Alyssa jumped fairly soon after they left the first Antigravity Olympics, she had a fun time, Rose for some reason didn't join them, so it was just her and the Doctor. However that didn't make it any less fun and sad when she jumped once again, She jumped to the same Tardis in mid flight. she looked around and saw Rose and the Ninth Doctor.
"Why do I always jump here midflight?" She said, as she made her way over to the Doctor who landed the Tardis, "Is that a signal?" Alyssa asked as she looked at the scanner, which showed something was causing them to go off course. She looked at the Doctor who nodded, before he exited the Tardis, Alyssa following quickly after him
"So what is it? What's wrong?" Rose said,

"Don't know. Some kind of signal drawing the Tardis off course." The Doctor said, as Alyssa looked around and realized they were in some gallery,

"Where are we?" Rose asked,

"Earth. Utah, North America. About half a mile underground." Alyssa said,

"And when are we?" Rose asked,

"Two thousand and twelve." The Doctor said, as he walked over, and looked in display cases before,

"God, that's so close. So I should be twenty six." Rose said, as the Doctor walked over and touched a button causing all the lights to turn on

"Blimey. It's a great big museum." Rose said,

"An alien museum. Someone's got a hobby. They must have spent a fortune on this. Chunks of meteorite, moon dust. That's the milometer from the Roswell spaceship." The Doctor said, as the three walked forward looking at the items in the display cases. before Rose saw a familiar sight,

"That's a bit of Slitheen! That's a Slitheen's arm. It's been stuffed." Rose said, as the Doctor and Rose walked forward before they saw a Cyberman head, which they walked over to it,

"Oh, look at you." the Doctor said,

"What is it?" Rose said, as she joined the two,

"An old friend of mine. Well, enemy. The stuff of nightmares reduced to an exhibit. I'm getting old." The Doctor said,

"Is that where the signal's coming from?" Rose said,

"No, it's stone dead," Alyssa said,

"The signal's alive. Something's reaching out, calling for help." the Doctor added, before he reached up and touched the display case causing an alarm to go off, and soldiers surrounded them, pointing guns at the three,

"If someone's collecting aliens, that makes you two Exhibit A." Rose said,

The soldiers took them to see the owner of the museum, who was sitting down, with Adam behind him, holding with a metal device, "And this is the last. Paid eight hundred thousand dollars for it." Adam said as they entered

"What does it do?" The man in the chair said,

"Well, you see the tubes on the side? It must be to channel something. I think maybe fuel." Adam said,

"I really wouldn't hold it like that." The Doctor said,

"Shut it." The female who brought them in front of the person said,

"Really, though, that's wrong." The Doctor said,

"Is it dangerous?" Adam said,

"No, it just looks silly." The Doctor said, before he reached for the item, before guns were pointed at him, and the man sitting held up a hand, before handing the device to the Doctor,

"You just need to be" The Doctor started as he strocked the device and it made a musical note, "Delicate." he finished, as he continued playing the notes,

"It's a musical instrument." the man said,

"And it's a long way from home." The Doctor said,

"Here, let me." The man said, and the Doctor let the man take it before he tried to play it, mechanical sounds coming from it quite different from what the Doctor played,

"I did say delicate. It reacts to the smallest fingerprint. It needs precision." The Doctor said, and the man finally got it,

"Very good. Quite the expert." the Doctor said,

"As are you." The man said, before he tossed the instrument aside, "Who exactly are you?"

"I'm the Doctor. And who are you?" the Doctor said,

"Like you don't know. We're hidden away with the most valuable collection of extra-terrestrial artefacts in the world, and you just stumbled in by mistake." the man said,

"Pretty much sums me up, yeah." The Doctor said,

"The question is, how did you get in? Fifty three floors down, with your little cat burglar accomplices. You're quite a collector yourself, they're rather pretty."
"They are going to smack you if you don't address them properly." Alyssa said, Rose nodding along,

"They're English too! Hey, little Lord Fauntleroy. Got you girlfriends." the man said,

"this Mister Henry Van Statten." Adam said,

"And who's he when he's at home?" Rose asked,

"Mister Van Statten owns the internet." Adam said,

"Don't be stupid. No one owns the internet." Rose said,

"And let's just keep the whole world thinking that way, right kids?" Van Statten said,

"So you're just about an expert in everything except the things in your museum. Anything you don't understand, you lock up." the Doctor said,

"And you claim greater knowledge?" Van Statten said,

"I don't need to make claims, I know how good I am." The Doctor said,

"And yet, I captured you. Right next to the Cage. What were you doing down there?" Van Statten said,

"You tell me." The Doctor said,

"The cage contains my one living specimen." Van Statten said,

"And what's that?" The Doctor said,

"Like you don't know." Van Statten said,

"Show me." The Doctor said,

"You want to see it?" Van Statten said,

"Blimey, you can smell the testosterone." Alyssa said, as she tried to remember if this was a episode or not, once she did she paled,

"Goddard, inform the Cage we're heading down. You, English. Look after the girls. Go and canoodle or spoon or whatever it is you British do. And you, Doctor with no name, come and see my pet." Van Statten said, and he and the Doctor left. Leaving Alyssa and Rose with Adam, who lead them to his workshop
"Sorry about the mess. Mister Van Statten sort of lets me do my own thing, so long as I deliver the goods. What do you think that is?" Adam said, as he handed Rose an piece of metal,

"Er, a lump of metal?" Rose said,

"Yeah. Yeah, but I think, well, I'm almost certain, it's from the hull of a spacecraft. The thing is, it's all true. Everything the United Nations tries to keep quiet, spacecraft, aliens, visitors to Earth. They really exist." Adam said, causing Alyssa and Rose to secretly smirk at each other,

"That's amazing." Rose said, turning back to Adam,

"I know it sounds incredible, but I honestly believe the whole universe is just teeming with life." Adam said,

"I'm gobsmacked, yeah. And you do what, sit here and catalogue it?" Rose said,

"Best job in the world." Adam said,

"Imagine if you could get out there. Travel amongst the stars and see it for real." Rose said,

"Yeah, I'd give anything. I don't think it's ever going to happen. Not in our lifetimes." Adam said,
"Oh you never know, there have been people who have said they've been inside spaceships and talked to aliens,

"I think they're nutters." Adam said,
"You believe all this stuff is alien, you literally work in an alien muesum but people talking Aliens is crazy?" Alyssa said, "Mind you, it almost makes me think you're in the wrong line of work Adam." And Adam frowned,

"So, how'd you end up here?" Rose said,

"Van Statten has agents all over the world looking for geniuses to recruit." Adam said,

"Oh, right. You're a genius." Rose said,

"Sorry, but yeah. I can't help it. I was born clever. When I was eight, I logged onto the US Defence System. Nearly caused World War Three." Adam said,
"And that's supposed to be funny." Alyssa said, crossing her arms

"Well, you should've been there just to see them running about. Fantastic!" Adam said,
"wow you were almost like the Doctor there but not," Alyssa said,

"Are you and him?" he asked, looking between Rose and Alyssa,

"No, we're just friends." Rose said,
"I don't know what we are." Alyssa muttered,

"Good." Adam said, looking at Rose,

"Why is it good?" Rose asked,

"It just is." Adam said,

"So, wouldn't you rather be downstairs? I mean, you've got these bits of metal and stuff, but Mister Van Statten's got a living creature down there." Rose said,

"Yeah. Yeah, well, I did ask, but he keeps it to himself. Although, if you're a genius, it doesn't take long to patch through on the comm. system." Adam said, gesturing to a computer,

"Let's have a look, then." Rose said, as the three walked over to the computer and Adam started typing into the computer,

"It doeesn't do much, the alien. It's weird. It's kind of useless. It's just like this great big pepper pot." Adam said before the image of the cage turned on, and they watched a man in orange walk over to what Alyssa knew was a Dalek, the man started drilling into the Dalek and the Dalek started screaming,

"It's being tortured! Where's the Doctor?" Rose said,
"Rose, we need to leave this one be." Alyssa said
"But there's a living thing being tortured! where is he? Where's the Doctor," Rose said,

"I don't know." Adam said,

"Take me down there now." Rose said, before she walked off, Adam following, Alyssa took one last look at the Screaming Dalek and chased after the two
"Rose!" Alyssa called out, as the three went down to the cage,

"Hold it right there." The man who was dressed in Orange said, right before Adam flashed his ID card,

"Level three access. Special clearance from Mister Van Statten." Adam said, and the three entered the cage, "Don't get too close." he said as the door closed behind the three, Alyssa staying close to the door,
"Rose we can't help it." Alyssa said, as Rose walked towards the Dalek,

"We have to try, since when did you condone torture?" Rose said,
"I don't, I…" Alyssa said, but she didn't finish before Rose turned back to the Dalek

"Hello. Are you in pain? My name's Rose Tyler. I've got a friend, he can help. He's called the Doctor. What's your name?"

"Yes." the Dalek said,

"What?" Rose said,

"I am in pain. They torture me, but still they fear me. Do you fear me?" The Dalek said,

"No." Rose said,

"I am dying." The Dalek said,

"No, we can help." Rose said

"I welcome death. But I am glad that before I die I have met a human who was not afraid." the Dalek said,

"Isn't there anything I can do?" Rose said,

"My race is dead, and I shall die alone." the Dalek said, and Rose lifted her hand and reached for the Daleks head,

"Rose don't!" Alyssa yelled, the same time Adam yelled "Rose, no!" before Rose touched the metal casing, and a gold handprint was left behind before that disappeared, Alyssa ran forward and pulled Rose away,

"Genetic material extrapolated. Initiate cellular reconstruction!" The Dalek said, as the chains containing it broke, the cage door opened and the man in orange came in

"What the hell have you done?" He said before he walked up to the Dalek and the Dalek raised it's plunger, "What are you going to do? Sucker me to death?" he said, before the Dalek did exactly that, Alyssa pulling Rose out of the room Adam following.
"It's killing him! Do something! Alyssa!" Rose said,
"I tried to do something I tried to prevent this Rose and you ignored me!" Alyssa shouted, as one of the men started saying something into the speaker system,

"Condition red! Condition red!" he said, "I repeat this is not a drill."

"You've got to keep it in that cell." The Doctor said on the monitor,

"Doctor, it's all my fault." Rose said,
"I tried to stop her, but you know humans." Alyssa said glaring a little at Rose,

"I've sealed the compartment. It can't get out, that lock's got a billion combinations." the man with them said,

"That won't stop it." Alyssa said,

"A Dalek's a genius. It can calculate a thousand billion combinations in one second flat." The Doctor confirmed, and they all backed up to the door and watched as lots of combinations flash on the number pad before the door opened and the Dalek rolled out,

"Open fire!" the man said, he and the female soldier firing at the Dalek,

"Don't shoot it! I want it unharmed." Van Statten said from the computer monitor, as the five started backing up.

"Alyssa, Rose, get out of there!" The Doctor called,

"De Maggio, take the civilians and get them out alive. That is your job, got that?" The man said, and

"You, with me." De Maggio said, and the three rushed after her, before the four rushed through the corridors, and past guards "Civilians! Let them through!" she yelled as a barricade of guards formed and the four was let through, they kept running the Dalek following them making quick work of the guards. They ran into a room and saw stairs,

"Stairs! That's more like it. It hasn't got legs. It's stuck!" Rose said,
"Stairs are not going to stop it," Alyssa muttered,

"It's coming! Get up!" De Maggio said, as the four climbed up the stairs and watched the Dalek roll in,

"Great big alien death machine defeated by a flight of stairs." Adam said,

"Now listen to me. I demand that you return to your cage. If you want to negotiate then I can guarantee that Mister van Statten will be willing to talk. I accept that we imprisoned you and maybe that was wrong, but people have died, and that stops right now. The killing stops. Have you got that? I demand that you surrender. Is that clear?" De Maggio said
"you can't negotiate with it! you stupid apes!" Alyssa said,

"Elevate." the Dalek said, before blue light shown and it started climbing the stairs,

"Oh my God." Rose said,

"Adam, get them out of here." De Maggio said,

"Come with us. You can't stop it." Alyssa said,

"Someone's got to try. Now get out! Don't look back. Just run." De Maggio said, and the three rushed up the stairs, hearing De Maggio scream from behind them. they kept running before they ran into a loading bay and saw various soldiers all aiming their guns at them, and heard another guard yell out "Hold your fire! You two, get the hell out of there!" Which they did, and they stopped behind the guards as the Dalek rolled in. Alyssa and Rose watching as the eyestalk focused in on Rose, and zoomed in on her, before the three ran out,

"It was looking at me." Rose said, stopping,

"Yeah, it wants to slaughter us." Adam said, him and Alyssa stopping too

"I know, but it was looking right at me." Rose said,
"It was looking at you, Rose, your DNA is what caused it to escape it absorbed it. it knows you, we can sit here and have me explain it, or we can run." Alyssa said, as the soldiers in the bay started firing at the Dalek.

"Can't you do something? you have your gun!" Rose said,
"Rose a Dalek is nearly indestructible and for me to even hurt it, I would need to aim really really well, which we do not have time for!" Alyssa yelled, as she grabbed her arm and the three took off running again. Rose's phone started ringing while they were running up flights of stairs and Rose picked up.

"This isn't the best time!" Rose said
"Put Alyssa on the phone," the Doctor said, and Rose did exactly that
"Doctor." She said,
"Where are you?" he asked,
"Level 49" She said,

"You've got to keep moving. The vault's being sealed off up at level forty six." The Doctor said,
"Okay," Alyssa said,

"I can't wait and I can't help you. Now for God's sake, run." The Doctor said, and Alyssa pulled the phone away from her ear and started running faster. They soon got to level 46 as Alyssa put the phone back to her ear and

"We're nearly there. Give us two seconds." Alyssa said, as she quickly glanced at Rose, who was ahead of her, she let out a sigh as she kept running and watched as the bulkheads started closing, she watched as Adam rolled under the bulkhead, and she pushed Rose who successfully rolled under the bulkhead. Right before it closed on Alyssa. "Alyssa, where are you? Alyssa, did you make it?" Alyssa heard the Doctor's voice say through Rose's phone she slowly lifted it up to her ear,

"Sorry, I was a bit slow." She said, before she looked behind her and saw the Dalek roll in. She knew that the Dalek didn't kill Rose, who was originally the one stuck behind the bulkhead, but she wasn't Rose, she had no clue what would happen, "See you, then, Doctor. It wasn't your fault. Remember that, okay? It wasn't your fault. And do you know what? I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Traveling with you, never." Alyssa said, before she pulled the phone down from her ear,

"Exterminate!" the Dalek cried, but shot the door instead, Alyssa let out a sigh of relief as she looked at the Dalek.

"Go on then, kill me." Alyssa said,

"I am armed. I will kill. It is my purpose." the Dalek said,
"I know but why are you leaving me alive?" Alyssa asked,

"I feel your fear." the Dalek said,
"Well yeah your race killed mine," Alyssa said,
"you're a time lady!" the Dalek said, before it fired at the bulkhead door again, Alyssa flinching before she looked back at the Dalek,

"Rose gave you life, can't you feel it?" Alyssa said,

"She gave me life. What else has she given me? I am contaminated." The Dalek said, soon the Dalek pointed his laser gun at her and she stood in front of it as it turned on the camera.

"Open the bulkhead or the last time lady dies." the Dalek said, and the Doctor let out a sight of relief,

"You're alive!" The Doctor exclaimed,

"Can't get rid of me that easily." Alyssa said, glancing at the Dalek,

"I thought you were dead." The Doctor said, and Alyssa did a half smile before it fell,

"Open the bulkhead!" The Dalek demanded,

"Don't do it!" Alyssa called out, and they stared at each other for a second,

"What use are emotions if you will not save the woman you love?" The Dalek said, and Alyssa glanced at the Dalek and then back up at the Doctor. The woman he loved, Alyssa thought the last time she saw this Doctor he didn't trust her, she could hardly believe those emotions changed that fast,

"I killed her once. I can't do it again." The Doctor said, before he pressed a button and the bulkhead opened and they both walked forward, and up the levels as they got in a lift in silence, Alyssa finally broke it,
"I'm begging you, don't kill them. You didn't kill me." Alyssa said,

"But why not? Why are you alive? My function is to kill. What am I? What am I?" The Dalek said, and the lift stopped at level 1. and it opened in to the office where Goddard, and Van Statten were,

"Don't move. Don't do anything. It's beginning to question itself." Alyssa called out, holding a hand up,

"Van Statten. You tortured me. Why?" the Dalek said, as it rolled forward to Van Statten him backing up as he spoke

"I wanted to help you. I just, I don't know. I was trying to help. I thought if we could get through to you, if we could mend you. I wanted you better. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry! I swear, I just wanted you to talk!" he said, his back hitting the wall,

"Then hear me talk now. Exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate!" The Dalek said, his laser gun aiming up at it, Alyssa rushed forward,

"Don't do it! Don't kill him! You don't have to do this anymore. There must be something else, not just killing. What else is there? What do you want?" Alyssa said,

"I want freedom."
"then you should get freedom." Alyssa said, and the two walked out of the office and down into a large room, where the Dalek shot a hole in the roof, sunlight streaming in,

"You're out. You made it. I never thought I'd feel the sunlight again." Alyssa said looking up at the hole and closing her eyes,

"How does it feel?" The Dalek said, before it opened it's middle casing revealing a squid like creature with one eye, Alyssa going forward in front of the way,

"Get out of the way. Alyssa, get out of the way now!" The Doctor said, and Alyssa turned around and looked at the Doctor who was holding an gun, Rose a few paces behind,

"No," Alyssa said,

"That thing killed hundreds of people." The Doctor said,
"it's not the one pointing the gun at me." Alyssa said,

"I've got to do this. I've got to end it. The Daleks destroyed our home, our people. I've got nothing left."
"You have me, you will always have me, and I carry a gun Doctor, but I don't shoot anything, I don't shoot anything that can be saved, or without your permission, everything can change, Doctor, even a Dalek with the right tool. Look at it." Alyssa said showing the Dalek, who was bathing in the sunlight and reached a tentacle towards the sun,

"What's it doing?" The Doctor said,

"It's the sunlight, that's all it wants." Alyssa said,

"But it can't" the Doctor said,
"It couldn't kill Van Statten, it couldn't kill me. It's changing. What about you, Doctor? What the hell are you changing into? A man who kills something that just wants the sun? you are better then that." Alyssa said, and the Doctor dropped the gun he was holding, and looked at the Dalek,

"I couldn't. I wasn't. Oh, Alyssa. They're all dead." The Doctor said, and Alyssa opened her mouth to say something,

"Why do we survive?" the Dalek said, and Alyssa looked back at the Dalek,

"I don't know." the Doctor said,

"I am the last of the Daleks."
"Im sorry, you aren't even that, Rose did more then regenerate you, you absorbed her DNA you're mutating." Alyssa said,

"Into what?" The Dalek asked,

"Something new. I'm sorry." Alyssa said,

"Isn't that better?" Rose said,
"Not for a Dalek." The Doctor said,

"I can feel so many ideas. So much darkness. Rose, give me orders. Order me to die." the Dalek said,

"I can't do that." Rose said,

"This is not life. This is sickness. I shall not be like you. Order my destruction! Obey! Obey! Obey!" The Dalek said,

"Do it." Rose said,

"Are you frightened, Rose Tyler?" the Dalek said,

"Yeah." Rose said,

"So am I. Exterminate." The Dalek said, and Alyssa looked back at it, as it started closing it's metal casing as Alyssa ran over to the Doctor, as it lifted up into the air and the metal balls surrounded it before it imploded the Dalek disappearing.

The three went back to the the Tardis and the Doctor stood by it and put a hand on it "A little piece of home. Better than nothing."
"yeah" Alyssa said, putting her hand on the Tardis as well,

"Is that the end of it, the Time War?" Rose asked,

"We're the only one left. I win. How about that?" The Doctor said,
"Sometimes winning is no fun at all." Alyssa muttered,

"The Dalek survived. Maybe some of your people did too." Rose said,

"we'd know. In here." The Doctor said, tapping his head, " Besides Alyssa feels like there's no one."

"Well then, good thing I'm not going anywhere." Rose said, causing both the Doctor and Alyssa to smile.

"Yeah." The Doctor said, as Adam ran to where they were,

"We'd better get out. Van Statten's disappeared. They're closing down the base. Goddard says they're going to fill it full of cement, like it never existed." Adam said,

"About time." Rose said,

"I'll have to go back home." Adam said,

"Better hurry up then. Next flight to Heathrow leaves at fifteen hundred hours." the Doctor said,

"Adam was saying that all his life he wanted to see the stars." Rose said,

"Tell him to go and stand outside, then." the Doctor said,

"He's all on his own, Doctor, and he did help." Rose said,

"He left Alyssa down there." The Doctor said,

"So did you." Alyssa muttered,

"What're you talking about? We've got to leave." Adam said,

"Plus, he's a bit pretty." The Doctor said,

"I hadn't noticed." Rose said, and the Doctor turned around to unlock the Tardis,

"On your own head." The Doctor said, before the three entered the Tardis,

"What're you doing? She said cement. She wasn't joking. We're going to get sealed in." Adam said, "Doctor? What're you doing standing inside a box? Rose?" before he stepped inside, and the Doctor piloted the Tardis away from the museum,

Rose took Adam on a tour of the Tardis leaving Alyssa and the Doctor alone, Alyssa cleared her throat, "Alyssa?" the Doctor said peeking at her

"the Dalek said, 'the woman you love'" Alyssa muttered,

"yes it did," The Doctor said, turning away from her, not saying anything else,
"the last time I saw this you, you said you didn't trust me. and I know it wasn't that far back for you," Alyssa said again, and the Doctor turned back to her,

"Yes I did at least in your timeline, and I am really sorry." the Doctor said, "I do trust you now."

"Okay," Alyssa said, turning away to go deeper into the Tardis, "Rose told me you pushed her under the bulkhead," The Doctor said, causing her stop,

"I did, I thought that if the dalek killed me, a paradox would start destroying it, too many established events in my timeline." she muttered,

"but you would've been dead," The Doctor said, moving over to her,
"Didn't think about that at the time, and it didn't kill me, It had mutated too much at that point," Alyssa said, as the Doctor wrapped his arms around her, hugging her.

"Don't make that type of plan again."
"it will be a last resort I promise you that Doc." she said,
"Stop calling me Doc,"

"you love it." she whispered, before a headache erupted through her, she let out a sigh before she looked up at the Doctor who kissed the top of her head as he saw the gold erupt from her, before she disappeared
