Chapter 3
Izuku and Ahra woke up early in the morning like always, waking up at 4:00 am. They stretched after they stood up, Izuku patting the predator mutt, Inko, who was delivered a day ago.
The mutt made a happy noise as her food bowl and water bowl were filled while she received a head pat. Izuku then went to their closet, taking out a couple of items while Ahra walked to a crate.
She took out a package of wild boar meat and a container of chicken eggs. Izuku opened up a hatch in the roof of the room before he filled up a fire pit which was installed into the room.
Ahra attached a vent tube to the hatch opening, turning it on as the fire was lit, the smoke being sucked into the vent and out into the air outside. They set up a spit roast and a hanging pan which hung over the fire.
Izuku spiced the boar meat before hanging it on the spit roast, Ahra making an omelette mix while they let the meat cook. It was rather strange that they did this, well, it would be strange for normal people to do this when they have a modern kitchen near them.
But this was much better in their opinion, the tribal way of cooking was a luxury to them. Plus it allowed them time to get ready for the day.
Izuku and Ahra opened up a secondary closet, pulling their specially tailored uniforms out and they began getting dressed after taking a quick shower.
Izuku put on a tank top under his button up shirt, in place of a tie he hung his necklace around his neck, he also put on a pair of red shoes he bought on a trip to a clothing store.
He found them to be similar to a pair of shoes he wore from before his life in the Yautja tribe. He went back to watching the food as Ahra remade his dread locks, which he had to undo when washing his hair.
Ahra wore the female uniform but instead of a tie she wore her necklaces, just like Izuku did. They both also wore a couple of hidden weapons which they were given permission to bring along.
Once the boar meat was nearly finished Izuku poured the omelette mix into the hanging pan and watched the pan until the omelettes were finished.
They ate breakfast, did the dishes and then went to the living room to rest on the couch after finishing up their hygiene routine. Their classmates joined them soon as it was now 6:30 am and they themselves had to get up early so they could get breakfast.
"Good morning you two, you get up earlier than all of us, don't you?" Iida asked, smiling as he greeted the two, the predator mutt, who was lying on Izuku's lap, looked at Iida, still not used to the others.
"We had to cook breakfast, boar meat takes a while to cook. Especially the amount we eat." Ahra explained as she answered Iida, with a nod as a greeting while Izuku was speaking in Yautjan to Inko, making sure the mutt knew not to hurt their classmates.
Katsuki walked into the room and he sat on a chair next to the couch.
"So, Izuku, I know you brought that hell hound of yours here but, what exactly is her name? You told me that she was a female but never told me her name." The ash blonde said, looking at the alien dog.
"Her name is Inko, I named her after my mother." The human Yautja said, while he held onto a leash as he let Inko sniff Katsuki.
"Inko, Katsuki is a friend, do not harm him. Do not harm the others either." Izuku said in the Yautja language, it was always strange how he spoke the language, he had no mandibles yet he still could make the clicking noises.
"How do you do the clicking noises? No offense but it's super weird." Kaminari asked as he looked at Izuku with a strange look.
"Oh, That is kind of hard to explain, I had a difficult time with making them when I was younger, I just trained my vocals so I could produce the clicks by tensing the back of my throat a certain way and breathing out at different speeds." Izuku said.
"It sounds weird but I never had to explain it before." He added sheepishly.
"I never really questioned it myself, All I know is that he learned how to act and talk like a Yautja and worked well to achieve fluency." Ahra said with a small laugh.
"Would you mind teaching me sometime? How to speak Yautja, I mean." Kirishima asked, Izuku nodding in reply.
"The Yautja language would be hard to teach but we can start with simple words. Like Paya, it has two meanings, God, and Warrior." Izuku explained, giving Inko another pat on the head and a treat.
"I wonder what we're gonna do today in class, I know today is more of orientation, but that can't be it." Ochaco said, sitting down next to Ahra.
"Knowing Aizawa he won't take us to orientation, he'd want to test our skills. He's seen some of Ahra's and mine but he wants to push us to our limits." Izuku replied, giving the class a heads up.
"Also, Momo, you know how your quirk can make any material as long as you know the atomic structure of it and whatnot?" Izuku asked the ponytail girl.
"Yes, why?" She asked in reply.
"I wonder if I give you the knowledge of what yautja armor is made of, if you could replicate it." Izuku said, having a theory in his mind.
"I believe I would be able to. But, isn't there some rule against it?" Momo asked.
"Well, if we trust someone we can share some secrets, but only if they swear to secrecy. Since Izuku and I can become the leaders of our own tribe and we see you all as potential tribe members, despite being human, we could share it when you are part of the tribe." Ahra answered.
"Why bring it up, I'm sure I'm not strong enough." Momo said, doubting herself a little.
"That's what training is for." Izuku said, giving her a thumbs up, then a beeping was heard and Ahra pulled out a small disc like the holograms that everyone got when they heard that they were accepted to UA.
"It's my mother, and your father." Ahra said to Izuku and she answered the call, placing the disc on the coffee table as the holographic forms of N'kai and T'aruk had popped up.
Izuku and Ahra greeted their respective parents with a Yautja Salute, which was returned quickly after.
"It is good to see you both, I am not here to speak of any emergency but we heard it was customary in Japan to wish one's offspring a good day, and good luck on their first day of schooling." N'kai said, speaking in the Yautja language.
"We are also glad to see you both are acclimated to your new surroundings, why Nezu didn't let you stay on your ship for rest is beyond me though." T'aruk added.
"Nezu said we were free to do so anytime, we just wanted to build trust among our classmates seeing as we haven't interacted with many humans." Ahra explained.
"That is honorable, but, that is besides the point. We hope you both enjoy your time on Earth, and at UA." N'kai said with a happy set of clicks.
"Don't forget to train. If you can get Nezu's permission we can set up another hunting ground on that planet you got your stuffed serpent from. Anyways, Good hunting." T'aruk added quickly, they all saluted each other and the call ended, Ahra returning the holo disc to a secret cargo bag on her person.
"I understood like.. none of what you guys were talking about." Sero said as he finished a cup of coffee.
"I don't think any of us will understand their language for a while." Kaminari replied with a chuckle.
"It would take like, a century to learn the language, two if we have to." Jiro joked.
"Well if you ingest yautja blood you could live longer than normal humans." Izuku said, looking at Jiro with a serious face.
"..What?" Everyone else aside from Ahra asked.
"Yautja can live for centuries, the oldest Yautja Elder is over 3000 years old." Ahra said, serious.
"Since I have a Yautja heart, my blood is now that of a Yautja, so technically speaking I can live for centuries, Ahra here is like, 218 years old. Yautja mature at 200 years old. The only reason I'm not considered a young blood is because Humans mature faster." Izuku explained.
"You are a crazy Bastard Izuku, but I can respect that." Katsuki said, sighing.
"You are all awake, good, I'm not going to waste time, go and get these track suits on and meet me in the track field." Aizawa said as he walked in, tossing a stack of track suits onto the coffee table.
"Izuku, Ahra, you can just go get yours on since you already have some." He said to the Yautja duo.
The students all nodded, despite not even being in their classroom, they went to their respective rooms and got changed before Izuku and Ahra led them to the Track Field.
"Are we not going to question the fact that Ahra and Izuku are technically immortal?" Sato asked, still weirded out about that.
"I've come to expect that we will not understand a lot about them." Shoto answered. They lined up upon Aizawa's instructions, Ahra and Izuku standing up straight as if they were being met by one of their elders.
"Ok, you got here sooner than expected, looks like Izuku and Ahra are already being good influences. As you know today is orientation, but we're not going to bother with that as it is better to jump into the true purpose of the hero course." Aizawa began as he threw Izuku a ball, which was caught with ease.
"We're going to test your limits first." Aizawa added as he then instructed Izuku to stand in a circle and throw the ball. "Use your quirk and make sure to use everything you've got."
"Jiro, cover your ears." Izuku ordered, Jiro instantly covering her ears since they were sensitive to loud noises.
The green haired hunter nodded, he got into a throwing position and wound up, after a second his veins shined a bright neon green as did his eyes, activating his quirk he threw the ball, the sound barrier being broken three times over as the ball went flying into orbit.
Everyone aside from Ahra were covering their ears, after a half a minute they recovered and Aizawa looked at the tracker.
"Infinity." He said, showing everyone.
"That ball is probably on Xeno Prime by now, imbedded into the skull of a serpent." Ahra laughed.
"Or it burned up as it left the atmosphere." Katsuki suggested with his own laugh.
"Quiet! Anyways, you've got to know your maximum. I want you all to push yourselves to your limits today, using your quirks as well, I know Ahra doesn't have a quirk but that's because of her natural genetic code. Even so, if you don't push yourselves to the limits, I'll expel you." Aizawa said, making everyone aside from Ahra and Izuku nervous.
For the course of an hour and a half after that they went through several tests of strength, speed, and endurance, Aizawa having to stop Izuku and Ahra after a few minutes in the endurance test due to their supernatural endurance.
In the end Izuku and Ahra tied for first, followed by everyone else in a mixed result with Tooru placing last.
"Well, you all have great potential so I'm not going to expel any of you. I'm going to sleep, go spend the rest of your day in your dorm building if you want." Aizawa said with a tired sigh as he went to the teacher's lounge.
"For such a great underground hero, he needs a slight attitude adjustment." Izuku whispered as they all went back to their dorms. Izuku and Ahra went to a training room, they were joined by Katsuki, Iida, Kirishima, and Sato.
Those four wanting to get some training done with the duo, the rest joining them later on.
Chapter end, sorry if this wasn't very action filled. The next chapter will be better. (I've been kind of upset with some stuff in my normal life and it is affecting how I am writing for today.)
