He is yeah, he thought of those that can fly or float similar to him and got their advice. Tsuyu and Yuki surely are yeah. Shoto is doing her best to understand the new feelings within her. Tomura is going to be going through quite a lot emotionally now.
Silver crow; Thanks. He has, and as he grows to learn it more, he'll use it easier and easier, like how others with Quirks learn to use their powers. They'll learn about it when the time is right. Tomura does, we'll see where that goes. Yuki did yeah, he trusts Katsuki enough with the secret. Ochaco can float in the air, something Yuki wished to see like with Nejire, it was more about balance, than actual flight with Ochaco, he went to Nejire for more about flying. That's from Yuki's perspective, that's how he saw Ochaco's movements. Tsuyu did yeah. Shoto is going to do her best. Yeah, he offered the best advice he could do to Momo, and we'll see how that goes. I'm sure Tomura would be pissed off if he learns about AFO's lies. Tomura shall be making some cameos through the arc. Maybe they'll be seen yeah. Himiko will do her best. Thanks for the harem suggestions. He'll use the Quirk without making it so obvious as to not invite so many questions. Shinso and Yuki will have some interactions, and we'll see how their fight goes when we get there.

TheGreatGodzilla; I don't know, maybe we'll find out. Yeah, AFO is twisting it so he's placing the blame onto All Might. We'll see how it goes with Tomura now, and what he's going to do. They probably would be, though they wouldn't be able to do much about it. Himiko's parents do, they just don't want anything to do with her right now. I haven't decided if they would come together or not, if I did I'd have to think of some ways. Thanks for the harem suggestions. I haven't decided about anything to do with Kurogiri yet, lets see what happens with canon before doing anything. We'll see how it goes with Shoto, Tsuyu and Momo.

Well, with those reviews out of the way, it's time to begin the chapter!
Obstacle Race!
Tomura, for sometime, processed what he had heard from All For One. The little brother that he thought that was gone, was now back, and many emotions ran through him. His past still eluded him.
Memories of his brother came through more clearly.
The smiling, cheery face of his little brother.
But more than that, something else as well.
Thoughts of Yuki in his mind, wondering what was going on in his life.
Though things still remained muddled, he did clearly remember the love his little brother had for him, and vice versa.
How they were together, and how they supported the other.
Then he recalled the fact that he also tried to Decay his little brother, that made him feel sick to his stomach.
"If he's out there...then I need to see him...I need to understand...he called my name...he recognized me...did All Might really brainwash my little brother…? My little brother, all alone out there...I didn't recognize him...but now that I do...they called you Yuki...I remember...you always loved the snow..."
Tomura had a fond memory of himself, and his little brother playing in the snow.
Even though most would think it was simply insignificant, it was something to Tomura.
As Tomura thought about it, he saw Kurogiri enter the room.
He didn't say anything else, and looked at the time.
Seeing how early it was, Tomura knew that nothing could be achieved right now.
Rather, he didn't have anything to do just yet.
However, he did have one question.
"Kurogiri, did I remember right that there's some stuff going on with U.A on television?"
"Yes, the Sports Festival, may I ask why Tomura Shigaraki?"
"It's nothing to worry about. I've just got something's to watch, that's all."
Tomura turned his head, as his eyes went towards the TV.
A small smirk appeared on his lips, before he made his way towards it...
The day for the Sports Festival had finally arrived.
Laying on his bed, with Katsuki beside him, the young man was determined for this day.
Though thoughts of what happened at the USJ ran through his mind, and was causing his heart turmoil, he knew that right now, he had to push those thoughts to the side, and had to focus on what was before him.
So as he did, he suddenly felt a tugging at his lips.
He looked to see that Katsuki began kissing his lips, softly at first.
But then put more and more passion into the kiss, so he did the same thing and kissed her back with just as much passion.
"Kacchan, you're excited today~"
He said between kisses, with Katsuki pulling her lips back briefly.
"Because we finally get to test our strengths today, that's why. I also want to see what else you can do, because I've got a new move for you as well. Even if you have like a million Quirks, I shall show you my power of one Quirk!"
Yuki loved that even after all this had been revealed, she was still the same as ever.
She wished to become strong, the strongest, and the Number One.
He gave the same determined look and lightly kissed her cheek.
"Because you said that, it means that I can't back down either. I'll give it my all today!"
Katsuki smirked.
"Yeah, you better. I wont be satisfied if you don't. With All Might's Quirk, I want to see what kind of power you've got!"
"You will Kacchan, you definitely will~"
Katsuki and Yuki smile at the other, before leaning into and locking lips once more, showing their feelings and dedication to one another, as their bodies pulled closer. His unclothed chest felt one of her hands running up and down, the other hand resting firmly on his lower back, as his own hand rested on her hip.
As they kissed one another, the door suddenly opened with All Might appearing, yelling "Today's the day Young Yukiiiii...eeeh..." only to stop when he saw Katsuki and Yuki staring at him, pulling their lips away from one another's.
Katsuki gives an annoyed look, while Yuki laughs awkwardly.
"Heeeey, All Might...morning..."
All Might slaps a hand over his mouth, and adopts the same awkwardness that Yuki felt right now.
"G-Good morning! Sorry, I've interrupted your time together! Please continue!"
Yuki went red in the face, Katsuki sighed and fell back onto the bed as All Might laughed with the same awkwardness that he had beforehand.
He then quickly left, leaving behind a semi flustered Yuki, and a disappointed Katsuki.
"Great, thanks All Might, you ruined the mood."
Yuki's eyes glanced at Katsuki, seeing that she was sighing.
He also sighed, as he was enjoying his time together with Katsuki.
But now with the Sports Festival only a small time away, Yuki was very excited to keep going.
A small time later on, they both went to the schools sports festival, and went to the changing rooms. Having to chance into the gym uniforms, Yuki began stretching, going left, to right, and even bending over to stretch his back and legs as well.
As he did, Katsuki's eyes drifted towards his butt, only to stop when Himiko gave a knowing smile on her face.
Katsuki frowned, while Himiko giggled.
Ochaco in the meantime thrusted her hand to the sky.
"Alright, today's the day! Yuki-kun, are you excited as well?"
"Sure am, I can't wait for this to begin!"
Ochaco went over towards him, and held out her hand.
So he did the same thing and did a high five.
"Alright, lets do our best! We've got this Yuki-kun!"
"Haha, you're super excited Uraraka-san."
"Yeah, definitely! I'm so excited for this, and I can't wait for us to begin! Though, I do feel a bit nervous and I am a bit worried, I know that this is something that I can do, because everyone else is also doing it as well."
"Exactly, try as hard as possible, that's the best thing you can do."
Yuki nods her head, as Katsuki looks towards Himiko.
The young girl herself was wearing the school gym uniform as well.
But, no weapon in sight.
"Hey Vampire, how are you going to do this today? You can't go around swinging a knife, can you?"
Himiko paused, then turned to Katsuki.
"Why? Worried about me?"
Katsuki became slightly flustered at the tease Himiko gave.
"N-No! Not at all!"
"No need to become so hyper all of a sudden, it's alright if you did worry about me. It is one of the cutest qualities that you have." She said with a grin, which only served to antagonize Katsuki even more, so Himiko waved her hand. "I've already submitted my requests for my equipment to be used, and it was accepted. I think it is alright for someone like me to go through the Sports Festival with my outfit~"
Himiko said with a serene smile.
Katsuki still wondered what was going on.
But then Shoto who had keenly been observing Yuki this entire time, walked over towards him. Her eyes displayed nothing but a sense of challenge, something that Yuki caught.
"Yuki-san, I have come here, to issue you a personal challenge."
The class pauses, Yuki himself watches curiously.
"What challenge?"
"I want to face you during this Sports Festival. I've determined that you'll be my competition, the most troublesome one, after hearing and witnessing what happened during the USJ incident. Also, because I know for certain that All Might has eyes on you-"
"He doesn't have eyes for him!"
Himiko yells, giving even Shoto a slight jump.
"What?"
Himiko folded her arms, and gave a sharp stare.
"All Might isn't into Yuki-kun, like there's no way. Yuki-kun isn't into All Might either in that way. I heard that All Might had a secret love at some point, don't know how true that is, but if it was, then it would be sweet. I vote for maybe...hmm, I'll give it a think and get back to you Todoroki-chan~ But it isn't Yuki-kun!"
Yuki looked white faced as Himiko began listing off potential lovers of All Might's, Ochaco giggled "That's so Himiko-chan~" while Katsuki rolled her eyes at the sight before her.
The others in the class also looked rather stunned to see Himiko's enthusiastic ways about All Might's secret love.
Shoto blinks several times, before giving a single shake of her head.
"I said has eyes on Yuki-san, not eyes for Yuki-san. I wasn't insinuating they were in love, I meant All Might was watching Yuki-sans development." Himiko sticks out her tongue and gives a playful laugh. "Anyway, Yuki-san. I have decided that you're going to be my rival for this, and I shall be trying to beat you."
"Geez, you're so serious. It's only the Sports Festival, you don't have to be that serious."
Kirishima murmurs, Yuki smiles with a shrug, seeing that it meant a lot to Shoto, so he wished to give her the same seriousness right back.
"If you're serious, then I don't have a complaint with it, I shall come at you with the same seriousness that you're coming for me with. Though, I also hope you enjoy the day, I've been told the Sports Festival is something that should be used to have fun and to gain notoriety from the Hero's that shall be watching."
"Yes, that's correct. And I'm glad that you said that, because it means you take this seriously. I shall understand more about you, Yuki-san."
Yuki watched on as Shoto turned, and walked away.
Katsuki scoffed, pulling forward.
"Guess it seems that she's serious. That's fine, I'll show her the true rival isn't Yuki, but me. Watch it Icy Hot, you'll soon see!"
Yuki gave bemused eyes, as Katsuki walked out as well.
Tenya, taking in a deep breath, shot to Yuki's right hand side.
"Class President, this is a serious situation! What shall we do?!"
"It's serious? It's only competition, as long as no one gets hurt, it's all good, right?"
Momo nods, pulling closer.
"I think he's right Iida-san. We shall all go together, and showcase our best strengths. But also let us have fun, this is a day that we should be..." As she spoke, Momo thought about her parents, and some expectations placed upon her as well, and gave a slight hesitation to her voice. "...anyway, it starts soon, so we should get ready."
Yuki looks on, and begins asking "Momo-san, you okay?" Momo turns, giving a small smile and nod, before sitting down.
Yuki didn't think that she was okay as something had made her pause, something was amiss, but he didn't know what that was right now.
However, as he went to go and ask, Ochaco pulls closer, and takes Yuki's hands in her own.
As he did, he felt a slight redness beginning to show itself on his face.
"That was weird from Todoroki-san huh?"
"I'll say yeah. But, competition can be good." Yuki looks at the time, seeing how it was almost time. "Come on everyone, lets go and show everyone how Class 1A really do it, okay? Lets go and kick some butt!"
[Yeah!]
Inspired by Yuki's words, the others became pumped, and showcased wide grins on their faces.
Going out to the Sports Festival grounds, the large stadium around, filled to the brim with different professional Hero's. Yuki could see many people having turned out for this, he could even see All Might sat over in the stands.
In his smaller for, which Yuki thought made sense because of the situation they were in and would have to conserve power. His eyes displayed excitement, and he gave a smile towards All Might, which everyone else would assume is to the crowd.
Getting to a stage like area, he stood between Ochaco and Himiko. Katsuki was behind him.
The other members of the class spread around, with Yuki also noticing that Shinso had appeared, and was keeping his distance. Yuki also noticed that Neito was stood to the right hand side, sticking out his tongue at Yuki.
"Geez, that guys really intense and a bit weird huh. He takes this way too seriously."
Yuki thought.
Katsuki glanced at Neito, and scowled, and gave the 'Come and get me.' hand signs, with Neito cringing, shaking his head, and turned away.
Katsuki smirked in victory, while Yuki held in a small laugh, as did Itsuka who was stood close to Neito.
Then, in the middle of that, Midnight stepped forward, with a what appeared to be a whip in her hand, and she cracked it on the floor, causing some of the students to back away from her.
"Now, we'll get on with the introductory speech!"
Midnight giggled, and waved a hand through her hair, and the men all looked star struck by such a beauty.
Even Yuki paused when seeing her, and thought Midnight was rather beautiful.
"The R Rated Hero Midnight...no wonder with an outfit like that huh. Maybe someone should tell her not to wear something like that to school, hey Yuki?"
Kirishima murmured to Yuki who laughed lightly.
"Maybe you're right, though it seems that no one's stopping her."
Midnight smacked her lips together, and turned her eyes onto the crowd of students.
"Silence everyone! Now, for the student pledge, we've got U.A's own, Yuki-kun! Come up here Yuki-kun! Since you came first in the Entrance Exam, give everyone a rousing speech to get everyone pumped up for today!"
Yuki looked at Midnight, and then the others.
He saw everyone's eyes were on him.
"Eh...what?"
Yuki wasn't used to being the centre of attention.
So seeing everyone looking at him did surprise him a good deal.
Midnight though with a wave of her hand, gave a small wicked smile.
"Come on sweetheart, don't worry, I'll support you~"
Himiko and some of the girls scowled when Midnight said that, even giving off a suggestive look with her eyes batting together slow, long and cute at the same time as being seductive.
Yuki looked on, before being urged by Midnight, so he walked onto the stage.
He looked out onto the crowd, seeing All Might giving a thumbs up.
He even saw Nejire in the crowd, though it wasn't hard to spot her as she kept yelling "YUKI-KUN! YOU'VE GOT THIS!" at the top of her lungs, which in an odd way, he actually quite liked, and gave a simple smile before nodding.
"Aah...right yes. Thank you everyone for coming, I wish to say that I hope everyone does their best, and has a lot of fun! But since this is a competition and the aim is to win, I'll also have to do my best to destroy the competition, so be prepared everyone! Lets go Beyond Plus Ultra! Thank you Midnight-sensei!"
Yuki did a peace sign, and exited the stage.
All Might thought that it was rather good to inspire others to do their best, while also Yuki was intending to do his best as well, and expressed as much to everyone.
Katsuki nods and murmurs "Seems like a bit of me has rubbed off on him, lets destroy the opposition Yuki." while Shoto thought that Yuki was being quite a bit nicer than how Katsuki would have probably said it and antagonized everyone, at least with Yuki's it seemed that he wished to rally everyone up so they would do their best without insulting them.
"Ooh my Yuki-kun, I'm feeling rather hot right now~"
Himiko giggled, as she looked out onto the crowd. Half of her mind wondered if her parents were going to show up.
But, she doubted that to be the case, since she hadn't heard from them since she had left her home for good. They only knew she went to U.A, but hadn't even tried to contact her at all.
Though she didn't mind, she wouldn't allow such things to ruin her day, because she had friends, people she cherished that really liked her back, and cherished her as well.
"Yes, a good speech Yuki-kun! You're so cute and precious~" Midnight licked her lips with a playful attitude, then faced the crowd with vigour. "Now, with that out of the way, let us discover what challenge our contenders shall be facing in the first round!"
Midnight brought up a board with different challenges on them, and they spun around very fast.
Yuki didn't mind which they did, he just wanted to experience what it was like to be a normal teenager, since he hadn't had much chances before this.
It was a welcome situation from the USJ, after everything that happened there, and how he had to feel about that. With Tomura, and everything, it was quite a lot to deal with, though a part of him wondered, if Tomura was watching right now. If he cared, or even remembered him to the point that he'd want to watch him participate within the Sports Festival at all.
Soon, the board began slowing down, more and more for a good few seconds, then abruptly stopped a few seconds later, to reveal…
"The Obstacle Race! That is what is going to be the first round! As long as it stays within the grounds of the race, anything is permitted! Quirk's and anything that has already been approved for this day! Everyone, please find your gate, it shall be beginning shortly!"
"Obstacle Race...huh."
Yuki murmured, excitement growing on his face as the classes went toward the gates that were around the building. They were rather large, his eyes shifted to All Might, who mouthed "Good luck Young Yuki." which made Yuki adopt a small smile on his face, and give a small notable nod towards All Might.
Upon making it to the gate, Yuki saw the others in his class being pumped up. Katsuki especially seemed to be ready. His eyes darted to Shoto, seeing the young woman giving him a stare. It wasn't quite a glare, nor was it even a negative stare. It was something that was meant to show that she was serious, so he gave one right back towards her.
He even saw that Mei was stood close to him.
"Yuki-kun, don't forget to show off, because you're my assistant, people will see that if you are able to win, then my gadgets would be something worth buying."
Yuki thought "She's looking for sponsors for her gadgets huh, hope she finds them." while his eyes stayed on the young woman with gleam in her eyes.
"Sure Mei-san, I'll do my best to show off and win."
"Good, good. Also, when the times right, name drop me and our relationship as inventor and assistant, okay?"
"Haha, got it."
Mei nods strongly, and prepares herself.
Yuki went to turn his head, when he heard a new voice come up.
"Yuki-kun..." Ochaco began, moving closer, adopting a small smile on her face. "I just wanted to say, good luck and do your best, okay?"
"Yeah, you too Uraraka-san. I know that you can do this."
Ochaco gave a fist bump to Yuki, Himiko rushed closer, and showed a small smile on her lips.
"Wow, look at everyone. Even that weird guy Monoma, should we go and make him stop being weird?"
Yuki tilted his head, while Ochaco giggled softly.
He then notices Tsuyu who gives a thumbs up, so Yuki does the same thing, which makes Tsuyu adopt a small smile.
However, just then, the gates finally open.
Before them, was a tunnel, it was rather cramped, and it seemed that everyone would be pushing through to try and get ahead, Yuki didn't want to waste time with that, so he placed his hand on the ground.
"Hah!"
Using his Quirk, he reconfigured the ground, and caused it to rise up.
Ebbing and flowing almost like water with the way the ground moved, Yuki caused a good deal of students to be brought out of the way safely, and gave him a clear path.
Yuki then pushed One For All through his legs, shooting forward like a bullet.
"No."
As he did, he saw that from behind, an eerie icy mist filled the area, accompanied with a wave of ice. Yuki looked to see Shoto's ice freezing a good number of students to the ground, and was enclosing around Yuki.
"Todoroki-sans power is pretty cool. I've always loved ice and snow. But I can't give up here."
He placed his hands on the ground, and as the ice froze over it, he turned it around and caused the icy ground to shoot right for Shoto instead, who grit her teeth, and caused a wall of ice to appear, blocking the attack.
As she did, she looked around to see Yuki having already boosted off. Causing the earth to become as slide friendly as possible, he clicked his fingers which acted as propulsion across the ground, moving faster and faster to reach his destination.
"I'll get you damn it!"
Neito yelled out, looking towards Yuki.
"Good luck with that Monoma-san."
But Yuki smiled, and kept going.
Getting out of the tunnel like area they were in, the open air brushed through his hair.
He saw from behind that Shoto had used more ice to create a frozen tundra,
[My! What a way to open up! Such strong moves from competitors from Class 1A!]
Present Mic yelled out his enthusiasm.
[I know, Yuki-kun's being so cool right now~]
Present Mic jumped, and saw sat to the right hand side of him was Nejire herself.
[E-Eh? When did you get here?]
Nejire grinned, puffing out her chest in excitement.
[I thought that it would be good to come and cheer on my Yuki-kun. It seems he's going strong right now~]
Nejire didn't answer Present Mic's doubts, and watched keenly.
Shoto came shooting out of the now frozen corridor, and got towards the other side. Yuki was ahead, running across the ground at fast speeds, so she used the ice she can create, causing it to become like an ice slide, and used it to slide across the ground.
"Don't think you can get ahead of me Yuki!"
"M-Me too, I'm coming as well!"
"My, oh my! Look at my beautiful belly beam!"
Katsuki, using her explosions, Momo creating a large metal rod, and Aoyama using his Navel Laser to avoid the freezing.
"Hehe, everyone's so fired up~"
Himiko came running out of the corridor, seemingly having evaded the ice, while Ochaco floated out of the corridor as well. She then placed her hands together, causing her to drop down to the ground with a small smile on her face.
"I wont give up!"
Yuki looked back, seeing his classmates and friends being able to get through Shoto's ice.
He thought "They've really improved." as he continued on, but not before seeing Shinso seemingly using other students to carry him across the ice, which drew a question mark for him, making him wonder what his Quirk really was.
Shoto also looked behind her, and became astonished by the amount of people seemingly able to dodge or free themselves out of the ice.
"I'm surprised, more people than I thought managed to avoid the freeze. Even from other classes." Her eyes went towards the just in front Yuki, her eyes became even more filled with the desire of challenge. "Of course, you managed to avoid it as well Yuki-san, I shouldn't of expected anything different from you."
Shoto ran as fast as she could to try and catch him, while the others began trailing along. Mina used her acid to skate across the ice, melting it and causing it to become smooth. Jiro was having a bit of trouble, but for Mei…
"Watch me, and my jet! Yuki-kuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!"
Mei gave a loud yell, and propelled herself through the air. Yuki looked to see that Mei was beaming ear to ear, and because she was happy, he also was rather happy at the sight.
Mineta however was a surprise, as he threw his balls onto the ground, and because they stuck to anything, yet he didn't get stuck to them, and with his small stature, he was able to jump onto them like stepping stones.
"Hahahaha! I'm going to beat you two in this! I wont let you win!"
Mineta tried using his Quirk to throw a number of balls towards Yuki, only for the young man himself to flick his fingers outwards, generating enough wind pressure to send the balls flying right back towards Mineta, who while not getting stuck to them, did cause him to fall down onto the ground.
As he did, Shoto casually froze him while running by him, his feet sticking to the ground.
Mineta let out a cry as Itsuka passed by him.
"Come on, lets keep going."
Itsuka became determined, and ran as fast as she could do.
However, as Yuki was pulling ahead, he stopped when he saw a giant robot appear before him. More than one, it was several behind the first one, Yuki remembering what these were as well.
The Zero pointers from the Entrance Exam.
"Alright then, be destroyed."
Shoto watched as Yuki placed his hand on the ground. The earth shifted and became uprooted. Forming more and more around him, Yuki then pulled back ever so slightly, so he wasn't at the end of the pillar forming.
It came shooting out of the ground like a missile, the speed was something that surprised Shoto, and watched as the pillar shattered through the metal robot, going through the chest, allowing Yuki to ride on top of it as a result.
Yuki managed to smash through the robot, and because it fell backwards, it created a domino chain effect. The other robots also began falling backwards, and smashed into three of them, smashing deep into the earth as Yuki flipped forward, landing on the other side.
Shoto was amazed, while Himiko slid before her, and ran up the same pillar Yuki had created.
"Thanks Yuki-kun!"
Himiko ran like a cat, and moved rapidly, jumping off of the pillar before the robot fully came down, shattering the pillar so it couldn't be used anymore by anyone.
Himiko landed on one of the broken robots. She then ran across the metal, and jumped from broken robot to robot, landing on the ground on the other side, saluting the baffled Shoto before running after the already running Yuki.
[Ooh yeah! Look at how they're doing it! Go Yuki-kun! It seems even Himiko-chan has taken advantage of what Yuki-kun did, that's a good way to move Himiko-chan!]
"Aah, thanks Nejire-chan, love you~"
[Love you too!]
Nejire yelled back through the speakers, Shoto still was perplexed by what the situation was like right now.
"It seems that my thoughts weren't unwarranted. He is my biggest obstacle. He didn't even stop when the Villain appeared before his very eyes, these robots are no different. He kept pushing through, destroying, and succeeding in him making it across to the other side without losing time in either. It seems that I'll have to push my body harder, and harder. I wont lose here."
Shoto placed her hand on the ground and icicles shot up from the ground.
Forming a ring of ice around her, one of the robots went for a straight punch for her body, but she used a sweeping motion with her hand, and caused a giant wave of ice to wrap around the robots body, freezing it in place, along with several others that were caught up in her ice.
Shoto then continued running, seeing that others were catching up behind her.
As she finished running under it, she looked back and said "I merely froze it off balance, it is going to fall." as what she said would happen, did, and it fell down towards the ground, creating a shockwave which ran through the area, but Yuki wasn't concerned, and continued onwards, with Shoto right on his heels. Himiko even was ahead of Shoto right now, and was right behind Yuki, using this to take advantage of the situation and make sure that she got to the right position.
Back with the others, Momo watched on as Yuki and Shoto were neck and neck.
The freezing that Shoto gave one of the enemies, began to undo, and fell down to the ground, sending Kirishima and a boy known as Tetsutetsu, while Momo kept moving forward, throwing off her shoes to create skates below her feet, giving her an added method of being able to shoot across the ground. Seeing how smooth it was, it felt like she was gliding through the air.
[My, what a display of Quirks! The fact that these are all the Zero Pointers as well. It is going to be a challenge. But, with Yuki staying in the lead with Toga, and Todoroki right on his trail, who's going to be able to catch up to them huh!?]
Present Mic went wild, while Kirishima burst out of the robots body with his Quirk, Hardening activated.
"Damn it Todoroki! You didn't have to do that!"
He yelled out, looking around the area, and saw Yuki, Himiko and Shoto in the distance running hard and fast. While Himiko didn't have the natural boost to her physicality like Yuki, or Shoto's propulsion with her ice, her lightning fast speeds were more than enough to give her the edge.
But then, Tetsutetsu came bursting out of the robots body with his steel body. His eyes raged for Shoto for what happened with the ice freezing and then unfreezing the robots in places, blazing fury within him.
[Ooh my, it seems those boys have similar Quirk's huh. Because it changes their body into hard substances, I wonder which one is the stronger one? Maybe we'll find out during the round huh everyone~?]
Nejire sang out, enjoying the situation that was before her eyes.
Katsuki on the other hand saw how Yuki, Himiko and Shoto were ahead of her, she wouldn't have any of it.
"Damn it, even Vampire is ahead of me. I wont lose here!"
Using her explosions out of her hand, she began rocketing herself upwards, looking towards the place that Yuki and Shoto were, and weren't going to back down either.
A giant fist came for her body, so she sent an explosion downwards, propelling her upwards, over the fist.
She then used her explosions to fly up the arm of the robot, and over it, all the while thinking "I'm definitely not losing to Todoroki, a Vampire, and especially you Yuki, you better watch out as well!" and got over the Villain robot, and fired herself off towards the trio that had taken the lead.
Sero, and Tokoyami however, weren't far behind either. Sero used his tape to attach to the robots, and swing his way upwards, while Tokoyami used his Dark Shadow to grapple onto the robots, and pull himself along with the shadow creature itself.
"Have this!"
Behind them, Iida used his speed to run as fast as he could, and jumped, kicking one of the One Pointers from the Entrance Exam downwards.
"Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
Momo became stunned when she heard a noise beside her. She looked to see that Itsuka was stood there, her hands larger and used her enlarged hands, crushing the metal between her fingers, cracking the metal enough that it shattered.
Momo could see that such a simple Quirk, was a rather effect when she used it the way that she did, so Momo pulled her shirt to the right hand side, and from that, a cannon was made out of her Quirk, shooting a ball out which blasted through a Zero Pointer, something that even Itsuka was surprised and happy to see.
"You're amazing, so strong."
"T-Thanks."
Momo smiled at the praise, but Itsuka then showed determination.
"It doesn't mean that I shall be beaten by the likes of you either."
"H-Huh?"
Itsuka showed a cute smile on her face.
"I've seen how strong you are, and you're a Recommendation Student. Even if you are, I shall not back down either."
Momo was surprised at first.
She thought that maybe Itsuka was being negative.
But the smile on her face was nothing but positive.
It was a healthy competition, so Momo nodded, and took it head on.
"Right, then lets do it."
Itsuka nods, as Neito comes running by, yelling "DON'T FRATERNIZE WITH THE ENEMY!" which made Itsuka sigh.
"Sorry about him."
"No, no, I'm sorry about Mineta-san."
"Ehehe...yeah, he's something else huh."
Momo slowly nods, as Nejire giggles.
[Ooh, rivalry it seems~ Hehe, I'm happy that these girls are embracing competition!]
Both Momo and Itsuka gave awkward looks, as they kept going forward.
Or they would have, if Momo wasn't surprised when someone came to her right hand side.
Jiro goes around her, with her earlobes stabbing into a robots body, at the same time Kaminari jumps onto a robot.
"Sound will explode you!"
"Ooh yeah, this is how it is done!"
Jiro sends her heartbeat through them, and then broke them down with sound, all the while Kaminari jumped onto one of them, and gave an electric shot to one of them, breaking it down as well.
"Haaaaaah!"
"R-Release!"
Ojiro, using his Quirk, managed to destroy one of the One Pointers by spinning around fast, and breaking it down, Ochaco using her Quirk to levitate them and then bring them right back down, destroying their bodies.
[My! What interesting Quirk's these people have! Because of their fights with the Villain's, they've learned not to hold back either. I am very impressed with all of their techniques!]
Nejire happily said, watching from where she was, and clapped her hands.
As that went on, Yuki, Himiko and Shoto got to a slope in the ground. Yuki himself looked forward, seeing the next obstacle, and how it could be done.
[Heh! For those who thought the first Obstacle was tough, just wait for the second one!]
Present Mic spoke up, as the trio began seeing what the second one really was.
What they saw was a canyon of stone pillars, and large gaps between them as well.
Wires attached to the pillars, and started at the beginning.
"Hmm, Float would be really good here. But I can't exactly reveal that on live television either. But, I could maybe spin it so it looks like I'm jumping across the pillars. Yeah, that would be the best way for me to get across these so quickly..."
As he was thinking, Shoto called out.
"Don't forget that I am here Yuki-san. I am going to surpass you."
Yuki looked back, seeing Himiko casually waving towards him.
He waved back, as his eyes went towards Shoto.
"I welcome the challenge Todoroki-san."
Yuki got towards the edge of the canyon. He took in several deep breaths, before his feet began coming off of the ground. While it was still something he was getting used to, he felt like this would be good.
So with a click of his heels, he shot off into the air at high speeds.
He came down and landed on the ground for brief moments, before leaping forward and kept going as if he was jumping from platform to platform, however, using Float like this was something that made it easier for Yuki, he was able to go faster through the air than if he was simply jumping.
All Might couldn't even tell the difference, and if he couldn't, then All Might thought that Yuki was doing such a good job in disguising what was really happening right now.
"He's quick..."
"Ooh my, he's ahead? Alright, here I come Yuki-kun!"
Shoto paused, but Himiko didn't.
She didn't have the luxury of doing that, so she climbed up onto a wire, before using her very stable footwork to begin running across the very thin wire. It was so steady that even Shoto wore surprise on her face.
"Her Quirk, I don't even know what it is, but the fact that she's able to run across the wire like that, she must be very well trained. And Yuki-san is surprising me even more by jumping across the stone pillars. It seems that once more, these two are very surprising, Toga-san more than Yuki-san since I saw of what he could do during the USJ incident, seeing what she can do is quite surprising, but makes me all the more determined."
As Shoto thought, she jumped into the wire, and used her ice, to glide across the wires, Yuki taking a glance backwards, and smiled at her enthusiasm. He also looked at Himiko, seeing that she was very Ninja like in her movements.
"Himiko-chan, she's doing so well right now, I have no doubt she'll get a good score here. And Todoroki-san, she's someone that could be tricky if she keeps going like this."
Yuki couldn't help the smile that was on his face.
He was rather happy, and proud of those behind him. How well they were doing.
[My, these three are neck and neck for one another! Ooh! This is so exciting! Nejire-san, can you give us your thoughts on what's going on between them right now!?]
It seemed that Present Mic just accepted that Nejire was there. Aizawa was on standby, but he didn't say anything at all, and merely watched on.
[Ooh my, yes this is a good show so far! It seems that Yuki-kun's speed is making him the one that is hardest to catch, but Himiko-chan's quickness, and her balance, to run at that speed across such a thin wire, that takes talent and skills, she is showing them in spades. Finally, the half and half girl is using her ice so well! They're really great, Yuki-kun though, I didn't give you a cuddle before this game began, I hope you're okay, I know how much you love it when we cuddle.]
Yuki's face turned several shades of red.
Himiko giggled, Shoto looked baffled, Katsuki growled, Ochaco looked okay, but her lips were in a cute pout.
[Ooh, is this even love during the Sports Festival?!]
Present Mic asked, Nejire answered with a giggle.
[Well, the heart wants what the heart wants. And Yuki-kun is too adorable, I can't stand it! That cute adorable face that he has, I want to go and give him a cuddle immediately! Yuki-kun, when the match is over, come and find me! I'll give you two big extra cuddles!]
All Might could only imagine how Yuki was feeling right now.
Though All Might didn't know that Yuki was, pretty okay.
He did have some embarrassment, but otherwise he was fine.
He had gotten used to Nejire's ways by now, so it didn't really bother him.
As that was going on, the others weren't far behind.
"Ribbit, I can do it."
Tsuyu didn't pause, and she used her frog like abilities to leap up, and pull herself across one of the wires. As if she was walking, Tsuyu made it look effortlessly to those that were watching.
"So, this is how it is, okay! Lets go!"
Tenya got on top of the wires, and used his legs to shoot across said wires. His arms extended outwards, making him keep his balance as he moved in a straight line.
"Damn this, it seems everyone isn't that bad...fine, it's time to blow up the competition!"
Katsuki snarled, her eyes noticing the distance Yuki, Himiko and Shoto were at, so she strongly thrusted her hands backwards. Setting off explosion after explosion between her fingers, she gathered her explosive power to the peak that it could go, before she finally unleashed her power in such a strong way, and fired her way across towards the others.
Mei got to the edge of the canyon, looking towards Yuki who by now was on the other side, and she couldn't help, but show a large grin on her face.
"That's my assistant! That's right assistant! If you do well, my brand does well! That's why, I'll also do well!"
Mei revealed some of her jackets. From the backpack that she wore, grappling hooks came shooting out, shooting her across the stone pillars, then with her hover shoes, to glide up said stone pillars, allowing her to scale, and move across.
"Wow, she's super into it."
Mina mused, Ochaco nods.
"Yeah, she really is."
Ochaco tapped herself, before she used her Quirk to begin floating her to the other side. Noticing how Yuki had moved, she mimicked his movements, propelling herself through the air, landing on a pillar, then she pushed off, moving from one to the other, something that Yuki noticed.
When Yuki got to the other side, in front of him, he saw a minefield.
Yuki didn't waste time, and placed his hand on the ground.
Channeling his power, he caused the ground to slowly reveal the areas the bombs were placed, without detonating them.
Clearing a path, Yuki rushed forward.
His blinding speed, made Himiko and Shoto surprised to see how Yuki was going.
Using his quick footing, he moved and dodged out of the way of several bombs that had been left behind.
"Wow, Yuki-kun's blazing ahead now~"
Himiko, like an acrobat, began jumping forward, and used her quick footing, like Yuki, to avoid the bombs and move forward. Even Shoto knew she wouldn't be able to do half of the tricks that Himiko was capable of.
She didn't have much of a choice, and knew that she would have to use her powers to freeze the area.
So she placed her foot down onto the ground, and allowed her ice to come out. Freezing the outer layer of the ground, without disturbing the bombs, she ran across the ice, seeing that others were coming up towards her.
Katsuki had managed to appear, and knew that the three of them were ahead. What surprised her was Himiko, and how she was so agile and fast as to keep up with two strong Quirk users like Yuki and Shoto.
She knew she didn't have the luxury of waiting around and doing nothing, so she saw some bombs that she had.
"Heh, if I used them, then I could gain an advantage..."
Katsuki formed a plan, she wasn't stupid and knew what to do when she could gain an advantage. So she dug up a few of the bombs, then she threw them into the air.
Jumping up, she angled her body forward, as she detonated her explosive power, releasing the explosive force of the bombs, which she used to shoot her like an arrow.
Moving so fast that even Yuki, Himiko and Shoto were stunned, seeing Katsuki bypass them.
"Damn Kacchan, you're really going for broke now!"
"Wow, Kacchan, you've really gone truly fast, she's pretty cool huh."
"...I didn't expect her to do that."
Yuki expressed his joy, Himiko was extremely happy to see this happen, and finally Shoto was showcasing her slight annoyance at the fact that even people such as Katsuki were capable of doing this well.
[Ooh yeah! It's heating up now! It seems that Bakugo has come up in front of everyone!]
Katsuki smirks, as Yuki smiles, and pushed more power into his legs, before rocketing himself off. Katsuki glances to see Yuki using his speed to leap a far distance, so she turned course, and came at him.
"Don't think you can do this Yuki!"
She thrusted her hand forward to explode him, only for him to dodge mid air, and then he aimed his fingers towards her in a flicking motion. Channeling his power through said fingers, he went to flick and blast her away, when suddenly ice shot up from the ground to freeze Yuki's legs.
"Eeeh?"
Yuki turned his fingers down, and released a shockwave of wind towards the incoming ice.
Using enough strength, he caused the ice to break, as Katsuki got behind the air bound Yuki, and thrusted her hand towards his body to blast him down to the ground.
He turned mid air once more, bending forward and kicked her hands up into the air, shooting off the strong explosion that looked like a signal beam, Katsuki this time however used this chance to swing her foot up for Yuki's face, who dodges with mere inches from his face, before he pulled forward, grabbing Katsuki's hand.
"You weren't kidding when you said you weren't going to hold back Kacchan."
Katsuki smirked, pushed Yuki back with her feet, and put some distance between them.
She then went behind her back, pulling out a remaining bomb, his eyes widening as she tossed it up into the air, shooting her powerful explosion off for it, which made an even bigger explosion to the point that the shockwave even pushed Yuki through the air and towards the ground.
[Hey Bakugo-chan! Doing such a trick to my cute Yuki-kun, my adorable cuddle partner! I'm not happy!]
Nejire cutely yells at Katsuki, who used the momentum of the blast to shoot her towards the tunnel that was the entrance to the stadium once more.
"He's my boyfriend, get lost twister!"
Katsuki snaps back.
[You shouldn't bully your boyfriend then.]
"I'm not!"
[It seems to me you are. Well, it's okay, I'll comfort Yuki-kun and make sure he is fine later on~]
"Don't get involved twister!"
As they argued, Yuki looked down, seeing Himiko and Shoto gliding by, with some of the area Yuki was going to land in was filled with two bombs close by.
Grimacing, Yuki concentrated harder and harder, until he stopped mid air.
Using Float, he stopped himself, and he himself then turned around very quickly, placing his hands on the ground so it looked as if he stopped himself from activating the bombs by landing quite perfectly like that.
Exhaling, Yuki's eyes shifted towards the entrance the three headed to.
"So, that's the game they're playing. Alright, time to step it up a notch I think."
Yuki rubbed his hands together, before placing his hands on the ground. Channeling One For All through his original power, he reconfigures the ground, and moves it a huge distance. To the point even All Might was happily surprised.
"That's it Young Yuki! Go! Go!"
All Might cheered loudly within his mind, watching as Yuki creates two huge walls, one separating Himiko and Shoto from the tunnel, and the other doing the same thing for Katsuki, giving Yuki a clean shot for the entrance of the stadium once more.
[Oooooooooooh! We thought he was done, but he's come back swinging! Now it's between four strong contenders! This is so on fire right now! Who's going to make it to the end first?! Lets see everyone!]
Present Mic was going extremely wild, Aizawa sighed deeply, while Nejire cheered.
[Yes! That's how it is done Yuki-kun! You can do this, go on!]
The crowds went wild when seeing that, as Yuki stomps on the ground hard, and uses his power to rocket through the area.
Sprinting across the ground very quickly, Yuki managed to cross the distance as Shoto broke through the wall with her ice, Katsuki on the other hand used her explosive power to try and drop some of the giant wall towards Yuki.
Not batting an eyelid, Yuki twirled and swings out his arm, generating a good deal of air pressure to sweep the debris falling down, firing right back towards Katsuki.
"Haha, good Yuki, this is what I'm talking about!"
The young girl places her hands out, her sweating also made her power stronger, releasing a huge blast that shattered the stone, causing some throbbing pain to go through her arms, and the shockwave caused Shoto to pause as it swept across her.
Himiko narrowly avoids it, and leaps towards the entrance of the stadium, Yuki having gone through.
Inside of the tunnel, Yuki travelled quickly, only for Himiko to throw several ice shards towards his body to stop him, so Yuki turned, and with a swing of his leg, broke through all of the ice, but that gave Himiko the chance to get in close.
Coming from the right hand side, she tries to sweep his leg, only for Yuki to dodge, and place his hand towards her upper body.
"Yuki-kun, are you going to stop me?"
"Yeah, sorry about that."
Himiko shook her head, trying to grab his hand.
"Nope, that's fine. All's fair in love and war~"
Yuki smiled, and unleashed his wind pressure via a flick of his fingers, generating enough force that Himiko went back into a wall.
She groaned, only to see ice shooting for Yuki's form.
Yuki saw the speed it was coming, Shoto wasn't messing around this time.
He didn't have time to touch the ground, but did have time to grab the ice, so that's what he did, using his Quirk on the ice itself to reconfigure it around his body, leaving him safe within the centre of the ice itself, while it created a dome all around his body.
Yuki breathed out, reforming as it was coming at him was something he hadn't really done with such a big attack before, but he was glad to have pulled it off, so he caused the ice to break all around him via his Quirk, before leaping back, and placed his fingers out, seeing Shoto coming in.
"Have this!"
Yuki flicked his fingers out, shooting off wind pressure, enough to catch up the falling ice debris, and send them right back towards Shoto. They moved rapidly, almost like bullets, forcing Shoto to create a giant wall before her, blocking off the attacks, but caused her to stop.
"Don't think this will slow me down!"
Katsuki didn't however, using her explosive blasts to propel her through the air, dodging the attacks at the same time.
"Ooh man, that was rough, but I really like it like that Yuki-kun~"
Himiko peeled herself out of the wall, and stretched her arms above her head, before quickly dashing off. Similar to Katsuki, Himiko avoided the ice shards and other shapes, showing the nimbleness of her movements.
When Katsuki got up close, Yuki watched as she punched towards him, so he avoided and kicked her upper body backwards, as ice shot forward, running down across the ground, managing to get close to Yuki before he leapt backwards, doing a full backflip.
He then turned his power downwards, and swung his leg down, his foot smashing into the ground, and created a giant fissure in the ground, stopping the spreading of the ice, as well as causing the ground to shake to the point that they all fell down to the ground.
Yuki didn't however and kept on going, making it out of the tunnel, and headed for the exit.
As he went to go over the finishing line, Himiko leaps out of the tunnel, throwing several shards of ice that she had, causing Yuki to turn as he ran, breaking the shards, Shoto used the chance to create an ice slide forward.
Katsuki did the same thing with her explosions, shooting forward to try and make it over the finishing line.
Yuki didn't waste time, and leapt as quickly as possible.
Yuki managed to make it over the finishing line first, followed by Shoto, Katsuki and finally Himiko at the end.
Katsuki panted, Himiko fell to the ground with her chest heaving, Shoto hunched over and broke out into a sweat, Yuki himself seemed rather calm and okay, since he was used to running, moving quickly, avoiding and attacking at the same time, his time on the run being able to help him do this.
[Yahooooooooo! Good sportsmanship you all! The first place goes to Yuki-san! Followed by Todoroki-san! And then Bakugo-san! Finally, by Toga-san! All four of you did a fantastic job so far, well done to you all!]
Present Mic called out, as did Nejire.
[Yes! You did it Yuki-kun, three cuddles, soon coming up!]
Yuki looked at the scoreboard that appeared, seeing that he had indeed got first place. He was happy, and he could see All Might cheering from the side. Even louder than most people, Yuki adopted a small smile on his face, he was grateful to All Might's support.
"Second place...so, I got second place."
Shoto seemed satisfied, Katsuki huffed.
"Third place now, but this isn't over yet! Especially if Yuki got first, it's only made me more determined!"
Himiko saw Katsuki yell out, with the young girl smiling.
"I got fourth, ooh yeah! That's so awesome~"
As Yuki heard that, his eyes went over the crowds. He was looking to see if he recognized any of the Hero's, not really having a chance to do that before.
One such Hero he could see was Endeavour, the flames made him stand out.
The flaming Hero's eyes were on Yuki's form, and he seemed to be thinking about something.
Yuki also saw that Shoto was actively ignoring the look from her Father.
"So, this is Endeavour-san. I hadn't really interacted with him before, but seeing the intense eyes that he has, I can see why Todoroki-san might be trying to ignore that, and from what she implied...hmm..."
He didn't share his thoughts for the time being, and merely looked towards Endeavour for a good deal.
Katsuki noticed something was going on, so she moved closer.
"Something wrong, Yuki?"
Kenji chuckled awkwardly.
"What? No, nothing. Just looking at the Hero's present, you okay Kacchan?"
Katsuki lightly tapped his chest, and showcased a half smirk on her lips.
"Damn straight, you might have pulled ahead, but don't think you shall win! I shall become stronger, and win this damn event!"
"You're on Kacchan."
As he said it, he heard two voices.
"Are you okay Yaoyorozu-san?"
"Y-Yes...just gonna stay away from Mineta-san and I'll be all good..."
While they talked, Yuki saw Momo and Itsuka come in together, with them being quite close to each other in terms of their score. He also saw that his other classmates had passed, and even all of 1B as well, he saw Neito glaring daggers towards Yuki, who in turn gave a curious look.
As the final members came running in and out, Yuki saw Shinso appear which he was happy about, as he wished to see what was going on.
Finally, once they were done, Midnight raised her whip into the sky.
"And now, with the final members coming through the door, here are the results!"
Midnight displayed the larger version of what Yuki saw beforehand, and saw the scores. It seemed that some 1B members had come towards the end, Itsuka on the other hand didn't seem to really care about it, and got a very good score. Ochaco even managed to place seventh overall, which Yuki was quite proud of her to do.
"My, everyone's so crazy right now, but this is so much fun~"
Himiko giggled out, giving a radiant smile on her face.
Midnight whipped the ground, gaining their attention.
"Now, there will be a short twenty minute break for all contenders! Please do as you desire during these 20 minutes, relax, eat, and other things that you might need to do! After that, please gather back here for the announcement of the second round! Until then, dismissed!"
Yuki released a breath.
Now that they had twenty minutes for them to relax, before the next event was going to come up.
With him coming first, Yuki knew he had painted a target on his back.
But he was up for the challenge, no matter what was going to happen next.

So this chapter dealt with the beginning of the Sports Festival. With each member of the classes doing their best to get ahead, Yuki beginning to use Float in some ways, along with the other powers he's mastering. Itsuka and Momo seem to have a friendship beginning to form. Mei's doing her best, and is happy for her assistant to help get her brand out there. Neito is being as ever, confrontational in his own way. Katsuki's very determined to beat everyone, and Shoto's made a personal statement to Yuki, challenging him specifically.
As that was going on, Tomura's also beginning to think about what AFO said, and what he should do, deciding to watch his little brother in the Sports Festival.
