A/N: Sorry this took a while, hard to think of the beginning part of this three-shot. Decided that I just started off short and quick, so forgive me if it feels rushed. Especially if I can't explain the entire plot of Dragon Ball. No seriously, I don't think I can explain the entire plot from DB to DBS in such a short story.
TFS Nappa: I believe I can help with that.
Author: Please don't. Anyways, hope you enjoy Part 1. Not much fighting on this one, that will come in Part 2 and Part 3, this is just the build-up to it as well as the Caleo part. Hope you'll enjoy it.

Cue any Dragon Ball Openings (I'll let you decide)
Our story begins with a young man, walking towards his new job while getting a phone call from his mom.
"Mom, I'm doing okay. Really, just about to reach the front gate right now."
"[I know sweetie, I just worry for you. You know since-]"
"Mom, it's fine. I'm getting better; just need to distract myself with work and I'll manage. I promise I'll call after work."
They both said their goodbyes and the young man put away his phone as he finally reached the front gate. On the gate was a big sign saying: CAPSULE CORPS.
Episode: Arrival from Space! A young lady on the run?
As the man finally reached the main lobby, a receptionist was there on her desk, working on some papers on the computer.
"Excuse me? I'm Leo Valdez; I came here for the job?"
"Ah, Mr. Valdez. Thank you for coming; Mrs. Briefs is just waiting for you by her workshop. I you can follow me, please."
The lady stood up and escorted Leo around the building.
Today is Leo Valdez's first day working at Capsule Corps. It was his lifelong dream to be working with some of the best mechanics/scientists in the world. However, when he got the call to work there, he was trying to figure out why. He was a simple mechanic that works at a family auto shop at Nicky Town.
Leo moved to the city so that he can be close to his new job. It isn't much, a small apartment next to small flower shop that's a couple blocks down Capsule Corps.
The receptionist guided Leo down the hall and gave him a small tour. Most rooms were just labs or workshops, but there was one room that piqued his interest.
"Excuse me, but what is that?" Leo asked.
In the room, it was filled with tech, papers and at the center was a small podium, holding what appears to be seven orange balls with stars on them.
"Oh that? Unfortunately, I do not know. Mrs. Briefs might be able to answer that for you.
Later, the two finally made it to their destination. It was a big garage, and inside was Bulma working on a huge ship.
"Mrs. Briefs, Mr. Valdez has arrived."
Bulma stopped working on the machine and climbed down.
"Ah, Leo Valdez?" Bulma said. "My goodness you're all grown up."
Leo was confused.
"I'm sorry, have we met before?" Leo asked.
"Yeah, but you wouldn't remember. You were still a baby back then. I knew your mother, Esperanza."
"You know mom?!"
Bulma talked to Leo about how his mother taught her a thing or two about mechanics and repairs. The two were friends when she went out on a journey a long time ago.
"I was out on a journey looking for the Dragon Balls when I met your mother along the way. She helped me out with my ride and helped me by showing me a few tricks too."
"Dragon Balls?" Leo asked when she mentioned them. "What are those?"
"Ah, don't worry about that. Stick around and you might even see Shenron."
Leo was confused at the comment but ignored it.
"Anyways, I was wondering, why did you ask me to work for you?"
Bulma answered, "Other than you are a friend's son, your mom also told me that you are one of the best mechanics around. And I actually need help with something."
Bulma explained to Leo her situation.
Apparently, she has been to space several times. And when the national aerospace science team heard of it, they asked her for assistance.
"And now, I'm building them another spaceship since my husband blew up the last one."
"I'm sorry, blow up? How? Why?"
Bulma sighed. "He was, once again, training Goku and ended up destroying it in the process. I swear, all Saiyan ever care about is getting stronger. They'll fight anyone that's strong, but when it comes to handling precious equipment..."
"Huh, you have a... very interesting life."
"Oh, trust me, stick around and you'll see some insane stuff."
Bulma laughed. She then took Leo out the back and into the big garage. Inside was a sphere-like ship with the Capsule Corps logo on it. Also, with a huge hole on the side.
"So, since my husband and Goku blew up the ship, my father and I had to build it back from scratch. But unfortunately, we need some extra help; that's where you come in."
Bulma then explained how the ship works. As she was showing him blueprints and how the ship works, Leo started giving his ideas to improve the ship. The two managed to work together.
Ever since he was little, he always enjoyed fixing stuffs, improving them even. So, working with Bulma on an actual spaceship is an amazing experience.
Since then, Leo encountered many unique experiences at Capsule Corps. during his visits. He saw several humans flying around, mostly Bulma's husband and a man in an orange Gi outfit: Vegeta and Goku's their name. According to Bulma, they're aliens called Saiyans and they mostly spend their time fighting. Thus, how the machine broke. Their sparring matches are... extreme. They fight to the point you can't even see them at the naked eye. which is a shame, their fights are always a fun experience to watch. Later, two more beings arrived, a tall blue man with a weird white hairstyle and a purple cat-man: Whis and Beerus their names. Apparently, they're gods.
"I'm sorry, gods?" Leo asked. "You're the world top scientist/Mechanic. How on earth did you married an alien, and are friends with gods?"
Bulma laughed, "It's a long story. Like, a really long story; in fact, I wouldn't even be able to reach the 23rd martial arts tournament in one sit-down. But..." She smiled as she reminisces on the past. "It never would've happened if I haven't met Goku."
"The guy in orange?"
"Yeah, it was when I was out looking for the Dragon Balls and I met your mother. I headed up to the mountains and met this little boy with a monkey tail."
And so, Bulma told an amazing story of how the little boy from the mountains became one of the most powerful martial artists on earth who fought aliens, cyborgs and even gods. She even explained what Dragon Balls are and how they can grant three wishes.
Every little detail amazed Leo, it was like some mythological tale that will excite kids.
"Wow," was all Leo could say. "I just... I can't believe you went through all that."
"Yeah, but I'm sure you experience a part of it."
Leo knows what she's going to say.
"I'm sorry we couldn't-"
"Please don't!" Leo interrupted. "I rather not relive that memory please."
Bulma nodded as she noticed Leo trembling.
Days continued on and Leo was almost finished with the ship. Soon it'll be all set and ready to fly.
"Finally!" Leo yelled. "The Argo is almost set to fly!"
"The Argo?" Bulma asked.
"Ah, sorry. I kind of thought of a name for the ship."
"Well, I like it," She answered. "It wouldn't have been possible without your help. Your idea for the throttles and navigation system was beyond my expectation. So, by my account, it's yours to name."
Leo smiled. "Thank you, Mrs. Briefs"
Bulma flicked at Leo's forehead in annoyance, "And I told you, call me Bulma."
The two took a break when Goku and his family arrived for a visit. Everyone was at the balcony of Bulma's house; Goku and Vegeta are eating a bunch of food; while their sons, Goten and Trunks are with Bulla's, Trunk's little sister, carriage playing with her; while their wives, Chi-chi and Bulma, are having a conversation. Leo is leaning at the edge of the balcony, looking at the garage. Even on break he's always thinking of ways to improve his work.
"So, Leo," Leo's train of thought was interrupted by Chi-chi's voice. "Do you have a girlfriend?"
Leo snickered.
"Please, there's no lady on earth that can handle me."
Author: Ominous...
Bulma laughed, "Please, from what your mom told me about you. You're gonna need the dragon balls to help boost your charms."
Author: Now that I think about it, how come TFS Krillin didn't just use the Dragon Balls to pay back his debt? Oh wait, I remembered. They used it to bring everyone from Namek to Earth. But, why not used it afterwards? He had three years before the androids shows up and- oh crud we're still reading this, my bad.
Leo shrugged. "Maybe I'm a little rusty these couple of months. But, if those two can get married despite their eating habits and hard heads, I have a fighting chance." He said, gesturing at Goku and Vegeta.
Author: Krillin! They need a Senzu Bean!
Bulma and Chi-chi laughs at the comment and Leo shrugged while being glared by Vegeta. Goku was just eating his food, not noticing Leo's comment.
"Still, with all the work at the shop and working at the ship, I had little time for matchmaking. So I'm fine where I am now; but who knows, maybe I'll find the right girl," Leo said. "I mean, it's not like she'll just fall from the sky-"
BOOM
A/N: He didn't even used the Dragon Balls! What the heck?!
Suddenly, a sphere-like pod from space crash landed on the hangar where the Argo was stationed.
Goku and Vegeta protected their wives from the dusts while Goten and Trunks did the same for Bulla. Leo was covering his face with his arm. As the dust settled, Everyone looked at where the hangar is, a big hole on it's roof and the doors where pushed out.
Leo sighed, "Crapbasket."
A/N: Oh he says that too.
Goten ,Trunks and Chi-chi stayed behind to watch over Bulla while Goku,Vegeta, Bulma and Leo ran to the hangar to investigate. Just as Leo thought, as they arrived at the scene, the pod landed exactly where the Argo used to be. Now, it's nothing more but a pile of debris and scrap metal.
"Oh C'mon!" Leo yelled. "I worked so hard on the ship!"
"Pipe down, idiot!" Vegeta yelled. " And get behind us!"
"You feel that too, Vegeta?" Goku asked.
"Yeah, I'm getting a weird energy level from that pod. It's not strong as Broly, but it's not your normal energy either."
The two stand at combat stance when suddenly the pod slowly opened. Bulma and Leo were behind, watching. As the pod opens, a figure walks out of the pod.
A young woman, around Leo's age; with long caramel hair and wearing a white dress walked out of the pod, coughing from the debris.
"A woman?" Vegeta said.
The woman looked ahead and saw the four looking at her.
"Please..." She said. "Help... me..."
She then fainted.
Bulma was the first to react and ran toward her. She picked her up and checked her forehead.
"She's heating up," Bulma said. "Goku, grab a Senzu Bean from Korrin!"
"Are you crazy?!" Vegeta said. "We don't know who she is! For all we know, she could be working for Frieza!"
"We'll worry about that later; Goku, go to Korrin and grab some Senzu Beans!"
Vegeta grunted, but Goku assured him, "Don't worry Vegeta, I'll go get the Senzu beans while you keep an eye on her."
"Hmph, fine."
Goku then proceed to use his instant transmission to Korrin's tower.
"Leo," Bulma ordered, "I need you to help me lift her."
Leo nodded and helped lifted her up. He looks back at the crashed ship and sighed, "All those overnights gone to waste..."
Goku has returned from Korrin's tower and brought Senzu beans. Leo and Bulma set the lady down on a seat at a patio nearby to wait for Goku to return. "I got the Senzu beans, Bulma," Goku said. He gave it to her to heal the wounded lady. Everyone waited for her to wake up.
Suddenly, she wakes up. She started to get fidgety and panicking.
"Hey," Bulma said first. "You're safe now, relax."
The lady relaxed a bit.
"T-thank you," She said. "Where am I?"
"You're at Capsule Corps on Earth," Bulma replied. "You crash landed on one of my garage, saying you need help."
"Ah... I see... I am sorry for that," She responded.
"You should be," Leo interrupted. "Worked on the ship that was in that garage. Took me months to improve it and now I have to start all over."
The lady scoffed.
"Oh I'm so sorry," She said sarcastically. "I should've steered out of the way to- oh wait! I couldn't; I was a big ball of fire hurling from the sky! I'm fine, by the way!"
A/N: Anyone getting an odd sense of Deja Vu?
As the two bickered, Bulma interrupted, "Anyways, you said that you needed help, right?"
the lady nodded and explained. "My name is Calypso, I'm from the planet Titan that is being ruled by the evil Emperor Frieza."
"Hmph," Vegeta scoffed. "Frieza still up to his evil deeds, it seems."
"That's Frieza for you, he'll just never change," Goku also commented.
"My father works for him, I'm afraid," Calypso continues. "He's a scientist that is working on ways to improve the Frieza Force. Right now, he managed to find a way to use personal energy into a healing factor, making the Frieza Force unstoppaple."
"Wait, a healing factor? Like regenerating?" Bulma asked and Calypso nodded. "How?!"
"A long time ago, after they found Frieza's body from the destruction of Namek, My father found DNA samples of the Namekians. Since then, he had spent years on researching their methods of regeneration and finding a way to convert it to the Frieza Force. It was actually how they managed to return Frieza back to his original body after he was revived."
"That explains how he returned," Vegeta said.
"But now, my father has a found a way to make regenerating become permanent to the body. I managed to destroy the data and every copy there is except one."
"So that's why you're here; you took the last copy of that data to safest place there is," Bulma said.
"Sort of... You see, I destroyed every copy of the data on every computer and disc there is. However, the last copy is more complicated..."
"Complicated how?" Leo asked.
"...My father... needed a test subject..."
"...Wait... you don't mean..."
Calypso nodded. "Yes... he used me as his first and only test subject."
A/N: Father of the Year...
TFS Nappa: What about Vegeta?
A/N: Wait, The King; The Prince or TFS?
TFS Nappa: ...Yes.
A/N: God Damn it Nappa.
"That's horrible!" Bulma yelled. "Well don't you worry, everyone here has a grudge with Frieza and his men. You're safe with us."
"Thank you," Calypso said.
"Frieza... isn't that the guy that Goku beat? The one in your stories, Bulma?" Leo asked, unaware that he finally called her by first name.
"Yeah, Frieza is an evil emperor that got killed twice. The only reason he's alive now is because he helped on saving the universe from being destroyed."
"Oh yeah, you told me that story. But if he's evil, why on earth would he save the universe?"
"Mostly so he can rule it himself," Vegeta stated. "The bastard just greedy and only thinks for himself. But don't worry, if he ever returns I'll make sure that he never comes back again."
Calypso sighed.
"Thank you all for healing me, but I need to keep going, the longer I stay, the more danger I bring for all of you."
"I'm afraid that's not going to happen. I looked at your ship earlier, it's damaged and out of fuel. You won't be able to go anywhere for now."
"What?!" Calypso said to Vegeta. "Damn it! I can't stay here. He'll find me!"
"He? Your father?" Leo asked.
"Yeah, since all the data is gone, I'm his only chance to finishing his research. And if Frieza and his men were to use it..."
"Frieza would be unstoppable," Vegeta finishes.
"Then we'll have to fix up your machine then. Until then, you're staying with us," Bulma said with a reassuring smile.
"But-"
"Don't worry, my husband and Goku over there fought Frieza before, they can handle anything."
Calypso was thinking of her alternatives and unfortunately, she can't think of anything. She can't keep running until her ship is fix. So she'll have to accept Bulma's offer.
"Okay, I'll stay for a bit until the ship is fix."
"Good, now we need find you a place to stay. Unfortunately, all my rooms in the main building are piled up with paperworks and blueprints, along with several prototypes," Bulma sighed. "I really need to sort out my mess."
"I'd invite you to mine, but my family and I live pretty far from the city, it'd be a hassle to travel now and then," Goku suggested.
"She can stay in my apartment," Everyone looks at Leo when he spoke. "What? Since she crashed on the hangar, I'm gonna be doing more overtime to work on both ships. So I'll probably be just spending more time here working than at home. Plus it's close by here so she can come and check on the ship every now and then."
Calypso looks at him with confusion, just earlier he was getting all irritating and scolded her for breaking his work; the next, he's offering his apartment for her to stay.
She shrugged, "Fine, that'll work for me, I guess."
"Okay," Bulma spoke. "Now that we got all that figured, let's get you something to eat," She reach out a hand to Calypso. "Come on, we have food back at my house. We'll start working on repairs tomorrow; for now, you need to rest."
After everyone ate, it was late and Leo took Calypso to his apartment. Bulma gave her some change of clothes since her space outfit would be the talk of the town.
"Thank you for giving a place to stay," Calypso said. "But why are you helping me?"
Leo shrugged, "Not much to tell. My mom always tells me to be a gentleman to women, even if they did destroyed your life's work."
"I said I was sorry! It's not like I can steer the thing, it didn't have a steering wheel!"
Leo chuckled, "Relax, I'm only teasing you. You really gotta relax more."
Calypso frowned, "In case you haven't forgotten, I was on the run. From my father no less. So unless you had an experience worse than that, then you can joke about it."
"Sorry," Leo shrugged with an irritating tone, "I was only trying to lighten the mood."
They arrived to his apartment, it was small but roomy. A living room combined next to a kitchen. By the end of it lies a hallway leading to three rooms, a bedroom; an office and the bathroom.
"Bedroom just down the hall, same for the bathroom. Bulma's gonna get you more clothes to change tomorrow, I'll go pick them up since I'll be heading there anyways to get started on fixing up the ship."
"No offense," Calypso stated. "But you really need to clean your place."
Leo scoffed, "Did you forget, I was working overtime at Capsule Corps., I barely have time to come home and invite friends."
Calypso snickered, "You have friends? Please tell me they're just moving furnitures."
"Hey!"
Calypso laughs. Leo groans in annoyance, but he can't deny that he likes her laugh.
Time pass and Calypso is starting to get comfortable at Earth. Especially with Leo.
The two tend to bicker at each other the first couple of weeks. But eventually, Calypso started to be at ease when she notices his good side. Once, he fixed the neighboring building's heater because the elder lady up front couldn't afford a fixer. He also helped out a couple who was having car problems nearby and fixed up the engine. Leo also tends to fix the stuffs that was at his apartment too, the curtains that were uneven, the faucet that was damaged and several other stuffs. He never bothered much since he was rarely home, but now that Calypso is temporary staying, he wanted the apartment to be safe and fixed all that's needed for her. Though he'll deny it was for her comfort.
Calypso noticed these things and couldn't help but be intrigued by his skills and generosity.
"Why do you do that? Working yourself to the bones?"
Leo shrugged, "I just like to keep myself busy, plus I love fixing things."
He continues talking while at his office working on a small computer part that's also part of the ship. He brought it home because Bulma ordered him to take a break and relax at home.
"My mom owns a mechanic shop at Nicky town and I inherited her love to fix things."
Calypso smiled. She likes how he talks about his mother with so much affection and caring.
"What about you?" Leo asked. "Other than your dad, you never talked much about your mother."
"That's because I never met her."
"What?"
"It's always just been me and my father, I never knew who my mother was."
"Oh... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring some bad memories."
Calypso shook her head, "It's okay, tell me more about your mother."
The two were slowly getting along.
As Leo continues on rebuilding the ship and fixing Calypso's, she would come and check up on the progress and noticed that Leo hasn't been eating much. So she would make food from the apartment and bring them to him at the hangar. Bulma notices this.
"I see you're getting comfortable around Leo, I see."
"What?" Calypso said. "I'm only helping with his health. The idiot keep forgetting to eat and will most likely pass out while working."
Bulma was not convinced but she let it slide since she also agrees with her. Leo been eating less as well as sleep too.
"Well anyways, how are you doing so far here in Earth?"
"It's actually been nice, that little flower shop next door offer me a job to keep my busy here. And since our mechanic here has little remorse for his health, I've been learning to cook here so that he can at least eat something."
Bulma smirked, "So he is warming up to you."
"N-no he's not!" Calypso yelled, unable to hide her blush.
The two headed toward the hangar, when reach inside they saw Leo taking a nap by the desk. The two ladies sigh for how right they are.
"C'mon, let's go wake him up," Bulma suggested.
The rarer occurrence was when Leo comes home in time, Calypso was already making diner.
"Oh, you're back?"
"What? You missed me?" Leo smirk.
Calypso scoffed, "No, just annoyed because now I have to make food for two. But, you're lucky I already did."
"W-what?"
"I made enough for both of us. I was gonna send it to you since you spend way too much on ships. You really need to get some rest and take a break."
Leo sigh, "I know, Mrs. Briefs already told me to take a week off, but..."
Calypso walks up to him and gave a stern (but cute) look at him.
"But nothing, you're taking a week off. Bulma is also a engineer too you know."
"But didn't you say you need get as far away as you can from your dad? Or, did you actually gotten attached this devilishly handsome mechanic?"
Calypso frowned, while trying not to show her blush.
"And now you're not getting any food tonight. Or tomorrow."
Leo laughs.
"For your information," Calypso continued. "The entire Frieza Force were ordered never to come to Earth unless permitted by Frieza himself. Plus, I deleted every departure logs on the computer before I left, so he has no idea where I went."
"So what about me? You don't care about my hard work and dedication?"
"An annoying mechanic's health is the least of my concern. So if you want to get smash by your own design, go right ahead. I get to keep the apartment for myself," She said with a smirk.
Leo pouted, "Least you made it lively then I did."
And that was an understatement. Since Calypso started working at that flower shop, she brought home some plants and made the apartment much more comfortable. Not only that, the main living room was clean, shelves were stacked; curtains are open, it's like someone just moved in.
Leo can't deny that he loves the sweet homey surroundings. It actually makes him happy to come home.
After the two ate (Calypso still gave him food), the kept talking about their day. Calypso mostly spent her time by helping at the Flower shop and coming to visit Capsule Corps to check on Leo and the ship (Though she's starting to be more concern on Leo then her ship).
The two talks about how lively it is at Capsule Corps. Old friends coming to visit now and then; two powerful cosmo deities coming for lunch or diner or just a plain snack.
"I still can't believe that Mrs. Briefs actually became friends with gods that can literally destroy our universe."
"Most likely from Goku. From what I read from the FF logs. Goku is one of the last remaining Saiyans in this universe. Raised by you earthlings and became the first to ever achieve the power of a Super Saiyan."
"Oh yeah, she did told me about that. She also told me about these magical orbs called Dragon Balls that can grant you any wish and how they were used to bring those that died."
Calypso replied, "That can't be true! I thought that was just made up from Frieza!"
"Well... I believe I have seen it in action before. A long time ago..."
"Really?" Calypso asked. "What happened?"
Leo had a grim look on his face, "I... I rather not talk about it..."
"But-"
"Forget it!" Leo yelled. "...Sorry... I just... really don't wanna talk about it."
Calypso was worried but nodded and stop asking about it.
Later that night, Calypso heard groaning from the living room. She got up and check and see what's the commotion was. In the living room was Leo, sleeping on the couch. He seems to be having a nightmare.
"No..." He said. "Get away..."
Calypso can see the scared expression on Leo's face and tries to wake him up.
"Leo, wake up. You're having a nightmare."
"Don't... Mom!"
He woke up, rapidly breathing from his slumber. Calypso tries to calm him down and eventually it worked.
"Sorry, Calypso. Just had a nightmare."
She nodded, "Wanna talk about it?"
"No!" He yelled. "I'm good... really..."
"Leo..."
Calypso took his hand gripped tightly while looking at him with a worried look.
"You've been like this ever since we met. Every time you take a nap or sleep on the couch. You been moving and panting. You need to tell me, what's going on?"
Leo smiled, "So you do care about me."
"Leo!"
"Sorry, just wanting to lighten the mood."
He took a breath and answered.
"It was long time ago..."
Flashback
I was little at the time, watching my mom work while I was just doodling on my desk. We suddenly hear screaming outside and people running. By instinct, my mom told me to wait right where I am while she tries to see what's going on. As she looked outside, she had a horrified look on her face and shuts the garage door. She ran to pick me up and ran toward the attic.
"Mom?"
"It's okay, honey. We just need to hide."
"Why?"
My mom didn't answer, she just kept running at the attic.
Suddenly.
BAM
The garage door was burst open from the outside.
A shadow was walking out from the smoke.
An image I can never forget.
My mom put me down and told me to run. I did but she stayed behind and tried to get that thing's attention. I ran toward the attic... and while I ran, I hear my mother screaming in pain.
I couldn't bear it... and then it got quiet. I didn't like that and went back to find her.
What I saw...
I can never forget that face...
At the floor was nothing left but my mom's clothes...
But what I saw standing on top of them was... that thing...
A giant humanoid green bug, with a tail with a sharp needle on it's back as well as wings like a cockroach, and has these terrifying eyes of a monster.
The way his orange beak-like mouth smirked, I just froze there in fear.
He started chuckling sinisterly and walked towards me.
I couldn't move. I was too much in fear and anger. His tail started moving and it was aiming right at me. Just as he was about to attack. The cops arrived and yelled at him to freeze.
"FREEZE!" One of the cops yelled. The monster looked back at them and smiled.
"Ah... fresh meat."
He turned around at the cops while they kept yelling at him to freeze.
Next thing I knew, bullets were flying everywhere. Not because they couldn't aim, but because they didn't put a dent on the monster.
Next thing I knew, I saw the monster grabbing some of the officers and started... draining them. Leaving nothing left but the clothes they were.
The descending screams from the cops was horrifying enough, but watching them get drained was traumatic...
Just as he finished off the cops, he looked back at me. He didn't try to walk toward me, he just stared.
Then he said,
"Not worth the trouble..."
Then moved on.
Leaving me with nothing but the remains of my mother.
Flashback End
Calypso kept quiet the whole story, shocked by it.
"Oh Leo..."
"Afterwards, I was found by survivors of the attack, and then next week, everyone came back. I didn't knew then that it was Bulma's friends that brought everyone back. But..."
Leo gripped tightly at his glass of water he gotten earlier.
"I can never forget that face..."
TFS Cell: Well I am pretty disturbing! Remember the time I drank that guy? That was ****ing weird.
A/N: HOW ARE YOU HERE?!
Calypso hugged Leo.
He was surprised by the gesture.
"I'm so sorry," She said. "It must have been terrifying for a child."
"Yeah... it was..."
Leo was gonna joke about how affectionate she was being. But he couldn't.
He loss all desires to tease from her warmth and loving embrace.
Next thing he knew, he started falling asleep by her arms.
Calypso noticed this, but still stayed by his side. Comforting him to sleep soundly. Eventually, she fell asleep too.
Neither of them will admit that it was best sleep they had ever.
Since then, the two became much closer. Leo started taking more breaks and would sometimes help out at the apartment and clean up or do some chores. Calypso would come and visit him at Capsule Corps and stay with him until he finishes.
Mostly though, she'd hang out with Bulma or would help her mother on gardening.
While that was happening, Bulma asked Leo.
"Looks like you two are getting along."
Leo would've just joke about that comment. But now...
"W-we just gotten used to each other's company. It's no biggie."
Bulma raised an eyebrow, "Oh really?"
Leo started blushing and tried to focus on work.
"I-it doesn't matter! Eventually she's gonna head back to space and disappear forever... So it doesn't matter what I feel!"
"Well," Bulma suggested, "she could always stay here on Earth. I mean, we got people who beaten Frieza even at his final form. So even IF her father came, he won't be a match against my husband and Goku."
Leo laughs, "Well it's not up to me to decide."
Meanwhile, Calypso was dozing off as she looks at the sky. She couldn't help but wonder if she wants to head back to space.
"Would Leo be able to cook? And I doubt he'll keep track on watering the plants. And..."
She stops as she notices that she kept thinking about Leo.
She'll deny it as much as she can. But the truth is, the mechanic has forever pierced his way to her mind.
And most likely, her heart.
She sighs.
"Damn you, Leo Valdez and your adorable face."
Suddenly, Goku just popped out of nowhere right in front of the hangar. Calypso was the first to notice and walked towards him.
"Goku? What are you doing here?" Calypso asked.
He had a serious expression on him, as if a powerful foe is approaching. Then Vegeta just arrived too from his house.
"You sensed it?" He asked.
"Yeah, and it's coming here to Earth," Goku replied.
The two was looking up towards the sky. Calypso follow their point of view and then gone pale at what she saw.
A giant space ship.
With the Frieza Force Logo.
Who arrived to Earth? Is it Frieza, hoping to exact revenge against Goku? Or is it Atlas, Calypso's father, trying find out where she is and regain his data? Are Goku and Vegeta strong enough against this dark force?
Find out next time, on Dragon Ball Super.

Next Time on Dragon Ball Super:
The Sinister Scientist has arrived! Goku and Vegeta vs. Atlas!
Phew! Finally finished! Sorry it took a while. Had no choice but speed up on certain scenes. Part 2 is gonna be a more action-packed part so I can't wait to publish it!
TFS Napppa: And Neither can I!
Author: Shut it Nappa! It's your fault we were late on publishing!
TFS Nappa: Oh c'mon, how would I know that all of our candidates for this was gonna be in the building that may/may not have been my fault.
Author: Ugh... whatever, you're lucky we had to use actors from space. Where are they from anyway.
Nappa: Space England!
Author: God damn it Nappa...
Anyways, we hope you enjoyed Part 1. Part 2 will arrive soon, hopefully before the end of next month. After I finish the DBZ three-shot, I will finish off my Daniel Cooper AU three-shot as well and then afterwards I will continue writing more.
Until next update.
