Hello readers and friends,
As many of you know this story does not get updated too much anymore which is due in large part to the overwhelming amount of negative criticism and well just other commitments I have. Throughout the last couple of months I have been struggling with severe depression and well combine that with some of the horrible things I've been messaged because of this story lead me to not really want to update it. So I want to officially announce that Portgas D. Naruto will be discontinued from here on further.
HOWEVER, I will be doing a rewrite just to get rid of a lot of the plot holes and junk that happened all throughout it. A lot of people don't know this but I started this story when I was just a junior in highschool and continued to write because it helped me cope. I would also like to say thank you to all those who read and enjoyed the story. Your positive comments were pretty much the only reason why I wanted to continue writing for a long time.
If someone is interested in continuing the story itself I only ask that you reach out to me before hand so that I can discuss my original plan and ending to the story with you.
Anyway, about the rewrite!
I'm excited to announce that some of the story will stay the same but a large part of it will be scrapped and redone. I have decided to get rid of the Water Water fruit as it was that which caused the most complaints. This time around I plan to develop the characters much more and give them all more of a backstory. Moreover, this new story will be a longer length in terms of how many words are in each chapter as well as arcs in the story will go by slower just given the fact that more detail will be added. To add on, I plan to update the new story at least once a month so that I do not get overwhelmed with my personal life.
I know that some of you have been all patiently waiting for the next chapter of this story and I am truly sorry.
