Episode 556: Battling Into the Hall of Fame
On the very next day, the campers were all having some fun on the beach. Team Froakie all wore their swimsuits. Calem wore a black pair of trunks with blue and white stripes on the side as Serena wore a dark pink bikini. Clemont wore a blue and white striped old-fashioned one-piece swimsuit and cap. Bonnie wore a Slowbro swimsuit. Shauna wore a light green one-peice swimsuit, Trevor wore a yellow-orange pair of trunks, Tierno wore a green, white, and black one-piece old-fashioned swimsuit. Trevor wore a leaf green pair of trunks.
Sora and Kairi laughed as they splashed each other. Riku and Naminé did the same thing.
The Digimon went and joined in on the fun as Carmelita wore a dark blue bikini with her badge on the side. She did some sunbathing as the Panda King did some meditating. Team Natsu were dressed in some swimsuits as well. Natsu wore orange trunks, Lucy wore a white bikini with a pink flower on her right breast, and a pink flower on the bottom. Erza wore a black bikini. Gray wore blue trunks, and Wendy wore a green bikini with a frilly skirt. Happy wore dark blue trunks. Charla wore a dark red bikini with the bottom extending to her knees.
Matthew has his hood over his face and he polished his swords and knives. He then started to polish his guns. Hackmon and Herrismon came out from his device.
"Not polishing the Keyblades?" Herrismon asked.
"I can polish those later," Matthew said.
"May I ask you some questions?" Hackmon asked.
"Shoot," Matthew said. "What are your questions?"
"What are we doing here?" Hackmon asked. "And why are we following them for? We've been following them for the last several days, and you haven't explained your reason to us once."
"I'll answer your question with a question. Would you believe if I said that I sense something about them, especially the one with the brown, spiky-hair?" Matthew asked. Herrismon looked at Hackmon as he kept looking at Matthew.
"What about him?" Hackmon asked.
"What does he have to do with us?" Herrismon asked.
"He has potential. I can sense it off of him. I'm not sure on how to explain it, but..." Mathew paused.
"You think he can use the Keyblade, don't you?" Herrismon asked.
"Somehow, yes. I don't know how, but he does," Matthew said.
"Can you be certain that he summon his Keyblade?" Hackmon asked.
"When and how, I don't have an answer for, but it will make itself known one day," Matthew said.
"What if you're wrong?" Hackmon asked.
"I'm not wrong," Matthew firmly stated.
Hackmon knew better than to doubt him, but he had to have faith in Matthew's judgement. He shuts his eyes, silently praying that he's right.
Meanwhile, a small figure is running through the forest and he trips. He lands on the ground and dusts himself off. He is a boy dressed as a clown. He wore a red sleeveless bodysuit and a red hat, and has brown hair. He wore a big white bow tie, white gloves and white shoes. His body suit has a white diamond and he has orange marks over his eyes.
"Whoops," the clown said, chuckling. "Fell over again." Just then, Munchlax came running forward, passing the clown. "Hey, where's the fire?"
"Munchlax!" Munchlax said.
"Huh?" The clown asked, tilting his head. Just when he was about to take off, he heard something. He went to see what it was, and he saw a bunch of anthropomorphic dogs carrying some crates.
"Put your backs into it, ya mutts! The boss wants this stuff ready by the end of the week!" One of the dogs shouted. "Move it!" Just then, he saw Muggshot walk on his knuckles.
"Alright, ya jerks! Listen up!" Muggshot shouted. All of the dogs stopped. "The Brotherhood of Darkness and Team Shadow has given us a shot to set up camp up here! And this Kaly, or whatever it is will soon learn that Muggshot is calling the shots, and if anybody has a problem with that will be eating dirt through a straw!"
"Wow, that's one bad dog; and an ugly one, too," the clown said.
"And you're one nosey clown," a voice said. He turned to see a clown wearing a black suit with a blue spade on the front, and wearing a black cape. He also has a purple mohawk. "Miss me, Kid Klown?"
"Blackjack? What are you doing here?" Kid Klown asked.
"What, you think you can be rid of me? I'm like a boomerang; no matter how far you throw me, I always come back," Blackjack said. Kid Klown was backing up when he felt something right behind him.
"Uh-oh," Kid Klown said, spotting a very obese boxer wearing orange shorts, and is wearing a silver crown and a bandage on his stomach. He also wore purple boxing gloves. He punched Kid Klown, knocking him out.
"Good work, King Hippo. Better lock him up, and do a better job at it this time," Blackjack said. King Hippo grabbed him and carried him back to the others. The two villains came before the bulldog as he looked at what they brought back.
"What's this supposed to be?" Muggshot asked.
"A spy, Muggshot. King Hippo and I found him snooping around, so we knocked him out before he knew what hit him," Blackjack said.
"Ya think he's with those do-gooders?" Muggshot asked.
"Kid Klown has got to be. We'll have to keep him under watch," Blackjack said. "And be on the lookout for anyone else snooping around."
"A solid idea," a voice said. It turns out that it was Kefka who said it. "We can't have anyone sniffing around like a Growlithe, because it'll be bad for us. We'll have to send them with this kid here."
"Why are you tagging along?" Muggshot asked.
"To make sure nothing goes wrong like with what happened to some of our lackeys; so Master Mateus wants us to make sure nothing goes wrong this time. And he thinks Team Flare will just show up and launch their attack on us," Kefka said.
"So? If those chumps show up, then they'll be eating lead," Muggshot said.
"Put the heavy artillery away, and think for a moment, muscle dog. If you shoot them, they'll leave blood behind, so that'll lead them right to us. Besides, we should be thinking with our brains before we start flexing our muscles," Kefka said, chuckling. Muggshot whistled.
"Youse! Put this runt somewhere he ain't gonna be a problem, and gag him!" Muggshot said.
"Sure thing, boss!" The dog said, taking Kid Klown in his arms. He entered a small room and tied him up to a chair, and gagged him with a piece of tape over his mouth.
Unknown to them, they were being watched by Team Flare. Among them is a woman with teal-blue hair in oval shaped pig tails on the sides of her head, with technologically blue advanced glasses covering her eyes. She sports a red and white long sleeved shirt with red shoulder pads and a tie that is about the same shade blue as her hair. She also wore a red and black skirt with a belt that has the Team Flare symbol adorning it. Short red tights can be seen underneath. She also wore red and black tall high heeled boots.
"Miss Mabel, should we move in?" One of the male Team Flare grunts asked.
"Not yet. We're going to wait for Lysandre's orders," Mabel said.
"Yes, ma'am," the Team Flare grunt said.
Mabel made contact with Team Flare HQ.
"Mabel here, I have a visual," Mabel reported.
Over to Team Flare HQ, Aliana is sitting in a small room. With her are three other people; one of them is a pale man, who has orange, oddly-cut hair, resembling the Team Flare symbol, with a goatee. He wore orange goggles, with a small microphone on his right ear. He wore an orange tie with his orange suit and a pair of shoes, unlike boots other Team Flare members wear. He also wore a rubber glove on his left hand, while his other glove is sticking out of his left pocket on the suit.
Another is a woman with purple hair and purple lipstick on. She wore some purple-tinted advanced glasses, a purple tie, an orange suit (with two shoulder pauldrons on) with a belt with the Team Flare logo on, some black tights and orange boots.
And the third woman has short green hair and green lipstick on. She wears advanced green goggles on her eyes, a green tie, an orange suit with a belt with the Team Flare logo on it, a pair of orange gloves and two high orange boots with black curls.
"What's your status, Mabel?" The man asked.
"I have an army in my sights. None of them seem to be human. I doubt they could be Digimon," Mabel said.
"Keep a close watch on them for now," the man instructed.
"Understood, Xerosic. Mabel out," Mabel said, cutting the transmission.
"You think it might be that Sora kid?" Aliana asked.
"I don't think so. He wouldn't make such a move. If I was a gambling man, I would say it has to be Team Shadow up to something again," Xerosic said.
"I agree," the woman with the purple hair said. "It was only a matter of time before they made themselves known again."
"Celosia has a point," the woman with the green hair agreed. "If Team Shadow is still operating in Kalos, then Sora Ketchum and his friends will show up again."
"And that's when Mabel will deal with him," Aliana said, clenching her fist. Celosia laughed.
"I take it that's a desire for vengeance, Aliana?" Celosia said, laughing.
"It will serve him right," Aliana said.
"We're getting off topic here," Xerosic said. "We should be continuing our research on the legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal," Xerosic said. "Bryony, won't you enlighten us a bit?"
"I'll be more than happy to," Bryony said. "As we all know, Xerneas and Yveltal are the keys to Team Flare's success, but there is a third key." The other scientists looked at one another.
"A third key?" Aliana asked.
"Explain it," Xerosic said.
"Gladly," Bryony said. "There is another legendary Pokémon to help make Team Flare's goal a success: Zygarde."
"Does Lysandre know about this?" Celosia asked.
"I passed this on his desk this morning, so he instructed me to continue on with the research on the matter," Bryony said.
"As soon as Mabel returns, we have work to do," Xerosic said.
Back in Kalos, the week was nearly up as the camp is down to two teams are tied for first. Professor Sycamore walks up to the campers.
"Good morning, campers!" Professor Sycamore greeted.
"Good morning!" The campers greeted back.
"As you all know, we are on our sixth day of our Pokémon Summer Camp! And that leads us to the final event: the Team Battle," Professor Sycamore announced as everyone all were getting excited about. "To those who are new to this, I shall be happy to explain. The Team Battle event works just like any tournaments. Teams will consist up to three, five, or seven trainers. During the event, substitutions are allowed after the battles, and you will each come up with a strategy meeting prior to the matches. Everyone can now have the strategy meeting before we begin! First, I would like to announce the first match-ups! We have Team Froakie versus Team Chikorita!" The everyone starts clapping. The teams started to have their strategy meeting.
"Is everyone reqdy?" Sora asked.
"I'm game, Sora," Karen said.
"How are we gonna go down?" Ventus asked.
"Okay, here it is. The first match will be me, Kairi, Riku, Lillie, Sawyer, Clemont, and Serena," Sora said.
"Just like the old days," Lillie said.
"What about the rest of us?" Elio asked.
"We'll worry about that after the battle," Clemont said. "I have Helioptile with me, so that's one Pokémon."
"I can use my Pancham," Serena said.
"And that makes two. We need five more, so that means Pikachu makes three," Sora said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Angel makes four," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"I can use Trevenant for this one," Riku said.
"I know Snowy will help cool things down," Lillie said.
"And that leaves my trusty partner," Sawyer said.
"Alright, we have our seven Pokémon. Let's go out and have some fun with this," Sora said.
Team Froakie agreed as they got ready a few minutes later. They were up against a five trainer team. They had three girls and two boys.
"On my left, we have Team Froakie, consisting of Sora, Kairi, Riku, Clemont, Lillie, Sawyer, and Clemont versus Team Chikorita, consisting of Ben, Lola, Mike, Sam, and Winnie," Professor Sycamore announced. Everyone all clapped. "Teams, choose your Pokémon and beginning battling!" Each member of the team took out a Pokéball (except for Sora and Kairi) and threw it.
"Go! Quilladin!" Ben called out.
"I choose you, Furfrou!" Lola shouted.
"Go! Watchog!" Mike called out.
"Go! Politoed!" Sam called out.
"Go! Sneasel!" Winnie called out.
Team Chikorita's Pokémon each came out. Sam's Politied is female, and Winnie's Sneasel is also female.
"Go! Pikachu!" Sora called out.
"You go, too, Angel!" Kairi called out.
"Go! Trevenant!" Riku called out.
"Go! Helioptile!" Clemont called out.
"Go! Snowy!" Lillie called out.
"Go! Pancham!" Serena called out.
"Go! Treecko!" Sawyer called out.
Pikachu and Angel simply entered the battlefield as the rest emerged from their Pokéballs.
"Quilladin! Use Pin Missle on Trevenant!" Ben ordered. Quilladin fired Pin Missle at the elder tree Pokémon.
"Trevenant! Use Will-O-Wisp to block it!" Riku ordered. Trevenant uses Will-O-Wisp to block the pins. "Your turn!"
"Snowy! Use Ice Beam on Watchog!" Lillie ordered.
"Helioptile! Use Thunder Shock on Politoed!" Clemont ordered.
Helioptile fired Thunder Shock as Snowy fired Ice Beam.
"Watchog! Use Detect!" Mike ordered.
"Politoed! Use Protect!" Sam ordered.
Watchog dodged by stepping to the side, and Politoed forms a protective barrier.
"Pancham! Use Arm Thrust on Sneasel!" Serena ordered.
"Treecko! Use Dragon Breath on Furfrou!" Sawyer ordered.
"Furfrou! Dodge it!" Lola called out. Furfrou jumped out of the way, but struck by Treecko's Dragon Breath.
"Sneasel! Use Metal Claw!" Winnie ordered. Sneasel came at Pancham, but the little panda Pokémon thrusts his hands onto Sneasel, dealing some heavy damage.
"Angel! Use Swift!" Kairi ordered. Angel unleashed Swift and the stars to pelt the five Pokémon at once.
"Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt on Politoed!" Sora ordered.
"Protect!" Sam ordered. Politoed forms a protective barrier around herself. Riku smirked as Politoed's Protect kicked in.
"Trevenant! Use Branch Poke!" Riku ordered. Trevenant poked into Politoed with its claw. "Good! Use Shadow Claw!" Trevenant slashed at Politoed, dealing some more damage.
"Politoed!" Sam gasped.
"I got your back, Sammy!" Ben said. "Quilladin! Use Shadow Claw on Trevenant!" Quilladin came at Trevenant with Shadow Claw.
"Snowy! Use Ice Beam!" Lillie ordered. Snowy fired Ice Beam, striking Quilladin, and taking it down for the count.
"Thanks, Lillie," Riku said.
"Anytime, Riku. That's another one you owed me," Lillie said.
"Don't celebrate yet. We have four more opponents to deal with," Riku said.
"I agree," Sawyer said. "Treecko! Use Bullet Seed!" Treecko fired Bullet Seed right at the opposing team's Pokémon.
"Use Detect!" Mike ordered.
"Use Protect!" Sam ordered.
Both Pokémon used their chosen moves to reflect their assault, but Furfrou and Sneasel weren't so lucky since they got hit by the seeds.
"Sneasel! Use Ice Punch on that Eevee!" Winnie ordered. Sneasel came at Angel with Ice Punch.
"Angel! Iron Tail!" Kairi ordered. Angel swings her tail, clashing with Ice Punch.
"Watchog! Use Crunch on Helioptile!" Mike ordered. Watchog charged at the lizard-like Pokémon with Crunch.
"Dodge with Dig!" Clemont ordered. Helioptile dug underneath Watchog before it got close enough "Thunder Shock from underneath!" Helioptile unleashed Thunder Shock, hitting Watchog, resulting in a paralysis.
"Pikachu! Use Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Pikachu came at Watchog, landing a hit.
"Angel! Use Headbutt!" Kairi ordered. Angel lands a headbutt onto Watchog, resulting in a another knockout.
"Sorry, girls, I'm out, too," Ben said.
"We'll make your loss mean something," Lola said. "Furfrou! Use Charge Beam on that Vulpix!" Furfrou fired Charge Beam, striking Snowy.
"Snowy!" Lillie gasped.
"Angel! Swift!" Angel fired Swift at the poodle Pokémon, dealing some damage.
"Thank you, Kairi," Lillie said.
"Anytime, Lillie," Kairi said.
"Sora, how about we combine our efforts?" Clemont suggested.
"Gotcha," Sora said. "Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!"
"Helioptile! Use Thunder Shock!" Clemont ordered.
Pikachu and Helioptile fired their attacks at the same time, creating one big stream of electricity.
"Use Protect!" Sam ordered.
"Furfrou! Get behind Politoed!" Lola called out.
"You too, Sneasel!" Winnie called out.
Both Furfrou and Sneasel got behind Politoed. Their attacks reached the frog Pokémon, so Politoed held on for as long as she could. Politoed started to pant once Protect has subsided.
"Serena, here's your chance!" Sora said.
"Right! Pancham! Use Dark Pulse on Politoed!" Serena ordered. Pancham unleashed Dark Pulse, landing a hit onto Politoed, resulting in a knockout.
"Way to go, Serena!" Kairi praised. Serena couldn't help but smile.
"Sora, how about you wrap this up?" Serena suggested.
"Gladly," Sora said. "Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Pikachu jumped and unleashed a Thunderbolt, shocking Sneasel and Furfrou, resulting in a double knockout.
"And that's it! Team Chikorita's Pokémon are all unable to battle, and the winners are Team Froakie!" Professor Sycamore announced.
"Sora, Kairi, way to go!" Natsu cheered.
"Natsu, we're neutral in this," Lucy said.
"Now, won't the next battle begin?" Professor Sycamore asked. Team Squirtle manages to take down Team Chespin using Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander. Team Chespin's Pokéball consisted of an Umbreon, a Litleo, and a Beedrill. The event raged on as Team Froakie, consisting of Sora, Kairi, Calem, Serena, Elio, Selene, and Karen using Lucario, Spritzee, Froakie, Fennekin, Incineroar, Primarina, and Blossom. Blossom made the finishing blow onto a Primeape with a Double Kick. Team Squirtle managed to take on a seven trainer team, consisting of Butterfree, Doduo, Scrafty, Loudred, Granbull, Amoongus, and Fraxure. Team Froakie's battle consisted of Sora, Riku, Terra, Aqua, Lillie, Calem, and Sawyer using Inkay, Scyther, Thor, Eclair, Ponyta, Pidgeotto, and Vigoroth.
"Vigoroth! Use Crush Claw!" Sawyer ordered. Vigoroth lands a Crush Claw on the opposing Pawniard, resulting in a knockout.
"And that's it! Team Froakie advances into the finals!" Professor Sycamore announced, making the other campers cheer.
"Terra, Aqua! Way to go!" Ventus cheered.
"I knew they would make it to the finals," Shauna said.
"Yeah, they're sure to give us a real challenge," Trevor said.
"We shouldn't disappoint them anyway. Let's do this thing," Tierno said.
A few minutes after Team Froakie's battle, Terra held Aqua by the shoulder.
"That was a great battle you put up, Aqua," Terra said. This made Aqua blush.
"Thanks, but it was Eclair who did the real work," Aqua said.
"Pika, Pika," Eclair said.
"Don't be modest, Aqua," Sora said. "Your battling skills were awesome. You and Eclair make a much better team than when you first met." Aqua looked at Eclair and she looked back at Aqua. Both Aqua and her Pikachu smiled at each other.
"You're right. We did grow so much stronger than before," Aqua said.
Tierno, Trevor, and Shauna approached Team Froakie.
"Guys," Tierno said.
"We're tied up for first place, so let's make it a match worth remembering," Trevor said.
"It will be worth mentioning," Karen said.
A few moments later, the final round of the event was about to begin.
"Sora, how is it gonna go?" Calem asked.
"Okay, it's going to be you, me, Riku, Kairi, Serena, Sawyer, and Clemont. They have proven to be difficult to take down multiple opponents even with just the three of them," Sora said.
"You're right. They've gotten pretty strong since they got started on their own journey," Riku said.
"We'll be rooting for you," Naminé said.
"Azu, Azu!" Azurill chirped.
"Thanks, Naminé," Riku said.
"Alright, everyone knows which one to send, right? Then, let's make our choices now and get shaking," Sora said.
Sora, Kairi, Riku, Calem, Serena, Clemont, and Sawyer got ready for their team battle as Tierno, Trevor, and Shauna got into position.
"Now we're at the final event. Team Froakie's lineup consists of Sora, Riku, Calem, Kairi, Clemont, Serena, and Sawyer while Team Squirtle consists of our usual trio! Both teams knows the rules, so let's have fun, shall we?" Professor Sycamore asked.
"Yes," both teams said.
"Battle begin!" Professor Sycamore announced as Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"You're going right in, Hawlucha!" Sora called out.
"Go! Pumpkaboo!" Kairi called out.
"You're up, Scyther!" Riku called out.
"Go! Froakie!" Calem called out.
"Go! Helioptile!" Clemont called out.
"Go! Bagon!" Sawyer called out.
"Go! Fennekin!" Serena called out.
Hawlucha, Pumpkaboo, Scyther, Froakie, Helioptile, Bagon, and Fennekin all emerged from inside their Pokéballs to battle.
"Go! Charmander!" Trevor called out.
"Go! Bulbasaur!" Shauna called out.
"Go! Squirtle!" Tierno called out.
The starter Pokémon of Kanto all emerged from their Pokéballs and awaited their commands.
"Okay, Helioptile! Start up with Thunder Shock on Squirtle!" Clemont ordered. Helioptile fired Thunder Shock at the tiny turtle Pokémon.
"Charmander! Use Flamethrower to block!" Trevor ordered. Charmander fired Flamethrower at Helioptile's Thunder Shock and it successfully blocked it.
"Scyther! Use Night Slash on Charmander!" Riku ordered. Scyther flew right at the lizard Pokémon.
"Bulbasaur! Use Vine Whip to stop Scyther!" Shauna ordered. Bulbasaur sends out her vines right at the mantis Pokémon, landing a hit. "Vine Whip again, but aim it at Froakie!" Bulbasaur lands a hit on the bubble frog Pokémon with Vine Whip.
"Fennekin! Use Hidden Power!" Serena ordered.
"Pumpkaboo! Use Shadow Ball!" Kairi ordered.
Fennekin and Pumpkaboo fire their attacks at their opponents. They managed to dodge their attacks.
"Hawlucha! Use Karate Chop!" Sora ordered.
"Bagon! Use Fire Fang!" Sawyer ordered. Hawlucha came at Charmander and lands a hit on it as Bagon came at Bulbasaur with Fire Fang, landing a hit.
"Charmander!" Trevor gasped.
"Bulbasaur!" Shauna gasped.
"That was good, Sawyer," Sora said. That made Sawyer smile.
"Thanks, Sora," Sawyer said.
"Charmander! Use Flame Charge on Scyther!" Trevor ordered. Charmander charged at Scyther with Flame Charge.
"Scyther! Use X-Scissor!" Riku ordered. Scyther slashed at Charmander with X-Scissor, landing a hit. He turned to Clemont. "Your turn, Clemont."
"Right! Use Thunder Shock!" Helioptile unleashed Thunder Shock and sent it out at the opposing team.
"Charmander! Flamethrower!" Trevor ordered. Charmander fired Flamethrower to block Thunder Shock once again.
"Froakie! Use Water Pulse!" Calem ordered. Froakie forms a ball of water and sends it right at Charmander.
"Squirtle! Use Aqua Tail!" Tierno ordered. Squirtle blocked Water Pulse with Aqua Tail.
"Pumpkaboo! Use Flamethrower!" Kairi ordered.
"You too, Fennekin!" Serena ordered.
Pumpkaboo and Fennekin launched their fire attack at the opposing team.
"Solar Beam!" Shauna ordered.
"Ice Beam!" Tierno ordered.
"Flamethrower!" Trevor ordered.
Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur fired their attacks at their opponents' Flamethrower.
"Sora, you got this!" Kairi said.
"Right! Hawlucha! Use X-Scissor!" Sora ordered.
"Scyther! You use X-Scissor, too!" Riku ordered.
"Bagon! Use Headbutt!" Sawyer ordered.
Hawlucha and Scyther lands a hit onto Squirtle and Bulbasaur with X-Scissor as Bagon lands a hit in Charmander with Headbutt. Pumpkaboo and Fennekin ceases their fire after the Kanto starters were struck.
"Helioptile! Use Dig!" Clemont ordered. Helioptile dug through the ground with Dig. Helioptile came out a few seconds later and struck them all. "Use Thunder Shock!" Helioptile shocked them all.
"Good work, Clemont," Sora said.
"Thanks, Sora," Clemont said.
"Serena, Calem, you guys wanna wrap this up?" Sora asked.
"With pleasure," Calem said.
"Sure," Serena said. "Fennekin! Use Flamethrower!"
"Froakie! Water Pulse!" Calem ordered.
Froakie and Fennekin launched their attacks and their attacks combined. The combo attack sucks in Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle, and it deals a lot of damage onto them. They fell on the ground. They struggled to get up, but they fell out of exhaustion.
"And that's it! Team Squirtle has been defeated, so the winners are Team Froakie! That means you're in our hall of fame!" Professor Sycamore announced as everyone cheered. "And let's hear it for our runners-up, Team Squirtle!" The crowd all cheered.
"I knew you'd win, big brother!" Bonnie praised her brother.
"Thanks, Bonnie," Clemont said.
"We made it to the Hall of Fame!" Bonnie cheered.
"Congratulations, you guys," Sly said.
"You all were an awesome team!" Natsu said.
"After what you worked hard to win, you deserve it," Gray said.
Night came as fireworks are being displayed. As everyone watched, Sora and Kairi held hands as did Riku and Naminé. Ventus placed his hand on Bonnie's, much to her surprise. She blushed and she liked the feel of his hand on hers.
On the very next morning, all of the campers gathered on the beach as the summer camp has reached its conclusion.
"Everyone, I would like to say the closing of this year's Pokémon Summer Camp is upon us! Everyone, give yourselves a round of applause!" Professor Sycamore said. Everyone all clapped. "I sincerely hope from the bottom of my heart that the experience all of you marvelous trainers gained you as competed alongside your Pokémon will be memorable, as well invaluable! May your journeys be rich, and full. And keep traveling onward and upward along with your Pokémon!"
With that said, the Digimon, the Cooper Gang, Carmelita, the Panda King, and Team Natsu rejoined the team as everyone started to take off in their separate ways.
"It was good to see you again, Sora. Now, we have to get back," Lillie said.
"It's cool, Lillie," Sora said.
"Just be sure to tell my mom I'm doing fine when you see her," Riku said.
"Don't worry, Riku. I won't forget," Lillie assured.
"What about the rest of you?" Sora asked.
"We still have our own journeys to continue on," Sawyer said. "And I want to say, it was a thrill to be battling alongside you."
"You too, Sawyer. The way you battled yesterday was very impressive," Sora said.
"We'll be rooting for you for your Gym battle, Sora," Trevor said.
"Thanks," Sora said.
"We'll be seeing you, Sora," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"You as well," Clemont said.
With that said, everyone all started to go their own way. Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Dedenne, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, Team Natsu, the Digimon, the Cooper Gang, Carmelita, and the Panda King continued on their journey to Shalour City and have the battle with Korrina. All that time did give him all the time he needed to train for his Gym battle, and he didn't doubt Korrina has done the same thing, so he knew he's got a tough battle coming his way soon.
Before we get conclude this chapter, I would like to educate you about Kid Klown. He's a character from the Kid Klown video game series. His game was originally a Mickey Mouse game that was exclusive to Japan in 1992, and then changed. Blackjack is the enemy of Kid Klown, and in case you have no idea who King Hippo is, he's a boxer who appeared in the Punch-Out series. That'll be all for now.
