I have returned with another chapter!
Reviews from FFN:
Ahsoei: Really? Huh, I was taking my time for that chapter. As for the control bit, well the way I see it is that Edgeshot and Best Jeanist do have great control but they don't have the experience or the context when it comes to massive powers. They won't be able to understand why Izuku had such a problem handling such a massive amount of power. Miruko however does because she knows how it feels like to have a massive amount of power behind every action. The best way I can put it is this. Izuku has power but needs control, those two have power from control. It does get mentioned later in the chapter as well.
Shin: In all honesty, I was also not a fan of her at first, not because of her chasing glory but because she was rather vain at first. But over time I really grew to like her especially after seeing her grow during these last few arcs.
Dragon And Sword Master: Izuku is smart after all, he needs to be quick on his feet.
Solbandgus: True, her first impression doesn't really help her. As for Ochako, yeah I stumbled on a few fics that do for some reason. It was…..weird so to speak. Also, HPSC won't really play a big role for a while. I'm just showing that Izuku's actions do have some really bad consequences along with good ones. They're just hidden right now and will slowly start to show themselves.
Raech: ….Well fuck. I managed to get back to the people that helped me with that word and agreed that it was a mistranslation and a mistake on their part. Thanks for telling me this and I'll slowly start to edit it out in the previous chapters. Meitai will be changed into Kura yo I guess since that also works.

Chapter 29
The class chatted with each other as they all walked towards the train station with Nagant leading them. Their costume suitcases were held firmly in hand as they made their way there.
A couple of days had passed since the day they chose their hero names and internships. It was the start date of their internships, and they would be staying with the respective agency of their choice throughout the week. Right now they are about to make their way towards their internships via train.
"You kids better behave, alright? You're carrying UA's reputation along with you, so you better act properly." Nagant reminded them, making them all nod in confirmation.
"Yes sensei!"
"Umm sensei!" Toru raised her arm, "Where's 1-B? I thought they would be joining us?" She asked curiously.
"Oh, they went ahead already," Nagant waved away, making them all balk in surprise. "Vlad had made them come a bit early to get settled down early as well."
"Must have been hell for them then." Kaminari laughed, feeling some pity for his fellow hero course students.
"Thank god sensei didn't ask us to come early too." Mina sighed in relief, making everyone nod in agreement.
'That's mostly because I hate mornings, and it's actually normal to come early. But they don't need to know that.' Nagant thought to herself as she purposefully looked away from them.
Then they arrived in front of the station, Nagant gesturing them to go ahead.
"Those student IDs of yours will cover the transport cost so don't worry too much about it. Remember to behave and try your best to get as much experience from this internship. It will help you a lot in the future, is that clear?" She asked.
"Yes sensei!"
With that the students started to make their way into the station, moving quickly to get their tickets and start hopping into the train.
"Iida," Nagant stopped the boy as he passed her. "Remember what I told you?"
"Not to cause trouble and try to focus on myself." The boy answered.
"Exactly, your brother would not want you to dwell too much on his injury. Focus on becoming a better hero, then worry about Stain. Understood?"
Iida nodded determinedly at that, "Yes sensei!"
With that, he made his way into the station with Nagant looking on.
After the news of his brother had broken out, Nagant was of course distraught for her student. Her worry became even more apparent when she saw his internship application being in Hosu, a currently active spot of Stain's activities. That little tidbit of info paired with his strange behavior had made Nagant realize that the boy was planning something stupid. She had seen it enough times with other heroes, it was even easier to spot when looking at an emotional teenager.
With that little info, she had immediately raised her concerns about it to Iida's parents which had led to her meeting the family to help them make Iida realize how stupid it was. There was some screaming, some crying but by the end of it all, they managed to get through to him and help change his application.
All in all a rather eventful day but pretty normal for a teacher.
Izuku noticed Iida walking into the train, making him notice the strange determined expression on his face.
"You ok Iida?" He asked with some concern in his tone as he sat beside the boy.
"I'm alright Midoriya, better than ever actually." The boy smiled towards the verdette.
"Oh? How so?"
"The last few days had me in a rather rough situation," He revealed, "But sensei managed to snap me out of it with her intervention. I admit I was mad at first but in the end, I realized she was looking out for me."
"Yeah," Izuku smiled at that. "She's really looking out for us. For all of us." He said while looking towards the rest of his classmates who were waving their hands towards their sensei through the windows. Something that was returned rather cheerily.
After telling her about his encounter with the HPSC agent, Nagant had become rather protective of him. Of course, they can't really do any obvious move like moving away or anything as that might cause the HPSC to do more drastic moves but Nagant did promise she'll keep a closer eye on him and his family with the help of Nezu. Ever since then she started to get more closer to him which he didn't really mind that much for some reason.
"That indeed," Iida smiled as they both waved towards her, right as the train started to move.
[-]
The train kept on moving, bit by bit most of them started to step off the train as they had already arrived at their location. It had gotten to the point that only Izuku and Momo were left on the train.
"I'm getting off at the next stop, you?" Izuku asked her curiously as they sat next to each other.
"Same actually, the agencies must be pretty close," Momo remarked.
"Well, more chances to see you then," Izuku smirked at her, making her lightly slap his shoulder with her own amused smile.
"Since when did you become this bold? Not that I'm complaining of course." Momo asked.
"Apparently hanging around with Yui had made me more...outspoken. I kinda like it."
"Well I have to thank her after this then, I quite enjoy it." She said while leaning into him, making him smile as they sat with each with content clear in their features.
"How's Eri by the way?" Momo asked softly.
"She's doing fine, ever since you and Yui started coming by she was looking forward to you two coming again. She really likes you both."
"That's good to hear, I'll try to come more frequently then."
"Eri would love that."
"And your mother too if I remembered right." She giggled while he sighed in amusement, remembering how much his mother had taken a liking to them.
"...How's the investigation?" Momo asked with some worry in her tone.
Ever since he had informed UA of Eri, the police had started an investigation into her background. Trying to see if they could find anything about her.
"So far nothing, they're keeping us in the dark for now so they can focus on the investigation and not give any false hopes. Honestly, it's a bit frustrating but I can understand where they're coming from," Izuku admitted.
"I see," She sighed before holding his hand, gripping it assuringly. "It's ok to be frustrated, I'm here if you need to talk about it."
"Thanks Momo."
"Anytime Izuku." She glanced up towards him, making him look down towards her.
Both of them stared into each other's eyes, emerald green meeting onyx black. Both of them slowly leaned into each other as they claimed each other's lips. The kiss itself was rather chaste and a bit innocent, but judging by the low humming from them it's clear that they both enjoyed it.
It didn't take long for them to separate, smiling as they did so.
"This feels nice." Izuku spoke up.
"Being with me or the kiss?" She asked with a teasing smile.
He blushed a bit in response but still answered. "Both, I really like being with you Momo. It feels relaxing and enjoyable whenever I'm with you. And that kiss was rather amazing." He said while leaning his head above hers as he hugged her closer.
She blushed a bit from the close contact but her smile showed that she was enjoying this. "I like being with you too, Izuku. You make me feel warm, safe, and special even." She admitted as she snuggled closer towards him, if anyone saw them they would only see a very happy couple who was happy with just being close to each other. But no one was on the train so they were left with their privacy.
They stayed that way until the train reached their stop, forcing them to separate much to their disappointment.
They stepped out of the train and out of the station, looking around the current area with some hesitation. Both of them checked on their phones as they tried to find the agency, after confirming their choice their respective agency should send them an email of their location and how to get there from the station.
"Guess this is where we split up?" Izuku asked with some hesitation.
"Let's just stay with each other until we need to, I'd like to stay with you for a while before going to my internship." Momo said with a bit of a shy smile, making him smile brightly in response.
"Sure!"
With that, both of them start to make their way through the city. Walking through the street as they passed by a couple of interesting establishments that caught their eyes.
It also didn't take long for both of them to notice that they were going in the same direction.
"Izuku, are you interning with Ryukyu?" Momo suddenly asked.
"Well she did send an offer but no, I'm actually going with Miruko." He answered. "You chose Ryukyu?"
"Yes, I thought it would be fitting since she's a very well-rounded hero. I could learn a lot from her." She nodded at him, "I guess it's to be expected that you chose Miruko, it was quite surprising to hear that she was offering an internship to you." She admitted, remembering how shocked they were when they heard that. Miruko was famous for her hatred for teams after all and it was rather obvious that she never took interns with her.
He nodded at that, "Yeah, I thought it would be nice to try to intern under her. Besides that, she also has very high strength. Almost comparable to All Might, maybe I can learn some control techniques from her. With such vast strength, control would be a very important skill to have." He said while raising his hand, allowing some sparks of black energy to flicker around it.
"If I can get some advice from her, maybe I can learn how to effectively expand and use Orbit with it." He said while deactivating his quirk.
"I see," She nodded at that, understanding the logic behind it. Control was a rather stubborn aspect of his quirk from what she remembered, it had caused him to learn how to use his quirk in other ways which had led to him developing the Shroud State.
"But I remembered that you had some offers from Edgeshot and Best Jeanist as well. They have pretty good control over their quirk, why not join them?" Momo asked curiously.
Izuku shook his head at that, "They do have good control, but they don't really have the context or experience of what it feels like to have a massive amount of power behind each and every move they make. They might have great control but the quirks on their own aren't really that impressive power-wise. But if I go with Miruko, she would know and understand the context better as she has experience with it."
Momo nodded as she heard that, "I see, that does make some sense."
Both of them then stopped in front of a large building, a large sign containing a dragon's head with wings enveloping it as a symbol could be seen at the top of the building. The building itself was fifteen stories high, and some dragon-themed designs could be seen around the building making it clear who it belongs to.
Both students now stood before Ryukyu's agency, making them balk a bit from the rather magnificent image. Izuku was almost vibrating from his spot as he stood before the agency.
"Well I'm already at my stop. I'll see you around then?" Momo asked him, however, he didn't respond as Izuku was staring really hard on his phone.
"That's weird..." Izuku muttered as he stared at his phone.
"Izuku?"
"Oh sorry Momo, it's just…" He sighed before showing her his phone. "It says I've already arrived, which is weird. I thought I would see some other agency near it since Miruko had never really made it public where her agency was located."
"You don't mean…." She trailed off before looking towards the only agency around, something that was followed by Izuku.
"...Well the media did say that both of them are close." Momo remarked.
"Yeah but to share agencies with Ryukyu?" Izuku asked skeptically.
"I mean it's not that rare, a few heroes do share agencies." She pointed out.
"True but that is mostly for hero teams and we both know how much Miruko hates that." Izuku countered, making her nod in agreement.
"Well let's just ask around then, at worst you could get it wrong and we can have Ryukyu to try to call Miruko." Momo suggested.
"Sure, I could ask for her autograph too while at it!" Izuku said happily, making Momo giggle at his words.
Both of them make their way past the guards rather easily after showing their student IDs, allowing them to enter the building safely and without much complication.
The building itself was rather bustling. There were some costumed sidekicks running around the building with a few finely dressed civilians in the mix roaming along with them. Some were just relaxing while talking to their co-workers while a few of them were rushing along with either paperworks in their hands or just generally running towards another room or the elevator.
All in all, they all looked rather busy.
Both students made their way towards the receptionist counter, where they could see a woman with horns on top of her hair typing away on a computer. She perked up when hearing footsteps approaching the counter, looking up to see who it was.
"Hello ma'am, we're both from UA and we're here for Ryukyu's internship." Momo said, "My name is Yaoyorozu Momo and this is Midoriya Izuku."
The woman widened her eyes at that, "Ah right you're the UA students who are coming today, another one of you had come earlier!" She exclaimed before typing some stuff on the computer, missing the curious and confused look that was shared between the two students. There was another student?
The woman then nodded with a confident smile once she was finished. "Just go to the lift and pick the 13th floor, it will bring you to Ryukyu's office. That is the only office on that floor."
"Right, thank you ma'am!" Momo thanked her before making her way towards the lift right beside the receptionist desk, Izuku following close behind her.
Both of them entered the elevator after some time of waiting, entering it with a couple of workers and sidekicks. As they rose through the floors, one by one the workers and sidekicks left the elevator until the only ones left were the two students.
The bell dinged as the elevator stopped on the thirteenth floor, allowing them to exit the elevator and into the long hallway that only led to a red double door at the end. The hallway itself looked rather fancy, a red carpet on the floor with a white ceiling and walls.
With another glance towards each other, both of them made their way towards the door. Giving it a brief knock to announce their arrival.
"Come in!" A faint reply came.
"Well this is it," Momo sighed nervously, Izuku held her hand to give her a reassuring squeeze.
"It'll be fine, I'm here with you. Well until Ryukyu can tell me where Miruko is of course." Izuku laughed sheepishly.
"Right," Momo laughed along but still grateful for his presence.
With that, both of them released each other's hands as they opened the door.
Inside was a rather large room, red carpet filling the floor. Dark ceiling and walls but the lighting made up for the lack of light. At the edge of the room was a large window that covered the whole side, overlooking the city. Before the window, was a large desk with a couple of papers on it. Right in front of the desk, were two couches that were facing each other with a long coffee table in the middle. There also seemed to be a couple of doors at the side of the room leading into different areas. The whole room seemed rather lavish and extravagant with all the expensive-looking furniture.
However, despite all the lavishness the one thing that surprised them was the form of Yui sitting on one of the couches, facing towards them with some surprise in her eyes.
"Yui?!" Both of them called out as they entered the room.
"Oh, so you both got an offer from Ryukyu as well?" Yui asked them.
"Yeah we did but I actually came here because of Miruko." Izuku answered, and she gave him a nod.
"I didn't expect you to be here Yui." Momo spoke out though her tone suggested that she was happy to see her here too.
"I could say the same to you." Yui nodded.
"I see you three know each other then." A voice speaks up, making all three look towards the source. Seeing Ryukyu was sitting behind the desk as she looked towards the scene with some amusement.
"Ah sorry Ryukyu-san, we were a bit surprised." Momo apologized with a low bow.
"It's fine," Ryukyu waved it off. "Welcome you two, Kodai here had just arrived a couple of minutes ago so we were just waiting for you Yaoyorozu. And as for you…" She then looked towards Izuku, who smiled sheepishly under her gaze.
"As you've heard I'm here for Miruko's internship. The address that she sent led me here so I thought I would ask you about it since you two are close." Izuku explained, making her nod in understanding.
"An understandable choice," She nodded, fully aware that the media had already published the close friendship she has with Miruko.
"Honestly that woman, she can be a pain sometimes." Ryukyu sighed a bit exhausted, making everyone laugh a bit sheepishly.
"Speaking of Miruko," She said while looking towards the clock, she then revealed a button on top of her desk and pressed it. Opening the windows behind her, much to the students' confusion.
Before they could ask about it, however, a white blur could be seen jumping around outside the building before rushing towards the window. Sliding through the ground as the blur revealed herself to be Miruko.
"Miruko?!" The three called out in shock.
"Yo!" She waved towards them with a cocky grin, Ryukyu on the other hand just sighed as she closed the window with another tap on the button.
"You know the front door exists for a reason right?" Ryukyu asked.
"Yeah but this way is far more fun, and if you don't want me to enter this way then don't open the window every time I come." Miruko pointed out.
"That's because if I didn't then you would crash into the window regardless!"
The three students watched the back and forth between the two heroines, blinking in slight awe and confusion as they saw them bicker with no real heat between them.
Ryukyu then sighed and calmed herself down, "Anyways! Your intern is here." She said while gesturing towards Izuku, who stiffened a bit under the bunny hero's gaze.
Miruko smiled as she saw him, walking towards him while forcing him to look down slightly. It was slightly comical to see, the heroine was rather short when compared to the verdette before her, much to Ryukyu's amusement.
"This is my first time offering an internship, so great to have ya kid!" She offered her hand, making him smile as he shook her hand.
"It's an honor to be here as well Miruko-san!"
Miruko smiled at that before looking towards Ryukyu questioningly, "Now what?"
The facepalm that occurred right after could be heard throughout the floor.
"You have no idea what you're doing, do you?" Ryukyu asked with a groan as she slid her hand down her face.
"Nope!" Came the cheery reply, making the students laugh sheepishly at that.
This was going to be a loooong week.
[-]
After some slight argument between the two heroines, the three students then were led into another room inside the floor by them, and it turns out the top two floors were basically Ryukyu's home.
Easier to come to work, she said, which was rather understandable.
Well that and the extra space.
Two whole floors were rather spacious after all.
All three were led into a living room after some twist and turns, allowing them to see the vast space. In a corner they could see a rather large kitchen, in the middle of the room was a large couch facing a television that was nailed to the wall with a desk right under it. There were also a couple more pieces of furniture around the room with a couple more doors leading to other rooms. There was also a spiraling staircase in the corner of the room that leads to the top level. Just like the office from before, there was also a window that covered the whole side of the room that overlooked parts of the city.
"Woah," Izuku gasped while both Yui and Momo barely even blinked at such a lavish sight.
"Pretty neat." Yui nodded.
"Pretty adequate really." Momo on the other hand only looked unimpressed.
"Oh yeah, they're rich kids." Miruko bluntly pointed out, making Momo blush in embarrassment while Yui merely nodded.
"I'm sorry I wasn't too rude was I?" Momo apologized but Ryukyu merely waved it away.
"It's fine Yaoyorozu, I already had read your files so I had expected it already." Ryukyu waved it away with an easy smile.
"Hmm I think we can just rest for today, we'll start your internship tomorrow." She said while observing the city, "Today is my rest day anyways, taking some break from hero work and just leaving it to my sidekicks."
"Would that be ok?" Izuku asked a bit worriedly.
"It'll be fine! One of the pros of doing hero work is that you can set your own time on when to work. As long as you do your job, you can just have a rest day whenever, within reason of course." Ryukyu explained, making them all nod. "My sidekicks can handle a single day, they'll be fine."
"I see," Izuku nodded before looking towards Miruko, "What about us then?"
Miruko just shrugged, "I'm still new to this whole thing kid, so for now I'm just following her lead. Of course I can still help with anything that you ask if you need it." Miruko explained, and he nodded.
"The two of you can stay in the guest room I had already prepared," Ryukyu said towards Momo and Yui as she gestured to a room. She then looked towards Miruko with a half-lidded deadpanned gaze, "I'm guessing you're staying here too?"
"Yep! It'd be best for Midoriya to be here for now, would be a good way to hang with him too!"
"You're not doing hero work today?" Ryukyu asked her with a raised eyebrow.
"Nope, since I've got an intern to care for now might as well learn all I could from you before doing my own thing." Miruko admitted, making Ryukyu blink in surprise.
"You're really taking this seriously, huh? I would have thought that you would have him do some crazy training or something…"
"Nah! I mean I did think of it but I think it's better that I learn what he needs first before I do anything. Besides, the kid is plenty strong already, just needs some refining." She grinned towards Izuku, who gave her a sheepish smile, but there was some pride in his eyes as he heard that.
"Guess even you can surprise me sometimes…" Ryukyu muttered.
"The hell was that supposed to mean?!" Miruko however managed to overhear it thanks to her more sensitive hearing.
"Nothing! You know which room is yours, I'll lead Midoriya here to his. The two of you on the other hand can start changing and getting some rest, make yourself at home and the TV is yours to use." Ryukyu said, making Momo look a bit hesitant.
"Are you sure?"
"Of course! Now come on Midoriya!" She said, making Midoriya hurry after her.
"Right!"
Izuku followed after her, walking into another room as she opened the door for him.
The room itself was a bit spacious, the walls were white and there were a few necessary pieces of furniture around the room like a bookshelf and a desk. The bed itself was reasonably sized and there was also a door that led to what looked like a washroom.
"This'll be your room, hope it's up to your standards." She laughed slightly
"This is perfect actually, thank you Ryukyu." He thanked her, "Sorry if this sounds weird but why do you have so many guest rooms?"
"I took on a lot of interns back in my earlier years and it became useful to have multiple rooms." She explained
"I see," He nodded, understanding the logic behind it. "Oh and one more thing!"
"Yes?" Ryukyu raised an eyebrow.
"Can I have your autograph?" He asked excitedly as he pulled out his notebook, making her laugh from the suddenness of it all.
"Sure!"
After that, Ryukyu had left him to his devices. Letting him change quickly and even taking a quick shower.
He couldn't really believe that he was taking a shower inside Ryukyu's agency! And he's also interning under Miruko! Her first intern at that too!
He quickly dried himself off and wore some new clothes, storing his bags and the suitcase that contained his suit in a secure place before making his way out of the room.
He had worn a black shirt that fits him rather snugly and some baggy pants. His hair was still a bit wet from the shower but he looked rather comfy looking.
He could also see both Momo and Yui sitting on the couch as they browsed through the TV to see if there's anything good.
He walked over towards them and could now see them clearly.
Yui was wearing a bright pink long sleeve shirt that was sinfully tight around her, completely showing off her curves. She was also wearing a long black skirt.
Momo on the other hand was merely wearing something simple, a white blouse along with black pants. Just like Yui, her outfit managed to highlight her curves rather nicely and even showed off some of her assets.
Izuku tried his best to suppress his blush as he smiled at them, "You two really took the 'make yourself at home' comment seriously huh?" He smiled.
"Well she did offer," Momo defended herself while Yui nodded in agreement. Izuku just laughed at that.
"Come here, I wanna cuddle." Yui said before dragging him to the couch, putting him between Momo and her. Yui immediately latched on to his side as she cuddled with him, something that was followed by Momo.
"You know both Miruko and Ryukyu could come into the room and see us right?" Izuku pointed out, though he himself wasn't any better as he was also keeping them both close to him.
"We'll make something up." Momo reasoned.
"Could just always tell them about it." Yui pointed out, "The only reason why we didn't tell our friends was because some of them would get nosy about it. Both of them won't even care."
Momo opened her mouth at that before closing it, not really having any argument against it.
"Tell us about what?" A voice asked, making them look up and see the two heroes in question.
Miruko looked rather casual, wearing a loose white shirt that droops around her shoulder and wearing some black pants. But despite the casual attire, she somehow managed to pull it off and look adorably sexy while at it.
Ryukyu, on the other hand, was wearing a simple blue blouse along with dark blue pants. She managed to pull it off rather well as it managed to cover her curves and even complimented them.
Both heroines raised an eyebrow at three students' current state, silently asking how close they were.
"All three of us are dating each other." Yui bluntly answered, making Momo facepalm while Izuku sighed.
The two heroines looked towards each other before looking back at them.
"Huh," Was all they said before they sat right beside Yui and Momo. Completely accept that fact and move on.
"What are you watching now?" Ryukyu asked curiously.
Momo, thankful for the change of topic, answered a bit passionately. "I managed to find an old series that I really liked called Getter Robo Armageddon! Do you mind if we watch it?"
"That mecha series? Sure! Might as well give it a try." Ryukyu shrugged.
"Would be fun to see." Yui nodded.
"You did bother me to watch it once if I remembered correctly." Izuku wondered.
Miruko on the other hand raised an eyebrow at that, "Mechas? Never really interested in them."
"Trust me Miruko-san, by the end of this, I'll make all four of you believe in the Getter," Momo swore as she looked strangely determined in this.
Izuku couldn't help but find it cute.
"Yeah we'll see about that," Miruko smirked, unconvinced about it right as the opening song started.
By the end of it all, the four had started believing in the Getter as well.
[-]
Yes, the series was that good, go watch it. That would also be some foreshadowing of what might happen in the future. It won't be necessary though but it would help on some things. The series is basically a grimmer version of Gurren Lagann which funnily enough was inspired by it heavily. One of the writers for Gurren Lagann was an intern under the late creator of Getter Robo and pretty much read the manga like a bible XD
There's a reason Believing In Getter is a genuine and unironic phrase for the series.
Also, I did not expect to write some fluff for this chapter but here we are XD
One of the things that I find a bit odd most of the time is how wherever Miruko offered an internship to Izuku, they either made her do some crazy-ass training or make it seem like she knows what she's doing. This is the first time she ever offered an internship, I'd say she would be heading in blind and would need some help on how to do things.
And as said before, Edgeshot and Best Jeanist do have great control but they don't really have the context on how to control a massive level of strength, something that Miruko would know of and have experience with.
Anyways, comment and review. Criticism is appreciated! These things help drive me to write each week!
See ya!
