Papa made breakfast the next morning for them all. He'd made his way into the kitchen to find Eri sat at the table, her little legs happily swinging back and forth, as she worked her way through egg and soldiers.
She looked up as he entered and smiled around a full mouth.
He smiled at the cuteness.
It all looked so natural.
"So, I heard 1-A is doing a concert." Papa spoke up, excitement clear in his voice. "Need any help?"
"You focus on your own class." Dad replied, announcing his presence in the doorway.
Hizashi grumbled.
"You're no fun."
The erasure hero smiled, closing the distance between them and wrapping his arms softly around the voice hero in a hug from behind.
"Look at you being all cute." Papa teased. "Take your coffee and get eating."
Dad smirked but did do as he was told, coming to take a seat at his usual spot at the table.
"Morning, Eri."
"Morning!" Came her cheery reply.
"Morning, Tosh."
"Mm." He replied, his own mouth now full of bacon.
Dad chuckled.
He walked to school with Deku, Kacchan, Dad, and Papa; Eri tagged along too before immediately rushing over to Mirio at first sight of him.
"Hello you!" Mirio scooped her up into his arms.
"Be good for Lemillion, Eri." Dad instructed.
"I will!"
"Of course she will." Mirio smiled. "Come on, let's go find Suneater."
"Yeah!"
"Come on then you three, you've got a concert to plan!" Papa stated excitedly. "I'll see you later, Tosh."
The voice hero ruffled his hair before pressing a kiss to his crown.
Hitoshi smiled.
"Bye. Love you."
"Love you too." Papa practically grinned as he hurried off.
"You're so mushy, Purple Hair." Kacchan teased.
"I think it's sweet." Zuku beamed.
He closed the distance between himself and Dad before linking their arms, making sure to make himself known to the hero first.
Dad pretended to tap his cane onto Hitoshi's shoe with a smirk.
"Very funny." His shook his head, pretending the familiar joke still didn't make him laugh.
The four of them reached the doors of the school shortly after and headed inside.
"So have you had any ideas yet about what role you would like to have during the concert, Tosh?"
"If I have to be in this stupid thing then I'm gonna be the drummer and no one can stop me!" Kacchan answered.
"Remember when I didn't ask you?" Shouta teased his little brother, causing Zuku to break out laughing.
Dad turned his attention back to him shortly after, his expression soft and patient.
"I... I don't know." He answered honestly. "I don't really know what a concert is."
"That's okay; we can help you with that, so don't worry yourself over it. I'm sure a lot of people in the class haven't been to a concert either."
"Really?"
"Yeah." Dad nodded. "I mean, these two haven't."
That caught him by surprise.
"Never really cared that much." Stated Bakugou.
"I always preferred heroes." Deku smiled.
"See, you're fine." Dad reassured, giving his arm a light squeeze in comfort.
"Thanks."
