Chapter 2

A/N: Back out front for a bit, and I have nothing to do, let's write!

Harry Potter was exhausted. He felt like he didn't get enough sleep, even though he fell asleep at around nine, and woke up at around seven. With nothing waking him up in between, he should feel amazing… right?

No.

He felt like shit. He felt like he got no sleep. He had History first, so after he ate breakfast, he went to his dorm and grabbed his History textbook after forgetting to get it this morning.

History was a bore. Harry managed to get a few notes down, and then realized Binns was just repeatong everything that's in the book. So Harry stopped taking notes, and slept for the rest of class.

Theo woke him up at the end of class, and they headed to Charms class.

They were learning the Lumos charm today, and Harry was able to get a flash near the middle of class. It was quick and short, but very bright.

Buy the end of class, Harry was able to hold the charm for 39 seconds, but it slowly got darker and darker over the duration of those 39 seconds.

Then came Double Potions with Gryffindor. It couldn't be that bad could it? Ron and Hermione were in that house. He even had potions with them yesterday! But everyone, in both houses, was complaining about it.

Two blown up cauldrons later (Neville… twice), 70 points to Slytherin, and an astounding 120 points from Gryffindor later, they were leaving the class. Skytherin now had a free block before lunch, and then there was Brooms. During the free block, Harry went to his dorms, and started reading the course books ahead of time.

After all, Slytherin was the house of ambition, and failing was unacceptable.

-Lunch-

Harry sat next to Theo and Blaize, and was eating some Pulled Pork and Grapes. They were talking about how excited they were for their next class.

"So Potter," Malfoy interupted. "Have you ever ridden a broom before?"

"Of course he hasn't you moron, can't exactly ride a broom in a muggle neighborhood now can you? Of course… I wouldn't expect a pureblood to know that" a voice interupted, and suddenly Snape was there. In typical fashion, glaring down at them, with a sneer on his face. "Now, I would appreciate if you didn't try to start something in public Draco. Potter, when you're done eating, meet me before flying practice. I've already informed Madam Hooch that you might be a few minutes late." Without waiting for a response, Snape walked toward the door next to the staff table, ribes billowing behind him, and exited the room.

After Harry finished his lunch, he walked down to Snapes office in a hurry. He didn't want to be late to Flying lessons.

Entering the Slytherin common room, Harry walked to the door in between the staircases leading down to the dorms.

As soon as heentered, his eyes met Snapes, and he heard a loud grunt, before he blacked out.

-Linebreak-

Who does this Bastard think he is? He lures Harry into a room and mentally assults him. I don't think so.

Taking control of the body, I throw Snape out of our mind, and in doing so, he's launched across the room.

But that was a mistake, he seems to realize something is up.

"So… why do you have two people inside your mind Potter!" Yep, I messed up.

Not the first time this has happened though. I release my magic, not Harry's, but mine. I see it hit Snape and I'm ready to alter his memeories.

I reach for the memories of since I walked in, but I'm blocked. I can't get to it. So I stop.

"Would you care to answer my question without trying to go through my mind? Along with another question. Who are you?"

A/N: This is of course, where I planned to end it. I do like cliffhangers, but that's only 634 words, and that won't do. Let's continue!

I didn't answer. So he asked aagin, this time with more force in his voice "Who… are… you?"

"I don't yet have a name." I say quietly. I say it so quietly there's no possible way for Snape to even hear a grumble. Except… he hears me.

"Well then, what did you do with Potter?"

"I took control of the body. It's my job to protect Harry from threats." I say, this time not even bothering to not let him hear it… wait… why am I answering his questions! This is supposed to be secret! No ones supposed to know I exist!

Harry's magic flares, and I see a foreign bit of magic fly out. I could feel it, a compulsion charm to tell the truth.

I turn and glare at Snape. This has to be illegal. "Now if you excuse me, this is probably illegal, and I must get to Flying lessons before I miss everything."

"Of course." He says, and the door opens magically. I glare at him again, and walk out.

On the way to flight class, I change Harrys memory. Shame I couldn't change Snapes memory, but this will have to do. I make it so boring he just doesn't care to remember. If needed, I'll come out though, and say some lies before quickly going back in.

I put my hand against a wall outside of the courtyard flying lessons are taking place, and retreat into the mind-space.

-Linebreak-

It was time for flying lessons, and Harry was excited. He ran over to a broom in the row of Slytherins yelling "Up!". There was one broom left, so Harry went over to it, said "Up" and the broom flew to his hands first try, along with the glares of half the slytherins (mainly Malfoy and his goons), and most of the Gryffindors (Ron being the most intense).

Eventually though, everyone had gotten there brooms, and Madam Hootch was counting down for us to push off.

Neville however, seemed to be nervous, and pushed off early. He rose into the sky, and fell off his brooms.

Madam Hootch took Neville to the Hospital Wing giving us a warning to not fly on the brooms until she got back or else.

Anyway, Malfoy saw a toy ball that Neville dropped, and picked it up.

"Did you see his face? Maybe if the fat lump had given this a squeeze, he'd have remembered to fall on his fat ass." Malfoy said, and started laughing softly.

The Slytherins all followed in laughter, and even Harry gave a chuckle. Meanwhile the Gryffindors looked angry, while the muggleborns looked confused.

Draco, seeing their confusion, therefore not letting his joke reach its peak, started explaining to them, "It's a remembrall, when you're holding it, and if you've forgotten something important, and becomes red."

"Whatever…" Draco said with a sigh, not getting any response. Everybody just stood there in awkward silence, before Draco threw the thing to the ground, and pouted that he didn't get any attention.

Before long though, Madam Hootch came back, and flying lessons continued. Ron grabbed the Remembrall when he was able to though.

A/N: That's the end of the Chapter. It is quite early in the morning, and I am the only one awake enough to do anything lol. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I'll see you in the next one! (Some of the Chapter was written by our Host)
