Chapter 11: Why Does Things have to be So Complicated!
Naruto was dead to the world. He was so exhausted form training that he wouldn't wake up. Even if Hinata tried to wake him up.
Vulpix did leave it's Pokéball however to try to wake him up in various ways.
But the idea were running out.
Tsunami looked at Vulpix coming into the room.
"He need his rest you know…" she told the little fox like Pokémon.
Back in the Ketchum-Kazama household…
Ranko got up with Torchic trailing her.
"Good morning Ranko." Said Ash.
"Morning…" said Ranko rubbing her eyes.
"How did you sleep?" asked Ash.
"Okay…" said Ranko.
"How are you feeling?" asked Ash.
"What does that mean?" asked Ranko.
"I know things are really weird latterly." Said Ash.
"They're always weird." Said Ranko.
"Well I meant just certain things…" said Ash.
"Oh you're talking about with Ryoga." Said Ranko.
Ash sweat dropped.
"Yeah…" said Ash .
Ranko sighed at that.
"Things are just weird." Said Ranko.
"What do you mean?" asked Ash.
"Will you stop this…" muttered Ranko.
"What?" asked Ash.
"I don't know why you're doing it but stop." Said Ranko.
She finished her breakfast and went to her room.
Ash sighed.
"Pikapi…" said Pikachu.
"I know…" sighed Ash.
Meanwhile on the bridge that is being built. The three were walking towards the construction site.
"I can't believe Naruto's sleeping in…" said Sasuke.
"Well you know how things are.": sighed Hinata.
"Yeah…" muttered Sasuke.
However everything was quiet. Too quiet…
They then found the bodies of other construction workers that reminded.
The four paled at the site.
"Everyone get ready." Said Kakashi.
The two ninjas in training nodded.
Back at the Ketchum-Kazama house, Ranko was in her room.
That as when Ryoga noticed how she was just staring at her ceiling.
"What's wrong?" asked Ryoga.
"Nothing…" muttered Ranko.
"Are you sure nothing is wrong?" asked Ryoga.
"Nothing's wrong!" yelled Ranko.
Ryoga stared at the little girl.
"Fine… I think it's my body." Said Ranko.
Ryoga stared at Ranko.
"What I mean is that I'm a five year old girl dealing with stuff a five yard shouldn't be dealing with!" yelled Ranko.
"Okay… that makes sense…" sighed Ryoga.
"What?" asked Ranko.
"You still have your memories." Said Ryoga.
"Yeah…" sighed Ranko.
Ryoga noted that Ash was nearby.
He wasn't' sure what he should say next and sighed.
Back at Tazuna's house Naruto woke up.
His Vulpix gave him a deadpan look.
He began to run around trying to eat and get ready and head to the bridge and pretty much panicking.
He then left after putting Vulpix in its Pokéball.
Back at the Ketchum-Kazama house…
Ranko sighed.
"It's been weird okay…" sighed Ranko, "Until recently I played dumb… acting like a normal five year old then something happened and I had to come clean…"
Ryoga nodded, pretty sure he had heard it before.
"but with you here… I don't know… I guess I've been still kind of pretending with my brothers and everyone else…" said Ranko.
Ryoga sighed.
He didn't mean to one to this world after all… he got lost again…
"I'm sorry…" sighed Ryoga.
"It's not your fault." Said Ranko.
Ryoga looked at Ash.
He decided to reveal that he was listening.
Ranko sighed at her oldest brother.
"Of course…" she said.
Back at Tazuna's house… things started to get messy.
Thugs had showed up and attacked Tsunami.
She was knocked out… but Inari wasn't.
"So you're the brat we're supposed to take." Said one of the thugs .
Inari was shaking in fear, as it was clear that this was part of a plan to get to his grandfather.
However thankfully that was when Naruto swooped in and saved them.
"What the!" yelled the hired thugs.
Naruto glared at the thugs ready to fight.
"What…" said Inari.
"Don't worry it's going to be fine…" said Naruto.
Back at the Ketchum-Kazama house… Ryoga and Ash looked at Ranko.
"I've been trying not to cry." Said Ranko.
"What?" asked both Ash and Ryoga.
"I've been trying not to cry." Sighed Ranko.
"is that why you're complaining about your body." Said Ryoga.
Ranko nodded.
"It's okay to cry… you know that." Said Ash.
"I know that… but I don't know…" pouted Ranko.
She began to shake.
"I don't know… maybe because things are piling up… I mean Naruto's away on his first mission outside of the village, Ryoga's here and I know what happened in my past life and just everything with you and Naruto finding out about me…" said Ranko on the verge of tears.
"Ranko…" said Ash.
"I'm really stressed and I don't know how long I can take it for.," said Ranko.
Ash hugged his sister who finally cried.
"It's okay Ranko… it's okay…" said Ash, "Everything will be fine… you'll see…"
Ranko just cried.
Ryoga watched as Ranko cried.
While he knew she. Had Ranma's memories and probably saw herself as Ranma, it was clear that she was dealing with a lot with him there.
Plus there was the whole things with her family… her very, very complicated family…
He hoped that he could get home soon, after all it was clear that him being there was not good for her.
She soon passed out from the combination of crying and stress.
"Is she going to be okay?" asked Ryoga.
"I think so…" said Ash.
He looked at Ash.
"How old were you again when you started taking care of her again?" asked Ryoga.
"You don't want to know…" sighed Ash.
Ryoga sighed at that, knowing that Ash was very young when he took over for his siblings.
Back with Naruto he was ready to fight.
While on the bridge, the two enemy ninja had reappeared. It was clear that they were going to fight.
"Hinata… stay with Tazuna." Ordered Kakashi.
Hinata nodded knowing that she should stay with him.
Sasuke eyed the masked ninja getting the feeling that unless Naruto showed back up things were going to get bad.
However things weren't looking good in Wave combined with things back home, things were rather complected and hopefully things would get better…
Next Time: The real fight begins as Naruto has to save Tazuna's family and the bridge fight gets started. Meanwhile Ash and Ryoga help Ranko rough her complicated feelings...
