Hey guys I'm back, I would've updated sooner but my dad and brother are sick and I have to take care of them both, but enough about me here's the next chapter

She stood in front of the mirror frowning hard as she stared at herself, she's well along in the second trimester now and her stomach is making it hard for her but she's not completely alone in the process with Mikoto constantly checking in she's internally grateful for her, having someone with experience in the matter is comforting
"Hinata for the last time your not fat"Sasuke exclaims as he sits on the closed toilet lid
"B-but...I'm so big"Sasuke snorts and hops off the toilet wrapping an arm around her shoulder
"Do you wanna know what I see?"she reluctantly nods
"I see my gorgeous best friend and her little baby"he pokes her stomach and he laughs
"Your so weird"Sasuke dramatically gasps making her laugh more letting him lead her out the bathroom
"Sulking in the bathroom over baby weight is not an excuse to escape my mom"she giggles as Sasuke leads her back to the living room
"Oh Hinata dear your back!"Mikoto rushes to help her sit down
"I never thought the day would come where I'd be having grandkids...especially from Itachi no less"Sasuke snorts as he plops down beside his mother
"Don't even start mom we all thought his sex life was nonexistent"Mikoto pops Sasuke on the back of the head
"Don't talk about your brother that way, regardless if it's true"Fugaku sipped on his drink desperately trying to ignore the conversation going on around him
"I-I-I don't think it was nonexistent"Mikoto scoffs still holding her
"Don't try and back him up now just because he's your boyfriend"she can already tell her face went 12 different shades of red sure their dating but their not that exclusive yet the pie decided to take it slow after skipping so many steps
"H-h-h-he..I-I-I mean w-w-we aren't exclusive yet"Mikoto gasps before pouting
"My gosh he has an adorable girl dating him and he still hasn't made it official!? What is my son doing with his life"Sasuke doubles over in laughs and she covers her face in embarrassment
"Mikoto I'm sure the boy knows what he's doing"Fugaku finally tries to defend his son
"Oh no Fugaku don't go and defend him you know I'm right"she groans as Sasuke's laughs increase and she mildly wonders if he's breathing
"I love my son but-Sasuke stop laughing so hard"Sasuke wipes the tears from his eyes trying to calm down
"Well Mikoto maybe he hasn't made it official because he doesn't think Hinata is ready"a silence stretches after Fugaku's remark everyone thinking about his words and the truth they carry
"Do you want things to be official Hinata dear?"she bites her lip feeling anxious
"I-I do but I don't want him to be with me only because I'm having his baby"Mikoto gasps and draws her into her arms once again
"Woah Hinata don't cry it's okay"Sasuke rubs her back and she knows it's the pregnancy making her like this but she still feel that way she's still unsure if he genuinely wants her or just the baby
"Oh Hinata dear you should talk to him about this"she pulls back sniffling and her bottom lip quirvering
"B-but he's been in the hospital to much for me too"Mikoto wipes her face with a tissue
"Even so you shouting hold all these emotions in I'm sure he'd want to know"she silently nods Mikoto is right as always besides no one would know Itachi better than his own mother
"Your right, but when would I bring it up"Mikoto hops up suddenly
"Well today of course we were already going to visit him today anyways"Sasuke jumps to help her up
"Wait hold on"she rushes back to her room opening her jewelry box to take out a silver necklace Itachi has bought for her during one of their dates
"Okay now I'm ready"Mikoto seems to light up noticing what she did. There was a peaceful silence on the way to the hospital and up to Itachi's room when they arrived a nurse filled them in on how Itachi has been doing and how they once again changed his medication
"Itachi dear?"Mikoto announces their presence by knocking on the door as she steps in, as expected Itachi doesn't give a verbal reply simply nodding it may have been her eyes tricking her but when she stepped in Itachi's eyes seemed to light up some
"How are you feeling dear? They told us they changed your medication again"Itachi sighs looking around the room at all of them
"Yes they did, but I am fine"Mikoto appears to want to say more but doesn't at the tone of her son's voice
"Well...since we're here was their anything special you wanted?"Mikoto tried once more to get some sort of reaction out of her son but it failed when Itachi simply shook his head no, taking his appearance into account she noticed how his skin looked more pale than usual and he looked more tired
"Itachi have you eaten?"she finds herself asking before she realizes it as expected he shook his head no
"Itachi you should be eating with your condition"Mikoto lightly scolds her son
"I'm going to get a nurse Fugaku, Sasuke come"Fugaku silently follows his wife and Sasuke does the same after giving her shoulder a comforting squeeze and she then realizes what Mikoto just did
"U-um I-I missed you"Itachi seemed to slightly perk up at her words and even more so when she comes closer and sits on the bed
"I-I-I um h-have gotten bigger s-since you last saw me"Itachi was still silent much to her displeasure
"I even felt the baby moving around"Itachi finally looked at her
"How many weeks?"she smiles and takes his hand holding it
"About 20 weeks or so"she gently squeezes his hand when he looks back out the window
"I...I feel guilty Hinata"Itachi suddenly says after a long silence confusing her
"I haven't been there for you like I wanted to, all this time I wanted to tell you how much you mean to me I just-"she hugs him tightly cutting him off he seems startled but quickly hugs her back
"It's like you read my mind..I was scared you only were with be because of the baby"Itachi looks at her like she's crazy
"Of course not"she smiles feeling her eyes water darn pregnancy sensitivity
"W-wait does this mean you want us to be official?"she asks hopefully
"I would hope so"she can almost hear the playfulness in his voice she squeals excited and hugs him again
"I really should visit you more"Itachi lightly chuckles
"I don't care if the father of my child is stuck in the hospital as long as I know he cares about me"Itachi seems slightly taken aback at her sudden confession
"Well hopefully I won't be stuck in the hospital"she giggles and before she can stop herself she's planting a living kiss on Itachi's lips when she realizes what she's done she quickly leans back embarrassed Itachi chuckles at her and reaches up to tuck a loose strand of hair behind her ear and with his other hand links their hands together
"I'll get better soon, for you and the baby"
Okay that's it for this chapter I tried to clear some things up so there's no confusion and I once again wrote a chapter without my glasses on lol
