Chapter Seven

Fatal Battle

"I have you now!" Iida yelled as he charged at Mina in the attempt to capture her, only for her to quickly slide out of the way with the use of her acid quirk spilling from the holes under her shoes. "You can't escape forever, villain. I may not be able to capture the bomb thanks to those knights, but I can still capture you."

"Starting to have second thoughts about having those knight things protect the bomb." Mina thought as she crouched down a bit towards the ground. "Speed-wise, I can't keep up with him. And if I use the knights to go after him, then he'll go after the bomb. All I can do is Lily some time until the round is over." She thought before noticing Iida charging at her again, only this time he started darting left and right in a zigzag pattern. Mina tried her best to keep Iida in her field of vision, but the moment he was getting close, he soon vanished from her sight.

"What the? Where did he-" Before she could finish, she felt herself being pinned onto the ground. The moment she turned her head to the side, she could see Iida behind her as he was standing on top of her with a foot on her back.

"You have been bested, villain. Right now, Bakugo should have taken your comrade down by now…at least I think he did." He said before noticing Mina struggling to break free from his hold. The young man reached for the capturing tape from his pocket and was about to place it around her wrists, only to be sent flying off to the side from a kick to the face by Lily.

"Okay, good. I made it just in time." Lily said before helping Mina up to her feet. "You okay?"

"I'm fine, but what happened to your clothes!?" Mina asked as she scanned Lily up and down. "It's like you just got out of an exploding building!"

"You can thank Bakugo for that. I was not expecting him to use a giant explosion on me…twice." She said as Mina noticed purple-colored particles of energy coming from the injuries she received before. From what she could tell, the second to third-degree burns were healing.

"Wait, you're using that gem thing that you used on me before?"

"Um…yeah, sure. Let's go with that." She said before noticing Iida pulling himself up from the pile of metal scraps he was kicked into. "Okay, listen. Bakugo is currently knocked out, but I didn't place the capturing tape on him. You did a good job keeping him distracted. I'll take it from here. You go and capture Bakugo."

"Are you sure about that? I mean, Iida's pretty fast. Not even using my acid to slide around could I avoid him."

"I'll be fine." She said before pointing into the direction of where she left Bakugo. "Just get him before time runs out."

"Alright…" She said before quickly heading off into the direction Lily pointed towards. The moment Mina left, Iida finally pulled himself out of the pile of scrap metal and glared at the bunny girl…only to quickly look away due to the way she was dressed.

"W-Would you please cover yourself! You're supposed to be presentable as a U.A. Student!"

"Not my fault. Blame Bakugo for the way my clothes look like right now." Lily said before adjusting her breast a bit along with her shirt. "When you're in a fight, you can't worry about what happens to your clothing." She said before getting into a fighting stance. "All that matters is taking down your opponent before he or she takes you down."

Back to where All Might and the rest of Class 1A were located. The group was taken by surprise by the fight with Lily and Bakugo. Basically from seeing Lily tank through two of Bakugo's destructive explosions from his gauntlets, and how she was able to take him down with just one strike from her sword. It would've been a nice and epic moment…if it weren't for the fact that her clothes ended up being ruined by the explosions, and Mineta and Kaminari gawking and somewhat cheering from seeing Lily's clothes torn up during that time.

"She can't seriously continue fighting like that…can she?" Uraraka asked as All Might simply nodded.

"Much as I would like to stop the match so she can change her attire, but this is also another lesson that you all will need to learn." He said before looking at his students. "No matter how much damage your hero costume may take, a hero must always do their jobs in saving people. Regardless of the outcome of their battle."

"All Might is right," Momo said, though she would be blushing a bit. "Though it would be wise to have an extra set of clothes for her to change into when she and Mina return."

"I can agree with you on that. This is why I have a spare gym uniform for her to wear for the time being. This time we got the right size for her, thanks to Midnight."

"Seriously, though. I was not expecting her to take Bakugo down like that." Kirishima said with an energetic smile on his face. "Make me feel pumped for when Sato and I start our match."

"I must say, she was shining much brighter than me with that barrier of hers. Though that kind of vanished the moment she pulled that sword out of nowhere." Aoyama said. "Though she needs a hero costume."

"But she did look badass tanking through both of Bakugo's attacks," Kaminari said as Mineta nodded in agreement.

"Badass and an uber hottie with a nice body. It's just like the girls off of fighting beat 'em up games where they lose their clothes the more damage they receive." Mineta said as he drooled a bit out of excitement.

"You pervert." Hagakure said after smacking Mineta upside his head.

"Alright class, pay attention." All Might said as the class went silent and returned their attention to the fight between Lily and Iida.

The sound of Iida's engine quirk and Lily's movements echoed throughout the area they were in as the two collided against each other. A stalemate was made between Iida trying to kick her with his leg but was met with resistance by Lily's fist. The force behind their attacks forced them to be pushed back away from each other as Iida quickly lunged towards Lily in an attempt to pin her to the ground. The pseudo servant took notice of this as the magic circuits in her legs lit up and quickly moved to the side. Just as the circuit line in her right began to glow and deliver a jab to his chest, she soon heard the sound of his engines rev up as he quickly delivered a roundhouse kick to her head. Upon being hit in the head, she was sent sliding to the side a foot away from him. Iida quickly stood up after landing the hit as he noticed lines appearing on her face along with some blood trailing down her forehead.

"Those lines. I take it your quirk allows you to increase your body's strength, defense, and speed. It would explain how you're able to keep up with me. It's almost similar to that of Midoriya's quirk during the quirk assessment test. But you seem to have more control over it than he does. No broken bones or anything like that."

"Unlike Midoriya, and most of the people in this school, I've been training my ass off after my eighth year in the slums," Lily said as she placed her hands behind her head. "If given the chance, I could take down anyone in this school with little to no effort depending."

"That would be physically impossible. Each teacher has been training at U.A High School before becoming pro-heroes. To make such a bold claim is an act of a child with too much pride. But I shouldn't be surprised. You're the villain killer after all." Iida said as it caused Lily's carefree attitude to change slowly. "You have the nerve to think that you can just come to this school and expect to be a hero with what you've done? Someone like you shouldn't be allowed to be in this school."

"...People like you piss me off."

"Excuse me?"

"Rich kids that think they know better." Lily said as she glared at Iida. "Given the way you present yourself before getting into your hero costume and after, you come from a rich family. You barely had to work to where you are now other than training in some special gym that your family has. Other than that, you're just a rich kid with nothing to go for, but his family's name."

"You have a lot of nerve to say something like that, villain," Iida said as Lily heard the engines in his legs. "While it may be true that I come from a rich family. That doesn't mean I'm some spoiled rich kid. I shouldn't be surprised that someone like you would be narrow-minded to think that people in this school are like that." He said before vanishing from Lily's sight for a split second. He soon appeared in front of her and delivered a heel dropkick to Lily's head. As he did that, he noticed that the circuit lines appeared on her head as she staggered backward from the force behind it.

"Dammit, I didn't think he was that fast." She thought before feeling him kick her in the ribs, causing her to be sent tumbling off to the side.

"You're nothing more than a villain trying to play a hero! You are a mockery of decent people trying to live a good life!" he said before vanishing once again and kneed her in the stomach. The pseudo servant let out a gasp of air before being sent tumbling onto a slab of steel. The moment she staggered to her feet, she didn't have time to counterattack as Iida appeared in front of her and began delivering barrages of swift kicks to her body as she brought her arms up to defend herself as best as possible. "Someone like you who enjoys killing doesn't belong here! You belong in prison with all the other criminals!"

"This fucker is driving me-" Her thoughts were interrupted by Iida breaking her guard by grabbing her wrist, keeping them apart, and delivering a strong roundhouse kick to her face. The moment the kick landed on her face, she was sent flying off to the side before tumbling to the ground before stopping and going limp.

"You were reckless in thinking you could take me on by yourself. By the time Mina returns, you both will lose this fight."

"...Artoria."

"You're going to go all out on him, aren't you?"

"Not with Excalibur…I'm in the mood to kick his ass with my fist."

"...I'll allow it. But I will stop you if you go too far." She said as the magic circuits line appeared throughout her body as she staggered to her feet. "I'm releasing your restraints on your body. Level two should be enough to deal with his speed."

"Good. Because I'm going to make him eat his self-righteous bullshit." She said as a grin appeared on her face.

"You should give up now. You may have some skills in combat, but speed is something you don't excel at from what I'm seeing."

"Oh really?" She said before taking a step forwards and vanishing from Iida's field of sight. The young man looked around to see what Lily was, only to feel himself being grabbed by his head and slammed face onto the ground. "Because I think I've gotten a little bit faster than you have right about now."

"How did you-" Before he could ask, Lily quickly delivered a swift kick to his ribcage to get him to stand up. The moment he stood up and was sent staggering backward, Lily appeared in front of him, took up a boxing stance, and began assaulting him with barrages of punches. Each punch she delivered left a dent in the armor parts of his hero costume, but for the parts that weren't covered the pain felt like he was being hit by a bullet. Iida would try his best to protect himself from the sudden speed and power behind her punches by using his arms, but in doing so the armor around his arms started to dent and crack.

"What's the matter, rich boy!? Is that all you got!?" Lily yelled as she quickly dodge a right hook from Iida and countered with an uppercut to his chin. "You talked all that shit earlier, but it seems that all nothing more than just talk!"

"Don't underestimate me!" he said before his engines revved up again as he quickly pulled himself back in an attempt to get some distance from her. Sadly, his attempt was met with failure as she appeared in front of him again and continued her assault upon him. As this continued, Iida would notice some blood dripping and scattering on the ground and his clothes. At first, he thought it was from his arms, but noticed that the blood was coming from Lily's fist due to her punching his armor.

"Are you insane!? If you keep this up, you'll end up" Before he could finish his sentence, he felt a piece of his helmet come off of his upper right head and eye. His eyes widened upon feeling this and noticed the devilish glare she was giving him.

"You think I give a shit about what happens to my hands?" She said while continuing her barrage of punches. "I've fought and killed just to survive in this stupid society of heroes and villains. I've done things that I'm not proud of, killed just because I didn't want to be killed, stole because I was poor and starving. A person like you who has never experienced the hardship of being in my situation." Lily quickly broke Iida's guard by performing an uppercut to move his arms apart. The moment she saw an opening, she quickly started to sway from left to right while keeping her guard up as she moved in close to him. The moment she was close, she quickly performed the Dempsey roll by onto his midsection up to his chest. After the sixth right hook to his right side, she delivered the finishing blow to his face with a strong right hook and sent him flying off into an abandoned building through a wall.

"Not bad with holding back," Artoria said as Lily pulled her right hand up as she saw her fingers were broken. "Though next time you might want to put your armor on when it comes to fighting against someone with an armor of their own."

"Yeah…not one of my best decisions, but he pissed me off with that self-righteous crap." She said before feeling her ears twitch upon hearing a fair of footsteps coming from the building she sent Iida through. She smirks upon seeing the battered-up boy staggering to make his way out. "I'm surprised you're still standing. Then again if you didn't have that armor on, then you might have a few broken ribs or so."

"I-If you think something like this will keep me down, then you are sadly mistaken, villain." He said before removing his battered helmet and tossing it to the side.

"Well, I can't deny your determination. I like that in a man. Shame that it had to be someone that pisses me off." She said before walking towards Iida with the magic circuits glowing on her body. "And what I hate the most is people who piss me off."

"This is bad. It's bad enough her punch could deal this much damage to my armor. If my armor didn't endure that last attack, I shudder to think about what would happen if that punch landed." He thought before getting into a crouching stance. The moment he was in that stance, flames burst out from the exhaust pipes from his legs as his engines rev up even more than before. "It's time I put an end to this fight."

"Couldn't agree more, rich boy," Lily said before taking up a boxing stance once again. There was a moment of tension and silence between the two fighters for a couple of seconds before Iida made the first move.

"Recipro Burst!" he yelled as he launched himself towards Lily at a lightning-fast speed. The moment he was close within striking range, he quickly brought his leg up and tried to deliver a powerful kick to her ribcage. Lily quickly ducks underneath the kick and counters with a bone-crushing uppercut to his chin. The punch made contact with his chin as it sent Iida flying into the air for a good ten seconds before coming down and slamming front first onto the ground. The moment he was on the ground, Lily quickly ran over to him and placed the capturing take around his wrist.

"The match is over!" yelled All Might over the speaker box of a floating drone hovering over the training field. "The winners are Lily and Mina!" He said as Lily let out a sigh of relief.

"Talk about giving me a run for my money." She said before sitting down onto Iida's back. "Not a bad fight, shame his personality ruined it."

"You did a good job. I'm surprised you didn't use Excalibur on him as you did with Bakugo." Artoria said as she noticed Lily pulling out a soda can from her tail with her non-broken hand and began to drink it.

"Had to use Avalon and Excalibur on Bakugo. If I only used Avalon in my fight with Bakugo, then I would've used it on Iida." She said before wincing from the pain of her hand recovering. "Wish I didn't feel pain from Avalon's healing ability."

"Pain is strength. It helps you learn how to deal with it and press on into battle."

"Easy for you to say, you're not the one feeling it." The moment she said that her ears began to twitch as she heard a pair of footsteps heading her way. She quickly turned around to see Mina carrying a passed-out Bakugo on her back, though she would notice that Mina would have surprise expressions on their faces.

"Something wrong?"

"Um…you're glowing," Mina said as the pseudo servant looked over her body as she noticed the circuit lines on her body were visible.

"Right…um…pay no attention to that. This is just my…um quirk being active due to the fight I had with Iida." She said before noticing the color from her magic circuits vanishing. "There we go. All better."

"...Seriously, what is your quirk!?" Mina asked before walking up close to the bunny girl as she was face to face. "I thought you said that you can only create weapons and fly around?"

"Again I don't know much about my quirk other than what I told you!" Lily said as she backed up a bit from Mina, but she did notice an unconvinced expression on the pink girl's face. "I'm telling the truth."

"Liar!"

"I'm not lying!"

"Then why are you backing up and getting all flustered~?" Mina said as she noticed a blush appearing on her face.

"I…I don't have to take this!" Lily said as she walked over to Iida's knocked-out body and picked him up onto her shoulder. "W-We should get going. Don't want to let the others wait on us!" She said as the magic circuits in her legs lit up before darting off towards class 1A.

"Hey! Get back here! You can't run away from my question!" Mina yelled before running after the bunny girl.
