as he figured it was Sakura considering all the times Naruto had pestered the pink haired kunoichi for a date and wondered who it could be instead of her?
Before he could ask his friend who it was he heard someone approaching the gate and turned to see Naruto and Hinata...holding hands together?!
The two Chunin couldn't believe what they were seeing as they believed that Naruto only had eyes for Tsunade's apprentice Sakura and the two were wondering if this was a genjutsu. They soon noticed Naruto waving at them causing the two to wave back in kind.
Naruto and Hinata approached them and signed in at the gate. Kotetsu couldn't help but decided to ask the young young shinobi a question that came to mind.
"Hey Naruto how's it going and sorry to ask this but what's up with you and Hinata?"
The blond shinobi could only smile before responding.
"Let's just say that a friend of mine helped me find out that there was someone out there for me and opened up my eyes."
He looked back at Hinata smiling as the Hyuga heiress smiled back while blushing at him. This caused Kotetsu's eyes to widen in surprised seeing the look that the two gave each other.
( No frigging way! Did that blond knucklehead finally find out that Kurenai's student has the hots for him?! )
Kotetsu wasn't the only one as his partner even had a surprised look on his face. While he didn't believe at first since he believed it was just a rumor what he saw standing before him was shocking enough. The next thing the Chunin knew was that Naruto walked up to Hinata and embraced her in a hug and before they knew it the two kissed each other!
The two men's jaws dropped at what they saw and before either of them could speak a loud voice caught everyone's attention.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!"
This caused everyone to look at the sound of the outburst, which happen to be Sakura Haruno and she did not look happy.
A few minutes earlier...
Sakura Haruno was making her way over to Kotetsu and Izumo as Tsunade had asked her to retrieve the two Chunin for an assignment that was required of them and that she was to aide the two. It was a C-Rank mission concerning a merchant from Tea Country as he required protection for him and his family.
She then thought about Naruto and his own mission he had with Hinata which was to observe the Vegetable Daimyo Haruna as there was suspicion about an assassin after her. She honestly hope that there wasn't one or that Naruto would do anything stupid to mess it up like a few of his other missions.
( I just hope that Hinata can put up with him or at least make sure he doesn't do anything reckless. Honestly what does she see in him?)
It was then that Sakura thought about the rumors going around with Hinata dating Naruto causing her to frown as she didn't believe them for one minute. To her Naruto was to dense and even stupid at times realize the Hyuga heiress's feelings for him. It didn't bother her as Naruto was more focused on her since they were kids.
She shook her head wondering why she was getting worked up about this as she didn't have those kind of feelings for Naruto. Sasuke was the only one for her as she knew deep down that when they got him back to Konohagakure that things would go back to how they were and he might even open up to her.
Sakura wouldn't admit it to anyone but she did enjoy it at times when Naruto chased after her as she seen it as inner motivation for herself though she would go off on him when he got annoying. Another thing she wouldn't admit is she was a little jealous dew to all the praise and accomplishments he made in many other places. Still she was the student of Tsunade and unlike Naruto's teacher she took to training her students seriously though there were times she did sleep and drink herself off at least once or twice.
She was soon at the gate and noticed both Naruto and Hinata coming but the noticed that the two were holding each other's hands which caused her to look confused and surprised.
( What the heck is going on here and why are those two holding each others hand? )
As she got closer she couldn't make out what Naruto was saying to Kotetsu and Izumo but when she got closer her eyes widen in disbelief when Naruto turned around and kissed Hinata!
The pink haired kunoichi couldn't understand or believe what was going on but the only it did do was make her angry and she made it well known as always by what she does, shouting.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!"
Present time...
The group that was gathered at the gate didn't know what to say or do when they heard Sakura shout in anger considering the look on her face. Naruto was the first to break the silence.
"Sakura what's the matter?"
Tsunade's apprentice noticed that Naruto didn't call her Sakura-chan like before but just shook it off before glaring at him.
"You're asking me what's wrong? Just what the heck are you doing kissing Hinata like that?!"
Naruto gave her a confused look before he frowned.
"What's the big deal about me wanting to give Hinata-chan a kiss? If anything we just started dating a few weeks ago."
The pink haired kunoichi couldn't believe what she just heard.
"Wait you two are actually dating?"
"Yes we are and honestly I don't see why your getting upset over me kissing her."
Standing behind Naruto Hinata couldn't help but frown as well as she wondered why Sakura would be upset with what she just saw the two of them do and figured she would be glad Naruto wasn't bothering her anymore? Then a thought came to mind.
( I'm wondering if she did have feelings for Naruto-Kun or that she only enjoyed the attention he gave her when it suited her. )
Any other thought she had was cut off by Sakura who was yelling once again.
"The big deal is that you are probably just dating her to get me jealous which is the stupidest thing you can ever think of and your just using her!"
Naruto glared at her which caused Sakura to step back in surprise as he never glared at her.
"You honestly believe I would do something that low and shallow for something like that to get a date with you Sakura?" Naruto asked as he couldn't believe that she think something like that of him.
The pink haired kunoichi glared back and responded.
"Of course you would do something like this! Kami-Sama you haven't changed at all you're still just as annoying as you were three years ago!"
As Sakura began ranting, Naruto was starting to get frustrated and angry after what she said toward him. He really wanted to get away from her right now as he didn't want to do something he may or may not regret to her.
"Sakura..." Naruto started in a low growl but it seemed she wasn't listening as she kept talking.
"You have got to be the biggest and most selfish idiot there is in this village right now Naruto! I thought you cared about getting Sasuke-Kun back!"
"Sakura will you just..." Naruto started to say but was cut off by the pink haired kunoichi who was still ranting her anger toward him.
"I honestly don't even know what the hell Hinata or any girl would see in someone like you because I wouldn't want to be caught in public because you would only embarrass me!"
Before the pink haired kunoichi could say anything else Naruto finally had enough of her attitude and snapped!
"SAKURA WOULD YOU JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LISTEN ALREADY!"
This made everyone present jump as the didn't expect this out of Naruto or that he would ever say something like that to Sakura. Everyone also saw that he was glaring at Sakura with such rage that they thought he grew a second head. Tsunade's apprentice felt scared and even a little angry that he would yell at her like that and before she could say anything Naruto spoke in a cold tone.
"Sakura I may act like fool sometimes and even do some stupid things but the one thing I would NEVER do is lead someone on like you do or even play with anyone's feelings. Especially the feelings Hinata-chan has for me."
This caused Sakura to take a step back as she never thought Naruto would say something like that to her. He was always so affectionate toward her and was willing to do anything to help but the way he was acting now was the opposite.
"Ever since I came back to Konohagakure I was hoping that you would be more open to me as a friend and would treat me as an equal. But now I'm starting to wonder if all I am to you is just someone you can take your frustrations out on because you can't get your way sometimes, especially when it deals with Sasuke."
"W-W-What are you talking about you Naruto? I do see you as friend but..." Sakura stammered before she was interrupted by him.
"But what?! You see me as a friend but you call me names and say I'm annoying? I will admit I could have cut back a few times when I asked you on a date. I was trying to be nice to you when we were growing up because I did like you. I even helped you get back your locket from Ami when we were kids or did you forget about that?"
Sakura flinched as she did remember that it was Naruto who got it back to her and it was one of the kindest acts he did for her. She did thank him for it and decided to remind him.
"Naruto I remember that so why..."
"But do you remember what happen after that? It was when I was arguing with you about ending your friendship with Ino which was stupid and when you didn't like what I said to you, you decided to punch me and say the cruelest thing to me ever while forgetting that I'm an orphan as well!"
Sakura realized she had forgotten about that as she was more focused on her rivalry with Ino for Sasuke's affectations. She then noticed the looks that Hinata, Izumo and Kotetsu were giving her and they were not friendly.
The two Chunin's frowned at Tsunade's apprentice as they knew Naruto had it rough as a child, not to mention both men lost their parents during the Third Shinobi World War. Hinata glared at Sakura with such anger as she remembered all too well all the poor treatment and abuse she gave Naruto. Then blonde shinobi didn't notice the looks the others had as he was focused on his teammate and continued to speak his mind.
"Now that I think about it Sakura you never once thanked me for anything except for when I got your locket back because after that you just looked at me as something to take your frustrations out on!"
"That's not true! I don't know where you came up with something so stupid." Sakura argued back at him.
"Oh really? What about when I brought back Tsunade-Baachan to heal Sasuke after he tried to kill his brother but failed at it while ending up getting put into a damn coma! You went crying your eyes out for him hugging him but never even bothered to thank me for that!"
Sakura couldn't say anything about that as she remembered that since she was more focused on wanting to be with Sasuke. She did mean to thank Naruto for it later but had forgotten about it.
"But that wasn't the only thing as there was also the time I saved you from Temari's brother Gaara when he was going on a rampage during the invasion from three years ago because of that prick Orochimaru."
Sakura looked at him confused for a minute before glaring at him.
"What are you talking about Naruto? It was Sasuke-Kun who saved me!"
"You honestly still believe that?! It was me who saved you! Even Temari and Gaara can tell you the same thing since they were there!"
"He...He was just being humble." Sakura weakly protested as she was starting to feel angry and even more upset with what was happening.
Naruto snorted as he heard enough out of her and decided to end it.
"You know what Sakura I honestly don't care what you think or even say anymore because as far as I'm concerned your just an ungrateful shallow bitch!"
"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME?!" The pink haired kunoichi screeched as she was starting to see red as she never thought he would call her that.
"YOU HEARD WHAT I SAID!" Naruto yelled in rage which caused Sakura to take a step back as she could tell his eyes were going red. Hinata who was staying silent this whole time walked up to Naruto and gently placed a hand on his shoulder before speaking to him.
"Naruto-Kun come on let's just go see Hokage-Sama and report to her. She isn't worth arguing with right now."
Jiraiya's student sighed before nodding as he and Hinata started to walk away leaving a stunned kunoichi who was watching as the two walked off. As the two were leaving Sakura's face took on a look of disgust and anger toward the two. Sakura didn't know how to handle this so she ended up doing what she would whenever Naruto would upset her.
( Just who does he think he is to talk to me like that? )
( Cha! Let's bash his stupid face in! )
"NARUTO NO BAKA!"
The pink haired kunoichi ran toward the two who were leaving as she intended to punch the blonde in the face ignoring the shouts of Kotetsu and Izumo for her to stop.
Naruto and Hinata turned around to see Sakura running at them with anger in her eyes and hearing the other two Chunin for her to stop. Sakura was getting close and what happened next was something no one would ever expect to happen.
WHAM!
Sakura was knocked back several feet from the two with her face swelling up on her right side! Landing on her rear she looked up with shock and a bit of fear to see who had struck her. Standing in front of Naruto was Hinata who went and delivered a viscous right hook instead of her usual Juken style attack. Naruto was shocked to see what she did as he would never expect her to do that.
"W-What did you do that for?!" Sakura yelled as she slowly got back to her feet while still holding the right side of her face.
"Because you were about to punch Naruto-Kun for most likely the stupidest reason Haruno. Naruto-Kun was only telling you how he felt and he had every right to insult you when you started insulting him! If anything you deserved it for all the times you hit Naruto for the pettiest of reason or you would hit him for no reason at all!"
"That's because he's an idiot who always does stupid things Hinata! He even ruined mission's that he was on with your team!" Sakura argued back not liking how the Hyuga heiress was dressing her down, even though it was an honest fact.
"What happen on those mission's were not his fault like with the Bikochu. It was a simple accident and it isn't like he can control his bodily functions to prevent something like that happening."
The pink haired kunoichi glared at Hinata and had enough of her mouthing off to her like she was some spoiled child that didn't get her favorite treat after dinner. With a furious scream she ran toward Hinata with the intent to teach the snobbish heiress a lesson.
Hinata however wasn't going to stand for Sakura's nonsense and took a stance ready to fight back against Tsunade's apprentice. She honestly didn't want to hurt someone Naruto had considered a friend but a small part of her wanted to slap the girl several times when she abused and insulted Naruto more then once.
Sakura came in swinging with a right fist at Hinata but the young Hyuga dodge the blow then counterattacked with several palm strikes to the side. Two hit her left side while the third hit her in the face. This staggered Sakura a bit which caused Hinata to land three more Juken strikes to the chest before lashing out with a kick to the stomach that sent Sakura back a few feet.
The pink haired kunoichi landed hard on her back as she gasped for air. Shaking her head she staggered to get back to her feet while glaring at the heiress of the Hyuga Clan. With a shout of rage she charged forward again only this time she leaped into the air and swung her fist downward toward the ground causing it to break apart, sending some chunks of the ground everywhere.
This sudden attack had caused everyone who was present to jump away from where Sakura had struck with Hinata leaping backwards to the entrance of the gate while keeping her eyes focused on Sakura, her Byakugan eyes now activated and glaring at what Sakura did.
"Really Sakura? Are you that petty that you would go that far to kill me or put me in the hospital just because I won't let you hurt Naruto-Kun for giving his opinions? I'm starting to believe you would betray everyone that you know just to be with Sasuke."
Sakura glared at the Hyuga heiress for that remark as she felt insulted.
"Just who do you think you are to judge me you bitch? Do you have any idea what I had to put up with that idiot who just screws things up for everybody because he wants to be the center of attention?!"
"That's a joke coming from you considering how all you ever did was cry and barely put in the effort to train and help your teammates! It wasn't until Sasuke abandon the village did you even bother to take your career as a shinobi seriously while Naruto-Kun was serious about his goals and didn't let those who belittle him stop him from getting stronger."
"I don't need to listen to this crap! When I'm done with you I'm going to give that idiot what he deserves!"
With that said the pink haired girl ran forward intent on bashing the Hyuga's head in for getting in her way. Hinata however wasn't going to stand around taking such abuse and stood at the ready for the next attack.
Sakura took a swing at Hinata, which Kurenai's student dodged stepping to the left. Sakura then threw four more punches while lashing out with a high kick to the face. The Hyuga heiress slapped away the first three while blocking the forth but the kick landed causing her to stumble back a little but managed to recover her footing.
Tsunade's apprentice threw another right hook going to Hinata's face but it missed it's mark and that's when Sakura was kneed right in the face causing her to fall on her back. Slowly sitting up she felt something wet on her face and reached up to see what it was. When she touched her face she winced in pain since the spot was on her nose. Looking at her hand she was shocked to see her own blood which she realized her nose was broken!
Hinata stood a few feet back still in a defensive stance waiting for the next attack as she knew that Sakura would be extremely angry at what she did to her. Her opponent didn't disappoint her as Sakura got up in a rage while screaming and running towards her in a rage filled attack.
This time however Hinata charged forward intent on finishing the fight with Tsunade's apprentice. When the two were close together Hinata ducked under one of Sakura's punches before lashing out with a well placed Juken strike to the stomach causing the pink haired girl to lose her breath from the blow. It didn't end there as Hinata followed up with five more hits with two to the chest, three to the face causing Sakura to stagger back even more. Before she could do anything to put up a defense Hinata delivered a jumping roundhouse kick right across Sakura's head causing her to fly back landing several feet outside the gate. Hinata's opponent staggered to get up but ended up collapsing on the ground showing that she was down for the count.
Hinata took a few deep breath's to calm herself before taking a neutral stance before looking over at Naruto who had a look of absolute shock on his face.
"Are you all right Naruto-Kun?"
Jiraiya's apprentice shook his head out of his stupor before going up to her grasping her hands and giving her a look of concern and a bit appreciation.
"That's something I should be asking you Hinata-chan! Man you just knocked her out like it was nothing!"
Hinata blushed before taking on a serious look.
"I honestly didn't enjoy having to do that to her but I wasn't about to just stand by and let her hurt you again like that for no reason Naruto-Kun. I'm afraid we will have to tell this to Tsunade-Sama when we see her but we should take her to the hospital first."
"There will be no need for that as I can make sure she is taken there while I talk with you two."
Both of them turned to the sound of another voice and were shocked to see the Hokage herself standing there with Shizune along with Kotetsu and Izumo who looked worried.
"Tsunade-Baachan! How long have you guy's been standing there?"
"I just witnessed my apprentice getting her ass handed to her by Hinata. Izumo and Kotetsu had Shunshin to me while you two were distracted and we got here to witness the whole thing without you two noticing."
Hinata winched as she felt like she was in big trouble and was worried that Naruto would be in trouble as well because of what happen between her and Sakura. The female Hokage noticed the young woman's look of distress and decided to put her at ease.
"I'm not going to punish you Hinata as I want to her what happen from you along with Naruto and Sakura when she recovers though it may be a while. Izumo and Kotetsu only told me that you two started fighting so I want to hear the whole story on why this started."
Tsunade then gesture a hand at her falling apprentice.
"Shizune take Sakura to the hospital to be checked up as I will take Naruto and Hinata with me to my office. When she wakes up tell her I want her to come to my office and explain why she was fighting with one of her allies."
It was then that Kotetsu spoke up.
"Hokage-Sama Izumo and I would like to tell you what happen as well since we were here when it started so that you will hear from all sides from both parties."
The female Hokage thought about it before nodding to him and then looked back at the other two.
"I'll be in my office for the moment and this had better be good."
With that said Tsunade Shunshin backed to her office as everyone made their way to her office though Shizune took Sakura to the hospital to make sure that she didn't suffer any serious injuries.
Two hours later...
Tsunade sat at her desk as she eyed the group before here which consisted of Naruto and everyone who was at the front gate. Shizune stood beside her with Tonton in her arms as she was a little nervous right now and it showed as she looked at Sakura who had a frown and would glare at Hinata and Naruto.
The pink haired kunoichi was wearing a bandage around her nose from her fight with Hinata though luckily Shizune was able to fix it but she could tell she was sore everywhere.
Naruto and Hinata showed no signs of being bothered though if they were aware it seemed they chose to ignore her and were more focused on the Hokage in front of them. Finally Tsunade spoke up.
"All right I want to know what the hell happen that made two of my own shinobi trying to bash each others brains out and this better not be something petty or even stupid. Izumo and Kotetsu I'll start with you two, then Naruto and Hinata, then Sakura you will speak last."
The two Chunin nodded as both men took turns on what had transpired at the beginning when Naruto and Hinata had arrived at the gate stating they were surprised to see the two holding hands together when Kotetsu had asked what was going on between them and repeating what the blond Uzumaki said to them before kissing her. They then witnessed the argument between him and her apprentice before the fight started which caused the two to go in search of her and Shizune before all them return to witness the fight.
"After which we asked you if we should jump in to stop this before it got out of hand though you told us not to unless things got serious if they drew weapons." Izumo finished with his partner nodding at her.
Tsunade looked over to Jiraiya's apprentice while noticing he was holding the Hyuga heiress's hand as if he was worried for her or giving her emotional support though she did spot her own student sending sneers for it once or twice during the two Chunin's explanation.
"All right Naruto I want to hear from you about what happen and why you acted the way you did toward your teammate. Hinata you can add in whatever you have to say as well."
The young man in front of her sighed before nodding and began telling her what happen, his story matching with the two Chunin with Hinata adding her own input with what she and Sakura said toward each other. When the two were finished Tsunade looked over to her apprentice with a look that made the pink haired kunoichi gulp.
"I heard from them now I want to hear from you Sakura."
Tsunade's apprentice also began with what happen from when she got her mission from her to the event's that took place at the gate and the fight between her and Hinata which she was embarrassed to say she lost to the Hyuga heiress.
After everyone had giving their report of what happen the female Hokage began to rub both sides of her head feeling a migraine coming on before sighing.
"With everything I have heard today right now I'm very disappointed with how one of my own kunoichi didn't behave in a professional manner and decided to handle the situation so poorly while putting one of their comrades in danger."
Jiraiya's apprentice became alarmed as he suddenly got worried for Hiashi Hyuga's daughter, causing him to speak up.
"Tsunade-Baachan wait a minute! Hinata-chan might have gone a little overboard with Sakura but she wasn't the one who started the fight in the first place!"
"Naruto stop trying to make excuses for you and her! Your the one who shouldn't have been fooling around with her just to get me jealous!" Sakura shouted at the blond as she was still sore from the beating she received.
"Why don't you shut up already you banshee! I already told you I'm not fooling around with anyone's feelings and right now I'm ready to slap you myself for all the times you hit me for no reason!" Naruto shouted back as he was getting really tired of his teammates attitude already, especially with how she believed he was using Hinata like that.
"Don't you speak to me like that you idiot!"
"Then don't go spouting bullshit like a spoiled brat!"
"BOTH OF YOU SHUT THE HELL UP!"
Everyone jumped in fright at the sound of Tsunade's voice before seeing the aggravated look on her face which showed she was getting angry along with being annoyed at what was happening. Taking a deep breath the female Hokage looked at Naruto before speaking again.
"Naruto you really need to learn keep quiet and let people finish before you speak out with the wrong idea like with what Sakura did when she was on her way to meet up with Kotetsu and Izumo."
This caused Kakashi's students to look at her in surprise before her apprentice spoke out in confusion.
"Tsunade-Sama what do you mean by that?"
The blond Hokage stared at her apprentice with a look that caused the pink haired kunoichi to squirm and she did not look at all happy as she spoke in a tone like one was scolding their own children.
"Before Naruto interrupted me considering I know how protective he gets of with his friends and few loved ones, I wasn't talking about Hinata Sakura. I was talking about YOU."
This caused Sakura to take a step back in shock before stuttering a reply.
"H-H-Hokage-Sama what are you saying? Why are you saying I'm the one your disappointed in?"
The blonde Hokage gave the pink haired kunoichi a glare before responding.
"Do you really need to ask Sakura? You went and attacked your teammate over something so petty and childish which you should have ignored as it shouldn't have mattered if Naruto was dating Hinata or not, but you decided that it was okay to attack him. As for what Hinata did to you which you shouldn't be surprised as I would have done the same thing if Shizune or anyone else I cared for was attacked."
Her student couldn't help but gulp nervously as she started to realize that acting the way she did was not appropriate of a Chunin and Tsunade's next words were something she would regret hearing.
"As of this moment Sakura Haruno you are suspended for the next three months for what assaulting a Genin and a Chunin without cause and you will be fined fifty thousand Ryo for assaulting both Naruto and Hinata."
"Tsunade-Sama that's not fair!" Sakura protested her mentor.
"Would you rather I demote you back down to Genin for this stunt? Also I will make sure Kakashi hears about this as I know he won't be happy about with how you acted today."
The female Hokage then looked over to the rest of her shinobi.
"Izumo and Kotetsu you may return to your post for now. Naruto and Hinata you two may take the next week off though be ready in case there is another mission that may need one of you."
"Hai Hokage-Sama!" The group before her spoke at once.
"All of you are dismissed. Shizune I want you to get in contact with either Ten-Ten or Ino as one of them can join Izumo and Kotetsu for the C-Rank mission as Haruno is now on suspension."
Sakura wanted to speak out on that but remained silent as she knew she was in enough trouble because of how she acted. She could only guess on how Kakashi would react to the news.
"All of you are dismissed for now." Tsunade spoke up to everyone.
The shinobi in front of her bowed before leave with Sakura in the lead as she didn't want to be around her teammate or anyone else at the moment. When the whole group had left Shizune turned toward her mentor to ask a question.
"Tsunade-Sama while I don't condone her actions don't you think you could have just suspended Sakura for her actions toward Naruto and Hinata?"
Her mentor sighed before responding.
"I don't think that would have been enough for her Shizune and honestly her actions against Naruto were uncalled for since it shouldn't have mattered who he was going out with. Besides she had complained to me a few times about how he used to bother her for dates but now she makes a big deal about him going out with Hinata?"
"Maybe she had low self esteem since we have read her profile before and may have liked getting the attention from Naruto. But now it seems he's decided to move on instead though it didn't help that she had a crush on Sasuke."
Tsunade sighed again hearing what Dan's niece had to say.
"Sakura might have had feelings for the blonde knucklehead but she missed her chance and I'm just glad the kid is finding love somewhere else instead of ending up in a relationship that could have only been abusive on him."
Shizune thought about it and had to agree as there were times that Sakura had hit Jiraiya's apprentice for little to no reason. Naruto could be a handful but he was a good person at heart who looked out for those he cared for. With nothing else to say Shizune bowed to her mentor and left to carry out the rest of her tasks.
With Naruto and Hinata...
"Man I'm glad that you didn't get suspended or fined like she did Hinata-chan. I just hope that Sakura will leave us alone for a while or not bother us at all for anything."
"I hope so too Naruto-Kun but I honestly wish that didn't happen as I know you still consider her as a friend."
He nodded as while he no longer felt any romantic feelings toward the pink haired kunoichi he wanted to at still be friends with her though her attitude toward him was starting to get on his nerves. He could only hope that things would change between them for the better.
The two were making their way over to a tea shop for some tea and sweets to help take their minds off of what happen today when they came back from their mission and their encounter with Sakura. It was then that Hinata noticed someone approaching them and was surprised to see who it was. Naruto noticed her look wondering what was going on before he heard his name being called out.
"Hey Naruto! I've been looking for you and Hinata while waiting for you both."
Looking forward he saw that it was his friend Shikamaru walking toward them while noticing he seemed to be a lot better then how he was before.
The son of Yoshino and Shikaku made his way over to the two as he hoped to have a talk with Naruto and Hinata concerning their relationship with Kurenai beside them. As he made his way over he noticed the two holding hands together and couldn't help but smirk.
As for Naruto and Hinata they made their way over to him wondering what the young Chunin wanted to see them for? As soon as they were a foot apart from one another Naruto spoke first.
"So what's up Shikamaru? You look to be doing a little better considering with...You know?"
"Kurenai and I need your help on something and it concerns Temari. So do you think you can meet me at Kurenai's apartment when you can?"
The two lovers were now a little worried for their friend, especially Hinata as she considered Kurenai like a second mother to her. She then spoke up.
"When would you like us to meet with you two?"
"You can meet us in half an hour as she wanted to get something for us to drink."
Naruto gave a nervous smile.
"Just no alcohol okay buddy?"
The young Nara couldn't help but laugh a little while giving his friend a look that said [ You're shitting me right? ]
This caused the three friends to laugh and they all nodded agreeing to meet up later.

Well I'm back everyone. I'm sorry for the delay as I have mentioned in my newest story Stress Relief that 2020 has been a really shitty year for me and I'm sure a lot of you have felt that. It sucked that a lot of good people had died that year such as D.M.X. , Brodie Lee, Jeremy Bulloch and then we had the passing of these other celebrity's such as Betty White, John Madden. I could go on but you understand what I mean.
There is one thing I will never forgive and forget what happen last year as on this month around January 6 was when there was an insurrection that happen at the White House. All those fuckers who rioted the White House should burn in hell or be locked up for life in prison. This happen because Donald Trump, or as I like to call him Donald Cunt, was nothing but a sore loser who couldn't accept the fact he lost the election fairly and went spouting out bullshit. I wish this idiot was locked up in prison already or would just disappear for good. Sorry I had to get that off my chest.
I've also been reading a lot of new manga series and watching a lot of anime too to help me get creative and escape reality at times. I especially enjoyed Demon Slayer along Way of the Household Husband. I was laughing my ass off. Plus I have read up to 18 volumes of That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime. I've also read some Fire Force, My Hero Academia, I'm waiting on Volume 30 and Tales Of Demons and Gods. I could go on but I think you get what I mean so I'll skip the anime I've seen.
Before I forget I want to thank KingKakashi for helping me out on this chapter as I was stuck on how to write this so he gave me some suggestion's and I went with it. I hope that he is all right along with a few friends I know.
In any case I'm going to get my ass in gear and try to finish this story along with updating my other works. I never thought this story would go so far as I only wanted it to be a one shot but what can I say?
