Tai had been happy to meet Yang's girlfriend's parents properly over dinner; they had only met in passing once and it was it was a great opportunity to visit Menagerie! With how close Yang and Blake were since their early days at Beacon and continuing so after graduation, it wouldn't surprise Tai if they would end up getting married in the future so now was a good a time as any to meet the possible extended family.

But what perhaps amazed Tai even more was the cuisine! As someone who was used to cook his own (and his daughters') meals the Menagerie kitchen was a whole new world of exciting opportunities and it didn't take long before he swapped recipes with the Belladonnas.

For the rest of the evening the adults got along really well which was fortunate when the children decided to head out for the evening and promptly left the adults alone.

It was shortly after that the Belladonnas began to act a bit more…forward.

The answer had earned him an interesting reaction from the married couple, but once again Taiyang didn't dwell on it too much. A lot of people wondered how a single dad had raised two children on his own.

"That's very much our motto in this house." Kali was smiling, but the kind expression did not meet the smoulder in her eyes. "Try everything once and see where that takes you."

Tai was glad that he hadn't declined the offer; the hot-spring was natural, but the elegant Menagerie-style walls and floor that had been built around it was absolutely stunning and created the perfect, private bathhouse.
