The ghost started to drift along through the town as it viewed the citizens with slight confusion. She almost thought she was still in the ghost zone for a second, as the people around her had various different appearances than what she was used to seeing in the human world. Yet she quickly dismissed the thought, as the environment was more of what she used to see people live in.

She looked towards a building that was named Aldera Junior High. Perking up at the opportunity to serve kids, she floated her way inside to find a kitchen stocked with plenty of food. While the types of delicacy were a bit different than what she was used to, food was food. She knew her way around the kitchen. And no one was going to stop her from serving. She gave off a smile just as she heard the bell ring and the children's voices start to fill the hall.

Midoriya walked towards the school cafeteria with an extra pep in his step, still living off the experience of flight he got last night. While he thought about what assignment to complete over the weekend, he also thought about going back to the lab to see what other new things he could learn from Danny Phantom.

Speaking of Danny, he has yet to do his own research on what happened to him. As he was busy dealing with his powers to really think about it. He also really needed to get started in cleaning up the lab of all the dust and grime that was littered throughout the room. Maybe he should get a flash drive so that he can watch the videos from home?

Thankfully the weekend was just around the corner, with today being the last day of the school week before he was allowed to get home. Though his mother had to work a bit late at her job today, so maybe he could stay in the lab for a bit longer.

His eyes widened when a sudden cool mist escaped from his mouth as he made his way towards the cafeteria line. Panicking, he quickly slapped a hand over his mouth and looked around to see if anyone noticed. Thankfully everyone seemed blissfully unaware of his presence as usual and continued talking like normal.

'Ok... What on earth was that?!'

Was that another ghost power that he unlocked? He still didn't know the ins and outs of his supposed 'job' that Danny left for him to do. He started to doubt if there was really any reason for him to get powers in the first place when he finally stepped up towards the line to see a yellow-gloved hand hold out a tray for him to eat.

"Hello Deary, hope you have a pleasant lunch.", a sweet voice said.

He was surprised to see a new member of the staff on the team serving food for the students, as he couldn't recall ever seeing this person serving people before today. She was a floating lady that had green skin and white hair, all dressed for the occasion of serving food.

He raised an eyebrow when he saw that his plate consisted mostly of meat, but didn't argue as he hesitantly said his thanks before heading towards his usual empty table. The meal wasn't that bad all things considered, though he wished there was something else on the side that went along with it. He shrugged as continued eating and thought about what he would learn today in the lab.

"Have a good day!", the lunch lady beamed at the next student as they left the lunch line.

She had to admit it was nice to be serving kids again in a cafeteria, even with the different types of meat and vegetables that she had to use. The joyful atmosphere didn't seem to last, as the doors from behind her opened to see another lunch lady in a similar attire blink at her in surprise.

"Excuse me... but who are you."

"Oh, I'm new around here. But you don't have to worry about anything, I've been serving the kids just fine.", the ghost waved off the human's worries with a wave of her gloved hand.

The other server watched as the ghost plopped a thick portion of meat onto the tray, with barely any room for vegetables or milk for the student to use.

"I don't think that the correct portion size for the students. There's too much meat on the plate and not enough vegetables or rice at all."

The ghost's eyes twitched in annoyance at being corrected, as a ferocious green aura started to cover her entire being.

"Are you trying to tell me how to do my job...?"

The server gulped nervously as she stood a couple of steps back, unsure what was going on with her coworker.

"Don't tell me what to do! I've been serving since before you were born!"

The worker gave a frightful scream as she saw the various meats on the counter start to float towards onto the floating green woman, covering every inch of her body until the entire kitchen was free of anything containing beef and poultry. With a giant humanoid meat monster with glowing green looming over her in rage.

"I will show you what it means to serve lunch the correct way!"

Shaking in fear, the women quickly turned around and rushed out of the room in fright. Leaving the monster to roar in rage behind.

Midoriya gasped as a cool mist escaped from his mouth again, with his eyes widening when all of the meat from his classmates' trays started to float in the air. Uneasy murmurs started to form throughout the crowd until all the food suddenly started to shoot off back into the cafeteria kitchen all at once.

It was silent for a moment before a being made entirely out of meat started to burst from the wall in a shout of rage, its glowing green eyes scanning the body of students. With all the students scrambling for the exit as fast as they can.

Bakugo let out a huge grin at the meaty monster, excited at the chance to let out some steam at some villain at their school. Yet before he could do anything, one of his lackeys put a hand on his shoulder to prevent him from running off.

"Bakugo! Stop, we need to get away!"

"Let me go extra!", the blonde growled, "I'm going to show that meaty fuck what happens when they cross the future number one hero."

"The last time was an accident, but what will UA say if they catch you deliberately going after a villain this time?"

Bakugo paused as he considered the words from his lackey, and as much as he hated to admit it: he was right. As much as he wanted to have another attempt at a villain, he didn't want to ruin his chances at attending UA because he just charged in recklessly.

Giving one final snarl, he made his way with the rest of the student body and left the cafeteria.

Meanwhile, Midoriya stood wide-eyed from his table at the monster, surprised at the sudden appearance of the meaty monstrosity here at school. Yet there was something familiar about it the longer he looked at it, like he had seen it somewhere before.

A cool breath of air escaped from his mouth again as he crouched down and went under his table.

Obviously the mist wanted him to do something, but it's not like he could just go out there and head straight into battle. There were out in public, and he still didn't know how to use most of his powers.

"Heroes are always risking their lives for the sake of others, so I can't just say that 'you can become a hero without a quirk'".

Midoriya's hands clenched as he recalled the words that All Might told him on the roof. While what he had wasn't classified as a quirk in the slightest, he now had the power to save others. The chance to become something more than a bystander on the scene.

He narrowed his eyes in determination as he felt the comforting feeling of his ghost powers wash over him as the ring appeared on his torso and split so that one had moved up to his head while the other moved down to his feet. With his emerald eyes turning into a glowing green and hair turning white as snow, the school outfit being replaced with the familiar black and white jumpsuit and the signature 'D' on his chest.

Stepping out from under the table, realized that every student has left the cafeteria by now. Leaving the monster made of meat with himself to deal with. The being made of meat turned to him, its glowing green eyes narrowing in familiarity at the signature jumpsuit on Midoriya.

"It's you... THE PHANTOM!"

Midoriya nearly jumped out of his skin when the creature roared in utter rage and started to make its way towards him. He didn't have much time to think about why the monster knew what he was and what that may do with Danny before a wave of meat was shot from its arm and hurdled towards Midoriya. And he was sent crashing onto several tables as a thick layer of food covered his body.

He's pretty sure this isn't what his gym coach meant when he said that he needed more protein in his diet.

Pushing himself up with a groan, he wondered what his next course of action should be. As he had never been in a real fight before. With him doing nothing all those times Bakugo and his lackeys confronted him about his dreams of being a hero or in the sludge villain incident.

Yet, he wasn't just going to stand there and let this person just trash the school.

The monster had a huge grin on its face as it cackled and stomped its way towards him, crushing numerous tables along the way.

Clenching his fists, he started to hover until he was slightly above the ground. Maybe he didn't need to beat it, he just needed to stall until heroes could arrive.

"You need more meat in your diet.", the monster said with a grin as it lifted its arm again, "You're all skins and bones!"

Midoriya was able to dodge the protein-filled projectiles by leaning to the left, charging his way through the air and towards the villain as fast as he could while dodging attacks left and right. The meaty monster roared in annoyance as Midoriya continued to zig-zag around the room, slowly making his way towards the attacker.

By now Midoriya was going full speed towards the intruder, with both of his fists in front of him to guide his flight. The beast's eyes widened when it saw how close Midoriya was to its chest, and the half-ghost shut his eyes tightly as it plowed through the center.

He felt himself go through layers of meat, along with whoever was controlling the meat in the first place. They both tumbled backward, with the supposed villain being sent towards the wall and Midoriya stopped a couple of feet after a few tumbles. Picking himself off the ground once more, he finally got a look at the attacker for the first time.

His eyes widened when he saw the familiar sight of the lady who had served him his lunch, with her shaking her head a bit before she refocused her piercing red eyes onto the young boy and started to hover above the ground with an intense green aura surrounding her.

"Spoiled brat, you need to learn some manners. Perhaps an extra serving will help you..."

Her ominous aura suddenly died completely, as the pleasant expression she used to serve him his lunch suddenly popped up.

"Cookie?"

Midoriya blinked in confusion at the sudden change in attitude, looking between the offered treat and the floating women with hesitation. Though a part of him was admittedly a bit hungry since he didn't get to eat, he knew he had to deal with her first. So he shook his head to the side slowly to tell her no.

The lady blinked before the fiery green aura from earlier returned with a vengeance, "Then prepare to meat your doom!"

A wave of uncooked meat slammed the half-ghost back, with the force sending him flying towards the wall at a rapid pace.

Closing his eyes, he quickly searched for the feeling of intangibility as he was sent flying back. Going through the cafeteria walls and tumbling his way down a hallway filled with lockers. The boy shakily got back into a fighting stance once again, though not fast enough as a river of uncooked delicacy suddenly covered the lady once more to shape the meaty menace that he saw from earlier.

One of the lady's meat-covered hands grabbed Midoriya by the collar of his jumpsuit and slammed him against the wall with a big grin on her face. Midoriya felt his power drop as he shifted back to his human form, too tired from the constant barrage of attacks to move any longer.

Before the attacker could do anything else, a wooden limb suddenly wrapped around Midoriya's waist and yanked him off to the side, separating him from the vicious cafeteria lady. He was suddenly thrown into the hands of Death Arms as the person who he now realized was Kamui Woods started to pursue the supposed villain.

"Don't worry kid, we got you. You're safe now.", Death Arms said as he started to turn and make his way outside where ambulances were presumably waiting.

Midoriya could only nod as he felt his eyes start to close and sleep start to overtake him, too tired to struggle against a pro hero. The last thing he saw before he lost consciousness was the green lady floating away as fast as she could with the piles of meat following right behind her along with the wooden hero in pursuit.

The lunch lady growled as she continued to float away from the school with the trail of meat right behind her. She knew that person in the school wasn't Danny, yet he had the same powers along with the style of clothes and hair when he transformed.

She threw another wave of meat towards the person giving her chase, a man seemingly made out of wood who had no troubles keeping up with her as he continued to swing with branches. The ghost didn't know why the person behind her was so hard to get rid of, as she never had any problems before whenever she went to the human realm and was trying to escape someone who didn't know about ghosts.

Passing through a wall with her intangibility, she left the discarded food behind along with a wide-eyed hero. After going through several buildings, she could help but grin when she saw where she ended up, a giant supermarket that was no doubt filled with vast quantities of food.

"I'll show them what an extra serving looks like."

Midoriya felt himself slowly open his eyes as he groggily woke up, with his muscles feeling sore and stiff as he lay on the hospital bed. He was alone in the room at the moment, with only his thoughts to keep him occupied before he reached out to his phone that was laid on the table next to him. Glancing at the clock in the room, he realized that a few hours have passed since he had left the school with death arms.

Picking up his phone, he winced at the sight of several missed calls from his mother and quickly dialed her number before putting the phone by his ear. It didn't even go through a full ring before her mother picked up.

"Izuku! Are you ok?! I got a call from the school and the hospital saying that you were injured!"

"I-I'm ok mom. Just a bit sore in the muscles. B-But other than that I'm ok!"

He heard his mother sigh in relief, "Oh Izuku, I hate that you have to go through this again... Right after your encounter with the slime villain too."

A feeling of guilt started to fill the boy's stomach, as it was he who made the choice to stall the villain at the school before the heroes arrived.

"I wish I could be there with you right now, but all the trains had stopped for the heroes to deal with that villain that attacked your school."

The teen blinked in confusion, as he thought the villain was dealt with the moment the heroes arrived on the scene. With a sense of dread, he hesitantly asked his mother what she was talking about.

"Oh don't you know? It's all over the news right now. There is a giant villain made of meat attacking town at the moment."

Fumbling for tv in his hand, he quickly turned on the television that was in the room to the news station and was met with a terrifying sight.

The lady he fought at school was somehow now a giant meat monster, towering over buildings and the people as it continued to roar and attack the heroes on site.

Meanwhile, a lot of the heroes on the ground did their best to keep civilians away from the fight. While some of the heavy hitters like Mirko and Hawks tearing the meat of enormous monster apart. Yet that seems to cause a few problems of its own, as the bits of uncooked meat just formed smaller minions once they hit the ground, attacking the heroes down below.

Midoriya watched as the rabbit hero delivered a massive hit towards the face, revealing the woman from the school as she stumbled backward in the huge meat suit. Reacting quickly, Hawks sent a couple of feathers towards the person in control, most likely trying to separate the person from the meat.

Green eyes widened when he saw that the feathers went through the person instead, with the feathers quickly going back to Hawks before a meaty hand tried to swat the winged hero out of the sky. Midoriya couldn't help but feel like the move the lady used looked familiar... almost like she was a...

The boy's hands started to shake as an unsettling thought occurred. The move looked a lot like the one he used whenever he tried to go intangible. Was it possible that she was a...

"Izuku?"

The boy jumped a bit at his mother's call. Too lost in thought about the sudden hypothesis to realize that she was calling him numerous times.

"Y-Yeah, I'm here mom. J-Just watching the news that you said."

He heard a sigh from the other end of the call, "I'll try to be home as soon as I can. Either stay in the hospital or try to get someone to bring you home safely. Maybe a hero or officer."

Midoriya reassured his mother that he would be safe and ended the call, but he couldn't get his mind clear of the sudden thought that wormed his way into his head. Excluding the meat aspect of her powers, they were very similar to his own now that he went back and recalled his encounter with her in the cafeteria. She was able to float in the air with ease, along with emitting an aura that was downright creepy now that he thought about it.

If controlling meat was the only quirk that she had, why was she able to float and emit frightening auras in the first place? This led to him asking a very important question.

Was the lunch lady a ghost?

After a thorough check-up and deeming him healthy enough to be sent home, the doctors sent him towards the front of the building to wait for someone to be able to take him home. However, the uneasy feeling he had in his stomach overwhelmed him, and he transformed into the ghost form the moment he was checked out and left alone.

Midoriya flew his way towards the lab as fast as he could, desperate to know more about the sudden villain that appeared at his school. With him booting up the computer the moment he entered the lab and scrolling through the numerous files on the computer.

Going through the list of supposed ghosts that were in a folder on his own, his stomach dropped once he saw the familiar face of the lunch lady on the screen. Along with the list of powers that she was able to use.

Immense guilt started to build onto the teen, as he was the one who activated the portal in the first place. Letting the ghost attack anyone that stood in her way while he stayed in the hospital. All Might and Bakugo were right, he should've stayed out of the way when they told him to. Except now he had made everything worse by putting everyone in danger.

Desperately, he searched for anything on the computer that would help him in any way. Scrolling through numerous folders to find something that may be the solution to the problem he caused.

He found a video that was titled 'Ghost hunting 101' and didn't hesitate to click it before nervously waiting for the video to load.

Danny was there in his ghost form waiting with his arms crossed with a slight pout on his face as he looked off to the side.

"Do we have to do it like this?"

"Come on, there's no more ghost left to use this.", Midoriya heard a woman call off from the side, "Besides, it's kind of funny."

Danny grumbled before turning to face the camera with a slightly strained smile.

"If you are watching this, that means that you have decided to take part in our role in protecting the world from ghost attacks. That means attacking, capturing, and sending them back to the ghost zone. Though it should be noted that there are a few who are friendly."

Midoriya nodded nervously, even if the man couldn't see it. He couldn't help but take a quick glance at the swirling green portal behind him. He wondered if there was a way to close that.

"Whenever there is a ghost nearby, you will feel a cool breath of escape from your mouth. So that is when you need to be on guard.", Danny explained as he pointed to his lips.

Midoriya consciously touched his own as a frown formed on his face. So that's what the mist was warning him about.

"After that, it's only a matter of cornering whatever ghost you found into the corner or weakening it enough to use this."

Danny was handed a thermos that was roughly the size of a ruler as he showed it to the camera. It was mostly grey in color with a bit of bright green highlighting. Though he tilted his head a bit in confusion, as he didn't know how that was supposed to help.

"Now it might look like an ordinary thermos, but it actually has the power to capture and contain ghosts until you can send it back into the portal."

Midoriya was a bit reluctant to believe it but didn't put much thought as Danny sighed and hesitantly passed the item back to whoever was standing next to him, stepping a couple of feet back along with a woman dressed in a pair of black jeans and a sweater who looked eager about whatever was about to happen.

Danny looked resigned as the women uncapped the thermos and pointed it towards the half-ghost, releasing a giant blue vortex that sucked up Midoriya's predecessor like a vacuum. Danny tried to get a grip on the floor, but was unsuccessful as his entire being was now contained into the thermos. With the women capping it back on and stepping up to the camera.

"There you have it Phantom Jr. Hopes this helps you out busting ghosts.", her purple eyes suddenly grew mischievous as a grin formed on her face, "Now if you excuse me, I think I will have a little me time."

Midoriya watched as Sam continued to walk off, but not before she put the thermos right up to the camera.

"Sam? You can let me out now..."

"Ha ha. Very funny. I know you are still out there."

...

"...Sam?"

"Sam! Let me out!... Is this because I didn't do the dishes?!"

The video finally ended leaving Midoriya staring at the screen with wide eyes. As he now understood what his job was now when it came to 'Fighting Ghosts'. Though a part of him wondered if he should really do anything. So far, he only seemed to be making everything worse whenever he was on the scene.

Making All Might drop the bottle containing the slime villain.

Getting in the way of heroes who were trying to rescue Kacchan.

Letting a ghost out that was now terrorizing the center of town.

But as he turned his phone on to the nearest channel with the news, and saw the heroes who were struggling against the massive meat monster. He couldn't help but wonder if anyone else could really take down the threat attacking the city, as they didn't even know the full extent of the situation like he did.

Midoriya looked around the dust-covered lab and recalled the words that Danny said to him when he had first turned into a half-ghost. The trust that he had put in him, leaving behind his family legacy and powers for him to use. After all of that... how could he not at least try to make this right?

With glowing green eyes that steeled with resolve and determination, he made his way towards the numerous inventions that were scattered throughout the table. Anything from a pole with an opening at the top, a glowing fishing rod, and a staff among the piles of inventions that were left behind. But after a bit of searching, he finally found it. The thermos that Danny had shown him on the video.

Wiping a bit of the dust off of the container, he opened it to blow some air out from the inside. Making him cough a bit at the sudden debris in the air. After that, he pointed it away from him and hesitantly pressed the button on the side to activate it. A bit disheartened to see that nothing happened.

He didn't know how long any of this stuff has been sitting here, but he hoped that it wasn't broken. As he had no idea of how to repair any of this stuff to begin with. After a few agonizing seconds, he felt the container start to hum and glow blue on the inside. Letting the half-ghost know that it was working.

Midoriya's determined gaze in his eyes didn't falter as a smile slowly grew on his face. Hooking the thermos on his waist, he turned around and exited the lab with his eyes glowing bright green. Now confident in what his new role as the new phantom entailed.

He was going to catch a ghost.

Hawks was starting to get annoyed with this villain.

As easy as it was to slice and dice massive chunks of meat off the giant, the bits that were splattered along the ground just formed into smaller versions of the humanoid delicacy. Causing problems for the heroes and police that were holding civilians back from the scene. It also didn't help that he was losing feathers that would get lodged into the thing either.

"You think this is what they meant when they ask for something 'supersized'?", Mirko quipped as she sent a kick through the giant's knee, making it stumble as it fell on its other knee.

"I'm pretty sure this much meat would kill a guy.", Hawks shouted back as she sent a few more feathers towards the face.

The giant roared as it swiped a long arm horizontally, causing the rabbit hero to jump above the attack while Hawks glided to safety.

"When does backup arrive?!"

"Endeavor is en route, he should be here in about 10 minutes!"

Meanwhile, a certain half-ghost waited on top of a roof that had a decent view of the entire battle. While a part of him was a bit in awe of the number of heroes on the scene, he knew he had to focus on how to deal with the lunch lady. He couldn't risk his identity to be revealed in the face of so many heroes, as being labeled as a vigilante was the least of his problems.

Midoriya waited for an opening, watching as the heroes struggled to defeat the giant monstrosity. As he watched, he got a bit more info from the news on his phone. Apparently, the lady has broken into nearly every grocery store and butcher store in the surrounding area. Making her nearly unstoppable.

He knew that he had to separate the ghost from the heroes and the meat, but he struggled to find a solution. The meat casing that covered the ghost was a tough adversary to face, as he remembers how easy it was to be hit and trapped by the ghost in his school. He also had a bit of a time crunch, as he heard the call out for Endeavor from the two pros on the scene.

He desperately wracked his brain for anything that might be of service for this scenario. Something that he could use to separate the ghost from the meat. It was then that he recalled his encounter with her during school, when he flew straight through her and the two were pushed out from the meat suit. It could probably work, though he needed much more speed for him to go through so many layers of poultry and beef.

Thankfully he was outside at the moment, with plenty of room for him to move around compared to the cafeteria room at his school. Danny did also say that his top speed was about 112 mph, so he knew that speed wasn't going to be an issue. All he needed now was to know where the ghost was so that he knew where to aim.

At that moment, Mirko sent a flying kick onto the face of the giant. Revealing an angry lunch lady who roared in defiance before she covered the area with meat again. Narrowing his eyes in concentration, the teen stepped back as far as he could on the roof before crouching in a running start. Before charging ahead with all of his might and flew straight at the giant head.

Eraserhead wrapped another one of the mini meat monsters that were scattered across the ground and threw it against another that was sneaking up behind him. He didn't want to admit it, but the situation was getting more dire the longer it went on.

He was already getting tired of having to constantly fling minions away from civilians, and it didn't help that once they were destroyed, they went right back towards the giant menace. So far they were doing a decent job here at the bottom, with Eraserhead, Death Arms, Kamui Woods, and Backdraft keeping the minions at bay for the time being.

He was called to cancel the quirk of the villain after nothing was changed with Hawks and Mirko, but everyone was shocked to find out that his quirk didn't work on them. Which didn't make much sense, since they were sure that it was an emitter-based quirk when Kamui Woods had described the villain to the others. Which raised the question of what were they dealing with?

His tired eyes widened under his goggles when he saw the giant grab Mirko in its humongous hand, with the rabbit hero struggling to escape. Cursing under his breath, he rushed forward to try to help. Only to pause as more minions stood in his way. The heroes who were keeping the giant at bay were starting to get tired, and he could see that Hawks only had two small wings on his back.

"See why you people need extra servings?!", the giant meat monster roared.

"What about me?!"

The head of meat turned to the right in surprise at the sudden call, when a black and white blur shot through the head like a bullet. Pushing whoever was inside out of the giant meat suit before they both disappeared off to the side. The giant's form and minions quickly fell apart, dropping the hero down as she landed gracefully on her feet along with the thousand's pounds of meat.

The crowd cheered behind him, glad that the villain had been defeated. Yet the underground couldn't help but think where did the women who was controlling the meat landed. And based on the way the others heroes were looking at him, they were thinking of the same thing.

"Go Eraserhead.", Kamui Woods said to him, "We will deal with the press and crowd, just keep us updated."

He nodded before booking it to where he saw the two head off, maybe then he will be able to get some answers.

Midoriya gritted his teeth as he continued to push the ghost away from the heroes, all until they both tumbled along the side of an empty road. The teen was a bit thankful that the heroes were able to evacuate any nearby areas for the time being.

There were still chunks of meat on them both from when he pushed through her meat suit, as they both slowly got up from to a standing position and narrowed their eyes onto one another.

"Oh? Come back for seconds? I got plenty enough for everyone.", the ghost said sweetly.

Midoriya wasn't fooled by her sweet demeanor, as he already saw it when they first encountered each other in the school. Though he supposed the polite thing would be to answer back, unfortunately he wasn't the best at making comebacks.

"No thanks... I'm... on a diet.", he said a bit awkwardly.

...

Totally nailed it.

The ghost's aura then changed as she once again started to glow with a menacing green as her eyes deepened red. "Then PERISH!"

There was only enough meat to coat the right side of her body, but it was still enough to create a massive arm that tried to swat Midoriya. Though he was ready for it, taking to the sky with his natural ghostly flight and dodging the attack with ease.

Flight was becoming easier and easier the more he used it, allowing him to dodge the attacks from the apparition with ease. However, he still has never been in a fight before, so he was still slightly worried about what he should do next as he started to close in. What would Danny do in this scenario? What would All Might do? What would a hero do?

That got him thinking about his hero notebooks for a second, and all the information he got from them over the years. While it is true that he was untrained, he did see pro heroes perform numerous moves when they took down villains. Maybe some of them could be of use here?

He thought of a certain blonde at school with an explosive disposition and reared his right arm back before throwing a right hook on the ghost. Making her stumbled back a couple of meters as the boy clutched his hand in slight pain, unused to throwing punches to others.

Though the enemy seemed to regain her bearings quickly, grabbing a hold of Midoriya by the leg and throwing him into the nearest building. Making him crash through a window in a convivence store with a yelp.

Groaning, he stood up to see her slowly floating towards him with the giant arm about to take another swing. Scrambling his thoughts as he tried to figure out another way to hit her, he then thought of the move Mt. Lady used when she took town that giant villain at the train station.

Quickly getting back up on his feet, he charged at her once again in the air before shifting himself so that his feet were now facing towards the ghost. Slamming into her with enough force to send them both back into the main stretch of road. With both of them narrowing their eyes again on each other.

"Lunch is sacred... Lunch has rules...", the ghost droned before giving out a shout as her aura once again flared to life, "Lunch needs to be served!"

Feeling something inside of him start to stir, Midoriya gritted his teeth as he picked himself up from the ground. He needed to end it right here and now before anyone else got caught up in her conquest to serve people. With his eyes and his fists glowing with a bright green aura, he quickly shot forward until he was once again in front of her rearing a fist back.

"I told you, I was on a diet!"

Unknowingly, he got into a stance that he saw numerous times as a kid, one that was used to defeat villains of any shape or size. One that belonged to his idol, All Might.

"Phantom... SMASH!"

The teen threw his glowing fist towards the ghost's chest, the hit sending her flying back towards the empty road with ease. Midoriya felt drained, as the exhaustion he felt earlier in the hospital started to catch up with him. After a few deep breaths of air to clear his head, Midoriya saw that the ghost struggled to get back up again and knew it was time to use the thermos.

Uncapping the thermos, he pointed the open end towards the spirit and pressed the button, feeling the distinct hum of the inside before a giant beam of light started to shoot out towards the weakened ghost.

The ghost tried to get a grip onto the ground to prevent being sucked in, but the force of the thermos proved too strong as she slowly started to head towards Midoriya.

"This isn't the last you see of me young man...", the ghost started ominously as she started to get sucked into the thermos, "There is a whole zone of ghosts waiting for their chance for vengeance! I will return!"

The scream of revenge echoed as the suction and the bright blue light finally stopped, letting the teen relax his stance.

"Then I will be there to stop them.", Midoriya said with determination as he capped off the thermos. Midoriya then let out a big sigh, finally feeling the exhaustion that the fight entailed on his body. Now all he had to do was go back to the lab and release it back into that ghost zone that Danny was talking about.

Yet before he could do anything, something from behind him suddenly wrapped around his arm just as he hooked the thermos back onto his waist. The material was cloth-like and dark gray, yet it was hard enough to wrap around his arm several times. Taking a small peek behind, he saw that a man was nearly dressed in black along with a pair of yellow goggles that blocked his eyes. The gray scarf that was wrapped around his neck had shot out and was the thing that held Midoriya in place. The teen also noticed that his hair happened to be floating like it was underwater.

"Who are you?", Midoriya heard the man call out, "And where did the villain go?"

Midoriya panicked, as he had no doubt that this was a pro hero that had somehow managed to catch up to him. He knew that the man couldn't see his face by the way the two were standing, but he didn't want to take any chances.

Hearing the man cry out in surprise as he turned intangible, he quickly started to fly off as fast as he could to try to lose the hero giving chase. Unfortunately, he couldn't fly as fast as he usually could, with the fatigue of the battle catching up to him.

The hero didn't seem to have any troubles catching up with the half-ghost, as he swung between buildings trying to catch up. All Midoriya knew was that he couldn't be found out by any means necessary, to prevent anyone from wondering how a quirkless kid got powers.

He tried to fly away from the scene as best as he could, but he could feel himself slowing down as he started to lower onto the ground. Now doubt reaching the limits of his stamina. Midoriya could hear the person following him start to near as he started to dart his way in between buildings and alleys. He couldn't fly any longer as he crashed in an alley, knocking several cans that were there and making a bunch of noise.

He realized it was a dead-end, and felt his heart start to hammer due to his exhaustion and panic at being caught. He heard the hero's footsteps start to near, as he slowly turned around to face him and saw the hero who was presumably giving him chase arrive at the end of the alley. Before making his way slowly towards him with a slow and steady pace as he took glances around the trashed alley.

Midoriya met his gaze for a second and stilled his breathing while his eyes shut tightly at being caught. He tried not to make a sound as a feeling of frustration and sadness washed over him. This was it. He only had his powers about a day and he already got caught by a hero. He failed. He failed Danny. Now they were going to take him in for questioning. Like how he got his powers and caught the person that he now knows was a ghost in a thermos.

"Eraserhead, find anything?"

It was quiet for a moment, but Midoriya didn't dare open his eyes at the hero who was no doubt looking at him with disapproval.

"Negative. Whoever was at the scene has escaped. I'm making my way back now."

Midoriya's eyes now shot wide open as he saw the disheveled pro hero turn around and exit the alley, leaving the teen grasping at straws at what happened. He was sure that their eyes had met when he was cornered.

It was only when he looked at his arm that he got his answer. When he glanced down at his arm, he saw that he could now see through his arm. This was a different feeling than the intangible ability that he had practiced the day before. It was only after thinking about the events that occurred that gave him an idea of what happened.

Midoriya had turned invisible.

The panic he felt of not wanting to be found had unconsciously activated the ability that Danny had shown him in the initiation video. And while he was grateful for the outcome, he wished it didn't have to be such a close call.

Midoriya stayed in that position wide-eyed for a couple of minutes before his heart was finally able to settle down to an even level. With him scrambling back to his feet with the thermos in hand and flying his way back to the lab as quickly as he could in his tired state to put the ghost back into the ghost zone.
