Merope watched Holly crawl around before trying to take her first tiny steps. she let out a happy squee of joy; she was so proud of granddaughter so much. her first steps, and she was here to see them!

Merope was about to get up to get a better look; seeing Holly take 5 good steps before that woman knocked her over with a broom. on purpose!

she had the nerve to smirk and keep going. like she didn't just trip up a baby on purpose. that cow! she broke from her spiteful thoughts when she heard Holly sniffle. the horse face slag only scoffed.

" you better not cry brat " she left to clean the kitchen leaving Merope stunned and fuming mad. she was going to get her back for that.

Merope watched was Holly got up again and walked fully to the door. " papa! " Merope rubbed her head. " I miss him to sweetie... " the woman must have heard the little girl and came to them. she glared at the little girl trying to get out her away from the front door. " get away from the door freak! " she pulled her away from the door by her arm. Holly screamed in pain from the unnecessary force.

the woman turned Holly around and smacked her behind. " you ungrateful brat! " Holly was calling for her parents. Merope snapped. " you evil, vile, heartless, mean spirited, ugly whore! " she grabbed on to her. feeling stronger. like she was filling up after not eating for days.

petunia was suddenly feeling light headed and nauseous. it was like a light went out and she fell over unconscious.

Holly was crying in pain from the spanking she didn't deserve. Merope went to push some hair away from her face and to her surprise, it move! she was able to move the hair away! Holly looked around for her. trying to see who was there. " mama? papa? paddy? moony? " she called out for them. " no sweetie, it's grandma "

she looked up at her, green eyes staring at her. " gan'ma? " Holly repeated. Merope was stunned. did she, did she hear me?

she must have! she was smiling at her achievement. she rubbed Holly's head, this time seeing black curls move and Holly let out a happy screech. she loved that she could finally help her granddaughter in someway.

she was happy for a while when she heard another baby cry. she checked the room and saw pudgy baby boy. she checked his diaper nothing there. so he was probably hungry. he'll be fine till the bitch wakes up. but she'll do her best make him feel better. she rubbed his tummy and that seemed to help him feel better. she left to check on Holly and got her to sleep.

an hour later petunia woke up holding her head. filled with panic, she needed to clean up still and feed Dudley! she got up and left too get Dudley with Merope watching. she will admit she's jealous that this mule face woman got a husband... a home... and son that she lived to care for... but she's not going to let her second chance of a family be lost to her. she watched as petunia feed him. the boy clearly didn't want food. but she feed him anyway.

Merope wanted to say something to her but kept quiet. and just watched her from the door way. she went down to see Holly.

Holly was still asleep on the floor. Merope smiled as she smoothed out Holly's hair with her hand a bit. it made her feel better.

the woman came to clean but left Holly alone for now. after some hours that fat pig came back. he saw Holly playing with a toy that was left down there " petunia why does that freak have one of Dudley's toy's. " he glared at the little girl while petunia looked confused. " huh? " she turned and saw Holly playing with stuffed bear. " put that down! " she was about go grab it when she stop and went back to kitchen. " just let her keep. she already contaminated. " Vernon Merced over to her snitch it from her. but when he did he left Merope suck most of his energy up. leaving him tired. he drop the toy as he held his head. " I'll just go to bed pet..." she didn't look at him but nodded. " good night Vernon " nodded back. " good night pet "

months when by and James was free to go. Kara arrived with they're son Jackson.
he held some hope that Holly was with her somehow. he went his little girl back... he probably missed her first steps... Kara hugged him tight. " what's wrong James ? " James looked at Jackson's smiling face. it renewed his fire to find Holly. to bring her home with them.
he'll hire private eyes if he needs to, he'll get his little girl back and bring her back home. Dumbledore be damned!
Merope started to get stronger the more she sucked the energy from them. she was able to holding things. be heard by Holly and Dudley and now be seen! she was able to be visible for 5 whole minutes!
she was excited. now she could do more for these poor baby's in need...
it wasn't until something on tv made her think of an old potion she had read about in secret in from her father. it was a potions book she had gotten from her father's bookcase. it was blurry but it was coming back to her. the potion of life... no the potion of renewal? no, oh yes! the Regeneration potion! she had forgotten about till now. bone of someone related by blood. blood of someone close and blood of family. teeth are bone... and Holly's baby teeth will fall off when she's older...and a little drop is all she needs anyway.
she could wait some years before that happy day of bring Tom and his wife back to Holly. she could wait. she was broke from her musings by Holly crying in the closet she was locked in. but she couldn't promise those two with live to see it. she was still mad at them for that. she's been making them tired and giving them nightmares for good measure.
