Chapter 2: Training and Learning in Anima, Black, and White! Part 2

TV's Dimension

(SMG2's POV)

I continued my training in Anima Magic with the White class. Like I said before, White Anima Magic most lean more on healing, support, buffs, debuffs, support, etc.

My Mana or MP reserves have increased by quite a lot after learning and mastering my Black Anima spells, using Mana Meditation, and from all the constant exercises I've done, which did wonders for my body by the way.

Before I was skinny, underweight and about 5'04" inches tall. But after exercising a lot and improving my body, I'm now 6'01 inches tall and gained a somewhat fit body with small muscles and losing a small amount of baby fat. And I felt good and proud of myself.

Anyway, I focused on learning basic White Magic spells. So far I've learned the Mana Transfer, Mana Extract, Heal, Cure, Drain, Mana Absorb, Mana Bolt, and Mana Blast spells. And it was quite straining for me a lot.

Mana Transfer allows me to transfer Mana/MP to an object or another person. In battle, if you have some MP to spare, you can transfer some of it to either an ally, partner, or teammate who is running low MP and need it the most.

Mana Extract can be used to extract or take MP from anything that has it and can be used on another person to extract their MP without causing harm to them.

The Heal spell is your basic healing spell that heals wounds and injuries. In other words, it's basically the Cure spell from Final Fantasy.

The Cure spell can cure or remove any status ailments such as poison, venom, induced sleep, and is also used in removing common cold, fevers, etc., however, there are ailments and such that it can't heal or remove such as curses and certain poisons and illnesses, and the like.

Yes. The Heal spell heals wounds, and the Cure spell cures disease and status ailments. Honestly, this makes more sense in my opinion, and I can bet some people agree with me. And I know the Cure spell from Final Fantasy is based on the "Cure Light Wounds" from Dungeons and Dragons.

TV said that mages or anybody that wields this class of magic are usually healers, doctors, and White Mages in Tearrosia.

Drain, my first offensive White Magic spell, harms and saps the nutrients and energy of an enemy and returns it to the user to replenish HP and heal any damage done to them.

Mana Absorb allows the user to absorb or steal Mana from an enemy during battle. This spell was of course made using the Mana Extract spell as the basis for it.

Mana Bolt is an offensive spell that allows the user to attack an enemy by shooting a ball of Mana. It's used as self-defense by healers and doctors from Tearrosia and a majority of White Mage and/or other users topically learn this as their first offensive spell.

And finally, Mana Blast allows me to create a blast of Mana to attack enemies and deal heavy damage. It got it down quickly and it was worth it in the end. Also, while we're at it I should probably explain Numeric Levels to you all.

Numeric Levels are the scaled power and intensity of a technique, spell, Ki Technique, PSI Technique, etc.

They are usually represented using the Roman Numeral Symbols such as I, II, and III. The higher the number, the more powerful the spell can be. They are also called Symbol Levels.

For example, the Fire spell in its Level I Form is relatively weak or standard but is much stronger and more defined in its Level II Form. It helps regulate the amount of power and intensity of a spell, allowing the user to use the amount of Mana and power desired, like let's say I wanna use the Fire spell to light a candle so I use it in Level I Form to make a small flame at the tip of my finger like a lighter.

Anywho, I continued with my training and I eventually manage to master my spells. But, that didn't stop there. Far from it. I continued to learn and I started improving as many as my spells possible.

I first started with my Black Anima spells; my Fire, Water, Ice, Lightning, Thunder, and Leaf spells. I trained and improved them and I was able to make them stronger.

Right now, both my Fire, Water, and Leaf spells have now reached Numeric Levels I to III while my Ice, Lightning, and Thunder spells have only reached Numeric Levels of I and II, but I didn't mind cause in the end I was satisfied with the results.

And with my White Anima spells; Mana Meditation, Mana Transfer, Mana Extract, Heal, Cure, Drain, Mana Absorb, Mana Bolt, and Mana Blast.

I have reached Levels I to III for Mana Meditation, Mana Transfer, Mana Extract, Drain, Mana Absorb, Mana Bolt, and Mana Blast while I only reached I to II for Heal and Cure.

Afterward, I trained even further and I managed to learn more new spells along the way and have reached greater heights in the two classes and my Anima Magic as a whole. I've learned the Fireka (I, II), Watera (I, II), Lightnira (I, II), Thundra (I, II), Bolt (I, II, III), Icela (I, II, III), Ice floor, Ice Shard, Blizzard, Leafra (I, II), Leaf Blade (I, II, III), Quake (I, II, III), and Solar Beam.

Fireka, Watera, Icela, and Leafra are stronger versions of my older spells. They're basically like Fira, Thundera, etc.

I was able to achieve these spells after mastering the first ones and manage to learn them well enough. TV also went and created moving dummies and targets for my training. And these were true, literal moving dummies and targets animated by magic. Moving around at fast speeds faster than most (normal) humans can handle.

Ice Floor allows me to freeze the floor and can be used to encase the enemies' feet into the frozen ground. I had to use a fair amount of Mana when using this spell as I kept on trying to freeze the floor.

Ice Shard is an attack that allows me to shoot big shards of ice at enemies doing heavy damage. It can target multiple enemies or deal greater damage at a single target. This, like Ice Floor, was also hard as I kept trying to focus on creating big chunks of ice shards and firing them at my targets, and similar to my very first attempts in magic, I failed a lot. I first started with only one target and it wasn't hard at all, but then I started on hitting multiple targets and that's where I struggled with. I kept missing a majority of my targets, only ever hitting 1-4 out of 15 moving targets. But, I eventually got it right in the end.

Blizzard allows me to create a blizzard to attack enemies, and the Quake spell creates a small earthquake to attack enemies. And let's just say I miiiight have made a lot of damage when practicing. Don't get me wrong, they were a big pain in the ass for me to learn as I found myself struggling to successfully use them once, but worth it.

Both these spells are strong BUT the last ones are one of my personal favorites.

Leaf Blade and Solar Beam...

Leaf Blade allows me to create a sharp leaf that's as sharp as a blade or even more which I can use to slash enemies and can do serious damage. And then there's the Solar Beam spell... And let's just say I love it.

The Solar Beam spell is an attacking spell that allows the user to absorb/gather solar energy or other forms of light and heat or energy and concentrate it into a ball of solar energy (usually between cupped hands) before firing a powerful beam. Both these spells, in my opinion, are cool and awesome and I love'em.

I cannot tell how many times I spent slashing everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, using Leaf Blade. I have slashed and cut through so many dummies and targets when having fun with this thing when I finally learned and practiced. And then, there's the Solar Beam and let's just saayyyy... I might have gone overboard when using it a lot. After struggling to learn and master it, I immediately ran around TV's Dimension like a crazed maniac shooting as many beams as possible even after all my targets and moving dummies were destroyed. And throughout my rampaging "fun", TV just watch on with/displaying that big uncanny grin on his face or screen? Eh. With what looked like amusement.

Anyway, I continued my training and have improved through leaps and bounds, learning and mastering new spells and techniques to better myself further. It felt good and to be honest, I was happy. I've never had this much fun since I was much younger and well... I also felt proud of myself. Back in my old life, I didn't really have many friends, only a handful. I never really socialized and just isolated myself away from most social interactions and activities. I would just usually stay in my seat quietly, alone with my own thoughts as everyone else did their own things. I on the other hand would just sit there, escaping into my mind. Although, I felt lonely at times and wished I could go out and hang out with friends as most people do. But I was not like most people.

And so I continued on training and learning, and the next thing I was gonna do would come soon...

End of Chapter 2

A/N: Hey guys I just wanna say things have gotten kinda hectic recently so sorry for any of you guys.

Also, I'll try to slowly move the story along and there will be some new arcs as well and the Fairy Tail that this version of SMG2 ends up in won't be the same Fairy Tail universe you'll know...

Anyway, that's all for now, peace!
