a/n: Thanks for the support.

Pretty quiet Friday out here.

Feeling lonely but it's whatever.

You came for a fic not my inner thoughts.

Enjoy

Alola Ash in Sinnoh POV:

"Finish this now, Incineroar!" Ash yelled out, "Revenge now!"

Ash's newly evolved Incineroar punched a Magmortar in the gut, and the rival fire type collapsed.

The stadium erupted in cheers. Ash was the champion of the Lilly of the Valley.

Ash looked around the stadium, in awe of what had just happened. He had won!

The next hour was a blur, he was presented a trophy from Cynthia and Goodshow. He was a champion! Some fireworks went off, hands were shaken and…. He was alone

In the locker room, feasting off the victory.

It felt…. New. But not bad

Ash felt his trophy and let Pikachu inspect it. It felt…. Strange, alien almost. But satisfying

Just then, Dawn walked into the room, "Ash! Oh my gosh, you're a champion!"

She blushed and pulled Ash into a hug, Ash understanding what the gesture meant thanks to his maturity and less dense nature, squeezed her tight.

"It's been a crazy few days. Thanks for sticking with me," Ash said with a smile.

"Of course, Ash, it's what friends are for, are they not?" Dawn lightly punched Ash on the shoulder, "I'll always stick by you."

"You're the best, Dawn, seriously. You're awesome." Ash said with a light blush, noticing how pretty Dawn actually was.

"Well, what do ya say we get out of here and celebrate? Brock says he's paying for the nicest restaurant in town!" Dawn said with a wink, implying Brock never agreed to such a thing.

Ash finished eating the steak and burped.

"Wow! This was amazing! Seriously, thanks for agreeing to pay Brock!"

"What! I never agreed to any such thing! Dawn said you were paying from the prize money!"

Both boys turned their attention to Dawn, who looked sheepishly at them.

"Excuse me, I think I can cover the bill," a blonde lady said

"Cynthia! Wow! Nice to see you again!" Ash said happily

"Congrats again, Ash, however, I think you and I need to chat," Cynthia said politely.

"Yeah, what about?" Ash questioned

"Just the future of your participation in the league, nothing much," Cynthia explained.

"Oh… well, I guess "

"Well. Here's my card. I'll call you with information soon enough. It'll be in about three weeks, so you have until then to prepare."

"Oh… well.. Ok…" Ash said, slighty confused

Cynthia's face lit up,"Oh Ash, please ask out that Dawn girl. Her feelings are as plain as day," she said with a giggle.

Ash blushed furiously and tried to play off the comment, "Oh well…. I mean I want, I mean I will!"

"Well, I'll leave you to it, just know that you better not break her heart, or I force you to visit my villa in Undella Town,"

"What's so bad about a house in a resort town? That sounds like a reward instead of a punishment!" Ash said puzzled

"Those who know. Know." Cynthia said mysteriously

"Ummm ok, guess I'll see you soon, Cynthia," Ash said

—-

Brock cleared his throat when Ash sat back down, "So umm guys, what's the plan from here?

"Well, I'm challenging the champions league in three weeks. That's what Cynthia was just talking to me about," Ash explained.

"Well, Ash, here's the thing. I've been considering my career options as of late, and I realized that being a pokemon doctor is the path I want to choose," Brock spoke slowly, almost guilt in his voice.

Ash nodded, "I know Brock, remember? Future stuff, and I want you to know that you're seriously the best pokemon doctor around,"

"What about you, Dawn?"

Dawn blushed and scratched her head, "Well, truth be told, I'm considering staying in Sinnoh and taking another crack at next season's concert circuit."

"Oh, that's awesome! Let's keep traveling together until the champions league!"

"Yeah, sounds fun!"

"Don't have too much fun you two!" Brock said with a grin, causing both Ash and Dawn to blush

"Anyway, guys, I'm proud of both of you. Ash, you've grown up so much from when I last saw you, and you deserved that victory so much. And so have you, Dawn!"

"Thanks, Brock," Ash and Dawn said simultaneously.

Brock pushed in his chair and looked at Ash and Dawn, "It's getting dark out, what do you say we get outta here, our ferry for Twinleaf leaves early tomorrow, and we need some rest."

Later that night:

Dawn was mustering up all of her courage, it was now or never. Brock was inside, getting ready for bed and Ash was on the balcony which was blocked by a curtain. Dawn knew that this was the chance, a balcony on a moonlight night was a trope used by people inexperienced at writing romance and are winging it based on the few experiences that they've had, with mixed results.

She took a deep breath and walked towards Ash who was staring at the stadium with Pikachu on his shoulder.

"Hey"

"Hey"

Dawn looked up at the moon, "Sure is beautiful, huh, always there even when you can't see it, it really is amazing,"

Ash smirked, "Yeah, the moon is pretty cool, but I've always been more of a sunshine type of guy myself,"

Dawn smiled and rolled her eyes, "Yeah, you always are so positive. It's nice,"

Ash laughed, "Well as you say, there's never any need to worry,"

Ash took a deep breath, "Hey Dawn, we need to talk" Ash turned his attention to Pikachu and turned his head, sending a message to Pikachu to give him some privacy. His partner got the memo and ran off

"We are talking?" Dawn said puzzled

Ash cleared his throat, "About earlier… before I faced Tobias,"

"Oh… heh… yeah" Dawn said nervously, playing with her hair

Ash just decided to confess to her, "I… I know you like me, and I… I think you're pretty, you're an amazing trainer and a good friend and someone who I-"

Dawn cut off Ash by hugging him, and Ash grabbed her head and pulled her into a kiss.

Brock just blinked his eyes in disbelief, amazed how Ash Ketchum of all people managed to land a girl before he did. He sighed and turned away, he did NOT need to see anymore of that scene. He was going to find another room tonight, because while he was jealous, Brock was not gonna ruin Ash's night.

The next morning on the ferry back to Pallet,

"So Ash, how'd you sleep?" Brock inquired

"Never better Brock, but I had a dream wake me up. I was winning the champions league and then boom! I was awake, I really hate that feeling,"

"Ha! Tell me about it!" Dawn said, "I had a dream where I was being recgonized as the greatest coordinator ever to live, and then I woke up! It's the most annoying thing, I swear!"

Brock just rolled his eyes, "Well I'm sure both of those dreams will be recgonized. In the meantime, enjoy the scenery,"

"Oh, by the way Brock, there's something that Dawn and I want to tell you,"

"What's that?" Brock said already knowing what Ash would say

"We're a couple now, like Dawn's my girlfriend now." Ash said with red cheeks

"Oh…. well I'll be, Ash I'm so proud of you!" Brock gave Ash a crisp high five.

"Ahem!" Dawn cleared her throat, "I'm right here you know?"

Brock smiled at them "Well you picked very well Dawn, I'm happy for both of you guys. Seriously!"

"Thanks Brock!" Dawn said

"You guys do need to tell your parents, it's not cool to lie to them or leave them in the dark about something like this," Brock lectured them

"Fine, we will." Ash said reluctantly

"Now that's the spirit, Ash, I know your mom can be a handful sometimes, but she'll be so proud of you!"

Ash nodded, "Yeah, I should tell Misty also,"

Brock's eyes widened, "DO NOT TELL HER!"

Ash brushed Brock off, "I know about her feelings, I'm gonna have to let her down eventually, and it's unfair of me to continue to pretend she has a chance,"

Ash squeezed Dawn's hand and she nodded, having sympathy for the situation

"How'd you find out?"

"You and her hung out with me when I visited Kanto a while back, and I just noticed her actions towards me more and more. I put two and two together pretty quickly,"

"Well, alright Ash, you know best," Brock spoke at Ash

—-

Soon enough, the group arrived at Twinleaf. And after a short walk, they stood at the front door of Dawn's house.

Ash and Dawn looked at eachother and opened the door

"Well, lets go tell your mom,"

Ash and Dawn walked in at the same time, and Johanna looked at Ash and Dawn up and down and smiled at the two of them.

"Are you guys dating?" Johanna asked with a giggle

"What? How on earth did you know so fast?" Dawn said in awe

"Moms have ways…" Johanna said with a shrug

"Well… are you ok with this?" Dawn asked nervously

"Of course! Why would I not be?" Johanna asked

"And that's why you're such an amazing mom," Dawn said sweetly

"Ummm hi Ms Berlitz, I know you already know me but I'm dating your daughter now,"

"Take good care of her Ash, but I'm sure you are,"

"Of course!"

"Well, what's your plans now? Ash, I heard you'll be making a run at the champions league soon enough! Dawn, plan on going with him?"

Dawn nodded

"And what's the plan after that?" Johanna inquired

Ash just shrugged, "Not sure! Guess it just depends on what happens later down the line in the matches,"

"That's a good answer, you don't need to plan everything so far in advance," Johanna advised

"Well, anyways I think Dawn and I are going to talk to my own mom and tell her the news, so mind if we use your phone?" Ash asked

"Not at all!" Johanna said with a smile

"Well Dawn, lets go introduce you to my mom"

Meanwhile: In a time outside any dimension, forever away and an eternity ago.

Cyrus walked around the rock he was on. How long had he been out? A day? A week? A month?

It was hard to tell, but he guessed it must have been at least a month because his fingernails were longer then they've been in his entire life.

Cyrus sighed and took in his situations, if he were to reach Giratina who was the only sentient creature here, and his only way out he'd need some assistance. Cyrus reached for his belt of poke balls, only to find it missing.

But he needed no assistance anyways, because a large shadow passed overhead.

Cyrus gulped, but he had a good idea of what was ahead. It could be none other then the lord of the Distortion realm himself. The king of shadows, Giratina

"Why….." a voice resonated through Cyrus's head

Cyrus turned around, looking for someone. Anyone, what could be alive in this realm other then…

"Cyrus….. What do you want…." a louder tone resonated through his head

"Oh mighty Giratina, I seek your help! I desire revenge on the one known as Ash Ketchum, I desire a new world. And I think you can help, I desire a new world where I can re make it with your permission, and you can even rule over it!" Cyrus spoke calmly, despite being slightly terrified underneath the surface

"Those terms….. Are acceptable….. For too long I've been away from my throne. Tell me Cyrus, do you know who the god of all pokemon is?" The voice questioned Cyrus

"Why Arceus of course?" Cyrus said confused

"NO! It was me! I was the first! I was the one who hatched out of the egg, Arceus was my younger brother, but he betrayed me and framed me as the evil one! Arceus was the one who turned his back on me long ago" The voice spoke angrily

"I…. I'm sorry…. I also know how it feels to lose, and I think we can pull ourselves up together,"

"Well, you'll be pleased to know Ash Ketchum will be attacked by Dialga any second now due to him violating the sacredness of time. Within a week or so, Dialga will be out of the picture. And with my assistance, we can take down Palkia, and then we take Arceus at the throne of creation." The voice boomed inside Cyrus's head

"What's the throne of creation?" inquired Cyrus

"What it sounds like." The voice spoke plainly

"Well, here's to a new alliance," Cyrus said

"May our partnership be fruitful and give us what we both desire. And Cyrus, if you betray me I'll wipe you from existence"

Cyrus just nodded
