Narrator: Ash's goal is to battle one of the world's greatest Trainers, Leon! Goh's goal is to catch one of every kind of Pokémon, including Mew! This is the story of their adventure-filled journey through the world of Pokémon!
A scene then shows Ash, Goh, and all their Pokémon taking a group photo.
Narrator: Ah! Another beautiful day in Paris! I wonder what our heroes are up to today?
Mr. Damocles: You only have one day to work on your fashion piece, and it must be your own design. In ten hours your fittest presentation will be judged by none other than the great fashion designer Gabriel Agreste, the father of our very own student Adrien Agreste.
Everyone was excited about this!
Mr. Damocles: In fact, Adrien will model the winning design in his next photoshoot. And now, to announce this year's theme: derby hats.
Marinette: Derby hats?
Ash: [raises his hand] Question, please? What's a derby hat?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Mr. Damocles: It's the style of a hat known as the derby was worn by many stylish Englishmen who attended the Epsom Derby. Americans identified the hats with the races and thus the nickname stuck. The hat Americans named derby was in fact a bowler hat, a style introduced in England during the 1850s.
Ash: Ohhhh! That makes sense! Doesn't sound too hard! And I still have a lot to learn about this world!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
However, Marinette was thinking otherwise, as Chloé looked at them and made a thumbs-down gesture!
Ash: [frowns] [blows a raspberry at her]
Pikachu: [blows a raspberry at Chloé] PRRIIII!
Chloé: [growls]
Ash: Oh! [raises his hand] Question, Mr. Damocles?
Mr. Damocles: Yes, Mr. Ketchum?
Ash: Are we allowed to partner up?
Mr. Damocles: If that is what you wish to do, I don't see why not!
Ash: Awesome! [to Marinette] Mind if I partner up with you, Marinette?
Marinette: Sure!
Ash: [raises his fist determinedly] Awesome! Let's do our best!
Pikachu: [determined] PIKA!

Scene changes to Pikachu in an open field twirling Ash's hat on its tail and then putting on and smiling as Ash reads the title of the chapter!
Ash (voiceover): Chapter 6: Mr. Pigeon!
Later on, in the courtyard, Marinette was pacing back and forth, looking at her sketchbook while talking to Ash and Alya!
Marinette: Derby hat, derby hat, derby hat, derby hat...! I don't have any derby hat designs. I've got top hats, caps, even two-horned hats! Need a beret? I'm your girl. A sombrero? No problem-o. But a derby?! You know what? It won't even matter, 'cause I'll probably make a total fool of myself at the event, most likely trip over my stupid derby and collapse on Mr. Agreste; give him a full-blown concussion and Adrien will hate me! I'll never be a world-renowned fashion designer. MY LIFE IS OVER!
Ash: [grabs her by the shoulders] [shakes her] Marinette, get a hold of yourself!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Marinette: Sorry! Sorry!
Ash: It's okay! Don't you think you're overreacting way too much? I doubt a thing like that is gonna happen!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Marinette: Well, it's possible!
Alya: All this over a derby hat? Let me see your sketchpad, girl. [looks in her sketchpad] There must be something in here.
Marinette: Forget it, I'm a disaster zone. I'll probably mess everything up in the end.
Ash: [places a hand on her shoulder] Hey! Don't worry, Marinette! You've got me to help out with the hat!
Pikachu: [jumps onto her shoulder] [nods] PIKA!
Marinette: Thanks, Ash! Pikachu! You truly are one of my best friends!
Alya: [smirks playfully] And what am I? Chopped liver?
Ash: We're both her best friends!
Alya: I know! [elbows him playfully] I'm just messing with ya!
Ash: [giggles]
Marinette was cuddling Pikachu!
Marinette: Oh, you're so cute!
Pikachu: [happy] PIKA PIKA!
Marinette: I'm glad you'll be helping me out too, Pikachu!
Pikachu: [smiles] PIKA!
Marinette: [cuddles it] You're the best! I love you, Pikachu!
Pikachu: [happy] [snuggles against her] PIKA PIKACHU!
Marinette: [as she nuzzles noses with it] You're my favorite Pokémon! [kisses it on the cheek] Mwah!
Pikachu: [blushes] [coos] CHA!
Marinette: [giggles]
Ash: [chuckles]
That's when Adrien came over and saw Alya holding Marinette's sketchpad!
Adrien: Wow, Alya, [as Marinette panics and hides behind the bench] those are some awesome designs. I didn't know you had such mad skills.
Alya: Uh, thanks Adrien, but I can't take the credit.
Ash: Yeah! Marinette's the one responsible for these designs!
Marinette just gave a weak, embarrassed wave!
Lucario: [exasperated sighs] MRAH!
Alya: Off the chain, right?
Ash: Super off the chain!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Litten: [next to Adrien] LITTEN!
Ash: Oh! Hey, Litten!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Litten: LITTEN!
Alya: Aw! So, this is Litten! [goes to pet it] Cute little guy!
Litten: [hisses threateningly] LITTEN!
Alya: [backs away] Whoa!
Ash: Oh yeah! I forgot! It takes time to time to build trust with a Litten!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Alya: Oh! That makes sense!
Litten: [jumps onto Adrien's shoulder] LITTEN!
Ash: Seems Litten's gotten quite attached to you since it first became your partner!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Adrien: It sure has!
Ash: Anyway, [to Marinette] come on, Marinette! Say something!
Adrien: You're super talented, Marinette. You seriously have a good chance of winning.
Marinette: Well, um, yeah! I... like- um, designs that- um, [as Alya makes motions to Marinette, who tries to interpret them] go... upwards? Um, while stopping... I mean, uh- uh, um, thanks?
Ash: What she means to say is that it's very sweet of you to say that to her! After all she's doing it to try and impress you because she's got a cru...
Marinette: [blushes madly] HMMMM! [covers his mouth] [nervous giggles]
Ash: [muffled speaking]
Adrien: Sure, and uh- good luck. Maybe I'll be wearing your derby at father's next photoshoot. [as he and Litten leave]
Marinette: [bonks Ash on the head with her fist]
Ash: [grabs his head] OW! Marinette, that hurt!
Marinette: That's what you get for nearly spilling the beans about me!
Ash: [rubbing his head] I'm sorry! It slipped, I swear!
Marinette: Right! Just don't let it happen again!
Ash: [shakes his head focused] I won't!
Marinette: Thank you!
Alya: Girl, you gotta get a grip next time. But did you hear? Adrien thinks you're good enough to win!
Ash: Yeah! She's got a point!
Pikachu: PIKA!
The three friends cheered, but what they didn't know was that Chloé and Sabrina were watching them!
Sabrina: Did you hear how impressed Adrien was with Marinette's desi-
Chloé: Of course I heard! Her? Win the contest? As if. When Adrien sees my design he'll convince his father to award me the winner. Hm!
Sabrina: I'm sure he will, Chloé. You're a born champion. Your design will blow everyone else's out of the water!
Chloé: Yeah, it will. As soon as I can get my hands on the sketchpad!
Lucario: MRAH!
Lucario saw Chloé and Sabrina and became suspicious!
Lucario: [suspicious] MRAH MRAH!
Sabrina: [startled] Oh!
Chloé: GAH!
Lucario: [folds its arms] [suspicious] MRAH MRAH!
Sabrina: Uh, we're not planning anything!
Lucario: [unconvinced] [raises an eyebrow] MRAH RAH?
Chloé: It's none of your business! So there! But you tell Dupain-Cheng that I will have the most spectacular hat that will put hers to shame!
Lucario: [scoffs] [rolls its eyes] MRAH! [gives her a 'watching you' gesture] [runs back over to Ash]
Chloé: [scoffs]
Alya: [checking her phone] Only have nine hours until show time.
Marinette: Yikes! I'm off to my secret garden of inspiration.
Ash: Secret garden? I wanna see!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Marinette: Well, it's secret for a reason! But I guess you can come too!
Ash: You sure, Marinette?
Marinette: Of course! [warps an arm around him] As long as you can keep it a secret!
Ash: [smiles and nods] Mmhmm!
Marinette: Great! Come on! [to Alya] I'll see you later. [runs into a wall] AH! I'm okay. I'm okay, I'm okay. [almost runs into another wall, then scream]
Ash: Hey! Wait for me! [runs after her]
Pikachu: [runs after them] PIKA PIKA!
Lucario: [runs after them] MRAH MRAH!
Alya: [chuckles]
In Hawk Moth's lair, Hawk Moth began to talk to himself as his window opened.
Hawk Moth: The time has come for us to find our next victim, my wicked little akumas. And to prey upon Ladybug and Cat Noir. Their Miraculouses must be mine!
Meanwhile, Ash and Marinette were in the Trocadéro, and Marinette was trying to get inspired to draw some designs. She drew something and then ripped the paper out.
Marinette: Geez, it's hard to be creative under pressure.
Ash: I'm sure you'll think of something, Marinette!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!
Marinette: Easy for you to say! You're not usually trying to think while under pressure!
Tikki: Marinette, you save the world under pressure. I think designing a hat should be a piece of cake!
Marinette: Hm, a cake derby hat. Stylish and tasty. [as she and Tikki chuckle]
Ash: [chuckles] Hey, I know! Maybe I can be your model and inspiration! Now, look closely at me and try to think of all the things that make me unique!
Marinette: [puts her pencil to her lips] Hmm...
Then, she started to draw!
She kept drawing new designs and ripping them out! After a while, she got tired.
Ash: C'mon, Marinette! I'm sure what you've drawn has gotta be pretty good!
Marinette: [unsure] I don't know!
Ash: [unfolds one and looks at it] [smiles] Hey, cool! You made this one look like a PokéBall!
Marinette: You really like it?
Ash: Yeah! It looks cool!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Marinette: Thanks!
That's when they saw a man walking like a bird sitting down on a bench ahead of them.
Ash: Who's that? And why is he acting like a bird?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Lucario: MRAH?
He took out a brown paper bag and blew a bird call.
Xavier: [blows the bird call]
The sound of the bird call attracted pigeons! One flew right by Ash and Marinette!
Ash: Whoa!
Xavier: [throwing food for the pigeons] Well, happy day, happy day! Splendid is the afternoon day. [as one landed on his arm] Ah, Edgar, you fancy one. [as the pigeon flies around] Fantastic, dazzling performance.
Ash: He must be some kind of pigeon tamer!
Pikachu: PIKA PI!
Ash: And those pigeons seem to like him!
That's when Officer Roger started to approach the man!
Roger: Scram, you winged rats!
Ash: Uh oh!
That scared the pigeons off!
Roger: How many times do you need to be told, Mr. Ramier? No! FEEDING! The pigeons! It's strictly forbidden. If everyone feeds them, they'll leave their waste everywhere!
Ash: [to Marinette] Their waste?
Marinette: Don't ask!
Xavier: But, who's going to feed my poor pigeons?
Roger: All the park keepers know about you, Mr. Ramier. You're banned from every park in Paris. Leave now or I'll call the authorities. Oh, wait. I'm the authorities. [yells] GET OUT!
Mr. Ramier walked away in sadness!
Marinette: Sheesh, I almost feel sorry for that man.
Ash: Well, I definitely feel sorry for him!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Ash: Pigeons seem so harmless! In fact, there are Pokémon back in my dimension that look like pigeons and they can be very gentle!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Marinette: Really? Which ones?
Ash: [pulls out his Rotom Phone] Have a look!
Rotom Phone: Pidove, the Tiny Pigeon Pokémon. A Normal and Flying-type! A Pidove flock's cooing can get extremely noisy. Pidove is not attracted to shiny objects. [changes to Tranquill] Tranquill, the Wild Pigeon Pokémon. A Normal and Flying-type, and the evolved form of Pidove. It can fly moderately quickly. No matter how far it travels, it can always find its way back to its master and its nest. [changes to Unfezant] Unfezant, the Proud Pokémon. A Normal and Flying-type, and the evolved form of Tranquill. Males swing their head plumage to threaten opponents. The females' flying abilities surpass those of the males.
Marinette: Wow! That's pretty cool!
Ash: Yep! I happen to have an Unfezant of my own back home! It was the very first Pokémon I caught in the Unova Region as a Pidove!
Marinette: That's cool!
Ash: Thanks! I can kinda picture that guy with a Pidove as a partner!
Tikki: What a unique character! He was like, a human bird. All he needed was a feather jacket to complete the look.
Marinette: A feather jacket, hmm. Nice thinking, Tikki. [starts drawing again]
Ash: Something tells me you gave her an idea, Tikki!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Tikki: Maybe!
As for Mr. Ramier, he was at the Seine, sitting sadly on a bench!
Hawk Moth: Poor Mr. Ramier, the feeling of injustice, such easy prey for my akuma.
Then, a butterfly landed on his hand and he turned it into an akuma!
Hawk Moth: Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize him!
And the akuma flew off into the city! Eventually, it flew to the Seine and flew into Mr. Ramier's bird call whistle! Then, a light mask appeared on his face!
Hawk Moth: Mr. Pigeon, I'm Hawk Moth. Neither this police officer, nor any other of the park keepers, should stop you from taking care of your friends. What would Paris be without pigeons? What would pigeons be without you?
Xavier: [chuckles sinisterly]
Then, he transformed into Mr. Pigeon! He began to flap his arms and make pigeon noises, as he ran off!
Back with Ash and Marinette, Chloé was secretly watching Marinette as she was drawing! She then signaled Sabrina, who snuck behind Marinette, and got ready to take a picture of the design from her sketchpad.
Marinette: [sketching] Yes!
Ash: [eyes sparkle] Wow!
Marinette held up a drawing of her finished design, which Sabrina snapped a photo of!
Tikki: Now that's a derby!
Marinette: Thanks, Tikki.
Ash: This will make a great derby hat!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!
Marinette: Thanks, Ash!
Lucario: [notices Sabrina sneaking around] MRAH? [suspicious] MRAH...
Sabrina: [showing the picture on her phone to Chloé] We're so awesome.
Chloé: [coldly] We? [snatches the phone]
Sabrina: [with a small hurt look] Oh right, sorry! You're so awesome, Chloé. Oh no, not me! No, never me! When are we- uh, you, going to make the hat?
Chloé: And ruin these nails? Of course not. Daddy'll pay someone to do it. Lucario better not have spotted you!
Unfortunately, Lucario did! But he kept a low profile to avoid being seen!
Lucario: [speaks quietly] Why those little robbers! They're stealing Marinette's idea! [to the fourth wall] And if you're wondering why I'm talking like a human, folks! It's because of a reference thing involving a large red canine!
Later, at Marinette's place, Marinette set to work making her derby hat! She made measurements, cut the fabric, put together the hat piece by piece, and Tikki even brought her an apple!
Tikki: [trips] Whoa!
But, Marinette caught it when it rolled to her!
Marinette: [giggles] [takes a bite]
Tikki: [giggles]
Ash: [with a bowl of Pokémon food] Tikki! Pikachu! Snack time!
Pikachu: [happy] [runs over] PIKA PIKA!
Tikki: Ooh! [flies over]
Then, they started eating!
Tikki: Mmmm! Yummy!
Pikachu: [eating] [smiles] PIKA PIKA!
Then, Ash noticed Marinette looking for something!
Ash: Hmm? What's up, Marinette?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Tikki: What are you looking for?
Marinette: A feather! I forgot to pick up a pigeon feather for the hat! It has to have a feather!
Ash: Uh oh! That's gonna be a problem!
Then...
Arceus: [invisible] Perhaps I can help you with that!
Marinette: WAH! Who said that?!
Then, Arceus appeared in a middle-weight size!
Ash: [gasps] Arceus!
Pikachu: [gasps] PIKA!
Arceus: Greetings, Ash! And hello to you, Miss Dupain-Cheng, aka Ladybug!
Marinette: [gasps] H-How did you know about my identity?!
Arceus: I am always watching my chosen one! Therefore, I am also watching you and your successes! I overheard your dilemma on making your derby hat inspired by a pigeon! So, [levitates four feathers in front of him] I have procured four feathers from Pokémon that resemble pigeons! A feather from a Pidove, a feather from a Tranquil, and two feathers from an Unfezant! One from a male and one from a female!
Marinette: Wow!
Arceus: [levitates the feathers over to Marinette] These feathers should help with your hat! So this way you won't have to go on a wild goose chase, or should I say pigeon chase!
Marinette: [giggles] Good one! [bows] Thank you so much, great Arceus!
Arceus: My pleasure! And please rise! You bow to no one! Think of me as a friend!
Marinette: [smiles] [rises] [gasps] Wait, if you know my identity, does that mean...
Arceus: Yes, I do! But for yours, mine and everyone else's safety, I will not say his name!
Marinette: [smiles] Thank you, Arceus! No one must know our secret identities! Not even me and Cat Noir!
Arceus: Exactly! Now, I must return! Farewell, my friends! [disappears]
Ash: Bye, Arceus!
Pikachu: [waving goodbye] PIKA PIKA!
Marinette: Wow! You never told me Arceus was really nice, Ash!
Ash: Yep! He sure is! The God of all Pokémon!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Marinette: Cool!
Pigeons: [cooing]
Then, multiple pigeons were gathered outside on the balcony!
Marinette: [startled by pigeons] Ah! Uh, this is weird.
Ash: What's going on, Marinette? [sees the pigeons] Huh? Where'd you all come from?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Rotom Phone: Akuma Alert! Akuma Alert!
Ash: [gasps] An Akuma Alert!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Marinette: What?! How'd you get that on your Rotom Phone?
Ash: I recently installed an app that gives an alert when an akuma is about!
Marinette: Huh. Nifty!
Ash then looked up the news!
Nadja: [from screen] Pigeons have taken over Paris. This is just one of the many alarming situations giving authorities cause for major concern. [touches her earpiece] Yes, I've just been told that someone named "Mr. Pigeon" is making an announcement.
Ash: Mr. Pigeon?
Pikachu: [tilts his head in confusion] PIKA?
Mr. Pigeon: [from screen] Oh, dreary day, poor Parisians. [pigeon noises] Sorry to ruffle your feathers, but Paris now belongs to the pigeons! Flap flap! [pigeon noises]
Ash: Uh oh! That sounds like trouble!
Marinette: Paris needs us!
Ash: Yeah! It's hero time!
[Transformation Sequence]
Marinette: Tikki, spots on! Yeah!
Then, Marinette transformed into Ladybug!
Ash: Sky Plate, activate! [places the Sky Plate on his chest]
His clothes gained a sky-blue color scheme, and wings appeared on his back!
Ash: Climb on, Ladybug!
Ladybug: [climbs on] Hm!
Ash: Hold on tight! Up, up [takes flight] and away!
Pikachu: PIKA!
And off they went. When they landed on a rooftop, they saw airplanes made out of pigeons flying through the sky!
Ladybug: Now this is weirder than weird.
Ash: I'll say!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Cat Noir: [from a ledge above them] Birds of a feather, flock together. [sneezes and falls down to where Ladybug and Ash are]
Ash: Gesundheit!
Cat Noir: Thanks, buddy. I'm allergic to feathers. [sneezes again]
Ash: So I see!
Ladybug: That's helpful.
Cat Noir: Tell me about it. [almost sneezes but stops himself] These birds are only part of the problem. The park keepers in Paris are vanishing without a trace.
Ladybug: What? We have to track down Mr. Pigeon ASAP.
Ash: But how?
Cat Noir: Where are we gonna find him?
Ladybug: Hmm, I don't know where we can find him, but I do know where he can find us.
Ash: Yeah! We'll let him find us! Uh, how are we gonna do that?
Ladybug: I'll explain on the way! [swings on her yo-yo] Come on!
Soon, they were at the Place des Vosges, where Cat Noir was wearing a park ranger cap and pretending to be a park ranger, while Ladybug and Ash hid behind a tree nearby.
Cat Noir: [starts to whistle "La Marseillaise"]
Ash: [to Ladybug] You sure this is gonna work, Ladybug?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Ladybug: Let me answer your question with a question! Have I ever steered you wrong?
Ash: Nope!
Ladybug: Then, trust me on this! It's bound to work!
Then, Cat Noir started to dance!
Ladybug: Act natural or he'll never show up!
Cat Noir: What do you mean? I am acting natural.
Ash: Well, it is a bit funny! [chuckles]
Pikachu: [giggles] PIKACHU!
Ash: But she has point, Cat Noir! Be serious!
Cat Noir: Relax, buddy! I got this!
However, a nearby pigeon was watching him and it flew off to report to Mr. Pigeon!
Mr. Pigeon: [to the pigeon, as it lands on his arm] Ladybug and Cat Noir? Job well done, [scratches its chest] buddy-boy. Pigeons will reign supreme! Power to the pigeons!
He jumped off his ledge, and the pigeons formed a platform to carry him off!
["Who's That Pokémon?" time]
[as a magnifying glass shows a gray wing with Pikachu standing with a PokéBall]
Ash: Who's that Pokémon?
[The Pokémon reveals to be Pidove]
Pikachu: PIKA?
Pidove: PIDOVE DOVE!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
[End]
Back with the heroes...
Ladybug: Where is he? He should've been here by now.
Ash: I don't think this is working!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Ladybug: [sarcastically] Thank you, Captain Obvious!
Ash: [pouts] Well, sorry!
Ladybug: [sighs] Sorry, Ash! I'm just a little frustrated that my plan isn't working!
Ash: [smiles] It's okay! We just gotta have patience!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!
Ladybug: Right! Patience!
Pikachu: [ears perk] PIKA!
Ladybug: What is it, Pikachu?
Ash: You hear something, buddy?
Pikachu: [affirmative] PIKACHU!
Cat Noir: [sneezes]
A bunch of pigeons were flying overhead!
Ash: Bingo bango!
Then, a bunch of pigeons formed a big ball and start carrying Cat Noir away!
Ladybug: What the-
Ash: Hook, line and sinker! Let's follow them!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Ladybug: Right!
Ash: Climb on, Ladybug!
Ladybug climbed onto Ash and took flight as they went after the pigeons! Then, the pigeons reached the roof of the Le Grand Paris hotel and dropped Cat Noir off.
Cat Noir: [sneezes]
However, the pigeons just looked at him, just as Ladybug and Ash arrived.
Cat Noir: Where's that bird-brain Mr. Pigeon?
Ash: I don't know!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ladybug: He's gotta be here somewhere...
Ash: Hey! Bird Brain! Show yourself!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
What they didn't know was that Mr. Pigeon was nearby behind them on a swarm of pigeons!
Hawk Moth: [from his lair] If you want to give Paris back to the pigeons for good, you must first rid the city of those three pests.
Then...
Mr. Pigeon: [sounds his bird call]
Then, the pigeons start to circle around Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Ash!
Ash: Uh oh! Trouble!
Ladybug: Call me crazy, but I feel like bird seed all of a sudden.
Cat Noir: Got any bright ideas, bug?
Ladybug: You're the cat, don't you eat these things for breakfast?
Ash: That won't be necessary! I got a much better idea! Pikachu, cover us with Electroweb!
Pikachu: [complying] PIKA! [Electroweb move] PIKA...PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA...CHU-PIKA!
The Electroweb covered the three heroes protecting them from the pigeons!
Ladybug: Good thinking, Ash!
Ash: Those pigeons won't even think of coming near our Electroweb forcefield!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Cat Noir: Very clever, buddy!
But when the Electroweb wore off, the pigeons brought a gigantic cage down on them!
Ladybug: Look!
Ash: Hey! What is this?!
Mr. Pigeon: [bird noises] Turpy day. I'm so ruthless. [chuckles]
Ash: So! Very clever for a bird brain!
Pikachu: [cheeks sparking wildly] PIKA PIKA!
Hawk Moth: [from his lair] Excellent. Now take their Miraculous!
Mr. Pigeon: [bird noises] Your Miraculous. Give them to me or face the wrath of my feathered friends. [sounds his bird call]
Ash: Oh, they will! As soon as a Bulbasaur flies!
But then, some of the pigeons start banging on the top of the cage, while others turned around and pointed their behinds at Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Ash!
Ash: Hey! What are they doing?!
Mr. Pigeon: Dada-dee, on the count of three, my beloved pigeons will commence fire.
Ash: Fire?! Fire what?!
Mr. Pigeon: Their waste!
Ash: [face turns green] [gags] GROSS!
Mr. Pigeon: No need to worry, dear boy. You can still save your sorry skins by handing me your Miraculous. One, two...
Ash: Pikachu, don't let 'em open fire! Thunderbolt those dirty birds!
Pikachu: [nods] PIKA! [Thunderbolt move] PIKACHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
That zapped the pigeons silly!
Mr. Pigeon: [gasps horrified] My precious pigeons!
Ash: That's how ya do it!
Ladybug: Cat Noir, the bars!
Cat Noir: Cataclysm!
Then, his claw glowed a black bubbly energy and he used it on the bars!
Mr. Pigeon cowered back toward the edge of the rooftop while Ladybug, Cat Noir and Ash advance on him!
Cat Noir: Well, well. Looks like the pigeon's really a chicken.
Ash: Any last words, bird brain?
Mr. Pigeon: [bird noises] Me? I'm not flying away. I'm just killing two birds with one stone.
Ash: Don't ya mean "three"?!
Mr. Pigeon: Whatever!
He sounded his bird call and jumped over the edge of the roof!
Ladybug and Cat Noir: [gasp]
Ash: What are you doing?! You can't actually fly, you dodo bird!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Some of the pigeons caught him and lifted him back up and take him away in the form of a sleigh!
Mr. Pigeon: [bird noises] Merry Christmas!
Ash: It's not even Christmas!
Then, a flock of pigeons were fired!
Ash: Duck for cover!
And they did just that as they ran inside and closed the door behind them to stop the pigeons!
Ash: [pants] [as he slides down the door] Phew! That was close!
Pikachu: [pants] PI... PIKA...
A bulge formed in the door as pigeons slammed the door at them!
Ash: WAH!
Pikachu: [shocked] PIKA!
Ash: I'm starting to see why pigeons aren't liked in this city!
Mr. Pigeon: I'm not done with you yet! [bird noises]
His pigeons formed an airplane and carried him away!
Ladybug: I think we lost them!
Ash: Well, I do NOT want to go out there again!
Cat Noir: [smirks playfully] Afraid of a few pigeons, buddy?
Ash: Now that I know what they're capable of, yes!
Ladybug: [tries to hold in a snicker]
Ash: But it won't stop me from taking down that bird brain! Though, I honestly don't want what that pigeon did to the door done to me through my chest area!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!
Ash: Besides, taking on some birds will be like... [BANG! (from a pigeon hitting the door)] [as Ash jumps into Ladybug's arms] Nothing! [nervous chuckles]
Pikachu: [sighs] PIKA PI.
Ladybug: [drops Ash]
Ash: Sorry! Let's move!
And they did just that! But as they went down the stairs, Cat Noir's ring began to beep. He only has four minutes left.
Ash: Uh oh! That can't be good!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Cat Noir: I've gotta get out of here before my secret identity's revealed!
Ladybug: Yeah, you wouldn't want to let the cat out of the bag.
Ash: [chuckles] Good one! [hands Cat Noir a miniature container of Pokémon food] Here! Have your kwami try one of these! If Ladybug's kwami likes it, I'm sure yours will too!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Cat Noir: But... what is it?
Ash: It's Pokémon food! I thought if Ladybug's Kwami likes it, yours would too!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Cat Noir: Uh, okay! Thanks!
Soon, they made it to the first floor and start to head out the building. But on their way out, they see a crowd gathered on the entrance.
André: Ladybug, Cat Noir! I'm in great danger- of losing big bucks if my guests leave Paris! You are going to get rid of those pigeons, aren't you?
Ash: [smiles determinedly] Not to worry, Mr. Mayor! Your city's protectors are on the job!
Pikachu: [determined] PIKACHU!
Cat Noir's alarm sounded again, and he began getting nervous!
Cat Noir: [fidgeting] Of course we are, but before we do I have an urgent need.
André: An urgent need?
Ash: What he means to say is that it's serious business!
André: I see, head to the royal suite. [snaps his fingers, as Cat Noir ran to the elevator] There's paper in there, but perhaps you would prefer... a litter tray?
Ash: [snickers] That's kinda funny!
Pikachu: [snickers] PIKA PIKA!
Ladybug: Coo!
Ash: [as he jumps into André's arms] YIKE! A PIGEON! DON'T HURT ME! [realizing] Hey, wait a minute! [glares at Ladybug] Ladybug!
Ladybug: [chuckles]
Ash: That wasn't nice! Way to embarrass me in front of the mayor!
Ladybug: Aw, come on, Ash! It was just a joke!
André: It's quite alright! [to Cat Noir] About that litter tray?
Cat Noir: Uh...? Oh right, no need for litter. But, um, could I have some Camembert? [as the elevator doors closed]
Mayor Bourgeois looked back at Ladybug and Ash, who just shrugged! With Cat Noir...
Cat Noir: [runs into the suite] 'Scuse me, sorry. [slams the door] Emergency!
Then, there's a knock on the door, as Cat Noir opened it!
Butler Jean: How do you like your Camembert?
Cat Noir: Runny! [slams the door again]
And then, there's another knock and Cat Noir opened the door again, and the butler was holding a plate!
Butler Jean: Unpasteurized Camembert, matured for two years. [hands Cat Noir a silver plate]
Cat Noir: [takes it] Thanks!
Then, he slammed the door again!
His transformation ran out and Cat Noir turned back into Adrien, as Plagg spiraled out of the ring and landed on the bed!
Plagg: Oh the exhaustion! My poor aching body, I can't move a muscle!
Adrien: You wanna bet?
He then showed him the camembert cheese and the container of Pokémon food!
Plagg: [gasps] Ah, my gooeyness. [starts devouring the cheese]
Adrien: Eat up buddy. Ladybug needs help.
Plagg: [sees the Pokémon food] What is that?
Adrien: Oh, this is Pokémon food! Ash gave it to me for you to try!
Then, he opened the container, and Plagg took a pellet!
Plagg: [sniffs it] Well, it IS important to try new things! [takes a bite] NOM!
Adrien: Well, whaddya think?
Plagg: Mmm, different! But I like it, even if it's not camembert!
Adrien: I'm glad! [gasps] Oh! Litten! [takes out a PokéBall and opens it]
Litten: [appearing] LITTEN!
Adrien: You must be hungry, huh Litten?
Litten: LITTEN?
Adrien: [shows it the Pokémon food] Here!
Litten: [smiles] LITTEN! [eats the Pokémon food] LIT LITTEN!
Adrien: Is it good?
Litten: [nods] LIT!
Adrien: I'm glad! I'd better get back to Ash and Ladybug! [takes out Litten's PokéBall] Litten, return!
And Litten went back to its PokéBall!
Meanwhile, Ash and Ladybug step out of the elevator into a dining hall with large glass windows.
Ladybug: Great, I can get a much better view from up here. [walks up to a window] Odd, pigeons are flying in the same direction.
Ash: I wonder where they're going?
Ladybug: Who knows. Better go follow them.
The elevator dings, and Cat Noir was inside.
Cat Noir: Ready when you are, LB.
Ladybug: [entering] Let's go!
Ash: [enters with Ladybug] And I think it's time I switch plates!
Ladybug: Which one will it be this time?
Ash: [takes off the Sky Plate] I'll show you! [takes out the Zap Plate] Zap Plate, activate! [places the Zap Plate on his chest]
This time, his clothes gained a yellow color scheme, with lightning bolt decals!
Ash: [smirks]
Cat Noir: Electrifying!
Ash: Yep! [in his head] Uh oh! [smirks mischievously] Here's where I have some fun! [speaks] Hey, Ladybug! [holds out his hand] Slap me some skin!
Ladybug: Huh? Okay! [high-fives him]
But then...
Ladybug: [getting zapped] GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!
Ash: [laughs] Quite a 'shock' for you, doc! [Woody Woodpecker laugh]
Ladybug: Ash, not cool!
Ash: [smiles cheekily] Aw, come on, Ladybug! It was just a joke!
Ladybug: But not a very funny joke either!
Ash: Now you know how I feel about that pigeon joke!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ladybug: Yep! I guess that means we're even!
Ash: Yeah! Yeah, I guess so! Anyway, enough fun! Let's stop Mr. Pigeon!
Pikachu: [determined] [cheeks sparking wildly] PIKA PIKACHU!
Ladybug: Right!
Soon, Ladybug and Cat Noir followed the pigeons, with Ash riding on Dragonite, and they arrived at the Grand Palais. They look inside and see a big cage full of park keepers.
Cat Noir: The Grand Palais. [starts to sneeze, as Ladybug stops him] My pigeon radar is on high alert.
Ladybug: Either your radar is on the brink or Mr. Pigeon's left the park keepers unattended.
Ash: Well, we can't just bust in! He'll french fry us! We'll be sitting ducks!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Cat Noir: Neither will standing around here. Let's set the cat among the pigeons.
Ladybug: Hold up kitty, it's too easy. I've got a plan.
Ash: Lay it on us, Ladybug!
After explaining the plan, they ran around the outside. However, a pigeon spotted them and flew into the building to Mr. Pigeon.
Mr. Pigeon: Perfect timing, hootie ho! We're ready to greet them, aren't we? They're going to fall right into my trap. [as he strokes a pigeon] It won't be long before you get your Miraculous, friend.
Hawk Moth: [from his lair] I can't wait, my dear Pigeon.
Meanwhile, our heroes were running on the rooftop!
Ladybug: If we can destroy that bird call, we'll be able to capture the akuma.
Ash: Yeah! But how? He's got a whole squadron of birdies!
Ladybug: Easy! You and Pikachu can zap them silly!
Ash: Oh right! That works!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Ladybug: [to Cat Noir] Okay, you open the window, I'll grab him and yank him up onto the roof, then you snag his bird call away from him.
Cat Noir: Let's go, early bird gets the worm!
Ash: Or in this case, the bird brained man! [Woody Woodpecker laugh]
But when Cat Noir opened a skylight on the roof, a draft of feathers hit him!
Ash: Looks like Cat Noir is feathered, but not tired!
Cat Noir: [sneezes]
When Ladybug threw her yo-yo, she missed Mr. Pigeon, causing him to turn around!
Ladybug: So much for the element of surprise.
Ash: We should've gotten you allergy pills before coming here!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Ash: No matter! Let's just get 'em!
Then, they jumped in, but Mr. Pigeon jumped back and let the pigeons carry him, as the heroes chased him!
Ash: Come back and fight like a man! [kicks him] HA!
Mr. Pigeon: OOF!
Ash: How do ya like that, dodo bird?!
Mr. Pigeon: Get him, my pigeons!
He blew his bird call, and they went on the attack!
Ash: [launches lightning] HA!
That zapped the pigeons silly!
Mr. Pigeon: [gasps]
Ash: Pikachu, use Quick Attack, then use Iron Tail!
Pikachu: [Quick Attack move] PIKA! PI PI PI PI PI PI PI PI PI PI PI PI PI PIKA! [Iron Tail move] CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...PIKA!
Mr. Pigeon: UGH!
Ash: And that's how it's done!
Ladybug: Nice one!
Then, Mr. Pigeon blew his bird call, and the pigeons formed spheres around his hands!
Ash: Uh oh!
Mr. Pigeon: Deedly-dee dee, come closer, I have a bone to peck with you.
Cat Noir: I'd be honored.
Ash: No, Cat Noir!
Then, Mr. Pigeon hit both Cat Noir and then Ladybug back towards the cage!
Park keeper: Get us out of here, Ladybug!
Ladybug: [throws her yo-yo into the air] Lucky Charm!
And the Lucky Charm was a coin!
Ladybug: A coin? What am I supposed to do with this?
Ash: Play a game of heads or tails?
Pikachu: PIKA PI!
Ladybug: I doubt it!
Then, she began to observe her surroundings! Her thinking vision shows her a beam, a vending machine and the coin!
Mr. Pigeon: You can't buy yourself out of here! [throws a sphere of pigeons at them]
Ash: Quick, Pikachu! Let's shock 'em!
Pikachu: [nods and smiles] PIKA! [Thunderbolt move] PIKACHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
Ash: [launches lightning] HAH!
That zapped the pigeons silly as they did a funny dance!
Mr Pigeon: Oh no! I'll make you pay for that! [charges] [bird noises]
Ash: [launches lightning] HAH!
Mr. Pigeon: [zapped silly] [dances funny] Yodelayheehoo!
Ash: That's what you get for messing with me and my friends! You get the thunder!
Cat Noir: [laughs] That's funny!
Ash: Thanks! Ladybug, now!
Ladybug: On it!
Ladybug starts running towards Mr. Pigeon, slides, and uses her yo-yo to wrap around his left ankle. She jumps up to the beam and back down, making a pulley. She runs to the vending machine at the far end, uses the coin to get a bag of popcorn.
Ash: Do it!
Ladybug: Cat Noir!
Cat Noir: Yeah!
Ladybug throws the bag in the air and Cat Noir throws his staff, which bursts opens the bag!
Ladybug: Snack time, pigeons!
And the pigeons began feasting on the popcorn!
Mr. Pigeon: No!
Ladybug pulls on her yo-yo and lifts Mr. Pigeon up by the ankle. His bird call fell to the ground!
Mr. Pigeon: My bird call! Nooo!
Ladybug: Cat Noir, grab it!
Ash: Quickly!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Cat Noir grabbed it, but then he sneezed and threw it upward!
Ash: Uh oh!
Ladybug runs to get it, dropping Mr. Pigeon, who also runs for it. When Cat Noir recovers, he runs toward it too.
Ash: [runs to towards it]
They all lunge for the bird call. Mr. Pigeon's hand lands on it first, then Ash's, then Cat Noir's, then Ladybug's.
Ash: [points] Hey, look! Check out that beautiful dove!
Mr. Pigeon: [looks] Ooh, where?
Ash: [winks at Ladybug]
Ladybug: Right!
Ladybug uses Cat Noir's hand to break the bird call!
Ladybug: Yes!
Cat Noir: [grabs his aching hand] Ow!
Mr. Pigeon: [gasps] [faints]
Then, the akuma flew out!
Ash: Do your thing, Ladybug!
Ladybug: With pleasure! [opens her yo-yo] No more evildoing for you, little akuma.
Then, she swung her yo-yo around!
Ladybug: Time to de-evilize! [captures the akuma and purifies it] Gotcha!
Then, she released it as a normal butterfly!
Ladybug: Bye bye, little butterfly.
Ladybug: [throws her Lucky Charm into the air] Miraculous Ladybug!
The bird call is fixed, and Roger was returned to the Trocadéro. Mr. Pigeon then turned back into Xavier Ramier!
Xavier: Huh? What happened? Where am I?
Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Ash: [fist bump] Pound it!
Pikachu: [joining in] PIKACHU!
At Hawk Moth's lair...
Hawk Moth: Wretched pigeons, wretched Ladybug. I'll destroy every one of you! [snarls] [as his window closes]
Back at the bakery, Marinette got back to work on her hat!
Marinette: There's no time to lose. I have less than an hour.
Ash: Then, what are we waiting for! Can we create?
Marinette: Yes we can! And I still have the four feathers from the Pidove evolution line!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Soon, Marinette got to working finishing the hat, and Ash added the Pidove, Tranquill, and Unfezant feathers! At Collège Françoise Dupont, everyone was getting ready to present their hats. Alya called Marinette but she didn't respond.
Alya: Where is that girl?
Nathalie: Hello, Mr. Damocles, I am Mr. Agreste's executive assistant Nathalie.
Mr. Damocles: Hello, miss. Pardon me, but where is Mr. Agreste?
Then, Nathalie held up a tablet!
Gabriel: [from tablet] I'm here.
Mr. Damocles: Ah, uh, hello Mr. Agreste. Welcome to our school.
Gabriel: [from tablet] Adrien, take Nathalie around.
Chloé: Ah, there's Mr. Agreste! He's coming this way.
Mr. Damocles: [as they see Juleka and Rose's hat] As you'll see, Mr. Agreste, our students have poured their hearts and souls into their projects.
Ash and Marinette rushed in and carried the box over to Alya!
Marinette: [sighs in relief]
Ash: Just in time!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Lucario: MRAH!
Alya: Where have you been?! You got your hat?
Marinette: Yep, here.
She took off the lid and Alya marveled at it, but then her expression darkened.
Marinette: What?
Ash: Something wrong?
Alya: But, it's the same as Chloé's.
Marinette: What?!
Ash: What do you mean "the same as Chloé's"?!
The judges walked over to see Chloé and Sabrina's hat, which looked exactly like Marinette's!
Chloé: Uh, hi Mr. Agreste. I'm Chloé Bourgeois. You know my father, André Bourgeois, the mayor?
Marinette: Ugh, that thieving little brat!
Ash: She stole your idea!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Lucario: MRAH RAH!
Alya: Do you want me to take care of it?
Marinette: I think I can handle this.
Ash: So can I! Have a look at the feathers, Alya!
Alya: [looks at the feathers] You used four feathers?
Ash: Yep! And they're not just any feathers! They're feathers from the Pokémon, Pidove, Tranquill, and Unfezant!
Alya: Huh. Neat!
The judges came over to view Marinette's hat!
Gabriel: Hm, turn the tablet back to Ms. Bourgeois' hat.
When Nathalie turned the tablet around, Mr. Agreste was not amused!
Gabriel: Is this a joke?
Chloé: No fair! Marinette copied my design! It's scandalous, how could you do that? [fake cries]
Ash: Says the girl that stole our idea first! Anyway, Mr. Agreste, sir! While it is true that they look the same, but they're completely different! Look at the feathers!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Gabriel: [looks at the feathers on Marinette's hat, then looks at the feather in Chloé's] You're right! Your hat has four feathers while Ms. Bourgeois' hat only has one!
Ash: Yes! But they're not just any feathers! [holds up his Rotom Phone, showing the Pidove evolution line with the feathers in the picture] These feathers are from the Pidove evolution line!
Gabriel: Really? Fascinating.
Marinette: Ash is right, Mr. Agreste. Everything on my derby hat is hand-made- from the embroidery to the weaving of the band, to the stitching of the brim. [as Chloé recoils] All done by myself. And last, there's a special design element that only the true designer knows about: I signed mine.
Chloé knocked over her derby hat stand, and everyone turns to look at it on the ground, revealing Marinette's signature!
Chloé: [runs out crying] Daddy!
Ash: [sweat drops] Oh brother!
Pikachu: [sweat drops] PIKA!
Lucario: [sweat drops] MRAH!
Gabriel: Very exquisite creation. You definitely have the laboring hands of a hat maker, miss...
Adrien: Marinette. [puts his hand on Marinette's shoulder]
Gabriel: Congratulations on your demonstration, Miss Marinette. You're the winner.
Marinette: [looks at Alya and gasps] [bowing] Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Gabriel: Adrien will wear your derby on our next advertising campaign.
Ash: Alright!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Lucario: MRAH!
Ash: [to Marinette] Congratulations, Marinette!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Marinette: Thanks, Ash! But I couldn't have done it without you!
Ash: [giggles]
Adrien puts his hands over Marinette's hands on the hat, causing her to gasp and blush.
Adrien: Awesome job, Marinette.
Marinette: [blushing] [giggles]
Adrien begins to put on the derby hat, but he starts to sneeze!
Adrien: A-achoo! [wipes his nose with his hand] Uh- sorry, I'm allergic to feathers. [sneezes]
Ash: So I see! Might I suggest some allergy pills? If your dad approves! That way you won't have to worry about sneezing and your feather allergy!
Adrien: [smiles] That would help a lot! Thanks, Ash! [sneezes]
Marinette: [looks surprised, then smiles] Gesundheit!
Ash: [chuckles] What she said! [goes over to Juleka and Rose] Hey, Juleka! Rose!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Rose: Hi, Ash! Pikachu! Congratulations on the win!
Juleka: [smiles] Awesome job.
Ash: Thanks, girls! But the credit goes to Marinette! She's the one that earned it!
Rose: But you probably came up with the idea for those four feathers on Marinette's hat!
Ash: [rubs his neck sheepishly] Yeah, I guess you're right!
Then, Ash noticed their hat!
Ash: Wow! Your hat looks so awesome! It even has gears on it!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Juleka: Thanks.
Rose: We're glad you like it! [gasps] Idea! [places it on Pikachu's head]
Pikachu: PI? [smiles] PIKA!
Rose: [places her hands on her cheeks] Oh, you look even cuter with that hat on!
Pikachu: [happy] PIKA PIKA!
Ash: It does look good on you, Pikachu!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Juleka: It looks great!
Ash: I'll say! You two are really creative!
Rose: Thanks, Ash!
Juleka just blushed and smiled!
Juleka: Yeah. Thanks.
Ash: No problem!
Adrien: [sneezes]
Marinette: Gesundheit! Again!
Adrien: [sneezes again and waves] Thanks.
Ash, Alya, and Marinette look at each other with happy expressions!
Marinette: Whoo hoo! [laughing]
Ash: Yeah! [laughing]
Pikachu: [happy] PIKA!
The scene ends with Ash, Pikachu, Lucario, Marinette, and Alya celebrating with a bunch of pigeons around Marinette's hat, and Adrien sneezing!
Narrator: I guess all's well that ends well for Marinette and Ash! And hopefully, we might see Adrien wearing his hat in the future! As the journey in Paris continues!
