Hey fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail, re-told, and we are back with the grand magic games as the first day continues as the other participating teams get ready for their matches, but a dark secret lies behind the games. as a mysterious knight watches from afar, have our heroes found themselves in other situations beyond their control, find out now on a fairy tail re-told
opening note: topic ships: a lot of you are posting in the comments about ships and as I said when I started the Edolas arc I'm not going to dive too deep into them at the moment the ship that is currently under focus will probably be Gray and Juvia as that an arc or something but for right now no confirmed ship but as with any media ya'll are allowed to ship as you please and when or if I finish this story then I will start with the whole confronting certain ships thing
I also want to state that I'm not denying or confirming any ships so it's all fair game besides who knows what the future hold for or characters.
Last time on a fairy tail re-told
Natsu: what could Raven tail be up to
Wendy: your guess is as good as mine

Wendy: you got it; I'll keep my eyes peeled
Natsu: right
Lucy lay on the bed, her face red as Wendy shook her head "this is so odd," Wendy muttered they had overseen Lucy's training themselves, and this is the first time something like this has happened up to the games Lucy had been summoning two spirits with little to no side effects. now all of a sudden, she was getting exhausted, and feverish.
"What happened," Lucy asked.
"You passed out," Wendy told her "You feeling okay," she asked, "did Flare do something to you."
"Not that I remember," Lucy said, "but near the end," Lucy stopped catching her breath "after I summoned Loke and Capricorn, I felt exhausted." shaking her head, "man," Lucy groaned out.
"Hey now," Wendy said, "I'll figure this out," she said, "don't worry."
"it's Magic Deficiency Disease," a voice called, making Wendy jump a bit as she turned to see Porlyusica standing at the door.
"Porlyusica," Wendy asked, "what are you doing here."
"Something wrong with me cheering you on," she asked as Wendy shook her head as she looked over Lucy. "I noticed the signs during her fight earlier and came to offer my help," she said "no offense, my dear, but this might be a little over your head," she said, making Wendy puff her cheek in anger. "This disease can cause a wizard to fall ill from the rapid loss of their Magic Power, which can either be from using a massive amount all at once or having it drained," she said, "she'll recover with bed rest, but she might have to sit out tomorrow."
"If you say so," Wendy said
"You should get back," Porlyusica said, "just in case they need the team to handle something else,"
Wendy looked between her and Lucy for a moment before nodding her head, leaving the two only as Lucy shifted in her bed "man," Lucy groaned. "I trained so hard, and I'm already out," she muttered.
"don't think about too much," she said "you'll be up and about in no time," Porlyusica said as she turned to start working "you've grown since we've first met," she said, "when I watched you fight, I had a hard time believing that you were that same girl from seven years ago" she turned to Lucy smiling at her "so don't let this incident get you down Lucy," she told her "you're going to be fine" she saw the smile grow on Lucy's face as she turned to get some rest.
"Thank you, Porlyusica."
Bad Omen
"So," Erza asked as Wendy walked back to their spot, "how is Lucy," she asked
"Porlyusica said she had Magic Deficiency Disease," Wendy told her, "Said she'll be fine with some bed rest," Wendy said much to their relief, "so how are the games going."
"The next match started while you were checking up, Lucy," Natsu told her. as they looked into the arena where the contestants were in the middle of a colossal battle.
"it's only the first day of the grand magic games, and we're already to an intense rivalry," Lola shouted "team trimens Ren Akatsuki versus the Nymphs fives Araña Webb." the crowd cheered as the two had a face-off "will the playboy get tangled up."

"you're stronger than expected," Ren said, "but you're still not going to beat me."
"I thought a Pegasus man would object to attacking a lady," Araña said, "guess I was wrong."
"These two are tuff," Lola said, "just look at that determination."
"This is going to be a great match," Yajima added.
"Come on, Ren," Jenny called "get the win for the Trimens and make Blue Pegasus proud," she shouted. "I know Sherry is in the crowds rooting for you," she said, making the girl in question turns a deep shade of red as the crowd started to awe about the couple making Ren get mad.
"Hey," he called only to be attacked by Araña
"You left yourself wide open," she shouted
"Come on, Ren," Sherry called, "get out there and kick her butt."
"Hey, stop that," Ooba shouted at her "all we need is one of our own rooting for the enemy," she cried.
"Calm down, old hag," another member said, "they are engaged after all."
"Stop that," she shouted, "or I'll spin you," she shouted
"you're already spinning me."
"we're not engaged," Ren shouted, "she just won't leave me alone," he screamed as he got out of the attack "you just won't go away," he called as he dodged some more attacks "that said, when you're not around, I just don't feel like myself" he admitted as he looked back at Araña "as long as she's watching I can't make a fool of myself, I refuse" he shouted. "{Aerial Phose}" he called as a large wave of air blew away the webs, knocking her down.
"You go, baby," Sherry called.
"damn," Araña said "shouldn't have let my guard down"
"And the winner is Ren Akatsuki," Lola called, "and the trimens earn themselves another five points," he said
"His skills have improved over the past seven years," Erza said
"You don't think he's stronger than Ichiya," Natsu muttered
"Please, Natsu," Erza said, "don't forget Ichiya is called the ace of Blue Pegasus," Erza told him "Now, he might be a babbling idiot, but that doesn't mean he isn't a skilled wizard," she told him
"She has a point," Wendy said
"Man," Natsu said, "you'd never know that just by looking at him."
"that's fair," both women told him as they looked over to where the man was standing.
"Hey, does that bunny suit creep you out," Erza asked
"Thank goodness, it's, not just me," Wendy moaned as Natsu nodded along with her
"And now let's get ready for the third match," Lola called "going to test Quatro hound's Warcry versus the Sabertooth's tigers Orga Nanagear" he called as the two wizards entered the arena
"Show that man what it means to be wild," Rocker shouted
"Hey, its, Warcry," Sting said "man, this is going to be good," he smiled "have you seen his magic."
"Yes," Rufus said, "I have committed it to memory."
"I don't care," Rogue said, standing up, leaving behind his two confused teammates, who only shrugged at his outburst 'the only wizard I care about is you, Gajeel.'
"So, who do you think is going to win, Lector" Frosh asked
"What type of question is that," Lector asked "obviously, Orga is going to win this," he said, "the fight won't even be that long."
tears started to fill Warcry's eyes as he began to cry, shocking everyone in the area as he ran around with tears on his face "this is his signature tear magic."
"Never heard of that magic," Yajima said, "but it is unique. I'll give them that"
"Wow," Natsu muttered, "he's bawling."
"That he is," Erza said in complete awe
as Warcry charged at Ogra, a single bolt of black lighting stuck him sending him to the ground, instantly knocking him down, shocking everyone in the area. "Lighting, huh," Laxus muttered. He had to admit the show of strength impressed him. It was rare for him to meet another user of lighting magic though this one was unique. It was black in color. He looked over to see that Natsu and Wendy had a brief look of horror before calming themselves down "interesting."
"He used lighting," Lily muttered in fear
"He took him out in one blow."
"And just like that, the fight is over," Lola called as Orga started to walk off the arena, "and the winner is Orga Nanagear."
"Hey Ogra, what the rush," Sting shouted, "you could have drawn that out a bit," he laughed "ya know for the fans," Orga let out a huff.
"Fine then, I'll sing a song," he growled as he walked back "hand me the mic," he screamed as Mato brought him a mic. in which he started to sing, shocking everyone in the arena "yeah, Sabertooth is the best" he shouted.
"I must admit, "Mavis said as Orga finished his song, "Sabertooth is skilled"
"You think they can beat them," Romeo asked. "I hate to admit it, but they're kinda awesome."
"we'll have to see," Mavis said,
"And now for the last match," Lola said
"So, it's Dragon tail vs. the Ferrous Cinco." Yajima said, "seeing as they're the only two that haven't completed yet."
"And today we are having the top man himself, Lola said, " and member of the ten-wizard saint Jura Neekis" he screamed as the crowd let out a loud cheered "versus the mysterious Mystogen," he called.
"Mystogen," someone asked, "who's that."
"One of the mysterious wizards from a while back," someone answered. "I heard that he took on the entire phantom lord guild by himself.
"Good luck, Jura," Sherria said
"This match is as good as ours," Yuka said
"I didn't think Jura would be so popular," Levy said
"Well yeah," Jet told her, "He is one of the ten wizard saints." he shook his head, "not to mention he's probably as strong as Makarov."
"Looks like lucks not on your side," Laxus said
"We didn't think you'd go in on the first day," Mira said, "and against Jura of all people."
"Is he really that strong?" Gajeel asked
"Yeah," Mira said, "I doubt even Mystogen would stand a good chance against him, and I'm, not too sure about if it was the three of us."
"don't worry," Jellal said. "I can handle this" he walked away, thinking of what Juvia was going through right now. According to Gajeel, she had a mini panic attack due to Eve's snow, and no one knew what was wrong with Gray. However, he connected it to whatever Raven tail was doing to him during the earlier event and he remembered seeing Rufus talking to him and Lucy's current condition.
"I know why all of you are fighting so hard," Jura said, "but the old hag would throw a fit if I let you win" he smiled, "so I'm going at you with everything I got"
"I intend to do the same," Jellal responded using Mystogens voice. 'I never intended to end up in the ring as a competitor, but know I have a chance to help my friends, he thought to himself, 'I won't let them down.'
"Are we sure we can trust him?" Cosmos asked, "I mean, I understand the reason, but what if some ploy or something."
"I understand your concern," Makarov said, "and well he such a lost soul," Makarov admitted, "looking for a sense of purpose, I will give him my trust" he looked at her. "I want to see this through to end if there is a chance, we can stop Zeref," Makarov told her.
"Then we have to take it," she finished "all right," she leaned over, "though I am a bit interested, he was one of the ten wizard saints a while back," she smiled "we hardly ever get to duke it out," she laughed a bit "so this will be interesting."
"Jellal is going in already," Ultear shouted in shock
"Is that bad" Rosello asked
"Will he get caught," Meredy asked, "he could blow the entire operation?"
"No, he's too smart for that," Ultear said, "unless he tries to show off for Erza."
"He wouldn't do that," Meredy said, only for Ultear to raise an eyebrow at her "hopefully," they looked at the orb, "oh boy."
"good luck Jellal" Rosello shouted "you can win"

"This might be my only chance," Jellal said " I have to go at him with everything got," he said. "I need to beat Jura," he shouted as he rushed the man who moved his arm, making some stone pillars came out of the ground as Mystogen jumped out of the way, going up as he dodged the attack, his staves going into the ground around Jura "{Five Layered Magic Circle: Sacred Song}" he screamed as large beam struck Jura.
"Jura," Sherria screamed
"don't worry," Lyon said. "Jura will be fine."
"But isn't Mystogen one of those three children's guys," she asked, "and I heard they are on par with wizard saints."
"That might be true," Lyon said, "but Jura is on a whole other level," he said as rock fast approached Jellal who waved his hand, making the rock turn soft and fall apart as he jumped over the attack removing two of his staff from the ground.
"He mastered Mystogens magic," Laxus asked.
"In a way," Mira said, "though he improved it a bit," she admitted, "using his elemental magic along with his normal magic."
"I see," Laxus said
"Now," Jellal shouted "{Three Layered Magic Circle: Mirror Water}" he called as the attack turned around, going back to Jura.
"He defeated it," Natsu screamed as Jura jumped out of the way, redirecting the attack back at Jellal. knocking him down, creating a large explosion
"it's obvious why Jura is counted among the ten wizard saints," Lola called "this rocks," he screamed as the crowd gave a loud cheer.
"that's the way, Jura," Ooba shouted, "show that baby why you're the strongest member of our guild."
"I must admit," Jellal said as he materialized in front of Jura, "Natsu was right. You are innovative with your magic."

"I see," Jura said, "so you turned intangible to avoid the attack" he smiled "let us continue," Jellal rushed Jura, who smiled "{Iron rock wall}" he screamed as Jella jumped back, turning to mist again going around Jura as he made the wall come apart sending it at him landing a hit on him sending him to the ground as he jumped up.
"Now," he screamed, "fire, air, water, and earth," he shouted as the staff made a small circle above Jura, making him look up. "{Grand: Zero}" he screamed as the elements combined as Jura smirked.
"{Rock Mountain}" he screamed as the attack landed, tanking the blast as smoke and dust went up in the air it even blew off Lola's wig as he fell backward.
"Now these are two wizards that know what they're doing," Yajima said
"Man, what a way to end the day," Jenny replied
"My toupee," Lola cried "now it's gone forever," he cried
'I figured this was the case," Jura thought to himself 'it would seem that fairy tail has more connections than they like to admit," he said. He looked at Mavis, who had been watching the match not moving once "what could have brought this about, I wonder,' he asked himself

'I have to win this,' Jellal shouted. The sky turned dark. He took his primary staff and slammed it into the ground, shocking Jura as the ground started to shake, scaring everyone in the arena.
"What's going on."
"What kind of spell is this" someone asked
"What is he doing," Ultear asked "he better not be using that spell," she screamed "this is why I hate men," she shouted, "They can't control their ridiculous ego's"
"What is she going on about" Rosello
"I have no idea," Meredy told her as Ultear looked at her with an evil glare in her eyes.
"What are you" Jura was stopped when the dark sky vanished. Looking down, he saw a magic circle underneath him "what," he asked.
"{Ground Shattering Wave}" Jellal shouted as a purple beam shot from the ground.
"I see," Yajima said, "he used an Illusion to by himself some time to cast the spell."
"Wow, that was pretty clever," Jenny admitted. Four stone pillars arose from the ground as Jura smiled. He had to admit that was a clever tactic. "And Jura is still standing," she shouted "what kind of wizards are these"
"He had me going for a minute there," Makarov admitted, "sometimes I forget Mystogen could use Illusion magic."
"Yes," Mavis said, "it is something we tend to forget." A bell went off as Mato appeared in front of the two wizards
"And that's the match," he called as the crowd gave a loud cheer Jellal felt a twinge in his mouth. He looked over to see a band on his arm "thank you, contestants.
"Well, you almost had him," Mira said
"Jura is a lot tougher than I thought," Laxus said, "he might be stronger than my grandpa."
"Sorry," Jella muttered.
"You gave it your best shot," Gajeel told him "We'll do better it's only the first day."
"and with that, games have come to a close," Lola said as the scoreboard appeared with Sabertooth tigers in the lead with twenty-one, Raven tail in second place with a total of eighteen points, Ferrous Cinco in third place with sixteen points, the trimens in fourth place with fourteen points, Nymph five in fifth place ten points, Quatro hound in sixth place with eight points, Dragon tail in seventh place with six points, and fairy tail in last place with five points. "Stay tuned folks cause it's only the first day, and who knows what the second day will bring" he smiled.
"We only got five points," Wendy muttered, "and we're in dead last."
"don't worry," Natsu said "we got this," he smiled "last place is the perfect place to have a perfect comeback."
"If you say so," Erza said smiling, "come on, let's go check in on Lucy and Gray."
'The first day of the grand magic games was off to a bad start, we were beaten down, but we weren't out just yet, but little did we know something was lying in the shadows'
The first day has come to a close, and our heroes don't look too good. Winning the games is starting to seem to look like a hopeful dream. Will, our heroes, be able to turn this around, or will they be forced to join a guild once and for all, find out next time on a fairy tail re-told
