Wings of Freedom
Chapter 15
Outside the walls of Konoha
As both Tifa and Bahamut are facing what seems to be an abomination of everything.
As they see a monster that's big as a Bijuu, but what looks is pure horror. As the body is that of the Kyuubi, but the tails have heads that look like some kind of dragons. And having three eyes, as one is Kyuubi with pure white eyes, as the other is that of a seems to be a calm like head with one white eye. The last one is a long face head with horns on the top as well as eyes white.
To top it all off, this is Athena, or if one could still call her that, she is a monster. "Bahamut what is that?" said Tifa with her eyes widened by this.
"I know one thing it is and that is a monster," said Bahamut as he changes back to his true form as he adds in "one thing is for sure, that thing can't be allowed to LIVE" Bahamut roars.
Tifa nods as she needs to do something as Bahamut charges at the monster.
Naruko and Blaze
Just as Naruko and Hel are crashing into each other, Blaze however sees the monster that Bahamut is attacking. "What the hell has that idiot done to that clone. HEY, BOTH OF YOU STOP AND LOOK AT THIS NOW!" Naruko kicks Hel away, she turns to look for a quick sec but takes another look as she sees it. The monster and Hel jumps at her but Naruko grabs her and forces her to look at what Athena has become
Hel brings out her wings to push Naruko away as she says "that?! I don't care, I just want both of your heads!" Naruko widened at that. Naruko growls and gets back to fighting.
Blaze however is thinking, should he stay and help Naruko? Or go and help outtake on that monstrous thing. Blaze growls, then he decides to help out Bahamut to take down that thing.
Well, he would if it wasn't for the sound of something being launched at. It was massive pins that pin Blaze down as he screams as he launches toward the walls of Konoha, for where he is pinned down and out of the battle.
Naruko has Hel in a lock as she sees what happened to Blaze as she shouts "Blaze!" Blaze tries to get up but can't "Keep fighting Naruko don't let them win!" as he can't believe he let this happen.
Naruko nods as she tightens her hold on Hel.
With Ayuka and Lazuli
Both are unstopping attack with their barrage of attacks while Loki is on the blocking with her kunais as she thinking 'What the hell they are not letting me get an attack in at all' as both are thrashing toward Loki, until both of them psych Loki into believing that they're going to punch her face thus she has guarded her face but only leave her open for a double kick on Loki's stomach. Loki gagged in pain.
Ayuka says "you may look like our sweet Naruko but you don't have her smarts" Loki is wheezing as Lazuli adds "or her stamina" with Ayuka. As Loki looks at them with her eyes bloodshot red. Ayuka has her blade at Loki's throat as Ayuka says "so what should we do with this one?"
Lazuli says "mm well if it's any other case, we would kill her but given we don't know, we just restrain her" Ayuka then swings her blade about removing Loki's head while she says "I can't take the risk at all Lazuli."
Then their senses come at them, so they right away as fast as they can, leaving Loki there as something massive is thrown and taken down many trees.
Loki sees that the tree she is on is still standing as she looks to see Bahamut had been thrown but he is jumped by the monstrous Athena. Loki says "Athena always been a monster never thought she would finally look the part" she gets up as she tries to get away as she has her wings appeared out of her back, her wings are dark green. As she is about to fly off.
Then quills start to rain down on Loki hitting everywhere and as she is on the ground dying she looks to see Penelope did it or a clone of her "You are not going to survive this." Loki growls in anger as she shouts as she throws her Kunis at Penelope "get out of my way you dumb bird! I'm getting out here and surviving the"
She falls over dead as there is a quill in her heart and her throat, as Loki's final thoughts are 't-this can't be..I-I just wanted to live in a life of luxury' as she falls and hits the floor. As Loki is dead with her eyes widened open, they stare in a lifeless glare. While her dark green feathers flowed. Penelope lands by the body then close Loki's eyes. She takes flight.
Penelope then burns the body by using her blue flames as she says while flipping her wings "go now, green Trickster for your role is done here" as the body of Loki is burning away until there's nothing left but her dark green feathers. Then the feathers disappear as well.
Ayuka and Lazuli arrived behind Penelope, "that's one down, so what's next?" said Lazuli. Penelope points to the monster "you two have what you can..I will go help my love" she turns to the pin to the wall Blaze.
The monster is fighting Bahamut both nod to that, leaving Penelope to herself as she is thinking 'something is not right, why isn't he returning to our home and coming back?'
The others are fighting Naruko's clones, like Chifusa against Caliber. As both are fighting each other in an epic duel of the sword and not far, none of them had able to land a cut on each other.
They are both panting while both staring at each other with sweat on them. Then they get back to fighting as there are flashes as well sparks and others as the two are locked into this fight.
Hinata and Yoruichi
Hinata along with Yoruichi is trying to get closer to Artemis but she keeps making distances while firing arrows with her bow as each arrow is doing something different.
While Near blaze
Naruko and Hel then collide and then leave the area again as Hel says "what's the matter?! Can't help worry about your dumb bird! Given how he's very much useless!"
Naruko then unleashes a flame in close rage hitting Hel, Hel screams in pain as the flames are pure BLACK. She shouts "you fucking bitch!" She tackles Naruto while both rolling down the road that leads to Konoha.
At the gates
The ninjas of Konoha are guarding the gates as Kakashi is in the front line as he blocks oncoming kunais from the Soldiers. Then he sees three people as one of them raises their hand and says "Hi! I am Tobi, we are here to help!" as Kakashi turns to the man in the orange mask as he says "w-what?" Then he sees a woman with orange hair and rings in her eyes as she says "Shinra Tensei!" and a powerful force of air is pushing away the throwing weapons and not just them, but also the Soldiers.
Nagako says "Pathetic." Konan says "don't forget, there are the same ones that taken down our whole group..sigh, Nagako" she can't believe that she said it, Nagako smiles in victory.
Kakashi blinks in confusion as he thinks 'just who are these people? And why do I get an odd sense of familiarity from this guy?' He looks at the masked man. While he is goofy.
With blaze
The pillars start to move as he senses something he looked through Naruko's memories when he tested her and he senses the man who killed her parents.
"He's here? But why not?!" says Blaze, as he is angry, she then removes one of them that is pinning him down then the others follow but he found that he can't, he curses.
Then he sees his beloved coming toward him, "I must look very sorry to you huh?" said blaze as he sees Penelope arriving as she says "My love that is not true but you are my husband and I will help you out" as she taking off the 2nd pin as she says "just two to go"
Then she removes the other two and Blaze shoots off the ground then appears and kisses her cheek and says "Thank you love. Now I have a target to deal with." He shoots off to where his target is. Penelope looks where Naruko is then where Blaze is going, as she says "but what about..I will go help her, whatever you have in mind my love, it must be something" she flies toward Naruko.
Moments later with the Red Dawn
Tobi turns and sees a roaring fireball heading his way and Tobi "oh sweet kami! I'm going to burn alive!" then a few minutes later "or maybe not" he laughs like a fool as he thought that it would go through him. But he is slammed into by the roaring Fireball showing the flames are different from Normal flames.
Kakashi says "where are they?" he turns where the fireball came from and soon he sees an angry Blaze. "Am I missing something here?" Tobi screams as he panicking "oh fuck!" he runs off.
Blaze appears in front of him and grabs his throat "I AM NOT THROUGH WITH YOU!"
Both girls are watching this as Blaze is beating up Tobi as Konan says "do you know that guy?" Nagako shakes her head no "no, I don't but it seems Madara does"
Blaze then slams both of his hands into Tobi's head making the ground crater as Blaze is panting as it seems he wasted whatever energy he had left thus he can't go on for long. Blaze then pulls something out and drinks it and he gets energy from it as he says "don't think I'm done!"
At the road
A pair of travelers are making their way through but it was cut off when they see two girls fly past them and they have wings.
The Girls are fighting as both are beaten, bloody, and showing no sign of backing down. Then Naruko has her blade ready but Hel grabs it before Naruko could swing as Hel blows a headbutt onto Naruko in which Naruko withstand it and right away turn into a glare between as both get away from each other and now flying in the sky, not knowing what's going on right now.
Just as Naruto hears "Naruko!" Before Hel can hit Naruko, quills shoot out and hit Hel instead. As Naruko sees Penelope come up to her and says "I am here to help you." Naruko says "but what about Blaze?!"
Penelope says "I had helped him before I help you, an update, the green one, she is no more" Naruko nods as she thinking 'that would explain I felt something returning to me moments ago'
Naruko turns back to Hel is removing the quills from herself as Penelope "I guess she would be stronger than the green one"
Naruko says "She was created after I escaped and likely the oldest among the others." Hel grew angry as her scythe appeared in her hand.
Back at the forest part
Bahamut enters a struggle against the massive monster that is Athena as Tifa is on Bahamut's head as she jumps off and gets on one of the three heads as she starts gathering up chakra as she is going to break through the skull and hopefully take it out.
Tifa is then able to hit one of the beast's heads and knock it out, Tifa says "yes!" but she gets hit by one of the head-tails of Athena.
She is screaming as she gets pushed off of the head, Bahamut sees this while his clawed hands are too occupied to catch her. Tifa is falling as she thinks that this is her end. But she is caught by papers which she is confused about, then the paper is forming up into a person until Tifa sees that the paper fully becomes a woman, as Konan says "are you ok?"
"Yes but who are you?" asked Tifa then they hear a roar of pain and turn to see that the monster is bleeding from one of its heads as they hear someone screaming which words are "DAMN IT! YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT!" Then he is hit and sent flying into the ground. Tifa and Konan blink as Konan says "I'm Konan and I think that was my leader that got thrown" as she flapped her paper wings.
"And that was Naruko's summons that is throwing him around like a rag doll." said Tifa, "so it would seem," says Konan.
Bahamut sees that now two heads of Athena are down. He can gather a massive amount of fire.
Meanwhile outside of the battle.
The hooded man says "it is time" he begins walking as one of the Scientists "sir what are you doing! You can't enter the fight! Your condition!" as he holds up his arm as he says "I've waited long enough, it's about time I do this myself" as he keeps on walking as in the distance, a mass flame is fired followed by a scream of pain from Athena as it seems she has met her end.
Back to the battlefield.
Naruko then feels something more powerful then hears in her head 'so a part of me returns huh? Haha, to think they would go that far' Naruko looks around to find who said that but there's no one else as Hel shouts "the fuck are you doing Valkyrie!"
Naruko then hears 'So my container can hear me finally!' Naruko says "ok either I hit my head very hard or I'm hearing voices in my head" while Penelope says "worry about that later! Here she comes!"
Naruko turns to see Hel about to hit her but Naruko throws a punch and their fist/blade meets as Naruko uses her right arm. Both struggle against each other. As they're trying to overpower each other.
Naruko then suddenly gets more strength and pushes Hel away.
With Hinata
Hinata is taking cover as well as Yoruichi as there's a barrage of arrows as Hinata says "how do we stop her from firing their arrows!" Yoruichi says "better question, how isn't she not running out?!"
Then someone appears next to them and it is a turtle, Yoruichi says "wait your one of the old man's subordinates?! Why are you here?!" Hinata says "shouldn't you be helping Chifusa?!"
"You guys need a shield from these arrows, my armor and shell can do that!" said the turtle then turned to Hinata "she sent me here to help you as she is very busy with her…duel…is that right?" said the armored turtle.
Hinata nods and the Turtle says "Stay behind me!" his shell lifted and became a moving cover. The Arrows are bouncing off while Artemis is grinding her teeth as she says "I guess I need to switch piercing armor" she placed her hand on the tattoo on her left arm which is a store seal mark. The Turtle smirks as he hears her and makes the shell stronger and tougher.
While Hinata and Yoruichi are staying behind as Hinata is thinking 'I couldn't get through, so I have no choice but to kill her they get closer.
With Chifusa
Chifusa is panting as she lays her back against Caliber as Chifusa says "you're very amazing you know that?" as she panting. "So are you," said Caliber as she panting as Chifusa says "you know, if you weren't on the other side…I think we would be great friends" she smiles.
"Well I agree but remember I am a clone of Big Valkyrie as the soldiers are dying," said Caliber as Chifusa says "I know, so shall we finish this?" she is getting on her feet. Caliber says "yes, let's" she gets up as well and both get into their stances.
They get into a stance that when a leaf falls both of them disappear and appear where the other was standing with their blades out, as they stand with their backs to each other Caliber smiles and says "I am glad I was able to fight you." She then falls forward as her chest is bleeding along with her stomach and back. Chifusa falls forwards but she catches herself as Caliber turns to ash and blows into the wind.
Chifusa says "maybe we will meet again in another life" before she walks away, she sees Caliber's sword. She goes over to it, pick it, and made it hers "I will put it to good use"
Chifusa then heads to Hinata and Yoruichi areas where she sneaks up on them and sees they are still having some trouble.
With Tifa
Tifa says "so this guy your…boss?" she points at the legs of Tobi/Madara as they stick out from the ground and twitch. Konan says "I think." while she hears "Konan!" Both Tifa and Konan turn to see Nagako running up to them.
Tifa asks "And she is?" Konan says "childhood friend" Tifa just nods, then their notice Nagako stops while saying "Konan, get your new friend out of here" as she has a serious face. Both look behind and Tifa sees the hooded man.
"The monster that started this all!" said Tifa as she gets grabbed by Konan both of them run while Nagako says "I don't know what your goal is but You will pay for what you did!" She holds up her hand and says "Shin-" but is cut off as Tobi comes up behind the hooded man, grabs him by the neck, and starts to twist it, making him scream then SNAP his neck and back break as the body falls. Making the hooded man die.
Tobi speaks in his normal voice "I thought he would be more of a challenge" as Nagako thinks 'well there goes my time to shine' then they hear laughing. "What in Kami's name?!" said Tobi as he moves away from the Hooded man's body as he gets up and fixes his head to the way it should be. Tobi says "just what are you!"
The hooded man begins taking off his clothes as well revealing his face "just man, whose destiny is long overdue" as Nagako says "fucking hell! Look at that man! He's built like a building!"
Tobi isn't listening as he looks at the man's left arm with his one eye as its red, and notices a scared circle on the shoulder and the whole arm. He is thinking 'that scar… is made from surgery…meaning that arm…isn't his' he looks at him as the man just standing there.
'Just who is he? And what kind of destiny does he even mean?' said Tobi.
With Hinata
Now with Chifusa arriving to help out Hinata, both have pinned Artemis onto the tree with Chifusa having her sword at the neck, Hinata says "last chance! Will you change sides!"
Artemis growls "NEVER!" as she adds in "besides, I won't mind dying in the arms of a lovely thing like you anyway, but don't let it get to you, be glad that you had, at last, tried" she smirks and Hinata sighs as Hinata says "then this is goodbye" she looks at Chifusa.
Chifusa removes Artemis's head. Her body and head turn to ash and her bow starts to glow and shoots off somewhere. As Artemis begins turning into ashes.
With Naruko
Naruko is panting then by instinct she holds out her right hand as she does not know why she is doing it but she is now overpowering Hel until she disarms Hel of her weapon and grabs Hel by her head and her face Mets Naruko's knee. This knocks out Hel, as she is falling toward the ground, Naruto notices something is coming at her and readies herself to catch it, she sees what it is as it is a bow, a bow that one of her clones uses,
Before she could do anything, the bow glows and changes form as it turns back into the staff. The staff that belongs to the Sage of Six paths. Penelope says "the Staff! But why did it go to you, Naruko?"
"I have no idea," said Naruko as she looked at it. Then she feels something is off, as her head for no reason, automatically turns toward the gates where Tifa is at. She then heads that way while Hel, who is still alive but is passed out as she is laying on the grassy fields.
Blaze then appears panting his hand then lights on fire with white flames "You are about to get your own life for yourself." Blaze lights her on fire as Naruko's part leaves her and goes to Naruko as Hel becomes her person, with whatever strength he has left.
At the gates
Naruko arrived at the gate, as she sees many of her allies, along with there she doesn't know are beaten down as she sees the large man, who is sitting on a chair made out of bodies of Konoha ninjas that had come, fight and lose to this man, with the staff in hand she points at him "you!"
The man gets up "you've kept me waiting for Valkyrie." as he walks up to her as Naruko says "you the one who did all of this! You're the reason why I was taken away! Why can't I fully move on with my life! Why these memories" her eyes twitching as she hears all the things from the voices, the beating, the training, the buzzing and finally her screaming for help.
"What I had done, done and do so again, is for a destiny," said the man, Naruko glares at him with her red wings glowing to match her anger. Naruko says "And what you have done has stripped me of my youth and childhood!" she changed toward him with the staff in hand, "foolish girl," says the man, as he left up his arm and what happens next is quite shocking.
Cause. What happens within a few seconds as Naruko finds to be held in place…by chains made out of chakra as they come from the man's arm. Naruko growls and says "You fucking bastard! How can you do this! There's no fucking way you're an Uzumaki!" as she tries to break free but finds that she can't. The man says "that's where you are right Valkyrie, I'm not"
Naruko glares daggers "yet you are using my kinsmen's chakra chain! How!" the man looks at 'his' arm as the chains coming out of it, "it's very simple really, I simply force my will to the arm of a dear friend of mine"
Naruko gets even angrier as she is struggling, "just who the fuck are you! Why are you doing this!" shouted the enraged Naruko. "Why put me through all that pain just for what!"
"My name is Vladimir. Nothing more, nothing less, as to why I did all of this? Why have you been kidnapped? Why did I have you to be trained, modify you, even clone you…it was all for taking downtime itself! To make it gone forever!"
Naruko widens at that as she says "t-time?" Vladimir "yes time, I seek to destroy! Why?! For Time is the greatest enemy of all!"
Penelope says "Then you will throw off the balance and make the world overpopulated!" Vladimir says "I do not care! You won't understand! After all, you phoenixes are immortal! You won't have to see your loved ones withered and died! But for us who live on a limited time! See the young to see their mothers and fathers grow and in turn, they grow old as well!"
"You're wrong on that! We have seen our members pass on and Blaze carries that burden to do it! Many had had enough and he makes it where the life they are living in their last!" Shouts Penelope, Vladimir just looks at her. And he throws a punch in the air and Penelope gets hit and taken out of the sky, causing her to fall while losing a few feathers.
Naruko roars in rage as a pulse goes out breaking the chains one by one as Vladimir says "now then, lets fulfilled you are meant to do, help me to help the realm o-"
Naruko shatters free and appears in front of Vladimir and punches him so hard he is sent flying as she says "I will fucking kill you! And I will not do such a thing like helping a monster like you!" as she comes at him as Vladimir is in a mound of dirt.
Blaze ultimately reaches as he is huffing as he tries to get his strength back but he sees Vladimir and then Blaze snaps his fingers summoning a Phoenix who is one his last life and Blaze points to Naruko to help her the phoenix nods.
Then he notices his beloved on the ground, he right away goes to her, he checks her over as he says "It is ok Penelope I am here" Penelope groans as she opens her eyes and sees her beloved "B-Blaze, p-please listen to me" Blaze asks "What is it, my dear?" Penelope explains.
With Naruko
Naruko slugs the man again and the phoenix appears as he is about to hit her and protects her with their wings, Vladimir is not phased by this. As he says "begone" chains appeared once again and this time, they try to pierce the phoenix but not all of them as a few fuses with Naruko making armor appear on her.
Naruko says "Nice try!" Then she sees Vladimir's large fist hit right onto the armored chest, though she is protected, she can feel the impact of the force behind it. Naruko thinks 'Damn it that hurts still' as she holds onto her chest while the armor isn't damaged yet she got hurt anyway as she thinks 'j-just how strong is this monster!'
Naruko then feels a burning in her eyes when she hears the voice of Blaze "Calm down that burning you feeling is going to help you against Vladimir." he appeared at the scene as Vladimir looks at Blaze and says "you stay out of this"
He hears "Oh I am not fighting at all as I need to recover so yeah I am staying out of this." Then he sees Vladimir snap his finger and a wall appears in front of Blaze as a seat appears for Blaze to sit on.
Then someone appears behind Vladimir and slashes him making him scream in pain and he turns to see Hel as she disappears and reappears next to Naruko, "Hel what are you doing?!"
He says "I heard what you fucking said! You had me and my sisters do your fucking battle so you can destroy time! Are you fucking Insane! How are you even going to do that?!" Vladimir says "if you must know your original self's wings, have you ever wondered why they are red?"
'Now I have to thank that Phoenix he made me my own person and to see that this man is mad' Hel thinks as she hears "among the Uzumaki clan, a rare small few can gain the wings but there's a set of wings that can open a doorway to time itself and that is the red wings, but there don't appear though birth" he shakes his head "no, that requires something…something like a loss of young, though pain, loneliness and losing hope."
Blaze hears this and he says "So that is why you removed her arm to force this. Why do you make me do all that?! For her wings to be red?! Are you that sick in the mind?!"
Vladimir shouts "that's right! And I would do so again! If it means bringing my goal even closer! So I once finally erase time! So all can be free from its shackles! So no one would love someone their love! And enter an age that's ever losing!"
Blaze is thinking 'oh why couldn't he be someone that wants to take over the world?! Cause that's just plain insane! Why destroy time?!'
Then something happens and people are feeling a deadly aura and they look at Naruko as red chakra is forming on her body as she says "You bastard all of this for DESTROYING TIME!" her eyes return red with anger, "I don't know what unsensible of a reason you have against Time! I won't hear it! Cause you will die!" The armor that's on her is shaking and removes itself from her as the chakra is hurting it and Naruko lets out her wings and they become redder due to the red chakra.
Naruko then disappears and appears behind him and punches him hard and sends him flying.
Just as Hinata and Chifusa to the scene and see this as well see Tifa, "Tifa!" shout Hinata as she comes up to Tifa to make sure that she is ok. Tifa groans "I am ok." as she says "the guy hits like massive tree log though fuck" she holds onto her side.
Hinata helps her up and the man flies by them as Naruko and Hel chase after him which confuses Chifusa as she says "wait I thought she was the enemy?! What is going on!"
Blaze appears with some items to help the injured "That might have been my doing. I made Hel her own person" as he sits down as he is absorbing chakra from nature around him as he says "yeah that's the stuff" as Hinata says "blaze just what is going on?"
With Naruko and Hel
Vladimir is blocking their attacks with his arms along though only one of them is making damage. Hel then starts using her dark chakra while Naruko is using the red chakra to make herself stronger as well as move faster.
They both hit him and for the first time in a long time, he screams in pain as Naruko has her arm changed into a blade with the red chakra, overpowered with it. Naruko slashes him, making him bleed on his chest. Hel uses this chance to go for the head. He dodges but his back gets slashed as he turns to see.
Hel slashed him as she smirks as she is happy to be slashing this guy but that was short-lived then she is grabbed by the head and he tries to crush her skull. However, Naruko uses her Naginata and slashes the arm removing the hand as the blade was powered by a red chakra.
Vladimir just looks at his missing left hand, both winged girls just realize something, they've been hitting as well slashing him, not once did this man bleed.
Naruko roars as her skin starts peeling off long with tails being formed by the red chakra coat. Naruko roars as the Naginata disappears as some more tails appear giving her four as her eyes go full red while Hel asks "the hell is going on-" then Vladimir appears in front of Naruko and grabs her by the neck with his only hand as he is going to stop this.
But his hand is burning as he is gritting his teeth then the vision of Kyuubi appears and roars forcing him to let go of her as Vladimir "you don't scare me! beast!" as chakra chains come out of his arm but to his shock and horror the chains are breaking before they even wrap around Naruko as she disappears and appears behind him and slashes him in two by the waist. As Vladimir groans as he goes with other ways to stop this.
Meanwhile back at the Konoha's gates
As some are slowly getting up, some no so and the rest are very much gone as Hinata is helping out both Konan and Nagako with Tifa as Hinata says "thank you for trying to protect Tifa miss" Konan nods "Your welcome."
Then they all feel a powerful pressure and they are scared as some knows what is going on "Naruko is using Kyuubi's power!" shouts Kakashi both girls "wait what?!" Nagako says "I guess you just found out she's a jinchuriki?" Kakashi then sees Tobi laying on his face and sees pieces of the mask which means it got shattered.
Blaze walks over and says "Don't bother I killed him, he is dead as he is the one responsible for the death of the Fourth and his wife." then their head coaching from Tobi to show that he is alive as Kakashi says "wait for him?! he seems way too goofy to be the one who did it."
"All an act as he is the one who did it I saw Kyuubi's memories and by default Kushina's he freed Kyuubi and he is blind I am sorry to say." said Blaze, both Konan and Nagako thinking 'he beat Madara?!'
