bopdog111: My favorite Daedra Artifact is here.
Ulrich362: Interesting, it isn't my personal favorite but it's a good one to be sure.
bopdog111: It's also a short one but we have some other things here too. Let's see what happens here.
Ulrich362: Makes sense to me, enjoy the chapter.
Disclaimer: We don't own The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim but we own the OCs!
Noel, Madanach, and Borkul walked together down the stage, and into a small farm where they see a blue robed priest being apprehended by two Forsworn as he looked over to them before Noel asked him, "Your name is Logrolf correct?"
"You, you set me free?" the priest asked. "Then you understand the importance of what I have to do."
"Quite the opposite Logrolf. I only brought you here, not intending to set you free." Noel told him, "For you see your who the Lord of Domination wants to see one more time."
Logrolf stared at Noel. "Is that so, well I don't fear Molag Bal. I am under the protection of The Dark Mistress herself, he holds no power over me."
"We will see about that." Noel said before telling the two Forsworn apprehending the Priest, "Bring him with us."
With that they all went into a small side Abandoned House opening the door with ease as they went down into the basement where they see a black shrine is there with a Demon on it. Noel turned to the Forsworn saying, "Wait here." He walked to the altar kneeling down, "Lord Molag Bal... I've come to bargain."
"This is certainly a surprise, of all mortals to come to my altar it's the Wolf Queen's pet." a voice spoke into his mind. "Come to ask for her soul from Coldharbour?"
'He knows about that? Then again Coldharbour is his Domain.' Noel thought before he said, "As much as I would like that... she isn't what I want now. What I want, is what's on your altar. Your Mace." He stares at the rusted mace as he said that.
"My mace?" Molag Bal questioned. "You can see it's rusted away and lacks its former glory, you can thank Boethiah for that, one of her priests has desecrated this altar."
"Unless of course you restore it once that same priest submits... And for my end of the bargain I offer you this." Gesturing over the two Forsworn apprehending Logrolf stepped forward before throwing the Priest down in front of the altar where Noel told the Daedra Lord, "I offer the soul of the same Priest that desecrated your shrine, and rid your Mace of it's power. Logrolf the Willfull!"
Everyone could hear Molag Bal's laughter at that. "Very well, take my Mace and make him submit to me and offer his eternal soul and you can have it to do what you see fit."
Noel takes the Mace from the Altar as he turned to Logrolf before he grinned, "Let's see how long you can keep that will of yours." With that he starts beating him with the Mace of Molag Bal while Madanach, Borkul, and the two Forsworn watch.
Eventually Logrolf cried out as he succumbed to the blows.
"What now, he's dead." Borkul pointed out.
They hear Molag Bal laughing as their view became inverted as he called, "Ah ha ha! You mortals and your frail, limp, pathetic bodies. Try it again."
They see Logrolf is alive again which Noel grinned before starting to beat him again with the Mace this time being careful of how hard he hits. Despite his best efforts to control himself Noel eventually killed Logrolf again but he could see the old man was near his breaking point. Their vision became inverted again where Logrolf is revived as Noel lifted the mace again to beat him more.
Seeing that he started trembling in fear. "Please enough, I submit Molag Bal, I submit!"
"You bend to me?"
"Yes!" Logrolf cried desperately.
"You pledge your soul to me?"
"Yes!" he cried.
"You forsake the weak and pitIFUL BOETHIAH!?"
The two Forsworn, Borkul, and Madanach watched as Logrolf with pure terror in his eyes nodded.
"Yes!" he said fearfully.
They all could've sworn they feel Molag Bal smirking, "You're mine now, Logrolf." That was before he directed to Noel, "Kill him."
Hearing that Noel raised the mace one last time and slammed it into Logrolf's head as hard as he could instantly killing him.
"Sorry, just following orders." Noel said to Logrolf's corpse.
"The Mace of Molag Bal! I give you its true power, mortal." The mace glowed as Noel stared at it while Molag Bal said to him, "When your enemies lie broken and bloody before you, know that I will be watching."
Noel stared before swinging it a few times before twirling it around his hand looking before smiling bowing to the altar, "Thank you, Lord Molag Bal."
"You're an interesting mortal, now then I have a soul in Oblivion that needs claiming." Molag Bal told him as his voice faded.
"Take care of the house while I am gone..." was his last words before laughing away.
Noel looked at the Mace of Molag Bal as he grinned, "That's one for the books."
(Obtained: The Mace of Molag Bal!)
Noel then turned to the four, "Now starting off, I would like for some of your finest brothers to live here for now on Madanach. As a way of Lord Molag Bal's blessing to keep them safe."
He just nodded thoughtfully at that.
With the Mace of Molag Bal now in their possession they all moved setting forth new policies, and laws to make sure Markarth will be as peaceful, and civil as possible without any old wounds trying to kill them. Meanwhile far off nearby was a Imperial Scout who was spying before he rode on his horse, "Hyah! Back to Solitude now!"
The horse neighed riding off arriving to a city running in through the streets arriving at a large tower, "General Tulius sir!"
"Yes, what is it?" Tullius asked while looking over a map of Skyrim.
"It's something urgent sir! After one of our scouts near Markarth lost contact, I went to investigate, and Markarth seems to be taken over." the Scout told him.
"What?" Tullius questioned in shock hearing that. "Damn, Ulfric shouldn't have been able to mobilize so quickly after what happened at Helgen. We need to regroup and send more soldiers, he won't catch us off guard again."
The Scout only shook his head, "No... it wasn't the Stormcloaks sir."
"If it wasn't them who was it?" questioned a Nord woman in Imperial armor.
"It looked to be the Forsworn, the Barbarian Lot from the Reach that the Stormcloaks driven out of Markarth years ago only their being lead by a lad in Madanach's place." the Scout reported to the two, "From what I can gather he had taken over Markarth with the Forsworn, and had rid the Silver-Bloods of their wealth, and began setting off new laws."
"The Forsworn?" Tullius questioned. "Legate Rikke, send Hadvar and a detachment of soldiers to deal with the situation."
"At once General." the Nord woman, Rikke bowed before telling the Scout, "Very good telling us, go fetch some Mead, and get some rest. You earned it." She hand a small bag of gold to him at this as he nodded.
Later...
In the wizard section Noel was talking to the court wizard Calcelmo about an offer.
"...if you help us we will give you all the secrets the Dwemer left behind." Noel finished.
"It's not like I'm in much of a position to refuse." Calcelmo pointed out. "Though, considering your offer I wouldn't even think of it young man."
"I'm not gonna force you to do this." Noel told him, "I don't desire to enslave this town. I want everyone to be free of what they please."
"I know that, you've made that clear." Calcelmo told him.
"If you don't want to do it then it's your loss... After all everything the Dwemer, and Falmer left behind would've been all yours." Noel shrugged.
"I never said that, you young people need to learn to pay more attention." Calcelmo pointed out. "I'll help you."
"Then learn to say things better cause 'I wouldn't even think of it' would have people mistake it as you refuse." Noel pointed out.
"I severely doubt that, I just told you I wasn't in a position to refuse." Calcelmo repeated. "I was informing you I wouldn't think of it even if I were allowed to refuse... never mind. We're in agreement then?"
Noel nodded before a voice called, "My loorrrddd!"
They turned over as a Forsworn ran in calling, "The... The Imperial Empire, their mounting an attack!"
"Color me surprised. The Empire reacted faster then I originally thought." Noel said at this before turning to Calcelmo, "Find some cover." He then walked telling the Forsworn, "How large are we dealing with?"
"I'm not sure of the numbers, but at least 200 soldiers." the Forsworn told him.
"The Empire should've sent more." Noel said hearing that before saying, "Ready some of your brothers by the Gate, I'll meet you there with a plan of attack."
The Forsworn nodded before running off.
'Well time to see how they deal with the Imperial Legion...' Noel thought before looking up at the sky, 'Potema, this is for you.'
With that he walked arriving at the gate asking a Forsworn, "How far are they?"
"A day or two at most." the Forsworn replied.
"Then we need to prepare. Ready all of the Archers of the Forsworn at the gate." Noel instructed before saying, "When they come sound the alarm, and we will unleash hell on them all."
Nodding he ran off at that. Noel turned before thinking, 'Well General Tulilus... let's see how your crumbling Empire deals against one that revives the Septim Dynasty?'
The next day...
Multiple Imperial Soldiers were in a large camp nearby at Markarth ready as a young Nord Soldier wearing Imperial Armor walked along directing, "Soldiers! We are here to rid Markarth of the Forsworn! They had polluted the Reach for long enough, and they take Markarth from the Empire! Whatever they have taken we can take back! Join my side, and we will take it back, and rid the Reach of the Forsworn once, and for all! You might know some of the Forsworn, or their ex-Imperial but they won't hesitate to kill you so don't show them mercy! General Tullius wants us to capture Markarth for good! The Cidhna Mine is what the Empire needs to fight the Stormcloaks, and as long as the Forsworn controls it our chances to stop Ulfric will cripple largely! Let us go destroy the Forsworn! For the Emperor! FOR THE EMPIRE!"
He raised his sword up as he called this.
"FOR THE EMPIRE!" the soldiers called together.
"CHARGE!"
With that they all began running towards Markarth to battle unaware the Forsworn have an ambush planned.
Upon being alerted the Forsworn with Noel in his Forsworn Armor of the Gods watched as the Imperial Empire charged in as he grinned before telling Madanach, "Tell the archers to be ready, Madanach."
"You heard him brothers, on his signal." Madanach told the Forsworn.
The Forsworn Archers aimed at the sky as Noel said, "Steady!"
The Forsworn watch as the Imperials charged in closer to them ready to kill some Forsworn while they watch.
"Steady..."
They readied with every attention at the arrow making sure it would hit an Imperial to defend their city.
"Steady..."
The Imperials soon climbed up running towards the gate closer.
That was when Noel finally lowered his arm, "FIRE!"
Few noticed looking up before their being pelted down shot down hitting the ground as the Forsworn moved to reload as Noel called, "Fire as the man next to you reloads! Reload as he fires!"
With that he readies the next part of the plan calling, "STRUN BAH QO!" He used the Storm Call Thu'um as a swirling storm cloud started to form shooting meteors down at the Imperials striking several while arrows pelted down at them. It took out a good number of Imperial Soldiers but their are still plenty to be reckoned with. Noel turned to Madanach asking, "Are you with me?"
"I am." he nodded.
Noel readies the Mace of Molag Bal before he called, "Alright brothers... show them that we with Lord Molag Bal shall prove we're better then them! Charge!"
With that the gate opened as a number of Forsworn charged in to finish the job with Noel, Madanach, and Borkul leading them. Due to the confusion the Imperial Soldiers didn't realize what was going on until the Forsworn were on top of them. Several were slaughtered but the Imperial Soldiers quickly regained their footing against the Forsworn retaliating against them. Some were stabbed, slashed, crushed. Others were burned, froze, paralyzed, poisoned.
Noel charged against a few Soldiers dodging before striking with the Mace of Molag Bal against one's knee, and twirl giving a elbow at one's face straight at the nose knocking him off before jumping back turning striking the Mace of Molag Bal at the side of an Imperial Soldier's face, and then jumped as an Imperial Soldier moved to block but as Noel struck down the sword broke from the force, and struck the shoulder of the shoulder dislocating it, and causing severe agony which made the Soldier scream.
Madanach meanwhile casts Oakflesh to prepare against physicals before moving casting spells against the Imperials ranging from Firebolt, Icespike, and others while dodging the attacks against them, and moves jumping, or dodging while firing lethal spells against them.
Borkul in his own battle uses both a Forsworn Axe, and Sword against them blocking the attacks, and uses punches, and kicks against them while tackling them, and slashes with both weapons. He blocks a slash from one's sword, and uses his axe to strike at the neck before twirling to dodge another's attack, and moves his sword slicing off one's arm, and moves grabbing the Imperial around the neck with his arm snapping it, and then moving slashing a sword out of an Imperial's hand before using his sword, and axe to slice the head off.
Despite being outnumbered, the Forsworn are pushing back the Imperials from Noel's clever thinking. Soon the Imperial's numbers rapidly dwindle down before a few Soldier's were left including the young Imperial. The Forsworn suffered a bit of causalities but not as severe as the Imperials. Noel then moved using the Mace to trip an Imperial before smacking down the Mace on his head crushing it before looking seeing only 5 Imperial Soldiers including the young Imperial were left as they slowly backed off from the large Forsworn forces.
The Forsworn moved to finish but Noel called, "Hold!"
Confused they turned to him at that. Noel walked forward at the 6 before telling the young man, "You... I assume your the one leading the attack of the Empire."
"You... do you have any idea what you've done?" the young man asked him. "You've made an enemy of the empire."
"Do you think, I wouldn't be fighting you if I know that?" Noel asked him simply before saying, "We will shed no more blood of your Empire no longer. But send a message to your General Tullius for me."
The man just stared at him. "What message?"
"Tell him, 'The Tamirel Unification Front will stop at nothing to destroy the Thalmor, and expect for Titus Mede II to be Emperor no longer cause the real Empress will take back her throne'." Noel told before saying, "Alright Forsworn, we won this day. Let's began to believe this will send a message to the Imperial Empire that we are not to be messed with." As he said that he walked back to the gate with the Forsworn.
The young man frowned. "Wait, what do you mean real Empress? Just who are you serving?"
"I'm serving no-one. I'm merely her concubine, and will bring her back here soon. Just take the message, or we will not be merciful like today." Noel warned before the gates closed leaving the Imperials outside with the bodies of their dead comrades, and several Forsworn.
"We have to inform General Tullius about what's happened." the man mentioned turning to the surviving Imperials. "We head to Solitude immediately."
"Sir Hadvar... These are no Forsworn... And that lad's weapon, it's accursed... What are they?" one Imperial asked quite fearful.
"I don't know." the young man, Hadvar, answered with a frown. "But I have a bad feeling things are going to get much worse."
Noel meanwhile directed to the Forsworn in the Understone Keep, "You all fought really well! You fought for all of your brothers, and sisters that died in this battle! Though we mourn the death of our fallen they gave their lives for us to win this battle! The Imperial Empire will be more cautious of us from here on out but our numbers will grow, and we will gain more blessings from the Daedra, and the Nine Divines as we continue this struggle! It was you all that helped us won this victory, and I am proud to be called your Emperor! Rejoice, and live in happiness that you saved Markarth from fallen in Imperial Hands once more! For the Wolf Empire!"
The Forsworn all began to cheer at that. Noel turned to Madanach, and Borkul as he grinned, "You both deserve a bit of credit yourselves."
"Perhaps." Madanach nodded. "What are you going to do next?"
"Well gather new allies, and new blessings from the Gods." Noel answered to them turning to Borkul, "Borkul, I have one very special task for you."
He smirked at that. "Oh?"
"As it stands the next time either the Imperials, or the Stormcloaks mount an attack they will surely prevail. But as we gain more troops, and favors so too will our strength. And this will probably be the greatest of strength that we need to get." Noel answered before directing onto a map pointing, "In Stormcloak Territory their exists an Orc Stronghold by the name of Largashbur. They have an altar of the Orc God-Daedra Prince-Malacath, and to aid us we require Lord Malacath's artifact, the Dwarven Hammer named Volendrung. Borkul your task will be that you head to Largashbur, and find a way to acquire the Volendrung even if it means helping out the locals with their problems. But do not trust any of the Orcs in their, they would do anything to appease Lord Malacath."
He then asked Borkul, "So Borkul, do you think you can do this task?"
"I should be able to handle that." Borkul nodded.
"Good." Noel nodded before turning to Madanach, "Meanwhile Madanach while Borkul gets the Volendrung there is another Artifact, I want you to get. This one will truly test your magical abilities so you better be ready."
"A third Daedric artifact?" Madanach inquired.
"The Artifact of Peryite, Spellbreaker. A Magical Drawvern Shield that is able to activate a ward so it blocks spells without exhausting your magicika. Find a Shrine of Peryite, and the person who lives there will direct you on getting ingredients for a fume for you to smell, and you'll speak to an Aspect of Peryite where you will be given Spellbreaker if you complete a task for him." Noel answered.
Madanach nodded at that. "Alright."
"What about you?" Borkul asked him.
"I'll be getting the Artifact of the same Daedra Prince that the Mythic Dawn worshipped, and started the Oblivion Crisis." Noel answered before revealing, "Mehrunes Dagon's Razor."
Ulrich362: Well, three Daedric Artifacts are in Noel's sights.
bopdog111: Three separate chapters or one full chapter. But otherside from that will also be recruiting some new factions for the Tamirel Unification Front.
Ulrich362: True, and there are several powerful factions that could join them.
bopdog111: Who could be first?
Ulrich362: We'll have to wait and see, see you in the next chapter.
bopdog111: Be sure to review!
