Chapter 74

"So, are you going to tell me why you are avoiding the Manor?" Rose asked, as moved to sit across from Scorpius on her couch eating their Chinese Takeaway dinner. She waited while he took a sip of his wine, not wanting to pressure him she kept her attention on the TV.

"Who said I am avoiding the Manor? I'd just rather be here."

"Alright then, so how are your parents?" She fired back quickly, smiling when she looked over and saw him squirm a little from the question.

"They're fine," he said, with the smallest blushes gracing his cheeks.

"Do you think they talked more without you there for the weekend?"

"Not sure if they talked, but they are fine. Trust me." Scorpius clearly, a little disgusted at what he said. "Can we just drop it; we don't need to talk about this."

"Scorpius, you're being so weird about this, just tell me what happened already."

"Nothing happened." She gave him a look that clearly said 'spill'. "Okay, fine I'll tell you," he relented with a sigh, as he ran his hands over his face and through his hair. "But you laugh, and I swear I'll… I'll…I'll tickle you until you can't breathe," he added with a small smile as he put his food down and turned to face her.

Rose giggled and put her food down as well before agreeing to his terms, "okay fine."

"I went home for dinner like I said I was going too. But when I walked into the dining room, my parents, they…well…they…" Scorpius tried to explain but couldn't.

"They what?" Rose asked concerned about what was so bad they he could even talk about it. "They were…arguing?"

"No, more like the opposite," Scorpius said, rubbing the back of his neck and full-on blushing.

"Oh? …Oh!" Rose finally caught on.

"Yeah," Scorpius said defeatedly, resting his elbows on his knees and holding his head up in his hands. Rose raised her hand to cover her mouth, desperately trying to hold back her laughter and be supportive as she looked upon his defeated and embarrassed expression. "It was horrible, even though I kept my eyes closed most of the time. I keep making bad jokes, I don't even know why. And honestly that was probably the worst experience of my life." Because she was so quiet and didn't say anything after his rant, Scorpius looked back at her.

"Don't!" He warned as he saw her holding back her mirth. But it was too late, she burst out laughing. "That's it," Scorpius said as he lunged across the couch as he started tickling her.

"No, Scorp! Ah! I'm sorry, stop it!" Rose muttered up between her laughter and struggles as he tickled her in her sides. Scorpius was also starting to chuckle, as she struggled and laughed against him, finding her happiness contagious. In an effort to stop him, she reached a hand up to the back of his head and pulled him down to press her lips to his. Scorpius was slightly taken back by it, but easily kissed her back. His hands gave up tickling her and slid around her back. Rose let out a moan as Scorpius deepened the kiss, laying her back on the couch and pressing his body into hers. She rolled her hips up against him, and he groaned as he released her lips and pressed his forehead to hers. "Rose, you are making it very difficult for me to take things slow," Scorpius whispered to her without opening his eyes, as he breathed deeply trying to slow his racing heart. He could feel her breath on his face and knew that she was struggling to do the same. Scorpius pulled back a little and opened his eyes to look at her. She looked up at him, nibbling her bottom lip, clearly torn with what she wanted to do as well. Eventually, she leaned up and kissed his lips, before sliding her hands up his back and pulling him back down on top of her. They slowly built up the kiss to resume where they left off. Both of their hands wandering and finding skin beneath their clothes, before Rose grew tired of that and slid Scorpius shirt up. They separated briefly for Scorpius to remove his shirt. It was a little tight on him and in his haste, it got a little caught on his head. Rose giggled as he struggled but slid her hands over his chest and up to grip his shoulders only to pull him back down to her when he freed himself. Their bodies moved together and soon Rose's camisole joined Scorpius' shirt on the floor. Rose moaned as Scorpius' lips moved their attention down to her neck, and his hands to feel her breasts. Suddenly, the roar of the fireplace behind the couch made Rose push her Scorpius' head way from her to look up at him in alarm.

"Rose! Hello?" Teddy called out, Scorpius finally realised what was going on, but didn't know what to do. Rose had never been more grateful in her life that her couch had such a high back to hide both her and Scorpius at that moment. She quickly reached down and blindly reached for her camisole on the floor. But all she could reach was Scorpius' shirt. "Rose, are you there?" Teddy called out again. 'Fuck it,' Rose thought as she put it on quickly and pushed a shirtless Scorpius back from her. Now visible to him, he looked over at the older man standing by the fireplace and address him.

"Heyyy Teddy," Scorpius said awkwardly, as Rose scurried out from underneath him and stood up beside the couch. "What brings you by tonight," he added, noticing that Teddy was holding his baby girl in his arms.

"Ah, sorry to interrupt," Teddy said with a blush, feeling just as embarrassed and awkward as the new couple. "But I was hoping that you wouldn't mind looking after Sammi for a couple hours," he explained looking at Rose.

"Oh, of course," Rose replied immediately moved towards the baby. "Hey Sammi," she cooed as she took the baby in her arms.

"Is everything okay?" Scorpius questioned, as he moved around to the other side of the couch.

"Not really, Vic and I are on damage control," Teddy responded with a sigh, handing Scorpius a bag with Samantha's essentials. "Fleur and Bill found out about the wedding and the pregnancy," he elaborated further.

"Oh no," Rose gasped.

"How bad?" Scorpius question with a grimace.

"Yeah, it's bad."

"How's Dom? Is she okay?" Rose asked concerned.

"Not really," Teddy replied. "Look, Vic and I are going to see if we can sort everything out, but either way we will be back for her in a couple of hours, if that's okay?"

"Yeah, of course. Don't worry we got this," Scorpius replied, as he stepped closer to wrap an arm around Rose, who cradled Samantha.

"Okay, thank you. I would have gone to one of the aunts or Grandma, but Vic and Dom don't want everyone to know yet, and I thought-" Teddy added, as he looked at them. Almost as if he felt like he had to explain why he chose them and clearly interrupted their night.

"Honestly Teddy, it's fine. Please let us know how it goes and if you need us to do anything else to help," Rose reassured him.

"Okay, will do," Teddy replied as he stepped up to Rose and leaned down to kiss Sammi on the head. After saying goodbye, he stepped back into the Floo and was gone, leaving Rose and Scorpius with his little girl.

When Teddy got back to Dom's cottage it was to see her in pretty much the same state as when he left. His sister-in-law was on the lounge holding on tight to her husband, sniffling from her tears as Jacob tried to sooth her. Victoire stood from where she sat next to her sister and moved towards her husband.

"She's okay. She is with Rose," he told her, immediately reassuring her thoughts about her daughter. Vic nodded but didn't say anything. "How do you wanna handle this?" He asked.

"I don't know," she replied. "We have to tread carefully. Otherwise, this could be disastrous."

"I think we get Louis in on this as well. He might be able to help too." Teddy suggested.

"Yeah, okay," she agreed.

"I'll be right back," he said with a smile, before leaning in and pressing a kiss to her lips. With that Teddy stepped back into the Floo.

"Why did he leave again?" Dominique's scratchy voice broke Vic out of her concerned thoughts and back into the present.

"He's gone to get Louis, we think he will be able to help," she explained to her sister. Dom didn't respond, she just turned her face back into Jacob's chest. Vic looked up, to see Jacob eyes full of concern. They shared a worried look but waited in silence. Not to much longer after, Teddy and Louis stepped out of the fireplace. He immediately approached his oldest sister and wrapped her in a quick hug before he moved towards Dominique. She finally detached from her husband and accepted a hug from her brother.

"Hey, it's going to be okay," he said, as Dom squeezed him tightly. Louis continued to hold his sister while he addressed the others in the room. "So, what's the plan here?"

"Well, we-" Victoire started, but Jacob cut her off.

"I want to go and talk to your Dad," he said.

"No offence mate, but that sounds like to stupidest thing anyone has ever said," Louis chuckled at his new Brother in Laws request.

"Yeah, that's more like plan B," Vic added.

"Plan B? That's like Plan H," Teddy mumbled, clearly thinking Jacob had a death wish.

"No, I need to talk to him," Jacob said firmly and calmly. "I can sort this out with him. What I can't do is talk to your mother. That will be up to one of you two," Jacob spoke to Louis and Victoire.

"Fine. Louis, you stay here with Dom," Victoire spoke up, clearly understanding that Jacob wasn't going to back down from this. "Teddy and I will go with Jacob."

"Alright, your funeral," Louis agreed with a sigh. Dom quickly hit him on the chest where she held her brother, causing Louis to cough. "What was that for? you know I'm right," Louis said to his sister. She let go of him and move to stand in front of Jacob.

"You don't have to do this," Dom said to him, wrapping her arms around him again. "Maybe we should just leave it for tonight, tackle it when we're all feeling better."

"There is no way we are getting any sleep tonight until we at least try and sort this out," he replied, leaning down as kissing her lips. "I'll be fine, I promise."

After Teddy left, Rose moved to sit back down on the couch. Eyes only for the drowsy little baby in her arms. Scorpius wasn't exactly sure, what to do or say. He couldn't help but feeling a little frustrated that this kept happening to them. "So, ah…um," he stuttered, as he moved to stand next to the couch, his hands in his pockets, looking down at the redhead cradling the fair baby. "Well, this night has taken a different turn, from where it was heading."

Rose looked back up to her shirtless boyfriend with an apologetic smile, "I'm sorry."

"Please, you don't have to be sorry," he said, moving to kneel on the floor in front of her. "That's not what I meant, I just…" Scorpius paused, not sure what he was trying to say. "I just hope that we will eventually get a chance to continue what we started tonight."

"Oh, we definitely will," Rose replied, flashing him a lustful glance before reaching out with a hand to hold his jaw. "And soon too," she added with a frustrated sigh, earning her a chuckle from him before he smiled and moved forward to kiss her. Their lips moved together leisurely, before Sammi let out a little grizzle and stretched her arms up. Rose giggled as they moved apart and looked down at the little girl. "Sorry Miss Sammi, you have our complete attention."

When Jacob, Victoire and Teddy stepped out of the fireplace at Shell Cottage it was to find an empty and dark living room. Victoire saw there was light coming from the Kitchen and moved quickly through her childhood home towards it, her husband and brother-in-law following behind her. Upon approaching the kitchen, she saw her mother sitting the kitchen table, gazing out the window, but completely lost in her thoughts. Vic took a moment to observe her mother. It was clear that the older women had been crying, her puffy and red eyes were an obvious give away. On the table in front of her, there was a full cup of tea, that looked like it was untouched. Resting on her collarbone, one hand clutched two sides of a small woolly blanket that sat draped over her shoulders. It pinched Victoire's heart as she recognised it as Dominique's Baby Blanket. "Mum?" she whispered in an effort not to startle her, as she moved into the kitchen. Her mother looked over at her, as she moved to sit in the chair beside her. Vic tried to smile, but knew it come across as a rather sad apologetic smile as she could not muster up much more after seeing her mother like this.

"You were right," Fleur said, turning her head back and looking down at the teacup on the table. She didn't even acknowledge Teddy or Jacob as they moved into the kitchen. "We shouldn't have gone to give Dom her present tonight," Fleur explained further, referring to the conversation they had earlier in the day in which Vic had thought she successfully persuaded her mother out of going to see Dominique tonight.

"Mum, I'm so sorry," Victoire whispered guiltily, as she wrapped her mother in her arms like she had done for her so many times.

"As you should be," a deep voice said from behind her. Vic looked over to see her father standing in the entry way of the kitchen in his pyjamas. "What are you doing here? I think you have done enough damage for one night," Bill had turned his attention to Jacob quickly, not giving anyone a chance to speak up.

Jacob swallowed audibly under Bills blazing gaze but stood firm. "Sir, I hoped we could talk, just you and I."

"And you thought that would be a good idea tonight?" Bill growled. "Do you like the idea of getting your teeth knocked out or are you just stupid?" The older man added, and Teddy earned himself a glare from his wife as he couldn't help but let out a little laugh at the comment.

"No Sir, I just can't take lying next to my distraught wife tonight without at least trying to talk to you," Jacob countered, not backing down. "Her happiness is my priority, not my teeth."

Bill brows pulled together as he seemed to size up the man in front of him, who still would not back down under his gaze. All three visitors seemed to hold their breath as they waited for Bill's next move. Finally, he said "fine, have it your way," before he lift the room. Jacob quickly followed him, leaving Vic and Teddy alone with Fleur.

Jacob followed Bill back into the living room. Neither spoke at first, the tension was palpable. Eventually, Jacob took a deep breath before speaking. "Sir, thank you for agreeing to speak with me and allow a chance to explain. I would like to apologise for a number of things, but firstly, for not speaking to you about my intentions to marry your daughter before proposing, I'm sorry." This caught the older man by surprise, he didn't think this would be what Jacob was going to say when he agreed to this. "I had every intention too, I assure you," Jacob continued with a sigh. "A few months ago, when I was traveling through Prague, I was talking to Dominique from a Muggle payphone. She was already staying with Vic at the time. It was a simple and average conversation about what we were going to be doing that day, what had happened the night before. We finished it with I love you's like we do all the time, but when I hung up, I had this just feeling of total contentment. I knew that if nothing else ever happened to me, but I got to continue to have average conversations like that with her for the rest of my life, I would be so happy. I couldn't stop smiling as I walked through the streets of that city. I happened to walk past a jewellery shop and saw the perfect ring in the window. I brought it straight away."

Bill could see the love this man had for his daughter plain as day across his face as he told him the story. "Couple of weeks later, I was back in England for a bit, and I went to see her at Vic and Teddy's house and we…ah…we got reacquainted." Both men, blushed and felt rather awkward at that statement, but Jacob quickly continued to not let things get side-tracked. "I had all intentions on sneaking away early to speak to you and Fleur, and then proposing to her when my tour had ended. But as she lay there in my arms, I couldn't hold it back, and it just slipped out. She was ecstatic and there wasn't any way she was going to let me go until the last second before I had to Apparate to reach my Portkey in time."

Bill's heart swelled a little as it reminded him of when he was young and in love with a beautiful blonde, how he couldn't wait to call her his as well. "She didn't want to tell anyone before I finished my busy season and after little Sammi was born. So, I always thought that I had time and as soon as I got back, I planned to find a time to explain to you before we announced it. But when I got back, Dom told me she was pregnant and that she wanted to elope and not deal with the big fancy wedding. She was really worried about drama and putting stress on the baby. Like I said earlier her happiness is my top priority, so I agreed because we always intended to tell you after and host a party to announce it and celebrate it with the whole family." Jacob paused to let it sink in, as he saw Bill thinking it over and absorbing the story and trying to decide how he was going to react.

Back in the kitchen, Victoire continued to hold her mother before Fleur lifted her head and moved out of her embrace. "Mum?"

"Are you going to tell me how long you knew about this?" Fleur asked dejectedly. Victoire's eyes quickly shot over to her husband. Teddy looked back apologetically but nodded his head giving her the courage to admit her guilt to her mother.

"Dom told me the night of Sammi's birth," she replied shamefully. Fleur sighed and stood from the chair, moving further away from her daughter. Teddy moved, to stand behind his wife. Placing a supportive hand on her shoulder to let her know that he stood with her no matter what. "And Louis knew too?" Victoire simply nodded in response. Fresh tears rose in Fleur's eyes at the confirmation that all her children lied to her. "How could you let her do this to us?" Fleur continued, with even more despair now shining through her voice. "Do you all hate me this much?"

"What? No!" Victoire jumped up from her chair and stood in front of her mother, grasping her hands. "Mum, we all love you."

"No, my dear, if that was the case one of you would have wanted your father and I there," Fleur argued, before pulling her hands from her daughter grip and stepping away. "I know that you all find me difficult most of the time, but to cut your father out as well is just horrible. He loves you all so much and is gutted to have missed such an important moment in his daughter's life," she lectured. "How am I to look my husband in the eye again, knowing that because of me he missed the chance to see his daughter get married," she cried again, collapsing down in the chair at the table. Victoire couldn't stop the tears from falling from her eyes as well as she watched her mother cry. "I'm so sorry, Mum," she said sincerely. She felt Teddy pull her into his arms and she went willingly.

"Sir, I don't have a big family and I am not particularly close with my parents. They also don't know about any of this, but I love Dom with all that I have, she and our baby are my family." Jacob admitted sincerely. "Now, they are all I'll ever need in this life, but I know that Dom needs you all in her life as well to be happy. Therefore, I need that too. So please, don't shut us out because I wasn't strong enough or man enough to do this the right and respectful way by speaking to you before I proposed," Jacob said earnestly, almost pleadingly as well. Bill felt quite taken with this man's efforts and his love for his daughter, but he let him sweat it a little longer before speaking.

"That was quite a speech, young man."

"Not just a speech, I mean every word," Jacob quickly added.

"I can tell," Bill agreed, for the first time he let a little humour and light back into his expression as he gazed at his new Son in Law. "Jacob, I understand how you feel. I have been there myself, and I don't question your feelings for my daughter." Jacob nodded and stared back at his father-in-law with hopeful eyes. "And I respect you coming here to say all that, you showed courage to do that. But this isn't really about you, at least it isn't for me," Bill explained. "My daughter needs to patch this up herself." As Jacob looked unsure, the older man continued. "Not tonight. I know she's not ready for that. But soon, she will need to speak to her mother and I about this."

"I understand, and thank you for listening Sir," Jacob said.

"You're welcome," Bill replied and stuck his hand out towards his son-in-law. Jacob shook his hand with relief. "Now, you work on getting Dom to come around and I will do my best with her mother," Bill chuckled, now putting an arm around his shoulders and guiding him back into the Kitchen.

When they entered the Kitchen again, it was to see Fleur crying at the table and Teddy trying to comfort is emotional wife in his arms. Bill immediately sat down next to Fleur and tried to pull her into his embrace. She resisted though, pulling away from him and refusing to look at him, confusing the older man greatly. "Mon chéri, qu'est-ce qui ne va pas?" He tried, asking softly, trying to coax her to open up as he settled for resting in his arm across the back of the chair, she sat in.

Fleur's only response was to scoff at him, and say, "Ton français a toujours été de la merde!" Before she stood up from her chair and moved to leave. "Laisse moi seul," was the last thing she said before she left them all in the kitchen. Bill sighed frustratingly. Teddy looked around the room and realised that he was the only one in the room who didn't know what was said between his in laws.

"So, I'm guessing that wasn't good," he said into the tension filled room. Bill stood and looked to Victoire. She immediately told her father what took place in the kitchen with her mother. Victoire left her husband's arms for her fathers, as she expressed her deepest apologies to him as well.

"Don't worry about us, leave your mother to me," Bill said as he held his eldest tight. "And thank you for apologising, but I think it's best that we call it a night."

As soon as he stepped out of the fireplace at his home, Jacob was nearly tackled back in by his wife. "Oh, thank Merlin you're are okay," Dom said as she hugged him.

"You know, I'm starting to believe you really didn't think I could deal with your dad," he teased her. She just rolled her eyes before pressing a kiss to his lips. It was only then that she pulled away and looked at her sister. Dom realised that whatever happened clearly affected her elder sister.

"How did it go?" Louis asked with trepidation as he too could see the pain on his eldest sister's face.

It was Teddy who spoke first, "we'll let Jacob explain. I think it's late and we should take our leave." He wrapped his arm around his wife's waist, steering her towards the floo. "Vic," Dom spoke up, drawing her sister's gaze for the first time since they got back. "Thank you for all your help, I'm really sorry that I stuffed everything up." Vic smiled sadly at Dom, before leaving her husband's side to hug her sister. When she pulled away, she didn't say anything just turned to return to Teddy's side allowing herself to be guided through the floo.

When the exhausted parents stepped through Rose's fireplace, it was into an empty living room. Vic called out for her cousin as Teddy cautiously peered over the back of the couch. "Teddy, what are you doing?" Vic asked as she noticed what he was doing.

"Just checking," he replied, but Vic chose to ignore him as she headed towards Rose's bedroom noticing a soft light shine through the bottom of the door. On the other side, she was met with a welcomed sight. On the top of the bed, lay a young snoozing couple as they held her baby protectively. Scorpius, who was still shirtless held Rose close with his arm wrapped around her shoulders and his head turned towards her, almost as if he had just kissed her forehead before he fell asleep. Rose who was also snuggled as close as she could to the strong man beside her without disturbing the little baby she cradled on her chest. All three slept soundly and Vic found it hard to disturb them, despite wanting to get her baby home and get some sleep herself.

"You didn't tell me Scorpius was here too," Vic whispered to her husband as she felt him step in behind her.

"Yeah, I think I kinda interrupted them when I dropped Sammi off," Teddy whispered in return, cringing. Victoire laughed at her husband discomfort.

"They look so good together," she commented. "And she's really lucky, he is just gorgeous."

"Yes, okay, he's good looking, enough please," Teddy grumbled, folding his arms like a grumpy child. Vic giggled but turned to her husband and pressed a kiss to his cheek. "Settle down, you know I love you," Victoire reassured her husband, before moving towards Rose's beside table. Picking up Rose's muggle phone and she decided to leave Rose a message. She snapped a quick picture of the sleeping couple and her little baby, before sending it with a little thank you message to both Scorpius and Rose's numbers. Then the parents carefully, as to not disturb the couple or wake their daughter, extracted Sammi from the redhead and gathered their things before leaving the flat.

Rose woke the next morning just before her alarm. As she did, she became aware of the man's arm around her waist, his breath on her the back of her neck and his firm body pressed against her. As her alarm went off, the man groaned and rolled to lay on his back. "Rose, stop it please," he growled with an early morning huskiness to his voice. She reached over and stopped the alarm before turning back and snuggling up to him, her head in his chest and arm across his body. His arm still around her shoulders, reeling her in and keeping her close. They stayed like that a little while longer, enjoying the feeling of being with each other as they slowly woke up. Scorpius' started running his hand up and down her back lazily, before he broke the silence.

"We have to get up soon."

"I don't want too," Rose said with a little whine, as she started thinking about the different things she had to do that day. "But yes, we do." It was in this moment that she realised something was amiss. She shot up, startling the blonde beside her, and frantically looked around her room.

"Woah, what's wrong?"

"Sammi!" Scorpius also sat up looking around the room for any evidence that Vic and Teddy collected their little girl. "Did Teddy come back for her last night?" Rose jumped off the bed and went out into the living area. "I had her on my chest, I shouldn't have fallen asleep," she added quite hysterically.

"Rose, calm down," Scorpius called out to the red head from the bed. Soon, she was back in the room, glaring at him. "Look her bag is gone. I'm sure Teddy and Vic just came back and got her."

"How are you so chill about this?" Rose asked accusingly, as she stood at the end of the bed with her hand on her hips. "What if something happened to her? Ted and Vic trusted us to look after their little girl. Now, I've let them down and you don't even care."

"What? No, I do care. I just think you're freaking out for before there is a reason too," Scorpius tried to save the situation even though he was clearly confused as to what she was angry with him. He got up off the bed, rubbing sleep from his eyes and went in search of his phone.

"I'm not freaking out," Rose exclaimed, stamping her foot as if to prove it but her expression said that she knew he was right.

"You kinda are," he bit back quickly as he located his phone under one of her pillows.

"Scorpius!"

"What? you are! And it's cute," he replied, shooting her a cheeky smile as he straightened up and moved around the bed to stand in front of her, "Look, I'll just call their house and I'm sure they will have her there safe and sound," Scorpius reassured her, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "If not, then we can panic, worry-wart," he teased, as he looked down at his phone, accepting the light retaliation hit he received on the shoulder from Rose with a smile. "Huh?"

"What is it? Is she okay?"

"Yeah, Vic sent me a message from your phone last night. They came and got her, Sammi's fine," Scorpius explained.

"Oh good," Rose sighed in relief, rubbing her temples slightly. "What did the message say?"

"Here, I think it's better if you see it for yourself," Scorpius handed her his phone, before laying back down on the bed.

'Best babysitters out there! Asleep on the job and all. All jokes aside, thank you for helping us out last night. Will fill you in with details tomorrow. Couldn't help myself and had to capture this moment, you two look so cute together. And wow, Scorpius! I've always said you are a fine male specimen. Lucky, I'm a married woman Rose, otherwise you'd have some competition! - Love V'

Rose sat down on the end of her bed, blushing as she read the message and saw the photo attached. However, part of her had to agree with her cousin. They did look good together, seeing this picture proved it to herself in many ways. She found herself feeling grateful for that. Rose turned and looked over to see Scorpius laying on her bed, staring back at her with his hands tucked behind his head, still shirtless, legs crossed at his ankles and cocky smirk across his lips. "My cousin thinks I'm pretty lucky to have you around," she said nonchalantly.

"Who? A fine male specimen like me?" He faked surprise at her, causing her to roll her eyes and shake her head, but a small smile could be seen at the corners on for lips. "I guess it makes sense though. I mean I am pretty helpful, and I ride a motorbike. Major sexy man points there," he winked at her.

"You're incorrigible, you know that?" she laughed at him, climbing up the bed to playfully smack him. He let out a laugh unable to stay in this playboy young rouge persona he was portraying. As they both laughed, he stopped her from hitting him by grabbing her wrists and pulling them down onto his chest. He held them there with one hand, so that he could use the other to pull her into a kiss. Their lips moved together leisurely and softy.

"No, truthfully I think she's got it all wrong," Scorpius said, with a more serious tone as when he pulled back.

"About what?" The red head asked, and for a small second, she dreaded that he thought they didn't look good together.

"I'm the lucky one," he replied with a sincere smile. Rose let out frustrated sigh that was almost a groan, as she kissed him again because he annoyingly said exactly the right thing.

Eventually, they were able to detangle from each other to get ready for the day. However, just as Rose was rushing towards the fireplace, now fearing that she might be late, Scorpius snagged her around the waist and pulled her against him.

"I'm sorry, I know you have to go," he rushed out already, seeing the words on her lips. "But I was wondering what you are doing Friday night?"

"Nothing important. Why?"

"Because I was thinking that would be a good time for our date."

"Ahh… maybe," Rose pretended to think about it, before smiling and pressing a kiss his lips. "Sounds great." She kissed him quickly again. "But I really do have to go, sorry," she added detaching herself from him before rushing into the Floo.

There's another chapter, hope you liked it. I know many aren't reading this anymore and I am so sorry I take ages to upload new chapters. Still love seeing your review and will always try to upload more. If you're new to this story, know that I will update but I can be slow. Please let me know, what you think of the chapter. I'm interested to see your take on Dom and her side of the Weasley families situation. Do you think what she did was okay? What would you do in her situation? Also how do you feel about Rose and Scorpius? I know the last two chapter was pretty fluffy for them.
