"Please don't talk to me the whole night again. It's Quidditch tomorrow and I need to be fit!", Ron looked over to Harry who concentrated read in his "Advanced Potion Making" book.

"No.", he gave Ron an answer without even listen to him properly.

"You think Hermione will be there?", the red haired wizard sat down on his bed and pulled out a book from his nightstand drawer.

A book she gave him, so he could "spent his time doing useful things"

"Okay." Harry mumbled as an answer. He still read very concentrated.

"Harry?", Ron frowned and looked over to him.

"Hmm", was the answer he got.

"What are you doing there?", he stood up and snatched the book out of Harrys hand.

"I'm trying to talk to you."

"What?", Harry looked up, "sorry. I really have to study"

"You are never studying", Ron now looked on the page in the book.

"It's a test tomorrow", Harry replied, ordering his book back from his best friend.

"It's Quidditch tomorrow", Ron looked at him.

"It's Snapes class", he took a deep breath and looked at his book again.

"It's Quidditch", Weasley repeated.

"I'll be there, but I need to pass it."

"Why? As soon as you leave the room, he's your dad…", Ron sank back on his bed.

"Funny. Very funny, Ron. He is not my dad and I still have to get good grades."

It's been two months since they started dating and still they didn't make it official.

Harry knew, Ron and Hermione too, but besides them three, no one did.

The rumors were getting louder week by week, but Snape held up his walls.

Lily met him only after bedtime or in between classes.

They hid away from everything in her bedroom. Snapes room was too obvious. Just as Harry walked in there, everyone could.

Lilys room wasn't even interesting for students at all.

"But he treats you differently out of class, doesn't he?", Ron smiled, inspecting Hermiones book again. Something with "History of wizardry in Great Britain"

"He only calls me Harry and smiles a bit. He is still Snape.", Harry answered and pulled out another book from behind.

"Still super weird."

"He makes my mum happy, so I'm cool with it."

"You think Hermione will be there?", Ron asked again, now that Harry was listening to him.

"She probably will. I think she really likes you, Ron"

"What? No", Ron shook his head.

"The way she looks at you is a bit suspicious, don't you think?", Harry smirked over to him and marked a word in the text he was reading.

"Yeah… I mean no. She's my friend. We're friends!"

"But you like her too..."

".. uhm.. no", now Ronald stood up again. His heart pounded loud in his chest.

"Uhm… yes", Harry nodded and laughed a bit.

"No.", Ron snatched the book out of Harrys hand again.

"Okay, okay", he threw his pencil next to his knee and jumped up to catch his book back.

"And I know that you are in love!" Ron said and clapped the book closed.

Harry closed his eyes for a second.

"Whatever. She's with someone else"

"Who is it?", Ron threw Harrys school book next to his bed. With that, his idea of actually studying for once, died after only 30 minutes.

"No one", the black haired wizard sank onto his mattress again.

He couldn't just tell his best friend that he fancied his little sister.

"Aaand that 'no one' is with someone else?", Ron sank next to him.

"Yes." Harry quickly nodded, "I have to go now"

"Wha?", Ron looked after him as he left the room, "I'll get you to tell me who she is!", he yelled after his best friend.

"You won't", Harry shouted back.

That evening, Harry had Dinner with his Mother at her rooms.

"I am so glad you came. It's nice to have a bit of privacy.", she walked around the table and placed a basket with bread on it, "somedays the great hall is a bit too great."

"It's nice talking to you without them whispering", her son answered as he grabbed a slice of bread out of the basket.

In front of him, the plate, filled with fresh cooked meal by the elfs from the kitchen.

"I know. It's exhausting", she said, falling down onto her dark oak chair.

"In class he acts like he would not know who you are", Harry took a bite, "which is actually good, so—"

"Hey, don't you want to wait for Severus? He should be here in a minute", Lily interrupted him.

"You didn't tell me he's having dinner with us today", he looked at her, trying not to choke.

"Because otherwise you wouldn't be here now", she said, when in exactly that moment his teacher stepped in.
