Third-person POV two months later New Ephyra capital of the empire of Sera
New Ephyra had sprung up and grown over the last two months and already it was massive in size and held the population in safety behind the walls four COG Rail Guns were spread across the walls with hundreds of other kinds of weapon emplacements. The city itself had three clusters of heavy AA guns and two Rail Guns. Last two weeks the city experienced a flood of new people from several settlements increasing the population by a few hundred. Sten and the other gears had attacked several bandit strongholds in the area, killing them to the last man. There were also several heroes who were here as well like Victor Hoffman, Michael Barrick, Sofia Hendrik, Alexandra Brand, Anthony Carmine, Benjamin Carmine, Clayton Carmine, Elizabeth Carmine was was their sister instead of niece, Samantha Byrne, Tai Kaliso, Augustus Cole, Samantha Byrne, Damon S. Baird, Bernadette Mataki, Adam Jonathon Fenix head of RND, Marcus Michael Fenix, Anya Stroud, Jayson Stratton, Richard Prescott, Alicia Valera, Oscar Diaz, Gabriel Diaz, Dizzy Wallin, Minh Young Kim, Dominic Santiago.
The Grimm attacked New Ephyra with a hundred thousand in mass. The Grimm siege lasted for a whole day before the last Grimm fell. The 120 gears that fell to the Grimm were immortalized in the hall of the fallen. Lieutenant Damion Saww at age 20 an Onyx Guard in charge of 1st onyx guard company or HELLWALKER company. Two levels of technology were gained by the gears and with it more power to help expand their territory. They had 6 A-Jak Cutters,4 Destroyers (United Nations Space Alliance Destroyers from COD-IW with some upgrades) 2 Assault Airships(COD-AW), and two Admiral-class Space Warfare Carrier, and 60 Jackal Fighter Jets, 55 R-7 Skelters, and 35 R-16 Skelters. The King Ravens were upgraded with better armor,weapons and equipment and an increase in size. The new FT101 Main Battle Tank, T-740 Hovertank, T-600 Titan, the Mammoth tank. The armor of the gears had been upgraded to improve the odds of survival and advantages along with the weapons and other gear they had. They were on the Dragon-Shaped Continent, they were close to Vacuo though and they had quite a bit of bandit problems here. They also had more grimm problems too. A few days ago he earned a Reward gift pack that would give him 500,000 civilians with 30,000 NCOG Marines, 30,000 GEARS, 12,000 COG Commandos, 7,000 Onyx Guards, 120,000 Shepherds, 40,000 Deadeyes, 20,000 Shock-Bots, 20,000 Trackers, 19,000 Shock Trackers, 6,000 Watchers, 12,000 Guardian DeeBees, 12,000 Sentinel DeeBees, 60,000 DR-1's, 300 Kestrels, 40 Condors, 23 Vultures, 213 King Ravens, 21 COG Mammoths, 44 Mega Mechs, 123 Minotaurs, 45 Armadillos, 44 COG Tanks, 55 Centaurs, 33 Pariah Tanks, 10 Iowa-class battleships and Halvo Bay as a port city. He had used the gift pack and from there they started to clear out several grimm areas they were in massive numbers they succeeded. There were several small settlements that had popped up each having about 150 people to 350. The last grimm horde they dealt with was almost 50,000, not as big as what they had to deal with before but it was growing to be annoying. Adam Fenix has launched the first Hammer of Dawn Satellite into space successfully and is ready for use and with several more soon to be put up there as well. The dragon continent was not like how cannon said or how little was said about it there are people here who well the kingdoms are quick to abandon people here due to grimm or they need to make room in the cities guess it sucked to be them although there were a lot of fan theories about the dragon continent not all of them good.
[God this is annoying, no enemy to fight at all, at least I'm going in the right direction.] Sten thought as he walked down the road he left the dragon continent a few days ago to do some recon in Vale so far it was slow . He then stopped and felt his Spiritual awareness had kicked in and then he used Shunpo to go where he felt the disturbance. When he got there he saw four people, three women and one man and he recognized them all. They were Cinder, Emerald, Mercury, and Amber.
[What the hell? How is this happening? I thought Amber was already in a coma. Damn it this makes things even more complicated!] Sten thought and he pulled out his Markza Sniper Rifle and aimed at Cinder with and calmly pulled the trigger. They were a higher level than him but he was an op and this rifle. He watched as the bullet hit the glove that Cinder was trying to use on Amber. Moving on he fired at Emerald and Mercury until he had to reload. The glove was destroyed and now
"Who the hell was that?" Mercury asked, barely recovering from being hit that hurt a lot more than dust.
"I don't know! Where did it come from!?" Emerald shouted.
Cinder was not happy, the glove Salam gave her was ruined and her hand hurt… a lot. Aaand now the fall maiden had gotten away.
*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*
Three more shots rang out and Mercury was the target; his left arm was completely blown off and his left leg surely irreparably damaged. Before she could think of something she felt a pressure that was pushing her down. She looked and saw a man judging by his build and dress. He was truly ready for war heavy armor, weapons and ammo. He stalked slowly forward, sword held loosely at his side.
"Of course the one time I go somewhere other than home I find some assholes attacking someone three on one." He said. "But since Grimm doesn't do it for me anymore I'll tell you what… give me a challenge and I might let you live or don't either way I'll have some fun." He said in a disinterested tone. Cinder snapped out of her daze, fired her bow at him only for him to cut the arrow in half and he then disappeared and then reappeared in front of her and swung down as she jumped to avoid the attack. Emerald attacked with her revolvers and hit him, sending him back only for him to recover. He then held out his hand and said one word.
"Bala." Once said a ball of bright neon blue light outlined with a white shot at Cinder then another one at Emerald. Cinder managed to dodge but Emerald was hit and sent into the woods by the blast. Cinder then looked to see another man show up and go to Amber's side. She bit back a growl and quickly gathered up what was left of her comrades and fled.
Mercury however was on the ground holding his arm or where his arm was he looked hateful at Sten who shrugged it off. He then revved up his Lancer chainsaw bayonet. Mercury went wide eyed as he tried to scream but he then felt the Lancer's chainsaw bayonet shoved in his chest ripping and tearing his chest blood bone and his guts were flying out all over the place. His last sight was the cold eyes of the man's helmet that was spotted with his blood.
" Nothing but bits". Sten said and he saw the Amber herling and Qrow was ready to fight. The trees slammed down as an Assault Derrick pulled up with it's chaingun manned overlooking the area. Several gears dropped down from the derricks and walked up to Sten.
" Look what we have here, a jackass who walks off from the convoy and two rejects and a mutilated corpse, what did we get a shit load of grimm to deal with ". A blonde haired man said with a pair of blue goggles on his head.
" Oh,fuck you Baird I was tired of setting on the damned thing". The man wearing the full armor said to the now named Baird.
" Uh, are you forgetting you are the leader of the convoy and we need to protect you because you know how to get to Vale, meaning no running off and getting killed or killing someone oh look at that too late". Baird said and he was flipped off again.
Oops he forgot about the convoy.
Meanwhile the two people were looking at the exchange in bewilderment. Qrow was looking at the massive vehicles that towered over anything Atlas had. He had started calling Ozpin and sent a few snap shot's of the unknown element. Amber was struggling to stay up as she had exhausted herself in the fight and was sore all over.
" All right people, mount up and let's get to Vale". A man with a scar left cheek and a bandanna said.
Timeline begin
11th of Rise, 1 AE
The Empire of Sera makes contact with the Kingdom Vale and several trade agreements are struck along with a military agreement. The Serans are granted a plot of land to build their embassies in the Vale. The empire of Sera military prowess was shown a few weeks later when they established their second city Halvo Bay near the ocean to act as a harbor and trading hub when a horde of ten thousand Grimm attacked. The 3rd and 5th infantry regiment along with the 4th armored company and the 8th attack chopper squadron managed to annihilate the Grimm horde suffering moderate losses. The FT101 Main Battle Tank and T-600 Titan performed well and effectively against the grimm. The Sonic Emitter or the Sonic cannon that was in the defense line was a brutal, but effective base defense weapon that was effective against most ground based Grimm. The AATIS guns or the iron shield proved to be lethal to most air type Grimm.
The Thrashball league is set up.
The population of the Empire of Sera expands massively with an influx of people from unknown locations.
The Octus Canon, founding principles of the Coalition, as handed down by the Allfathers, and recited by every citizen is seen disturbing by the other Kingdoms for seeming to be tyrannical. This was sent back in response.
"I am responsible for myself and my actions; I shall conduct myself honorably, and live a clean and frugal life. I have responsibilities to my fellow citizens. I shall be loyal to them, and humble, because we are elements of a greater whole, and without them I am nothing, I have responsibilities to our society; I shall understand and respect my place in it, defend it, and work to make it prosperous, so that I may receive society's protection, and that we may hand on safety and prosperity to future generations."
Ozpin, the headmaster of Beacon, was not amused.
30th of Rise, 1 AE
Three and a half weeks later the Atlas Military attempts to negotiate with the empire of Sera to gain their technology. The Atlas diplomatic team leaves New Ephyra angry and humiliated. The EOSM or The empire of Sera military is flooded with requests from settlements from beyond the walls of the kingdoms the OSI or the office of Seran intelligence finds out several of those requests are from bandits that wish to make a name for themselves are killed quickly as a result.
A new group is created to answer the calls for help the Guardians were created and 4000 thousand volunteers are given the choice of using Exo Suits or Combat Rigs. OSI under orders of the emperor created the Sentinel Task Force and The Ghosts or Task Force: STALKER to handle things from espionage, sabotage, to assassinations etc both task forces have only 1000 each and the identity of each Ghost or Sentinel are highly classified.
The empire of Sera starts the Saran foreign legion where those who join the military gain citizenships after a 5 year tour or through grievous injuries during their tour.
10th of Heat, 1 AE
The empire of Sera invites the leaders of the kingdoms to show off the newly built airships. The standard atlas airship size is 250 meters long and 56 meters wide and 60 in height and the flagship of the Atlesian fleet is a record 400 meters long 60 meters wide and 70 meters in height. The whole of Remnant bore witness to the new flagship of the empire of Sera air fleet, the SWSC-1 Olympus Mons coming in at 927 meters long with a height of 151 meters and 95 meters wide. The next ship was The Kodiak heavy battlecruiser coming at 216 meters long and 66 meters wide and 70 in height. The last ship was the SG-11 Salamander at 190 meters long, 60 meters wide and 50 in height.
The full air fleet strength is 1 SWSC-1 Olympus Mons,6 A-Jak Cutters, 4 Destroyers(United Nations Space Alliance Destroyers from COD-IW) 6 Assault Airships(COD-AW), 3 Admiral-class Space Warfare Carriers, 100 Jackal Fighter Jets, 78 R-7 Skelters, and 45 R-16 Skelters, 20 Vertigo Bombers, 1 Kodiak heavy battlecruiser, and 1 SG-11 Salamander with hundreds of other smaller craft.
General Victor Hoffman and General James Ironwood later got into an altercation over several things, one being the use of men and women over android soldiers and insulting several core beliefs of the gears and Hoffman which led General Hoffman to have a black eye and General Ironwood several bruised ribs and a broken nose. General Hoffman challenged General Ironwood saying "A squad of my best Gear's can kick those sorry tin-cans of yours around the battlefield with their eyes shut and bare handed".
Delta Squad consisting of Sgt. Marcus Fenix, Cpl. Damon Baird, Cpl. Dominic Santiago and Pvt. Augustus Cole and along with Zeta-Six led by Lt. Minh Young Kim, Cpl. Michael Barrick, Pvt. Tai Kaliso, Pvt. Alicia Valera faced 200 Atlesian Knight-130s or just simply AK-130s. The two Gear squads took out all AK-130s within ten minutes leaving the Atlesian military with a black eye and greatly ruined pride and with 16 million Lien being given to the Serans.
27th of Heat, 1 AE
Emerald Sustrai, former member of Cinder's Faction and Salem's is found running from Tyrian Callows on orders from Salem to kill her for failure to capture the Fall Maiden. Hazel Rainart, who was recruited prior to the events, faced and managed to chase off Tyrian. Emerald Sustrai is taken to New Ephyra and is given sanctuary in exchange for any information on Cinder and Salem and key information on Leonardo Lionheart sending hunters to their death . Emerald is kept under probation and an anti-aura caller is kept around her neck until she is off her six month probation period.
Leonardo Lionheart is found dead later cause of death was decapitation with all evidence of his crimes found exposed by an unknown source. The reputation of huntsmen and huntresses takes a hard hit.
The empire of Sera manages to have sixteen veteran huntsmen and huntresses to start their own academy. Project PREDATOR begins with Hazel Rainart assisting in training Seran hunters and huntressess who not only specialize in hunting Grimm but also humans/Faunus. 300 recruits are the only ones in training but reports are promising.
The empire of Sera begins selling and other dust at a 50% cheaper rate than the Schnee Dust Company to outlining settlements. Jacques Schnee attempts industrial sabotage. All attempts fall and the Schnee dust company starts losing profits.
Menagerie and The empire of Sera come to a trade agreement and military agreement. The 5th legion (9,500+air and armor support) under command of General Hoffman arrived at Menagerie and with chieftain Ghira Belladonna to expand their territory on Menagerie and fight off the Grimm.
8th of Bloom, 1 AE
The newly built fortress Anvil Gate garrisoned by 5th and 4000 DeeBees with 6 Kestrel fully-automated attack drone helicopters, 6 King Raven Mark 2s, 4 Armadillo APC's and 4 FT101 Main Battle Tanks. Anvil Gate has 6 Chain Guns enplanements,5 Twin-Barrel Turrets, 2 High Velocity Main Cannons, 4 One shot emplacements, 3 Naval Class Cannon Batteries, and 3 150mm Cannons. The rest of the 5th legion begins to clear out a large number of Grimm so new settlements can be built. The Octus Canon and other Seran cultures beliefs start to spread on Menagerie due to the Serans seeing them to be less annoying(The serans hate the white fang) and less lazy like the other kingdoms…sometimes.
Menagerie has three new but small towns being built in the desert and the three are to be able to hold 300 to 500 occupants. The 5th legion at Anvil Gate soon prepares for a massive grimm horde. The grimm horde is 75,000 in size mostly composed of desert type grimm. The siege of Anvil gate is long and drawn out the walls of Anvil gate held as the grimm died after 12 hours of fighting the Grimm horde was routed with only 500 gears dead, two thousand Deebees lost and 2 King Ravens, 2 FT101 Main Battle Tanks. Anvil Gate still stood strong by the end of it. The grimm population had lowered considerably in Menagerie.
The 3rd and 4th Seran Regular army Battalion arrives at Menagerie and starts to engage Grimm near Kuo Kuana.
The empire of Sera huntsmen and huntresses academy now has 100 students who are given a choice and the duties they will have and what Standards they will hold by and how dangerous it will be and consequences. The EOSM have very hands-on teaching besides the huntsmen and huntresses. The headmaster of Jäger academy is Carl Zimtom.

The Empire of Sera new report shows that their Navys full air fleet strength is 1 SWSC-1 Olympus Mons,21 A-Jak Cutters, 9 Destroyers(United Nations Space Alliance Destroyers from COD-IW) 26 Assault Airships(COD-AW), 6 Admiral-class Space Warfare Carriers, 700 Jackal Fighter Jets, 478 R-7 Skelters, and 425 R-16 Skelters, 321 Vertigo Bombers, 8 Kodiak heavy battlecruiser, and 8 SG-11 Salamander with hundreds of other smaller craft, 23 Iowa-class battleships. 30,000 NCOG Marines
The army had 41,000 Gears, 5,500 Onyx Guard's, 12,000 Seran Commandos, 1,000 Sentinel Task Force operatives, 1000 Ghosts, 50,000 regular army troops, 20,000 Seran foreign legion, 300,000 DeeBees, 21 COG Mammoths, 270 Mega Mechs, 123 Minotaurs, 845 Armadillos APCs, 80 COG Tanks, 3,000 Centaurs tanks, 2,000 Pariah Tanks, 210 Assault Derricks, 500 Silverbacks, 210 T-740 Hovertanks, 100 T-600 Titans, 98 Mammoth tanks, 500 FT101 Main Battle Tanks. However only 45%of the organic forces are active and are rotated out every six months.
The Empire of Sera operates the largest army in the world and backlashes from the other kingdoms minus Vacuo and Menagerie are great. Atlas, Vale, Mistral (read ozpin Ironwood) to disband the army and navy to a token defense force.
