Steve: "Where are you taking me !"

Bucky: "To the party room."

Steve: "Why ?"

Sam: "Because the ladies reserved the common room for a girl's night."

Tony: *at the same time* "Because that's where your bachelor party is."

Steve: "Oh hell no ! I don't want a bachelor party."

Bucky: "Told you guys."

Tony: "Nonsense, everyone wants a bachelor party."

Sam: "Why not Cap ?"

Steve: "First of all, because I don't like your parties, Stark. Second of all because I don't need a bachelor party. Third of all, because I know what you want to do at that bachelor party, and I won't do that to Natasha..."

Tony: "Ok that's enough, we get your point."

Bucky: "But you know what pal, this is not just any bachelor party, come on I've known you forever, do you really think I would have planned something you wouldn't like ?"

Steve: "You planned this ? Bucky ! I told you I didn't want a bachelor party."

Sam: Trust me, you'll like this."

Steve, not really convinced, feeling also a bit obligated, walked into the party room, right behind his friends. And, even if he didn't know what exactly he was expecting, that was definitely not it. The party room, usually completely empty and silent or filled up with Tony's guests and really loud modern music, was now nicely decorated with a few blue, red, and white balloons, and soft music from the forties was playing. Only his closest friends, Thor, Rhodes, T'Challa, Quill, Scott, Groot, Rocket, Drax, Vision, Dr Strange, Pietro, and Fury were there. Apart from Bucky, Tony and Sam that came with him.

They just spend the evening hanging out in there, talking and enjoying the food and drinks. They also played a few games, although "who will rule Asgard" was not fun anymore for Thor. It was mainly drinking games (that Steve was playing for the first time, and probably the last time as well), like beer pong or flip cups. In the latter, the duo Bucky and Steve beat up everyone except for the duo Tony and Thor.

Until a really special song came up. At that moment, Steve stormed out of the room shouting.

Steve: "Pause that song ! I'll be right back."

Tony: "Where the hell are you going ?!"

Bucky: "He's gonna go get Natasha."

Tony: "Hell no !"

Bucky: "Tony let him do it or this might end badly, it's just one song."

Sam: "How the hell do you know that ?!"

Bucky: "Every single time this specific song would pop up on the radio when we were younger, Steve told me that one day he'll be dancing it with the love of his life. That's how I know it."

Sam: "Ok, that's cute as fuck !"

On his side, Steve arrived at his destination. He opened the door only to be yelled at by an obviously drunk Carol the second he popped his head in.

Carol: "Get out of here, it's girls night !"

Steve: "Can I just-"

Carol: "No ! Get out !"

Steve: "But I-"

Nat: *yelling from the other side of the room* "Who's there ?"

Carol: "Your fiancé"

Nat: *jogging up to them* "Give us a second."

This request was followed by the girls loud complaints and groans of exasperation. But Natasha couldn't care less. She knew he wouldn't be there interrupting a girl's night if it wasn't at least a bit important.

Nat: "Steve, what are you doing here ? Is there something wrong ?"

Steve: "No ! The boys are playing our song, I wanted to ask you to dance it with me."

This time, the statement was followed by the girls giggles, and "aws".

Nat: "Girls, I'll be right back !"

Wanda: "Hell, no ! We are coming. I need to see this dance and listen to this so important song that you would abandon us for."

Nat: "Suit yourselves !"

Yelena: "Am I the only one that thinks this is disgusting ?"

The response was unanimous from the other girls, and it was a positive response, Yelena was indeed the only one that didn't find it adorable.

Pretty soon, the girls and Steve walked into the party room. Earning sounds of protest from the boys.

Tony: "What the hell Barnes ! You said he was gonna get Natasha, not all of the other girls !"

Bucky: "I didn't know."

Sam: "I ain't complaining though"

Tony: "What the hell are you doing all here ?"

Wanda: "Oh, so you think Steve can come and take Nat for a dance, which I have been dying to see since Natasha mentioned it and let you enjoy it, while I wait for her to get back ? Uh-huh ! I am watching this dance."

Tony made a dismissive gesture with his hand and sat back down. The girls then settled in the room, ready for the dance to begin. Before that, Bucky got closer to Wanda.

Bucky: "So, you're just here to watch ? 'cause it would be my pleasure if you danced with me." *Stretches his hand out*

Wanda: "Smooth James, very smooth..."

Bucky: "Is that a yes ?"

She didn't respond verbally to this, she just took his hand and walked with him towards the dance floor where Steve and Natasha were waiting for the music to start. Hope and Scott shared a knowing glance before getting up and onto the dance floor. Sam, asked Maria for a dance, and Tony, rolled his eyes in annoyance before taking Pepper's hands and pulling her up to her feet before leading her to the dance floor.

Thor started the music again, and all the couples began to dance. Later on, himself and Valkyrie joined in.

Even though all of this was happening around them, Steve and Natasha didn't even notice. They were too absorbed by the music and the feeling of each other's bodies. Steve had gotten pretty good at dancing since he started dating Natasha, at this point, you could mistake the both of them for professional dancers. At the end of the song, Steve spun Nat around, before yanking her back into his arms and dipping her just like he did every time. He then pressed a soft, tender, long and romantic kiss on her lips, before pulling her up again, and holding her tight to his chest.

A.N. : Just a little information before the next chapter, I had to change chapter 21 because I didn't have a ring barrier for the wedding, so now in chapter 21 Charlie asks to be the ring barrier.
