Chapter 2: Unconventional

The recommendation test, was very easy. A simple obstacle course and then a multiple-choice test.

Ten months had passed since that, and he and Sayaka were entering UA campus, Sayaka skipping next to him. "Hey, in what class did you end in?"

Izuku hummed "1-B. And you?"

"1-G! You will pick me up for lunch, right?"

Izuku smiled and nodded "I will."

As they parted ways, he made his way to class 1-B. He opened the door and sat on the front. No one had arrived yet. He waited when a known face entered.

"Kendo." Izuku greeted and Itsuka blinked at him.

"Didn't expect you to be here." She said "I was pretty sure you were busy being the Fang of Metsudo."

Izuku nodded "I made time."

Itsuka nodded and smiled "Well, hope you can give me my rematch now."

Izuku gave her a dry look "You lost already. So, my answer is no."

Itsuka frowned "That's what a rematch is for."

Izuku sighed "When you give me an interesting prize, then I will consider it."

*Teacher's Longue*

Sekijiro Kan frowned seeing one of his students. Izuku Midoriya.

The Fang of Metsudo... he fought Agito once, and he lost badly, and while he can imagine that his successor is strong... how strong can he be? Stronger than Agito? No way.

But the title of Fang of Metsudo is no joke. How strong is he really? The recommendation test doesn't give a clear result of one ability like the normal one.

He shook his head and went to his class. He will figure out sooner than later how strong he is.

He just prays he is in the good side.

*Lunch Break*

"What do you mean you didn't make any friends?!" Sayaka interrogated Izuku that raised an eyebrow.

"That I didn't make any friends." Izuku answered and Sayaka pouted.

"I know that already! But why?"

Izuku shrugged as they sat down on a table "I am not interested in any of them, and so far, neither are them in me."

Sayaka opened her mouth when one of his classmates went to them "Yo Izuku! Do you mind if we join you?" Setsuna Tokage asked and before being denied sat down.

Togaru Kamakiri followed and huffed but sat down anyways.

Sayaka grinned "See! You got friends!"

Izuku gave her a dry look "I-"

"Tch, I just want to beat him." Togaru said and Izuku raised an eye brow "I know how strong the Fang of Metsudo is, and I will be stronger than him."

"Good luck then." Izuku answered, not really caring as he ate his lunch. In the other hand, Setsuna and Sayaka were talking.

"So you two are dating!?"

"Hm! I know he is scary looking, but my Izu-Bear is a softie really!"

"So, will you fight me!?"

"No."

"Are you a coward or something?"

"Do you think you will give a good fight or something like that?"

And that was lunch in a nutshell.

The rest of the day went normal. Knowing the teachers, the students talking, Setsuna bothering him and Togaru being a real bother.

"If I fight you," Izuku started "Will you shut up?"

Togaru grinned and nodded "In part yeah, but expect me to brag that I beat the fang."

Izuku huffed "After class, we go to a gym to spar."

"Oh! Can I go too!" Setsuna butted in.

"Whatever."

Next day, Togaru had a visible black eye. When asked, he fell. When asked Setsuna.

"Oh, Izuku knocked him out in one punch. It was really fast and sad at the same time."

"Shut up ya lizard!"

"I take that as a compliment!" Setsuna shouted back.

Itsuka approached Izuku who was sat on his desk "So, if I bother you enough, you will fight me again?"

"I already told you, make the fight interesting with a good prize and then, I will accept." Izuku said, not even looking at her and she nodded.

"Okay, I can accept that. In what are you interested?"

"Right now, in nothing special. Use your imagination, I guess."
