Sarutobi let out a laugh as he heard the question. This woman was just so easy to tease and irritate. He wondered what would happen if he teased her enough, would she kick his ass or would she get in bed with him. He shook his head. He had other things to worry about than if he could still bed a woman.

He came out of his thoughts as he heard Carol yell that they were not dating. As Carol and Tony argued, Hiruzen took his time to look around at the other heroes. There was a man with blond hair and wearing a uniform underneath his trench coach. The next was a darker skinned man standing next to a woman and a child, his guess they were family. Then there was a man wearing a blindfold around his head covering his eyes and a regular jacket. The last was a teen wearing a dark outfit with a hood and a spider symbol on his chest.

He shook his head with these people and their weird outfits. Some of them looked skin tight enough to see their privates or their purposefully exposing some areas. As he continued to look at the area he was in, the man in the trench coat came up to him.

"Can I get your name son" the blond said as he held out his hand.

Hiruzen raised an eyebrow as he grabbed the man's hand. He didn't know why the man called him son when he didn't look much older than him and he was about seventy when he died and seventy four when he was an edo tensei.

"Hiruzen sarutobi"

The man gave a small smile" steve rodgers nice to meet you"

That gave Sarutobi an understanding. When he was catching up on the history of this world it said this man fought in the second great war and then later fell in the ocean and was seen until the avengers were formed.

"Ah nice to meet you as well"

Steve brought his attention to the other people in the room" those there are the cage family, daredevil,spiderman, tony stark and you have already met captain marvel"

Hiruzen smirked, yes he definitely met carol and hopefully he can get her to be more intimate later on. He may have been a married man and had kids but he had twelve years to get over his wife's death and he was always a pervert at heart.

Hearing their names the two arguing came to a stop but Carol was still glaring at tony and hiruzen.

"Speaking of you guys, how did you meet?" It was the other woman and she was giving Carol an evil smirk.

Carol gave the most deadpan response ever" on an airplane"

Sarutobi silently laughed at the looks she was given and her face flushed red from embarrassment.

Tony laughed outright" so you're telling me you got on an airplane met this guy and then brought him over here because he was that enticing and you were so lonely you needed an extra in the bed"

That got a chuckle out of everyone, a laugh out of Hiruzen, a disapproving look from Steve and a glare from carol.

"No i met him while he was sleeping on the roof of an airplane going to new york and i get plenty of extras in the bed thank you very much"

"Must be every once in a year '' Hiruzen muttered under his breath while everybody turned their eyes unto him. Looking up at them he raised an eyebrow.

"What"

Tony gave hiruzen a look" who sleeps on an airplane when you can just go inside of it"

Sarutobi looked away in embarrassment" i didn't have any money to get inside"

"Alright we'll continue this later for now we have more important matters to discuss, so everybody follow me" Steve said as he began walking towards a table.

Hiruzen shrugged, he had nothing better to do and these people seammed nice enough. So with that he followed after the others

With destiny

She tried to run from the man that was chasing her but she couldn't. It had its tendrils surrounding her legs and arms cutting off all movement. It looked like the man she saw from her last dream of him except he was different.

The symbiote that surrounded him was now white where the red was and still black at the bottom. Besides the color change it was the mast that scared her. It had two horns protruding from its head and a grin that showed off its sharp teeth. Its eyes black with a sickly yellow dot for a pupil staring at her"

The tendrils brought her closer to the man until they were face to face. When the man spoke it wasn't all she thought it was going to be. Instead it sounded dark sinister and like it would kill her without any thought at all.

" Your ability to see the future angers me girl. It ruins the plans I have for sarutobi and now your fates are intertwined. I would kill you but then that would anger the fates and i don't want that at least right now, no i have a punishment for this transgression, now watch as it unfolds "

He turned her towards the forest they were in and out of nowhere a mirror of water came in front of her. And with a wave of his hand images of all the people that know about her or even her very existence started to have their memories erased. It was cruel and inhumane as she knew what was going to happen next.

Tears came to her face as an image landed on mystique and she watched as Raven started to drop to her knees as she screamed in agonizing pain. Forgetting everything their was about her lover. The images continued until it landed on moira. Irene looked at the creature wondering why he stopped at her.

"She will be stewing in her insanity looking for a human that nobody but she can remember and when that gets to her I will end her before she can do it herself."

That was so much crueler than it sounded. But wait what did the creature mean by human. She was a mutant. It took but a moment for her to realize what that creature was going to do. With renewed vigor she tried to escape her bonds but it was no use.

As if wanting to humiliate her more the creature began to speak again." you have already seen specs of sarutobi's future here. If not for your ability to see the future then you would have never have even come across me. Once the mortal entered the universe the fates pulled strings and set in motion actions that should not have you're here with me watching as you become nothing more than a mere human with nothing but your memories of the time you were a mutant"

She wanted to yell and try to kill this monster. She didn't do anything to deserve this to have these things happen to her. It was all in vain though as darkness swallowed her up, bringing her to the world of the living but not before hearing the creature's voice once more.

"I will have fun taking your soul and sarutobis once the fates are done playing with you"

With that destiny was no more, now only stood irene adler.

With mystique

She didn't know what just happened but it made her whole body shake with pain and gave her the biggest headache of her life. If not for the other screams of pain she would have thought she was the only one but there was more.

The other screams were not as intense as hers but they were still there. As soon as she was good she was going to have a council meeting about this. She also felt as if something was missing as if a part of her was torn out but that was a thought for the quiet council to hear later.

Right now she had to deal with the search for this missing mutant that disappeared a couple of months ago.

Back with hiruzen

He watched with wide eyes as these people he met not even thirty minutes ago screamed in agoning. One moment they were talking about a man called kingpin who took over the city and banded the usage of superheroes unless they were registered.

Apparently something like this happened a few years ago but it was different. From what carol said it was a civil war between the superhero community after someone with powers killed a ton of people. He shook his head at the ridiculousness of it all.

These people have a new major problem come up every week from what he could see. Did these people ever take breaks. Go spend time with their families or hell just have fun. He shook his head he didn't want to get more involved with the heroes than he already was.

Turning his attention back to the heroes he watched as they came back to their senses. They had sweat coming off of their faces and had looks of shock on their faces. The only ones not affected were himself and the little girl.

He took extra notice in carol as she sat on her hands and knees. Her outfit was clinging seductively to her body. He was pretty sure there was some nipplle poking out from her suit clingling so hard to her. A little bit of blood dribbled out of his nose at the prospect of bedding this extremely hot woman.

Carol as if noticing his thoughts gave a glare directed to him. She gave out a puff and shot a little energy towards him hitting him in the chest. It wasn't enough to hurt him but it did sting.

"What the hell was that for?" Hiruzen asked as he rubbed his chest.

If anything carols glare got harder" i saw you looking in the wrong places buddy"

Hiruzen gave her a sheepish look" i'm sorry i just can't resist a beauty like you"

Carols face went red with embarrassment" just shut up you idiot"

Hiruzen was going to respond but a cough interrupted him. He looked towards Tony who was giving him an approving look and a smirk. He returned the smirk with one of his own.

'As nice as this all is, we have to get back to our problem and figure out what just happened." Everyone turned to Steve to see him with a slightly shaken look on his face.

"Yeah talking about that does anyone have any clue what happened" luke cage asked

Everyone shook their heads and sat back down on the table. The plans they were discussing were quite simple but had some holes in it. They would have Luke run for mayor and then see what would happen from there. Of course there was more but Hiruzen didn't really care all that much.

"You should care because they will rope you into this mess somehow" the symbiote warned

Hiruzen shrugged" we will just have to wait and see won't we"

"Yes we will," toxin replied.

With irene the next day

She could see. The colors of the world, the animals outside, the wilderness, the busy streets and anything else you could think of. It was probably the best gift and the worst curse that creature could have given her.

When she awoke she was laying on a bed in a small apartment somewhere. She didn't know how she got there since she was sleeping in raven's room. Irene just chalked it up to the power the creature held.

The first thing she did was to check if she did indeed not have her powers anymore. She almost broke down when she found out it was true. But she was a strong woman and didnt have the time for that. So with those thoughts in her head ,she got ready to go explore her life as a regular human.

When she looked in the mirror her eyes were still the stormy grays they were before. It was probably just another cruel trick by the creature to remind her of her past. As she finished up she left the house and truly explored the crowded streets of New york city.

Irene made a promise that day. She would stop that creature and return back to her old life or die trying.
