Will's Pov
The lake looks bootiful in the fading sunlight I stare as the sun goes down. Footsteps approach and I lift my head as Nico came over. "Hey" I say as he sits beside me. He looks at me then sighs "Hello solace". I had just turned back to the water when he said "This is beautiful" I look at him his eyes where closed and to my surprise he was smiling. "Yeah it is" We sat in silence till i said quietly "The darkness is just a Pretty as the light" Nico looked surprised to hear my voice but he said "I may prefer the Dark but the light can be Amazing" I turned away hiding my blush "Yeah, I guess your right" Nico got up and offered me his hand "Come on Will we got a curfew unless you want to be eaten by the harpes" I looked at him surprised but took his hand and got up "Thanks Nico" We walked back toward the cabins not speaking. when we got there Percy and Zena were talking by the campfire They looked up and Nico looked at me when Zena Smirked. "I got to go" And at that he walked away. I looked at Zena Confused she started laughing until Alex walked out of Cabin 13 she ran Over to Zena and said something before running toward me. "hey Will" She smiled at me and i smiled back "Hey Death girl" She laughed then looked at my face "I have a feeling you have a crush" I looked away instantly she smirked "So you do who is it" I looked at her "Promise not to tell" She nodded "I like...Your brother" Her face lit up "But i don't think he likes me back" Alex looked close at my face with a confused look "You like him but, Don't know how to tell him?" I shook my head " no it's I don't think he likes me back" Alex looked like she was about to laugh but she said calmly "Talk to Piper, She can help you" I stared then said "Thanks Alex I'll do that" She nodded then walked back over to Zena where she sat Whispering to her Zena looked at me and Grinned giving me a thumbs up. I walked away toward the Aphrodite cabin. Piper sat on the steps leading into the building "Hey piper" She looked up "Oh, Hello Will" I smiled then said "My Crush talked to me but i don't think they like me back what do you think i should do?" She sat thinking "Well why don't you ask them out if they say no then you know they don't like you if they say yes boom you got a date with your crush" I thought about it then nodded "I'll ask them tomorrow thanks Piper" she nodded and Headed into her cabin and I walked away toward mine thinking of how in the world was i going to ask Nico out.
In the morning
I walked toward the lake staring forward not really watching where i was going. I collided with someone and fell backward "Sorry" I said not looking up. "It's fine solace" Now that made me look up there stood Nico he held his hand out "Here" I grabbed his hand then stood up. "Thanks" He nodded "Where are you going" I looked at him "To the lake" Then i remembered "Hey Nico um..W-would you like to hang out tonight at the lake around sundown." Nico looked surprised then said "Like a date?" I smiled "Yeah a date well if you want it to be a date that is" He smiled a genuine smile "Yeah cya later" He walked away leaving me smiling happy that i had the guts to ask and he had said yes
I waited for Nico at the lake sitting on the rocks watching the sun go down. Someone sat beside me i looked over Nico sat and looked at me "so um.. this is awkward" I smiled and turned back to the sky then i thought of something "Hey nico you can control shadows right" He looked at me "Well yeah i mean i'm the son of Hades after all" I smirked and created a ball of pure light that floated between us "Try to do that" He closed his eyes and shook his head "No thanks" I made the light go out and for awhile it was silent then i said "Uh Nico i was wondering if..." I trailed off when i looked at his face he was staring at me but, when i looked at him he looked away. "I like you" Then Nico got up to leave but i grabbed his hand "I like you too" We just stared at each other then i got up standing beside him "Does that mean were.." I cut him off "Dating only if you want to" Nico smiled "Sure" A thought came "I got to tell someone something brb" We both left i ran to piper "Pips he said yes..." "Piper my crush asked me out..." Me and Nico looked at each other then at piper. then at the group she was sitting with.
Piper's mind: Oh crap crap crap
Percy's mind: OOOOOOOOO she messed up
Alex's Mind: Yesssss My ship sailed but,poor piper
Zena's mind: This is entertainment better then fighting monsters.
I looked at Piper then at nico "I can explain" she said looking at us "No need" Percy said "It's not a big Deal" Alex kicked his shin "What it's not" I looked at Nico and he looked at me we both smiled. "Are yall Dating~" Alex sang he eyes sparkling. "Yeah" We both said then looked at each other. The group burst out laughing and me and nico smiled. What a great day.
