The pain in Harry's body was really taking its toll while swinging and dodging lightning strikes. He didn't want to slow the others down however.

"So where are we heading?" asked Peter.

"Should soon be there", mumbled Harry. His injuries made every move hurt but if they got to safety, he could heal up there.

It didn't take very long until they landed in front of Number Twelve Grimmauld Place. Harry fell over as he landed, did a full roll and hit the ground face first.

Peter laughed loudly.

"Yeah, very funny", Harry pushed himself up on his feet. Peter stopped laughing as he saw him bending in pain. "Whoa man, are you okay?"

"Yeah yeah. I'm fine", Harry straightened himself up a bit and cleared his throat.

His head was spinning, eye-lids heavy, breathing was getting harder and harder to do but he kept himself on his feet.

"Then after you", Peter gestured towards the building.

They didn't have to walk far for the building to reveal itself for them and the door opening, where Strange waited for them. "You're here, good."

They quickly went in and closed the door behind them. The two Peters and Strange walked ahead, while Harry lagged behind.

He was in loads of pain, but it wasn't overwhelming even though he ought to be in a coma. As he dragged himself through the halls of his dead uncle's childhood home, moving and breathing and thinking was becoming more of a struggle at an alarming rate.

In the distant he heard talking, then yelling.

Looking around it looked pretty much the same as the last time he had been here. But turning his head made him very nauseous.

Unexpectedly he heard running footsteps coming towards him. He was confused for a solid second; wasn't his spidersense supposed to warn him? Was he supposed to get ready for a fight?

He moved further in, towards the living room. He walked through the doorway and immediately someone threw their arms around him; Hermione. He would've hugged back if he wasn't way out of it. She apparently noticed he wasn't hugging back and loosened her grip, looking at him.

"Harry, what happened?"

Harry blinked really hard, trying to understand what she meant.

"Harry?" her voice sounded distant and garbled.

He was losing his balance, but this time he felt himself falling over. It was like in some kind of strange dream where he easily could catch himself but he didn't really want to. It felt comforting just drifting into complete darkness.

Harry woke up with an orange sunrise blinding him. He was lying down in one of the bedrooms, tucked under a light blanket.

The silence was new to him, there wasn't anything or anyone bothering him. No gunshots, no

It was actually quite nice. Calming. He actually felt a lot better, but he couldn't be bothered to get up.

Just looking at the view was enough for him. He heard breathing except for his own breathing. He turned his head to the left and saw Hermione sleeping next to him.

He slowly sat up and just as he did that, Hermione grabbed him but it wasn't her anymore, instead it was Norman laughing maniacally as his face was melting.

Harry woke up with a jolt.

He was lying down in a bed tucked under a light blanket and the sunrise was blinding him. The sunrise mixed with a few colorful lightning bolts; it was bizarre. What a stupid dream, he thought and sighed. He turned his head on the not super comfortable pillow.

Someone had taken off his damaged suit and hung on a chair next to his bed along with a pair of clothes. The spot beside him looked like someone had been lying there but no one was.

Harry threw off the blanket and got up. He put on the clothes that had been left for him and got out of the room. His body was still awfully sore but felt well rested and couldn't remember the last time he had slept so much.

Walking down the staircase he heard loud snoring coming from above him and lively talk from downstairs. It didn't sound like a lot of people were awake.

In the living room sat Lupin in a couch, looking more tired and scarred than ever.

"Good morning, Harry", he murmured, looking lost in in his own thoughts.

"Morning."

Harry made his way into the kitchen. By the kitchen table sat only a very tired Tonks, Hermione, Peter, Ginny and at the end of the table sat Strange with his hand covering his face, he too stuck in his own head. His hair was a mess and he looked tired from what part of his face that was visible.

"Harry!", exclaimed Hermione. She pulled out a chair for him.

"Oh, hey you're finally awake", Peter nonchalantly raised a half-eaten toast in the air. The time must be at least five in the morning, and Peter was wide awake in comparison to the rest.

"Wotcher, Harry?" Tonks yawned loudly.

"Just a bit sore. You?"

"Nothing much. Been holding up here for the past week."

"Week?" He sat down next to Hermione and opposite of Peter.

"Almost a week", corrected Peter. "Five days to be precise."

"Alright alright", Tonks rolled with her eyes.

Harry couldn't help but grin. Even though everything was horrible and the world was upside down, he felt like he really was back.

"You're happy for someone that almost died", said Ginny looking at Harry.

Hermione gave Harry a quick kiss on the corner of his mouth.

"Yeah, I feel great. It's been a while since I slept for five days in a row."

"I'm not surprised. You had a foul concussion, a punctured lung among other things. You've recovered from worse honestly", Hermione handed him toast and marmalade.

"But you were worried?" teased Harry.

"Of course I was worried."

"And you still thought I would recover just fine?"

"Honestly Harry…"

"Oh get married already", groaned Ginny.

"Stop it", said Hermione.

She and Ginny kept talking while Harry glanced towards Strange. He had removed his hand from his face and stared into the void, he didn't seem angry or upset just in deep thought.

"So where is the second Peter?" Harry asked.

"Fresh air", said Peter, ripping off the corners of his toast and chewing at them. "At least that's what he said."

After breakfast, Strange stood up and walked towards the exit of the room without saying a single word.

Harry didn't really do much for a lot of the day except helping around the house with various tasks. He caught up with aunt Petunia, as she thankfully was there too, she didn't have much to tell except giving him a shoulder-crushing hug. As the day went on, more people came out of their rooms. A lot of people were there; a few Order members, some of the Avengers were there among them being Thor and Hawkeye, and the Weasley family.

He spent most of the day hanging with Peter, some of the time literally on the walls and ceilings and talking about whatever, reading or messing around.

They eventually got to attempting to improve their Spidey-arsenal and fixing Harry's webshooters.

The room they were in became such a mess it looked more like a workshop than a room people slept.

"Man, your world sounds insane", said Peter, hanging from a web thread while he was reading through Advanced Potion-Making by Libatius Borage. "Have you ever thought to upgrade your webshooters to shoot potions and spells? I bet you could make potions to work through fumes."

"Fumes? Are you sure?", Harry was walking straight up around on the ceiling, grabbing things around the room with his fixed webshooters.

"Yeah, as long whoever you're shooting at inhales the fumes, or maybe you just have to aim potions really well into people's mouths", said Peter with a laugh.

Harry frowned. "What about spells?"

Peter glanced over the edge of the book. "Attach your wand to one of your webshooters, easy."

"I don't think that would work."

"Sure it would", Peter slowly spun around on his web line. "I don't understand though, why wands? Stephen does it just fine without one."

They tinkered with their suits and webshooters for a few more hours until they split up and Harry took a walk around the house.

Mrs Weasley grabbed him to come and help her, aunt Petunia and Ginny with dinner. Him, of all people to help making dinner.

He did pretty bad but Ginny saved him from turning it into a disaster.

During dinner, everyone including more of the Avengers, Order members and both Peters sat around the table. Unfortunately, since they were so many, there had to be an extra table for people to sit at.

Harry really wanted to ask if anyone was going to do anything or just sit around all day. He looked up at Moody who had arrived just a few moments before dinner along with Shacklebolt and Stark.

Not even a sign, just a glare from his magic eye.

After dinner, Harry's restlessness was growing. He saw people come and leave constantly but no one said anything about what was going on.

Yet again, he was bored of sitting around and waiting so he walked around the place. As he passed the stairs, a hand reached out for his arm and he got pulled under them.

It was Hermione looking back at him in the dark. She put her arms around his neck and kissed him. It was nice, just the two of them being alone – confusing, but nice.

"What was that for?" Harry smiled.

He felt her warm breath in his face and how she smelled like mint and grass.

"Oh nothing. I just wanted to get away from everyone else", she smiled back.

Harry raised his eyebrow with a smirk. "If you wanted to be alone, we could just go back to the bedroom."

She jokingly hit him the chest. "Harry! Is it too much to ask to be away from everyone else without us being in the bedroom?"

"I suppose not."

There was a lengthy quiet moment between them, Hermione just beaming at him in the darkness and her warmth against his. Harry didn't feel awkward, he was just happy being with her. Under the stairs.

He remembered all the times they were together around the school grounds, hiding out in less crowded places and this reminded him of that.

He finally leaned in to kiss her again but got interrupted by Fred and George's faces poking in so close that all of their faces almost touched. "Ah yes to be seventeen again, hiding under staircases", said George.

"Almost felt like yesterday. Come on, there's a meeting in the living room", said Fred and the twins walked away.

Harry met Hermione's eyes and saw her wondering look. Harry shrugged and they walked towards the living room.

The living room was full of people, many he recognized, others he didn't. Someone had put a few more sofas and chairs in the room, there was a big table full of drinks and snacks. Somehow Harry knew this wasn't a social call. Tony sat in a sofa with his feet kicked up on a foot chair with a glass of some kind of liquid in his hand. "Oh we have more people joining us – fantastic."

Harry's eyes went over of the different faces and saw the Weasleys in a sofa. Mr Weasley kept fidgeting in his chair, appearing somewhat uncomfortable.

"'ello 'arry."

Harry turned around on the spot, behind him stood Fleur Delacour together with Bill Weasley.

"H-hi", he hadn't expected to see her here.

He blinked hard for a few times.

"Our wedding was cut short by ze world ending. Of course I don't blame you 'arry, it was just an accident, yes?", Fleur gave him a reassuring smile.

Harry gave her an awkward smile back, his mind clouded by a familiar strange feeling.

Hermione sighed and grabbed him firmly by the shoulders, pushing him away from Fleur.

Both Peters were there too, standing by the wall. They looked like they were taking this entire meeting seriously and not in the mood for talking.

They smiled and nodded at him. Harry nodded back. Lupin sat next to Tonks. He seemed reluctant to be here.

In front of a fireplace stood Steve Rogers, out of his suit. This must the first time Harry had seen him without it and he looked like a pretty normal guy.

Moody hung in the back mumbling something to Hawkeye and Black Widow.

Strange was the last person to enter the room, and with him he had Ron – Ron!

"Ron?" Harry felt his legs moving towards Ron on their own. "How did you – why are you—Ron simply pulled him in for a quick hug, patting him on the back. "Good to see you again, mate."

The Weasleys immediately came rushing towards him, mrs and mr Weasley talking loudly over each other.

"How did you get out?" Harry asked while Ron was getting crushed and hugged by his family members.

"Long story short", Ron nodded towards Strange who stood beside the Weasleys looking most impatient. "I'll tell you more later. Hey Hermione! How are you?"

Hermione hesitated, "I'm fine."

"Alright, let's get to business", said a man standing up from a sofa with a glass in his hand and a black eye patch over his left eye. "Could someone kill the lights? Great, thanks."

A big hologram appeared in the middle in the room, floating in the middle of the room. It looked like a screen but see-through and the picture wasn't quite as stable.

The hologram showed a moving image of Harry as Spider-Man casting spells on the bridge from a bird's-eye view.

"Some of you may not know me, I'm Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D and that's all you need to know. And this is our world's Spider-Man", Fury started pacing back and forth, glancing at Harry with his good eye. "You broke time and space isn't that right, Spider-Man? You broke time and space with a spell colliding with another spell. I'm still trying to process that. How does that work? I don't know how magic works but what were you thinking?"

Most eyes turned towards Harry.

He felt like everyone was judging him, and they most likely were. "It was an accident."

"Oh!" exclaimed Fury sarcastically. "It was an accident. Well then everything is forgiven, Spider-Man."

Harry pointed with his thumb at the hologram, "You think I did that on purpose?"

Fury gave him a quick smile. "Don't take that tone with me please."

"Could we just get to the problem already?" boomed Moody.

"Alright", Fury sighed. "So, does anyone have an idea how to fix all this? Anyone? No?"

Fury looked around the room.

"There's not much we can do when are so awfully outnumbered", Lupin said. "With Voldemort taking over the Ministry of Magic we don't have a lot of resources on our end."

"Good old Voldy still taking over the world when it's ending", snorted George.

"Big old brain on that one", Fred slowly shook his head.

Strange finally spoke up, "From what I've gathered for these past days, Potter marked himself and this Voldemort with that spell he casted and dragged everyone across the multiverse ever connected to him or his Spider-Man persona, possibly both – I don't know. It's very hard to tell."

He sat down on a chair, looking more tired than earlier.

"So would killing Voldemort fix reality?" Harry asked.

"No, not exactly", Strange sighed from sheer tiredness. "Killing him would only solve half of the problem. The entire multiverse will still cease to exist, so to speak."

"Then what?" scoffed Hawkeye. "Do we just roll over and die? Because as far as I see, no one has any idea what to do."

"You said both of them were marked", said Bruce Banner to Strange.

"I did."

"What if both of them die?" he said it so casually they might as well be discussing about their favorite tea brand.

"No!" yelled a few people in unison.

Harry's heart skipped a beat. He was afraid but maybe that was the only way, "If that is the solution…"

"Don't be stupid, Harry! There must be another way", said Ginny.

"Is there really?" said Bruce with a slight chuckle. "Look at it this way; none of this would have happened if it wasn't for them and ending their lives might be a bit harsh – I'll admit – but what would you suggest?"

Someone cleared their throat loudly, and next a man stepped out of the shadows; Harry didn't recognize him at first. His hair was a bit grown out and messy, he wore a green and gold robe that had seen better days. He had this eccentric vibe of a washed-up has-been royalty about him.

"I've heard about you. You're Loki", mumbled Harry.

So far Harry had only been allowed to join during smaller missions with the Avengers, and during them he had been told about Loki and his invasion on New York.

Loki smiled wide. "Indeed it is."

"Brother?" exclaimed Thor.

Tony came walking up to Loki, not looking too happy to see him. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't lay you out right now. Who invited this clown?"

"I did", said Fury.

Loki put a hand on his chest, sympathizing with Tony. "I know I'm the last person you want to see right now but there's something in it for me too and it's not just power or riches. My home and life are at stake, especially my mother. Have a heart, Stark."

Stark scoffed. "Nice speech. Alright what do you got?"

Loki smiled broadly. "I thought you'd never ask."

He took out a blue, glowing cube. Tony and Harry stared at it.

"No", whispered Strange with repugnance in his voice.

"What do you mean? What is it?" Tony asked.

Strange groaned, stood up and was about to leave to room but came walking back. "Do you seriously want to trust a jester with the fate of reality? That is an infinity stone."

He grabbed the cube aggressively from Loki and smashed it in the floor. Many in the room jumped back, Harry included. Inside was a small, oval stone which Strange picked up and let hover a few inches away from his palm. A cool, blue light emanated from it.

"Infinity stones are gems that hold a tremendous power. In total there are six of them, the six stones are space, mind, reality, power, time and soul. This is the space stone, allowing its user to bend time and space, moving them from one place to another. One infinity stone is powerful, together with the other five it's unpredictable. We're not risking to make things worse than they are."

"How much worse can it get?" sighed Shacklebolt and emptied his glass in a single heave.

"You don't seem like you want to restore everything back to normal", said Ron.

"What's the worst that can happen?" asked a short old man. "We don't have much choice."

"You're right. We just die or we die doing something about it", said Black Widow.

Strange lowered his head and blinked hard.

"Sounds like a plan to me, Strange", said Hawkeye.

Strange made a grimace and looked up.

"If that fails, we could send someone back in time or something", murmured a voice from a corner of the room.

Harry turned around to see a hairy man leaning with one foot against the wall and a thick cigar in his mouth and a glass of liquid in his hand. The man's hair stood up like he had two small horns on each side on the top of his head, and his facial hair existed of muttonchops.

"What? That actually happened."

He didn't stand out in the group, he just seemed like a normal hairy guy with a hurry to destroy his organs.

"Did you walk into the wrong house?" Harry asked.

"Nope", said the man, minding his own business and not really seeming to care about what others thought of him.

"Right, I forgot to introduce Logan. Logan – everyone", said Fury doing a gesture with his hand towards Logan. "He's a… mutant. Got special powers, like many in this room."

"Cheers", Logan took out his cigar and emptied his glass, only to go and refill it. "Special, my ass."

"Real charmer that one", Tony cleared his throat.

"Alright fine!" said Strange loudly. "We'll find the rest of the stones and take a gamble. Let's not make this more complicated than we need."

Loki smiled wide. "I'm glad we're on the same page. Conveniently for you, I have knowledge about where three other stones are located."

"Okay we get it, enough with the theatrics!" said Tony.

Loki frowned a bit. "Fine then. The first stone is here in London, that's what I was doing in the first place. It's in the possession of a place named the Ministry of Magic."

"Bloody fantastic", Ron could be heard saying in the background.

"Another is in the possession of a fellow that admittedly frightens me – the Collector. He's on Knowhere. The fourth stone unfortunately I've only got a name attached to and that is Potter."

"Potter? That makes no sense", said Harry.

"I am simply informing you of what I know", said Loki.

Thor aggressively pushed Loki to the back of the room. "Alright great, shall we leave then?"

The room got quiet for a bit; Fury just blankly stared at Thor while most people seemed as uncomfortable as Harry felt, and mr Weasley was twirling his thumbs and whistling like he was patiently waiting for something.

Ginny cleared her voice. "Maybe not today? Some of us need to sleep."

"That's alright, we first need to make a toast", said Thor and walked over to the drink table. "Is there any mead? What's this? Oh, this smells terrible! What is this?" He waved with a liquor bottle. He shrugged and drank from it anyway when no one answered.

"Okay team we've got a plan. Mission starts after tomorrow. Is everyone cool? Cool", Fury shut off the hologram. "Meeting over."

"About time", Strange was the first one to leave the room progressively people followed his example.

Eventually no one but Harry, Hermione, Ron, Lupin and the two Peters were left in the room.

"Let's go upstairs", said Ron.

Author's end of chapter notes: That was a long long chapter! Not the most exciting chapter and I'm afraid that might've showed in my writing but it's fine. There might be too many characters that didn't get a proper introduction but I have done my best to introduce them.

I realized also while writing this chapter that originally, several months had passed by the end of Broken Web and now I had to squeeze in a tiny change for Broken Web, that being that Harry becomes an Avenger a few days later after getting back from Hogwarts instead of months. Nothing else is changed though, everything else stays the same.

Some things before Broken Web happen off screen, off page, whichever you'd prefer and that's really all. Nothing game changing.
